"Is he really fine?" she asked with a shaking voice. "Don't lie to me either. I want to know."

"There were a few scary moments," Havoc admitted, his smile slipping for a moment. "They passed, luckily. Sean was with you the whole time, too."

  Sean.

"Where is he?" Dana asked, wondering if she was ever going to be able to stop talking in questions.

"Sleeping, as he should," Chase said with a smirk. "After all this, it's well-deserved. He was very brave before, protecting you. He has a Gargon spirit."

Dana didn't know what to say. She was taken back to the moment when the Rabor warrior had grabbed Sean out of her arms and she hadn't found the gun in time to take a safe shot. She would never have dared to fire upon the warrior with her son in his grip, but Chase was the best shot in the galaxy. He hadn't missed. Instead, her fated had saved her son, taking a heavy blow in return for that.

It told her that her concerns about the warlords not loving Sean as much as their biological son had been for nothing.

"You saved his life," she told Chase. "I remember that much. Thank you."

The warlord gave her a little nod, a soft smile on his face.

"It would be pretty poor of me to accept your thanks over something like this. Of course I did. He is your son, which makes him ours as well if you'll have it that way."

This time, Dana was too late to bite back the tears and a whimper slipped over her lips. The warlords were on their feet at once, sitting on the bed to take her hands. She didn't dare to look up for a long moment.

The magical, eternal image of home stood before her eyes, right in her reach. If she just extended her hand a little, she could wrap her fingers around the concept. Not just a house, not just a place to lay down and call her own. People too, and safety. Everything that was supposed to await a person at the end of their journey.

"I want to say something," she said very quietly.

"I think we need to say something first," Chase cut in, making Dana look at her fated at last.

The warlords were looking at each other like they were making the last agreements on something huge. It was a little daunting. Then Havoc nodded and Chase turned to her.

"We argued before," he started, smiling a little.

"You always argue," Dana pointed out.

"We know," Chase replied, his golden blue eyes shining, gorgeous and sincere.

She felt a tinge of lust go through her, only it was completely overshadowed by a sense of being in love for the first time after so many years.

"Havoc thought he should be the one to talk, since he's better with words. And I said I needed to practice because I rarely tell people how I really feel."

That was sudden. Dana leaned back, looking at him with wide eyes, waiting. Her hands were constantly reaching for something, wanting to caress her big pregnant belly, only it was gone. She thought of her baby. Perhaps it was better that her fateds were distracting her, since she couldn't imagine sitting alone and waiting with bated breath.

It crossed her mind that maybe they were distracting themselves as well.

"We know now why you left," Chase said. "At least we think we do. Your friend Rebecca was very adamant about that."

"Rebecca?" Dana asked at once, a big smile on her face. "She lived?"

"Yes," Havoc said. "They all lived. The other woman as well. We can deal with her later."

That was fair. Dana wanted nothing to do with Isabel at the moment, even if she was glad Isabel had not made her a murderer.

"We should have taken better care of you," Chase went on, his fingers slowly caressing hers as he spoke. "You were alone and afraid and since we couldn't bear the thought of losing you, we pulled away instead of reassuring you – don't say anything, that was the way it was – and now there isn't much we can do.

“There is no way for us to take it all back or convince you we weren't that bad. So Havoc and I thought of something else."

"Yes?" Dana urged him on, her pulse beating so loudly it felt like she was about to have a heart attack.

"I love you," Chase said, looking right in her eyes and Dana saw the depth of emotion in his golden blues. "I never want to lose you again, never even want to think of losing you, but that is the way of life. We don't have guarantees or safeguards, not even for our hearts. So I want to give you mine without any attachments, hoping my love alone is enough."

"What he means to say is," Havoc interrupted, rolling his eyes a little, making Dana smile in return. "Is that we will make a promise to you. We sit here now, not knowing how our baby is doing or what the future brings. This might not be the happy beginning for us. We won't know until the healers walk through that door and tell us.

“All Chase and I agree on is that we want you, forever. I love you, Dana. No matter what happens today or tomorrow or in ten years, it's you I want. For all of us to be a family."

She was shaking when her fated were done talking. The image of home was in her hand, grasped so tightly Dana thought she might break the illusion if she even moved a little.

"I love you too," she whispered, giving them the only possible answer to what they had told her.

She couldn't say the rest. There had been so many foolish fears on her part that in the end, Dana was just grateful that fate or gods or whoever ruled her life had forced her hand. Opening her heart up for love again, accepting when it was offered to her freely was the best decision she'd ever made and after the nightmare was over, Dana couldn't believe it had even been a choice.

The warlords leaned in to kiss her, gently and without any trace of hot lust, simply love shared between them.

”Can I say something now?" Dana asked.

They nodded mutely, waiting as she had.

"I have always wanted a big family. I don't care how risky it is. For a baby, nothing is too dangerous."

She could see the light burning brightly in their eyes, the way they could hardly contain their excitement.

"So you can stop worrying about me," Dana said, gesturing to them both. "I know now. We all passed the test.

“We can wait together now. It's our baby and now that we've stopping fighting each other, we can start fighting for our children, as we should."

They kissed her again, strongly and forcefully, almost hurting this time. Dana didn't mind one bit. Her body was still tender and needed peace, but in that moment, she couldn't have cared less. She had her fateds with her at last and that was the only thing that mattered.

They all looked up when the door opened.

Dana let out a small whimper.

From the way the warlords had put it, she'd expected the healer to come and deliver them the news. That turned out not to be the case. The woman standing at the door had a bundle in her arms, cooing quietly. She extended her hands without realizing she was doing that.

Havoc and Chase sat to either side of her, luckily out of their massive armors for the time being and watched as their son was delivered into her arms.

The boy was so small in Dana's embrace that she didn't even dare to breathe. Judging by the way Havoc and Chase leaned in, their eyes wide, they didn't either. The tiny life wrapped in the blanket looked up at them with eyes as blue as Dana's. A small hand was visible between the folds and Dana gripped it, gasping when the boy smiled at her touch.

In that moment, Dana had to wonder what had they been doing for nine months? If a moment like that was at stake, where did all the fears and pain come from?

  "He is gorgeous," she whispered.

"Thank the gods he got your looks, not Havoc's," Chase said quietly and Dana burst out laughing.

It was so good to laugh again. The baby in her arms made tiny, adorable noises as Dana rocked, tears falling from her eyes.

"Did something happen?" Chase asked, worried. "I promise, I will try to get along with Havoc."

"No, no," Dana said, wiping her eyes. "These aren't tears of sadness, they're tears of joy. I never believed I would find myself in a moment like this again
. The first time I saw Sean, life was perfect, or so I thought. He certainly was, just his father wasn't. Now, I know what true happiness feels like. Everything is perfect this time and will be for all of us."

She decided to deal with the fact that the planet was being torn apart around them later.

As she cradled their son in her arms, Dana and her fateds looked at the explosions outside until she asked:

"Seriously, shouldn't you be out there, helping?"

Laughing, the warlords kissed them both, making her promise she wouldn't name the boy without them and left to drive the League away from their world for good.

When Dana was left alone, she added in her mind: Once the League is gone, we can all go home.

  30

  Dana

  A few weeks later…

  And home it was.

All of Dana's fears had washed away with the birth of her son, Rhys, except for one tiny nagging doubt. She dreaded returning to Havoc's villa a little bit, a few weeks later when every trace of the League had been driven away. The place had been the setting for everything that had been wrong between her and her fated. With Rhys in her arms, wrapped in Chase's cloak, Dana stepped out of the carrier ship, and...

She almost whimpered in delight and relief.

The villa looked as incredibly beautiful as ever and like cleaning up the traces of war had also taken her dark hours with it, Dana could barely believe she had ever felt unhappy in that place.

She put it down to Havoc and Chase by her side, beaming like all new fathers did anywhere in the galaxy. Not to mention Sean who had started to act as mature as possible to be a good big brother to the baby, not a hint of jealousy in him.

In fact, it was hard for Dana to drag Sean away from the baby. He was just so careful and attentive, she couldn't deny him the joy of taking care of him. And after seeing how Sean treated the newborn like he was made of glass, the warlords hadn't said a single word about not trusting him with their firstborn child.

They made it their business to show they trusted him completely, leaving Rhys alone with Sean for a short while to prove to her they'd changed their minds.

That left Dana with time she didn't think she'd have. Her first order of business was to convert her room to their room now that the bond was real and true. She no longer wanted to spend a single night without her fateds sleeping next to her, although the bed had to be custom made for all three of them.

"You might as well have turned the entire room into a bed," Chase said, seeing it for the first time. "It's almost wall-to-wall. I get that Havoc's a big guy..."

Dana grinned, absolutely loving the gigantic monstrosity that they were now all going to sleep in. Chase was correct – it took up almost all of the room, which was entirely fine with her.

"I wanted to make sure it was big enough," she told her fated. "And sturdy enough. I thought you wouldn't object to testing out how much fun we can have with this."

The warlords were quiet for a moment. Then:

"Yes, I see what you meant," Chase said, already dressing out of his armor. "It's perfect."

"Definitely has room for activities," Havoc agreed, not missing a beat as he joined his rival in a competition to see which one of them could get out of their war gear faster.

Dana has come prepared for that situation, dressed in a loosely fitting blue dress that she simply pulled over her head now, revealing to the warlords that she'd also neglected to wear anything underneath.

Hearing them both pause for a second as she climbed on the bed, naked, sent a pleasant shiver down her spine. When Dana turned, spreading her legs invitingly, a smirk on her lips, she would have believed her fateds were petrified to the spot. Only their lips curled into feral, hungry smiles as they resumed undressing with vigor that showed no care for their precious armors.

"I don't think you understand what you've done," Chase said, desire playing in his deep voice. "Beds are supposed to be slept in. You've practically made sure we don't leave this room for days."

Dana smiled when they climbed on the bed with her, the frame holding all of them easily.

"I'm sure that we'll be able to sleep at some point," she teased softly when their hands began moving up her legs and the ending of her sentence turned into a moan.

"Do you know?" Havoc asked, pushing her legs even further apart to lay down between them.

"Oh yes – yes!" Dana whimpered. "You just, ah, have to exhaust me!"

The looks on the faces of her fateds said they had no problem with that. Dana absolutely loved it, having two men who took every word and tease out of her mouth as a challenge. She gasped when Havoc pressed his tongue against her pussy, circling it around on her sensitive sex, already wet.

In her heart, Dana knew Chase had been right again – it was going to be tough to sleep in their bed when two of the most gorgeous men alive laid beside her.

Chase laid down to pull her into a deep, hard kiss that left Dana breathless. Her fingers were digging into the sheets as Havoc licked her thoroughly as though she tasted better than anything else. The soft grunts she heard from him were proof of that. Dana spread her legs as wide as possible, lifting them up a little to give Havoc the best angle. She almost screamed when he spread her pussy lips apart with his fingers and pushed his tongue inside her. Feeling it reach into her made Dana tremble in Chase's arms, who chuckled softly against her mouth.

"If you propose such tasks for us, you need to learn how to resist us," he said playfully, his hands playing with her breasts as Havoc added two fingers into her, scissoring them in her pussy with maddening slowness.

"Impossible," Dana breathed, her eyes squeezed shut not to let herself drift too far too fast.

She wanted to feel and experience every second of it.

"But I'll try," she added quickly, forcing herself to concentrate, the desire to make her fated quiver in lust just as badly as she did. "I have a few tricks too. I can strip slowly and sensually for you, not let you touch me until you're mad with desire..."

Both her fateds were growling, looking at her now with warning gazes. It was exactly what she'd wanted.

"Maybe I'll just start walking around the villa in that dress on the floor. No one would know I was naked beneath it. You would."

That turned out to be too much for the warlords. With a savage snarl, Havoc pulled her towards him, pressing his rock hard cock against her entrance. Dana gasped in an overload of sensations as he carefully entered her, aware that the preparation hadn't been long. She mewled in desire, accepting Chase's kisses as Havoc thrust himself fully inside, making her scream into the kiss.

"Break me," she whispered, "or the bed."

The dark glint in Havoc's eyes said that he was delighted to do either. The warlord began slamming into her with sharp, hard thrusts, knocking the breath out of Dana's lungs with every one of them. Her left hand was gripping Chase's, halfway in his lap, not taking her eyes off Havoc for a second.

The sight of the big warrior pounding into her with quickening pace was the sexiest thing she'd ever seen. Dana could see the powerful muscles flexing as Havoc held her hips firmly, making sure to hit the core of her pleasure with every movement. He was already breathing heavily, his wide chest heaving, his huge cock throbbing inside her.

Dana herself wasn't faring any better. It felt like she was being split open by the wondrously large cock inside her. She screamed, wrapping her legs around Havoc's waist, pulling the warlord deeper, needing to be filled by him completely. The bed creaked underneath her, making Dana actually a little worried for it and for herself. It seemed Havoc had taken her plea literally since every nerve ending in her body shivered, flashes of heat running all over her as her orgasm built with merciless speed.

Chase reached out to grope her breasts and Dana moaned when he teased her nipple. She was quickly falling into the depths of pleasure, way past the point of caring who heard her, screaming Havoc's name. The ecstasy that came from being fucked that hard was overwhelming her, her pu
ssy struggling to take all of Havoc and Dana herself loving it.

"I'm gonna... I – Havoc!" she screamed when her orgasm took her.

The rush of pleasure was so sudden it nearly knocked her out. Dana arched off Chase's lap, gasping wildly for air as Havoc seemed to pick up the pace even more, pounding his own orgasm into her as her broken body shuddered in his grip. She felt wave after wave of pure pleasure crash over her before she finally fell back into Chase's arms, spent and happy and in pieces like she'd asked.

Havoc pulled out of her and the two of them gave Dana a second to rest and relax. Then she realized that in her desire to be fucked she'd forgotten there were two of them.

When Chase slipped out from under her, Dana's eyes flew wide. Her body was still tingling from her last orgasm, she wasn't sure she could bear another one so soon – yet not a word of protest rose to her lips.

Chase flipped her over and Dana felt her legs being spread again, Havoc's hot seed still filling her insides. She screamed when Chase thrust in to the hilt, making Dana dig her fingers into the sheets again. Gasping, she breathed into the covers of the bed when Chase began to move, giving her pussy only a moment to adjust to another huge cock.

"Want me to take it slow?" Chase teased her, as he did, keeping his thrusts shallow on purpose.

"No, damn you!" Dana cried out, "Fuck me! Please..."

With a chuckle, Chase obeyed, but Dana had heard the strain in his voice. On another day, she'd call her fated's bluff. It was clear Chase wanted her as much as she ached for him. She felt it from the first thrust that made the bed shake under her, making her feel like Chase was rocking her pussy apart. She cried out, her screams muffled by the bed as Chase slammed into her, harder and faster than before.

The pleasure was blinding, even after the orgasm Havoc had already given her. Dana's sensitive flesh shivered around Chase's cock, already starting to climb to another high. There was nothing else for her to do but hold on and try not to pass out.

The angle of the fucking wasn't pleasing Chase, clearly, since the warlord pulled back a little, a strong arm under her pulling Dana along. She ended up on all fours before Chase. The next scream out of her mouth had to be heard in the villa because he didn't show her an inch of mercy, pounding into her willing pussy.
