Total Calamity Robot Book 1.2- NEXUS

We arrive at Dynasty H.Q., into the monitor room, which is the same as the Atlas Dynasty, but with a new set of people, including a different woman as the head Operator. The woman’s name was Kimiko Watanabe. She had long black straight hair and black eyes and wore diamond earrings. She had on a black blouse, long tight black pants, black heels, and wore a diamond necklace, and having a diamond ring placed on her right ring finger. She had her hands crossed, eyes glued to the main monitor, watching the Dynasty Soldiers go to war with their enemy. All you could hear was screams, energy blasts, and explosions.

  “Kamati City is now on high alert, and are under attack!” shouts a male operator.

  “Damn, they’ve arrived there too…!” says Kimiko before sucking her teeth.

  “An abundance of Solar bots has landed in Kamati City and are already commencing destruction!” shouts a female operator.

  “Ok, send more soldiers to Kamati City stat!” shouts Kimiko. Fuck…it’s getting bad… thought Kimiko, pressing her finger to her lips.

  Suddenly, the elevator door opens, and out comes two people. A tall young man, and a woman, both having serious looks on their faces. The tall young man had short spiky brown hair, brown eyes, and wore a long unbuttoned white and blue trench coat that showcased the dragon placed on the back of the trench coat, along with a black undershirt, long black pants, and silver combat boots. There was also a robot face with bright green eyes with the colors of white, red, and blue as a wrist device placed on his right wrist.

  The young woman had long brown hair and blue eyes, wearing a long light blue sleeve jacket that revealed the dragon placed on the back of the jacket. The jacket was unzipped, showing out a white tank top as her undershirt. She also wore short black jeans and black combat boots. There was also a light blue robot face with bright red eyes made as a wrist device placed on her right wrist, and a gold bird necklace.

  “I see it’s starting to look bad, as usual,” says the young tall man.

  “Well, no shit Mr. Arata Noshino,” replies Kimiko.

  “Sis, who’s going to Kamati, and who’s heading to Tojisa?” asks the young woman.

  “Eh…Arata, go to Kamati City, and Ms. Harumi Watanabe, you can head to Tojisa City,” replies Kimiko.

  “Done,” says Arata.

  Suddenly, both of Arata and Harumi’s eyes flashed blue before having their bodies engulfed in a bright blue light and finally vanishing into blue particles of light.

  “…Can I get a visual on Atlas City please?” says Kimiko.

  “Pulling up visuals,” replies a male operator.

  Kimiko’s eyes soon widen to find the chaos currently ensuing in Atlas City.

  “…Holy…! Those mass-produced robots that King Daimus had planned…! Why are they going berserk like that…?” says a shocked Kimiko, “Man…I hope the Calamita Team can save the day…it’s not looking good for them right now…”

  “Kimiko! I’ve just got word that Cosmos is also under heavy fire from the Solars!” shouts a female operator.

  “Ah…not a good day today…” says Kimiko, looking on at the monitor with an angered look.

  [Tojisa Technical College/ Classroom #102]

  All the students are now glued to their smartphones, watching a live feed of what’s going on outside. The faint echoing sounds of explosions were still at a constant, and the room lightly shaking.

  “Fuck, it’s getting BAD outside,” says a concerned Shina as her hands shook.

  “I agree; we have to get the fuck out of here ASAP before something worse happens. I feel like the chaos is getting closer and closer here…” says Kyo.

  “Relax Kyo, there’s no need for us to be out there right now. Clearly, the Dynasty Soldiers are doing their job. We’ll be safe,” replies Shina.

  …And just like that…in a flash, before Kyo and everyone’s eyes, something crashes from the top of the roof and lands into the classroom. Everyone is bug-eyed to find a blue solar bot right before them in the flesh. It was complete silence for everyone, as they all gazed at the bright red-eyed robot watching them. Seconds later, the solar bot suddenly grabs the professor, and throws him across the room, crashing into the wall. Everyone screams in horror and scramble to get out of the room, but that solar bot would not let them get away.

  The Solar bot starts to blast people with a yellow energy ball, piercing through many of the student’s chests. The horror was something Kyo and his friends have never seen before. They were frozen in horror, watching the solar bot annihilate the helpless students right in front. Kyo suddenly blinks, and turns, facing a backdoor. Kyo kicks the back door open and races inside, with his friends following pursuit…

  [Tojisa Technical College Parking Lot]

  Kyo and his friends race out the entrance door and are racing to the large parking lot. They are shocked to find the chaos that’s ensuring all over the place. Dynasty Soldiers fighting against the solar bots destroyed robot parts all over the ground, and a fiery city that’s seen from afar. They all stop and look around to just gaze at the chaos that’s ensuing right before them.

  “…Man, I can’t believe this is happening here…!” says a shocked Zeke.

  “…Just a normal day,” says Kyo.

  Kyo suddenly heads for his black bike and gets on.

  “H-Hey! Kyo! Don’t you think you want to get in my car?! It might be too dangerous for you right now!” shouts Shina.

  “Don’t worry! I’ll be fine! You guys get home! I’ll call you guys when I’m home!” replies Kyo, quickly revving up his bike and racing off, leaving his friends looking on worried.

  “…Damn. C’mon boys, off we go!” shouts Shina, running towards a pink SUV.

  As Kyo races off, he witnesses more chaos ensuing in the core of Tojisa City. Kyo’s eyes look focused, and he twists the handles of his bike, charging off faster into the danger, rather than heading home to safety…

  Chapter 12

  Your Life

  [Tojisa City]

  Harumi teleports on top of a building, to a more torn down part of Tojisa City, where the Dynasty Soldiers are battling the Solar bots. People are evacuating from anywhere they can, just trying not to be killed in the crossfire. Harumi moves her eyes around slowly, watching what’s going on around her as the wind blows through her hair. She watches the soldiers get slaughtered before her eyes. The Dynasty soldiers were having a tough time against their enemy, and it was not looking good. However, Harumi looked on watching all this as if she was not impressed. She suddenly closes her eyes and lets out a sigh.

  “…You soldiers…you’re pathetic sometimes,” mutters Harumi, “…Aqua, Enforce…!”

  Suddenly, Harumi’s wrist device’s eyes glow bright, and Harumi’s body covers in an aqua blue light. A few solar bots stop their onslaught to watch her transform but quickly go after her moments later.

  Before one of them could strike by simply throwing a kick her way, Harumi blocks it with her forearm, and while she does, the light covering her body shatters into light particles, revealing Harumi’s light blue battle armor. Harumi watches the solar bots with a focused look in her eyes before grabbing that solar bot’s foot and tossing it, as it crashes into a building. Harumi quickly pulls out two beam swords from off her back and charges after the solar bots.

  Harumi glides through the solar bots, easily slicing the solar bots apart with her beam swords. The Dynasty Soldiers stopped and observed at how well Harumi was doing against the enemies.

  “…Man, that girl is amazing…!” says a female soldier.

  Harumi suddenly flies up into the air and faces the Dynasty Soldiers.

  “Listen up. I need you all to evacuate the people. Don’t bother to fight the solar bots unless you are in a position to do so,” orders Harumi.

  “We’re always in a position to do so! We have our lives to protect as well!” replies an angry male soldier.

  “Not when Arata and I are here. Now please, help the people, and I’ll handle the rest,” says Haru
mi before turning her back and flying off, leaving the soldiers looking on at her with anger in their eyes.

  Kyo meanwhile is dashing through the destroyed city, watching all the chaos go down. As he continues, his eyes widen, and he hits the breaks on his bike, witnessing a mother and her daughter running towards him from a solar bot that’s quickly coming their way. Kyo revs up his bike and blasts past the mother and daughter, charging towards the solar bot.

  Why the fuck am I doing this…?! thought Kyo, seconds before suddenly hopping off his bike and rolling hard to the ground, as the bike rams into the solar bot.

  As Kyo stops rolling, he witnesses the Solar bot laid out on the ground badly damaged and unresponsive, with his bike destroyed.

  …Fuck…! thought Kyo, I destroyed one…! But my bike…!

  “Thank you so very much!”

  Kyo looks up and finds the mother smiling at him, helping him get back on his feet.

  “Thank you so much for saving my daughter and me!” says the tearful mother.

  “Yeah, yeah, it’s no problem, please get to safety!” shouts Kyo.

  “But you should as well! My home isn’t too far from here, we can go together!” says the mother, attempting to grab on to Kyo’s hand, but Kyo takes a few steps back, which surprises her.

  “Please…I have something to do, run to safety please…!” replies Kyo with a serious look on his face.

  “…OK…please be safe…!” says the concerned mother. “Come, sweetie!”

  The mother holds on to her baby daughter and turns to run off, but seconds later, Kyo witnesses two Dynasty soldiers land right in front of her. The woman looks on shocked, as one of the soldiers quickly holds on to the woman and flies off just like that, and Kyo looks on at the last soldier with an angered look on his face. The soldier then sees Kyo and quickly walks towards him.

  …So now they appear! thought Kyo.

  “Hey, kid! You got to get out of her! It’s way too dangerous for you!” shouts a male dynasty soldier.

  “Well….! I’m fine! I knocked down one solar bot, with the cost of my bike! And it’s all you guys fault for not being around here fast enough!” shouts Kyo.

  “Yeah, cool, whatever, but you have to leave. Come with me,” says the soldier.

  “I’m fine, I don’t need you guys to help me!” shouts Kyo.

  “How’re you going to get home?! You wrecked your bike trying to save the day! You have no transportation now!” shouts the soldier, now up in Kyo’s face.

  Kyo looks back and finds again, his bike torn apart. Kyo looks at the bike in disgust before looking back at the soldier, who suddenly grabs on to Kyo’s arm tight.

  “Don’t try to be some superhero ok? It’s a good thing you saved that woman and her child, but your life is in danger as well. Leave it to the Assassin Enforcers and us to handle things now,” says the soldier.

  “C’mon, let go of me man!” shouts Kyo, attempting to break free of the soldier’s grasp.

  “Why are you doing this?! It’s too dangerous here, are you blind”-

  A crushing sound blasts through Kyo’s ears. He looks on with a frightened look, as a few blood spots splatter on his face. A bloodied robot hand pierces through the soldier’s chest right in front of him. Kyo is frozen in fear, feeling the soldier’s tight grip be quickly released. The bloodied hand pulls out of the soldier’s chest as the soldier falls to the ground, revealing a red solar bot before Kyo. Kyo quickly gasps and walks backward fast.

  Fuck…fuck…fuck…fuck…! thought a frightened Kyo. The faster he continued walking back, the faster the red solar bot approached him, with the blood of the soldier dripping off its left hand.

  Before Kyo could even continue, the solar bot quickly charges fast towards Kyo and has its bloodied hand around Kyo’s throat. Kyo is in shock at how fast the solar bot came towards him. The robot wastes no time gripping Kyo’s throat tighter, and even lifting his body off the ground. Kyo holds on to the solar bot’s arm that’s choking him and looks on at the bright red eye of the solar bot that’s going to choke him to death.

  …Fuck…! What’s wrong with me…! I could’ve just raced home to mom…and this would be over…! I had to act like superhero and head here to save people…! Now look at me…! With no strength left I will die…! By a mere fucking contraption…! Where the…hell are they…! thought Kyo. His eyes got blurry and gasped for air. His reckless actions have caused him to near death.

  However, Kyo’s eyes widen, as the solar bot’s hand was released from Kyo’s throat suddenly. Kyo could see again, and he was shocked to find Harumi behead the solar bot with her beam sword. Kyo falls to the ground looking up at the headless solar bot stand there with sparks flying out of its neck. Harumi quickly pushes the solar bot to the ground and darts her eyes at Kyo. They both stared at each other for a moment.

  “…You…! Harumi Watanabe…!” whispers a shocked Kyo.

  “…You…! Get out of here, now!” shouts Harumi, pulling on Kyo’s jacket and quickly pulling him up to his feet.

  Kyo looks at Harumi with sudden anger, which confuses Harumi. Kyo pushes Harumi’s hand off his jacket and suddenly runs past her, heading towards the deceased soldier. Harumi turns with a curious look at what Kyo was doing.

  What…the hell are you doing…? thought Harumi. Harumi’s curious look quickly turned to a more surprised look, witnessing Kyo pull the soldier’s Dynasty Morpher off his wrist, de-morphing the soldier. Kyo then quickly puts the Dynasty Morpher on his wrist and glares at Harumi.

  “…I’m joining the fight,” says Kyo with a serious look on his face. Harumi looks back at him with an irate look on her face now.

  …Is this guy nuts? thought Harumi, squinting her eyes in confusion.

  Chapter 13

  Your Choice

  “I’m ordering you to put that device right now!” shouts Harumi, “You are in no way capable of fighting!”

  “…Try and stop me,” replies Kyo, slapping the dynasty morpher onto his wrist. “Transform!”

  Kyo’s body from the neck down glows white, and Harumi looks on in shock, as she watches the white energy dragon from behind Kyo form, and quickly swallow him, transforming him into the Dynasty soldier battle armor. Kyo is amazed at what has happened to his appearance, opening and closing his hands, and feeling the smooth, yet metallic armor on his arms and chest.

  “…I feel…invincible in this…!” says Kyo, rubbing his chest.

  “How’d he know the voice command to transform…?” says a shocked Harumi.

  Suddenly, six solar bots crash land to the ground behind Kyo. Kyo quickly turns and is confronted by them.

  “Dammit…! Listen, you’re going to regret this and end up dying! You were lucky I saved you the first time!” shouts Harumi.

  “Please! Many people and your soldiers have already died thanks to you!” replies Kyo, which shocks Harumi. “I’ll do a better job than you and Arata could ever do!”

  “What did you just say?!” says an irate Harumi.

  Kyo abruptly flies to the sky, leaving Harumi with the solar bots that already come running her way quickly. Harumi appears to be focused at Kyo flying off but is irritated that she must fight more of the solar bots.

  Harumi quickly charges forward and quickly pulls out her beam swords, slashing every one of the solar bots with swift action. After they go down, Harumi presses a small button on her collar, which then forms a specialized full helmet on her, having bright green eyes.

  “All Dynasty Soldiers listen up. Dynasty Soldier #2441 killed in battle. A civilian has taken his wrist device and is trying to be a hero. Please try and stop him at all costs, and if he refuses to comply, shoot him down,” reports Harumi, walking towards a larger batch of solar bots that have just arrived before her, “…Pieces of shit…!”

  Harumi charges after the army of solar bots with both beam swords in hand, ready to annihilate them all.

  Kyo meanwhile lands to another section of Tojisa Ci
ty and finds many people in danger, running from the solar bots.

  …No soldiers in sight, as usual, thought Kyo.

  Kyo quickly flies down to the ground and stops the large mass of solar bots from getting to the crowd. Kyo yells in anger as he charges and pulls out his beam sword, engaging in combat.

  Kyo charges towards the enemies and swings his beam sword at the solar bots, successfully chopping them down one by one. It wasn’t long before Kyo successfully destroys about 10 solar bots, all by himself. As soon as Kyo has slain the last solar bot, Kyo turns around and finds many Dynasty soldiers assisting the people to safety. Kyo looks at the sight in disgust before flying off elsewhere once more…

  Elsewhere, in a safer part of Tojisa City, Shina has just parked her pink SUV beside the busy road. Shina gets out of the car and slams it, pulling out her phone and inputting the dials to call someone. She puts the phone to her ear and patiently waits for someone to pick up…but it goes to voicemail. Shina shakes her head and hangs up before Zack and Zeke get out of the car.

  “Any luck?” asks Zack.

  “I called the guy three times, and he’s not picking up,” replies a distressed Shina, putting her hand over her head while leaning against her car.

  “I tried texting him, but no luck as well,” says a worried Zeke.

  “Man…I hope he’s ok…I’m quite worried about him,” says Zack.

  “His house isn’t too far from the school. He can make it back in 10 minutes flat. It’s been almost an hour since the attack, and we cant reach him,” says Shina.

  “Don’t think too much about Shina. Let’s keep calling and head home,” says Zack, getting back into the car.

  Shina sighs and looks out into the distance where the city from afar looks to be in a terrible and frightening state. Shina shakes her head and opens the door, getting back into the car.

  Kyo meanwhile is doing an impressive job, slashing down solar bots left and right, saving many people. A few Dynasty soldiers notice Kyo doing quite a good job against the solar bots, but they have their sights on him deep.
