  “He sure is. He has a grudge against you guys for some reason, and I don’t know why, to be honest. He’s been like that since he was a young boy. Never liked Dynasty of Spheres at all. Especially of the Galaxus nation,” replies Mimiyomi.

  “…Yeah, times are indeed hard. We’re doing our best. Things will get better; I can promise that,” says Kimiko with a serious look on her face. Mimiyomi is surprised at Kimiko’s sudden turn of tone, but she responds with just a nod.

  “…So, how’s your fiancée doing?” says Mimiyomi with a sly smile.

  “…Well, I guess I can spill the beans a bit on the shit he’s been doing lately,” says Kimiko, rolling her eyes.

  “Tell me ALL. ABOUT IT,” replies Mimiyomi, holding Kimiko’s hand with a big smile on her face.

  Later, an angry Kyo is seated with his mother and Kimiko, wearing only a white T-shirt and black boxer briefs. Mimiyomi was shocked to see several bruises on Kyo’s cheeks, arms, and legs.

  “…Kyo, you took quite a beating in the octagon huh?” says a shocked Mimiyomi, looking up and down at Kyo.

  “…Can we begin this?” says Kyo, taking a bite out of his apple pie.

  “…Ok, I’ll pull it out all on the table,” says Kimiko with a smirk, “Mimiyomi, have you heard of the blue-suited warrior named Nexus everyone is talking about lately?”

  “…Umm, yes, I have,” replies Mimiyomi, “Everyone at my job is talking about it.”

  “…Well, let me tell you now that the blue-suited warrior is none other than your own son here,” announces Kimiko.

  “WHAT?!” says a shocked Mimiyomi, turning towards Kyo, who’s not fazed by his mother’s reaction, sitting there calmly, and slowly chewing on his apple pie.

  “Kyo…show the device,” orders a serious Kimiko.

  Kyo slowly swallows his apple pie while angrily staring at Kimiko. Kimiko raises her left eyebrow, and Kyo soon submits, slamming the Nexus morpher onto the table while slouching himself on the wooden chair.

  “…Oh, my goodness, is that why you’re bruised? You’ve been out there fighting those robot aliens?” questions Mimiyomi.

  “…Yes, mom. I’m the Nexus guy,” replies an irritated Kyo.

  “Listen Kyo. What you did that day was very brave of you, and I personally saw nothing wrong with that,” says Kimiko.

  “…So why are Harumi and Arata hunting me down?” asks Kyo.

  “Well…Motakai Noshino does really want you, but for good reasons,” replies Kimiko.

  “What do you need Kyo for, might I ask?” asks Mimiyomi.

  “Mimiyomi, we do not know where Kyo received such a morpher, but through watching his actions, it’s clear it’s a very powerful weapon he has at his disposal. We want Kyo to become the 3rd and final member of the Assassin Enforcers,” replies Kimiko, “Again, as to how you got that morpher Kyo, is beyond me, but this is something you must tell us. Other than that, it’d be great if you could come join the Dynasty of Spheres and aid us by taking down our enemy.”

  “Not happening,” retorts Kyo, taking another bite of his apple pie.

  “…Why not?” asks Kimiko with a serious look towards Kyo.

  “…My father” replies Kyo.

  “…Your father…?” questions Kimiko.

  “…Do you know the fellow Dynasty Soldier, Touya Hayashi?” asks Kyo.

  “…I’m afraid I do not. Maybe he served before I was crowned Head Operator,” Replies Kimiko.

  “Whatever. My father served as a soldier for the Dynasty of Spheres when I was a child,” Says Kyo.

  “Oh dear…” whispers Mimiyomi, looking away in sadness. Kimiko caught Mimiyomi’s sudden change of emotion and looked back at Kyo with an attentive look.

  “…My father was killed in action on a mission Arata Noshino’s father, Derecka Noshino, wanted no part in. Had Derecka been there, my father might’ve been with us right now, eating apple pie, which was his favorite dessert…!” says Kyo, as a tear rolled down his face. Kimiko sat there silent with her two fingers pressed to her lips, closely watching an emotional and angry Kyo.

  “…I guess Derecka wanted an “off” day, and let the soldiers do the mission. And for the result, my father died! When Derecka Noshino was questioned on why he wouldn’t gear up to go out there and fight to aid his soldiers greatly, he had to say only that he tried but the fucking Dynasty officials wouldn’t let him! 1st strike from me! Derecka should’ve ignored the orders and go fight for his men! The 2nd Strike from me is when Dynasty became ignorant towards Derecka Noshino, the strongest soldier, to save his men and women! He says he wanted to help, but Dynasty didn’t allow it! He was the captain of those men and women, so how the fuck could he not go out there and fight! The 3rd and final strike from me, to never be aligned with you people, was Harumi Watanabe, your little sister, and Arata Noshino, Derecka’s 2nd son. Countless, countless times, they’ve faced missions that brought them to the brink of death. Taking on massive invasions, alone! Countless times, they’ve denied assistance from the Calamita Team, Giga, and S.E.A.L.! Those 3 super soldier teams would’ve arrived in seconds to help, but those two think they’re so highly of themselves that only 2 can do it! That day when the aliens invaded Tojisa and Kamati, I knew those two would be in danger again and would deny even their own soldiers, for assistance. I saw multiple people being attacked, so I took it upon myself to help out. I saw no soldiers in sight in some areas, and I even crashed my bike into a solar bot, and I took it down. All to save a young woman and her child. Years spent to save up money to get that bike, totaled to save someone’s life,” explains Kyo.

  “…So that’s what happened to the bike…” says a shocked Mimiyomi.

  “Next thing I know, the soldiers arrive and want me to leave. I’m not going to do that! Why? Well, maybe I wanted to try to help them and get other people to safety, despite how fucking dangerous that was. They then try to take me by force, and then the soldier holding me down is killed by yet another solar bot that’s arrived. No soldiers in sight. I get almost choked to death by the solar bot before Harumi arrives, saving my life. I should’ve thanked her for that, but whatever. She then asks me to leave, but I see my opportunity to really help the people because I feel Harumi, Arata, and even some of the soldiers aren’t doing their jobs properly. I stole the killed Dynasty soldier’s morpher and started helping people out,” explains Kyo.

  “Hmm…” says Kimiko, listening deeply to Kyo’s story.

  “I go around saving people and knocking down tons of Solar bots! I think the soldiers can't do anything to me, right? I am helping them out, right? Next thing I remember, I get surrounded by them, and as I was prepared to fight your own soldiers, something hits me, and I see total darkness. I’m sure someone hit me from behind, now I’m not sure who exactly, but I’m positive it was either Harumi or Arata,” says Kyo, “I wake up, and I…end up seeing both Harumi and Arata being beaten down badly. Maybe if they had their soldiers help them, they might’ve not been in that predicament, but they want to be saviors of this huge land, so that’s on them. If it weren’t for me, those two would be dead right now. If Giga were in a bad predicament, they’d call for assistance from S.E.A.L., and they’ll help out. If Calamita needed Giga or S.E.A.L. to help them out, they’d be there quickly. Why can’t those two accept assistance from teams up to their strength level, or even higher when we have large invasions like this? Those two will bring Galaxus down to a torn down city war zone if this continues. People are too stubborn to see it, but I see it. I see it clearly. Whoever was the person that gave me this morpher, must’ve been a god,”

  “…God, you say?” says a curious Kimiko.

  “Listen, I saved those two. If only that man had come sooner. So, in all, no, I’m not going to join a team that lacks in a helping hand from others. They even have restrictions on how many soldiers they want to be deployed from time to time,” replies Kyo.

  “...How do you know all this, Kyo?” asks Kimiko, which results in Kyo laughing at her question.<

  “…How do I know all this? I keep track of everything and not be blinded by entertainment news my generation is hooked on these days. I appreciate your offer, but I won’t be joining the Dynasty of Spheres, and I sure as hell won’t be joining the Assassin Enforcers. I won’t attack your soldiers, but Harumi made a big threat to take me to you guys by force, so I have to watch out for your sister. Who knows what’ll happen next time we meet,” replies Kyo.

  “…OK, so what I can gather from all this, is that you do not want to align with us because Dynasty allegedly refused to let Derecka fight alongside his soldiers in a high-risk mission, despite the FACT, that he received grave injuries from a past mission he had to do in Atlas,” replies Kimiko, which makes Kyo look away in anger from Kimiko’s response.

  “Another thing I want to add. The reason Harumi and Arata do not want the soldiers to aid them most of the time because their lives are on the line if they help them. Too many times they’ve tried to help those two, and it resulted in their lives being taken away in the process. The both of them made sure to not let those soldiers get in their way in tougher missions, and only let them focus on smaller threats or aiding people to safety. Those two are brave ones, you can’t deny that. You have to give them respect. You saw it first hand,” explains Kimiko, “Honestly Kyo, I don’t…understand, why you’re so angry about those two. If you join them, you can know more about them. They’re way different than what you perceive them to be.”

  “…I choose not to,” replies Kyo. “I’m going to protect Galaxus way better in a faster and safer way than you guys ever will. One is better than two.”

  “Oh really?” says Kimiko with a smirk, sitting back in her chair.

  “Yup,” replies Kyo, taking another bite out of his apple pie, finishing his plate while staring at Kimiko.

  “…OK fine. You’ve made your decision. I’ll end the hunt for you, so whatever happens, happens. But know this Kyo,” says Kimiko, getting up off of her chair, “…Being alone to save this big land can do little, but with the help of others, you can do much bigger, and better things. Mimiyomi, I think you very much for your husband’s favorite meal. It was a lovely one.”

  “…Thank you…” says Mimiyomi, wiping tears away from her eyes.

  “…Kyo, I thank you very much for the talk. I learned a lot about you,” says Kimiko with a smile, before walking towards the door and heading out. When Kimiko shuts the door, the house is silent. You could hear only the sounds of distance dogs barking and the sniffles from Mimiyomi. Mimiyomi suddenly gets up and slowly heads to the kitchen.

  “…Kyo, you should really join,” says Mimiyomi.

  “…If they really need assistance from me, then I’ll be that.” replies Kyo, grabbing and eating another slice of apple pie, “…Hell, in irony, I really am…”

  Later, we approach the deep night, with a full moon out. On top of a building, are a young man and woman. The young man had long brown spiky hair and brown eyes. He wore a long brown jacket with his right sleeve rolled up. Under this coat, he wore a white undershirt, long black pants, and black shoes. The young woman had short silver hair and brown eyes. She had on a long silver coat, long blue jeans, silver short heels, and a platinum necklace. They both had very similar facial features as if they were twins. They both looked down at the beautifully lit city. Behind the two, was the same dark hooded man who gave Kyo the Nexus morpher.

  “…You two know what you have to do…” says the hooded man, before turning around and walking away vanishing into thin air.

  “…Michelle…you ready for this?” says the young with a smirk.

  “…I’m ready Kazuma. It’s time to have some fun here at last…” replies Michelle with a more sinister smirk on her face…

  Chapter 20

  Attack

  Two weeks have passed since the events that have unfolded in the cities of Kamati and Tojisa of the Galaxus Region. During these two weeks, attacks from the Solars have abruptly stopped, and signs of the green humanoid were minimal. Peace arrived at Galaxus for a moment. During these two weeks, Shou Tadao, president of Tadao Industries, a private industry dedicated to rebuilding torn buildings and cities, has finally built a small triangular device named ‘Constructor.’ The Constructor was designed and created from Shou, with the ability to reconstruct whole cities. With the push of a button, cities can come to life. Shou set two of the Constructor devices during the destroyed areas of Tojisa and Kamati. Moments after placing the Constructor device down, those two torn down areas rebuilt themselves. It was like seeing invisible workers build a city back to its normal roots, at an alarming speed. No one knew how such a thing was possible, but in short time, Kamati and Tojisa City were 100% back to its originality. It was quite a historical event for all of Galaxus and Tadao Industries. It was a bright sign that if any catastrophic event occurred where whole cities would be destroyed, Shou and his team had the tools to bring those torn buildings back to life. Shou reported it takes time to mass produce the Constructor by how time-consuming it is, but it is a task that is possible accomplish…

  Today, a grand event is taking place in a city rather larger than both Kamati and Tojisa City, named Galaxy City. Its scenery was New York and Tokyo combined. Galaxy City is the mainland capital of Galaxus, the largest city of all of Galaxus, and a very expensive city to reside in. Most people of high salary reside in this city. Galaxy Tower, which stands at 75 meters tall, is used to host major events. Today the Galaxy Tower has hosted a grand event for the success of Tadao Industries for successfully rebuilding Tojisa and Kamati City with the Constructor device.

  Kimiko and Harumi Watanabe, and Arata and Motakai Noshino were among many, who were invited to this event…

  [Galaxy Tower/ Dining Room]

  We arrive at the grand event for Tadao Industries. Inside were many people, including Kimiko and Motakai, and Arata and Harumi. They all were dressed in luxurious clothing and seated at a large table with a nice display of salad in front. The dining room had quite the magnificent display, with a large stage in front of everyone. A woman dressed in all red with long black hair and green eyes comes up to the podium to speak.

  “Hello everyone, and welcome to the Tadao Industry Celebration Party. We thank the members of Galaxy Tower for creating this atmosphere and party for us. My name is Wanda Tadao, wife of the man who’s on the fast track to becoming the greatest engineer of all time. It is with my great pleasure to introduce my husband, and leader of Tadao Industries, Shou Tadao!” announces Wanda.

  Everyone in the room roared with applause. They all looked and found Shou Tadao get up from his chair and head over to the stage. As he heads up, he gives his wife a kiss on the lips and goes up to the podium as his wife steps down. Shou had short spiky purple hair and green eyes, dressed in an all purple suit, with a gold Rolex on his left wrist, and a gold diamond necklace. He stood there in front of everyone silently, closely watching everyone in the room applaud for him before he nodded with a smile.

  “…I thank you all for coming,” says Shou. Everyone in response gives him louder applause before he motions his hand for them to quiet down. Upon doing so, they quiet down, letting Shou have the floor.

  “…Now, how should I begin? Well…about 2-3 weeks ago I get a call from the President of Galaxus, saying that Kamati and Tojisa City are in a messed-up situation. It was basically up to me and my men to try and rebuild it. Now I’m looking at the photos of the wreckage, and think to myself, wow, there’s absolutely no way my men can rebuild this. It was like a small asteroid hit these two cities! With the amount of time to rebuild these cities, it’d take a long time. But, it was also the right time for me to introduce the newest creation I’ve…well, created. I named it the Constructor, since that it was built to do. Basically, the Constructor device is like creating virtual reality to life. To put it more into context, imagine that you want to create your own city. We create the blueprints to this city, create a
3D diagram of it, transmit it to the constructor device, and voila, all the blueprints on how your city should look are now in the constructor device. There is a small black button on the bottom of this clear, pyramid device. You press the button, toss it to where you want the city created, and haul ass because as soon as it hits the ground, the process has begun!” Explained Shou.

  “Incredible…I never could imagine something to this scale was possible…” Motakai says softly to Kimiko.

  “Yeah…I wonder if we can also create new lands. Maybe we can create our own little island~” says Kimiko, winking at Motakai.

  …As if we’ve got the money… thought Motakai, nervously smiling.

  “…You thought of something I don’t like,” says Kimiko, squinting her eyes at Motakai.

  “Didn’t think anything babe,” replies Motakai with a shrug.

  “Next thing you know, virtual reality comes to life before our very own eyes, and voila! Kamati and Tojisa are brand new again!” says Shou. Everyone in the room responds with applause, as Shou bows before them, before motioning his hand for them to quiet down once more.

  “…Now, if you don’t mind, I’d now like to explain the history of how I started all of this,” says Shou, “It all started when I got cheated on by my ex-wife…”

  [Galaxy City]

  As Shou continues his speech from inside the Galaxy Tower, the people of Galaxy City are out and about on a beautiful sunny day. On top of one the many tall building structures, however, are two people; The same two people with the mysterious hooded man previously, Kazuma and Michelle. They both stood at the edge of the building gazing at the beautiful horizon of the city as the wind gently blew through their hair. Michelle looks below at the people walking about and scoffs before walking back off the edge and turning around.

  “I’m bored Kazuma. It’s time we get some action already, eh?” says Michelle, stretching her arms.
