Mya didn’t mind so much, but then again, she’d had space from all that shit they used to pull when I was trying to get my relationship with Lily on a firm footing. I learned to deal, though, and Jack and I got a bit closer. I mostly understood what they were to each other, but there were times when the green-eyed monster raised its ugly head where he was concerned.

“Hey,” I said answering my cell.

Mya’s voice was a little high pitched, rushed, and she sounded slightly breathless.

  “Are you sure she’s gone?”

I could hear high heels clattering noisily in a hollow space. “Where the hell are you, Mya?”

“In the stairwell, I’m coming up to your room.”

I stifled a chuckle and cleared my throat. I pointed out what was wrong with that image when she’d reached the top.

“Mya, honey, I’m in the Penthouse. The stairs stop the floor below me unless you have a key card to enter.”

“Shoot, you mean I came in the service entrance and climbed all these fucking stairs and you still have to ask someone to let me up one more entire floor? What in God’s name was the point of that?”

By then I was really chuckling, “Don’t worry, I’ll send someone down to open the door for you. Next time just use the fucking elevator like everyone else. I could practically hear you coming up the stairs in those heels anyway. I doubt you were as inconspicuous as you think you were.”

I hung up and made a call to Henry, my closest protection guy. A few minutes later Mya almost lunged at me as I stood by the open door waiting for her.

“Jesus, quick, get inside,” she barked and then banged the door tightly shut behind her.

Leaning back on it, she was flushed and breathless.

I couldn’t help looking her over. She was an absolutely stunning girl and not that different in height and weight to Lily. Like my girl, she had long dark brown hair. It had weirded me out a little the first time I’d seen her with Jack. Not only was she a musician and the same type - petite and brunette - but also because she had the same flirty-vibe-thing going on with Jack that he used to have with Lily.

“Shit, Alfie, next time you want to surprise your woman, can you pick a guy to help with the planning. I don’t think my heart is up to the strain of all this cloak and dagger mysterious crap.” Mya commented breathlessly, and I watched her struggle to regulate her breathing after climbing all the stairs.

No one knew who Mya was. It was me that was famous. Leaning forward, she placed her hands on her knees still breathing heavily. It struck me that she was pretty similar in her mannerisms to her uncle, Rick Fars, another rock star who was an even bigger name than I was.

“Best you get that heavy breathing and your flushed face under control, Mya. If Lily walked through that door right now, you’d have to do some fancy dancing to convince her that this meeting is above board. You’re a hot mess girl.”

I thought she was adorable to try to save our respective reputations, but as couples go, I thought everyone would have struggled to believe we’d cheat on Lily and Jack with each other.

She glanced at her watch, “Dang, Alfie, it’s 12:45. We only have two hours at the most.”

Inclining my head, I gestured toward one of the leather chairs by the coffee table. Mya placed her purse on the console table by the door. She wandered over to take a seat while I knelt at the bed and swept my hands under the mattress to grab the brochures I’d hidden from Lily.

“Seriously, Alfie? Under the mattress? I thought they only did that stuff in the movies. Don’t ever have an affair will you? We’ll be reading about you being found in someone’s closet, or there will be pictures of you on someone’s balcony or window ledge all over the internet. Couldn’t you be more original in your hiding place?”

I smirked sheepishly because I had no defense. Lily almost caught me talking to the travel agent. She had returned to our room early and I panicked, sliding the brochures under the bed. I’d forgotten they were there until Mya arrived.

“Enough of the smart mouth, Mya, let’s get this plan together.”

  Chapter 3 Making Plans

Mya and I worked quickly, arranging flights and accommodation, transport and a few extras we wanted, to make everything special for everyone. We only had three nights because of everyone’s work commitments.

“Alright, check this before I press to confirm the numbers, Alfie. Lily, you, Jack, me, Dave, Emily, Lennon, Cody, Uncle Rick and Emma…is that it?”

“No, you need to add Henry, Jed and the two guys from XrAid’s security team. Better check with Rick, Lennon and Cody in case they have women in tow. Hell, book it now and get an extra two cabins. We can sort the other stuff out later. ”

Punching the tablet again, she glanced up at me and smiled widely, obviously excited.

“Eek, Jack and Lily are going to poop in their pants when they find out what we’re planning.”

Smiling warmly at her youthful choice of words, my mind drifted momentarily to the fact that I was planning a trip for a group of people. During my late teens, I’d been a bit of a loner when I wasn’t with the band. I’d never really felt like I belonged to a big crowd of people before I’d met Lily. But it felt like we were like family. Alright— a pretty dysfunctional family and as much of a family as three groups of wayward rock bands and my Lily’s group of friends could be.

Surrounded by good people, I realized that life was more important than work. They were the family I chose, real people in a world where life got pretty surreal for some of us otherwise. Being in a famous rock band or living with someone who was, wasn’t easy. Everyone we were close to felt the pressure. Plus, if I was an ass, or one of the others was, there was no shortage of scathingly honest remarks from people we trusted when it mattered.

Mya squeezed my arm with excitement and dragged me out of my daydreaming. I chuckled at her enthusiasm and leaned over to hug her.

“I owe you, honey. I’d have been lost trying to arrange this by myself. I’d have had my PA make the arrangements, but I want it to be a complete surprise, and I couldn’t trust that one of the others in the team wouldn’t pick it up and mention it to Lily.”

Standing up, Mya leaned over to grab the red woolen cardigan from the back of the chair. I hadn’t seen her take it off. Pushing her hand into the sleeve she widened her eyes and gave me a small smile again.

“I’d better make myself scarce before Lily comes back.”

As she walked to the door, my cell began to vibrate in my pocket. Fishing it out, I saw it was Rick.

“It’s Rick,” I stated, and swiped the screen to accept his call.

My heart almost stopped when he said he was in the foyer with Lily. They were on their way to the elevators. My alarm that Lily had returned so quickly, and that Mya was still standing in the apartment must have been written on my face.

Mya instantly grabbed my forearm and mouthed, “What’s wrong?”

With only twenty-four hours before our trip, I didn’t want all our efforts to surprise Lily to have been in vain. We’d been working on this for nearly a week; pulling the dates everyone was available and where we were going. I shook my head in astonishment and began dragging Mya toward the door. My mind was in chaos, and I was too short on time to explain what was going on. Once outside the suite, I headed in the direction of the stairs pulling Mya by the hand and hung up on Rick at the same time.

“Lily, Rick, elevator, quick. Stairs, thank you. I’ll call you later.”

With that, I opened the door and pecked her on the cheek. I pushed her through the doorway into the stairwell and slammed the door shut behind her. As I turned, the elevator door opened, and Rick escorted Lily out, which meant I was behind them walking back to the suite.

“Boo!” I shouted from my makeshift hiding place. Lily jumped, and Rick punched me in the stomach.

“Ouch! For fuck’s sake, Rick, can’t you take a joke, dude?” I asked, hunched over with my hand rubbing my stomach to soothe the pain he’d
left there.

“Alfie. Damn! You scared the shit out of me sneaking up on us like that,” he said.

Lily piped up in Rick’s defense and stared pointedly at me, “Alfie you should know better than to do something that stupid. We have enough surprises dealing with the fans to last us a lifetime, never mind you jumping out like that. Whatever possessed you to do that?”

Lily turned on her heel. Her hair swished behind her as she made her way into the penthouse. Rick smirked at me, shook his head and stared at me with an incredulous look on his face before following suit. I rubbed my aching abs again as he walked ahead, and I made a mental note to avoid any real altercation with him in the future.

Luckily, I had hidden everything as soon as Mya and I had finished talking to the travel company. I’d felt smug with what we’d managed to accomplish. As far as I was aware, there was no evidence in the penthouse of Mya or the holiday. Allowing myself a knowing smirk, I closed the door behind me. When I’d turned to address them, something caught my eye on the console table.

  Mya’s purse. Shit!

Lily and Rick were standing with their backs to me in conversation. I stood frozen, deciding what to do about grabbing the purse from the table. What if they turned around and saw me with it in my hand? What the fuck could I say?

My internal struggle lasted a split second, but in my mind it felt like a lifetime. All I could see was the purse. I had no choice but to hide it. Swiping it from the console table I ran into the bathroom. I swung the door shut with force and locked it. Lily’s small fist hammered on the door immediately, her voice was anxious.

“Alfie, are you alright? What’s wrong, honey?”

“It must have been those mussels we had last night,” I lied.

My voice sounded pathetic when I’d tried to sound unwell. Meanwhile, I held the leather purse close to my chest, my eyes frantically scanning the small tiled room for somewhere to stow it. Everything in there was fitted; fucking modern bathroom design. Shit! Shit! Shit! Even the shower was clear glass and nowhere offered refuge for the purse. There was only one thing left to do.

Quickly, I rifled through Mya’s purse and took out her credit card wallet. Everything else in it was immediately replaceable. Gingerly, I lifted the lid of the toilet cistern, being careful that the lid didn’t knock against the body of it. I flushed and stuffed the small bag inside before the weighted ball dick let it refill. Once I was happy it was low enough, I gently replaced the lid.

My heart raced. I rang Mya’s phone to tell her I had the purse in case she tried to come back. When she answered, I’d whispered as quietly as I could and hung up before she could reply. I briefly reminded myself that it would make a good story once everything was out in the open, and I ran the faucet to wet my face. Unlocking the door, I left the bathroom and wandered back into the main seating area of the suite.

Lily and Rick turned to me with concern etched on their faces.

“Jesus, Alfie. What’s going on with you? One minute you’re joking, the next you’re ill? Damn, if I knew I could make you shit just by punching you, I’d have done that a long time ago. I told you I thought you were anal about things didn’t I?”

I smirked at Rick’s comment and wandered over to the closet, too preoccupied with the bulge in my back pocket instead of my front for a change. Slipping my hand inside the closet door I felt around for my leather jacket and found the pocket. I dropped Mya’s credit cards inside and breathed a long, audible sigh of relief. Rick took that as me being frustrated and laughed loudly.

“Alright you two, I’m out of here. I don’t do pissed-off-and-angsty, Alfie. I’ll see you both at dinner later. I have two more interviews, and I’ve got to find time to get laid. Don’t be late for tonight.”

He walked to the door then turned around and waved his hand back and forth between Lily and me. “If you’re planning on getting it on, start now. I hate being kept from my food.”

Lily’s jaw dropped in shock at his blunt comment, but Rick was being…Rick. He always said exactly what he meant without a thought about how it might affect others. Rick left, and I strode toward Lily, circling her face with my index finger. I couldn’t suppress the wicked smile that played on my lips. She looked adorably flustered for someone that spent her life in the limelight being ogled by male fans.

“Lily, you need to stop with that blushing girl, you know what it does to me.”

She knows because she inevitably ends up with no panties on when I see that flushed look on her face. It got me every time.

“You’ve made a remarkable recovery for someone whose guts just fell into the toilet,” she threw back.

I hurriedly told her that I’d pulled a stunt hoping that Rick would leave so that I could have her all to myself. Lily leaned toward me reaching up on her tiptoes and planted a small kiss on my mouth. Her wet tongue tantalized when she ran it along the seam of my lips, and I snapped.

Valuable playtime flashed through my mind. I surprised her by sweeping her off the floor and with her body in my arms; I walked to the bedroom. I threw her playfully on the bed and landed beside her, then rolled her to lie on top of me.

“Alright, where were we before you had to run out and leave me adjusting my swollen dick in my pants?

Lily pulled herself free and repositioned until she was sitting astride me. Flicking her hair back, she smirked and began the slow painful process of unbuttoning my shirt while she stared into my eyes.

“Well, Alfie, we didn’t get this far earlier, but as it’s getting late, and we’re meeting Rick for dinner. I’d hate to think we didn’t respect our elders enough to do as we were told. I don’t know about you, but I was brought up to take their advice without question.”

A mixture of love and naughty thoughts shone in her eyes, and I grinned at Lily’s assertiveness to take what she wanted from me. I raised my eyebrow in a silent question, wondering what she intended to do to me. At that, Lily’s small fingers began working in earnest at the buttons on my shirt. When she’d finished opening the last button, she swept both sides of the shirt apart and stared down at my body for a moment. Her warm palms skimmed across my skin, from my belly up and across my abs, pushing the shirt over my shoulders.

I pulled myself up to help her remove the shirt. She bunched the cotton material and shoved the sleeves gently down my arms. Her eyes flicked between what she was doing to mine as she gauged my reaction. A small smile tugged at the corners of her mouth then spread over her lips. She pressed her weight against my torso pushing me down onto my back. My arms were fixed by my sides, restrained inside the shirtsleeves. Lily’s eyes widened, her pupils dilated when she realized I couldn’t move. A more seductive smile gave her eyes a deeper, naughty glare when they raked over my body then traveled up to my face before fixing on mine.

Erratic beats drummed heavily against my chest as my heart flipped in anticipation. Lily chose to let a quiet moment pass between us. The silence was broken when she took a deep breath as her lust-filled eyes passed over my body again. Her fingers gently strummed back and forth across both of my nipples sending a delicious shiver rippling through my veins. Instantly, her teasing hands spiked my arousal. Taking another deep breath, she began to tell me what she was thinking. Her fingers continued their journey, dragging across my hot, sensitive flesh, tracing the hard lines of my abdomen.

“Damn…just…damn, Alfie. I don’t think there will ever be a time when I see your body, and I won’t want to lick the creases of those toned abs, run my fingers and tongue over this ink here, or want to nibble above your collar bone. How did I ever live without you?”

Lily leaned forward and began planting small soft kisses until she’d kissed just about every inch of my upper body.

Sitting back on her heels, Lily continued to trail her fingers up and down my belly, teasing me slowly, killing me slowly with the way she was worshiping my body. Leaning forward again, she began to circle my left nipple with her tongue. Her silky hair swept across my chest and belly,
her eyes glanced up to check my reaction.

My poor body was on fire. My thick, swollen dick was hot and hard; ready and straining to be sunk deep within her. I lifted my hips and pressed towards her heat as hard as my restricted position allowed. My heels stung with the pressure I placed on them when I dug them deeply into the mattress in search of greater contact. Lily stilled on top of me, biting back her own need, as the expression on her face belied her true want. I knew that look; her need equaled mine.

“Am I making you uncomfortable, Alfie? Should I stop?” she teased, her innocent voice just adding some sauce to my desperation. If I’d called her bluff, she’d have been disappointed.

“Fuck no, Lily. Explore away, honey.”

Grinning devilishly, I pretended she wasn’t affecting me much, but my frustration and animalistic side was torturing me. Lily gave me a naughty little smirk and shrugged her shoulders to her ears like she was pleased with herself then tucked her hair behind her ear. Her unconscious nervous move almost made me chuckle. Before I could fully process that thought, she bent down quickly and took my nipple in her mouth and sucked hard.

Desire flooded my body, beginning at a central spot in my chest and radiating out. It coursed down both limbs and up into my scalp making my skin tingle. Every fiber and nerve ending in me was on fire, alight with a need to be sated. Goosebumps covered every inch of me and the discomfort I felt from my dick’s restricted movement aroused me to the point of bursting. She was frustrating the fuck out of me.

“Take your top off, you’re not playing fair, Lily, at least let me see some skin.”

When I heard Lily giggle sweetly, the sound made my heart swell. I wanted to grab her and tease her to the point of pain. I loved the sounds she made when her naughty side reared its head, but I was beyond distraction and playful foreplay.
