Sometimes, Forever (Sometimes Moments #2)

Madilynne’s thumbs brushed against the picture of seventeen-year-old Graham leaning down to kiss her. Their fingers entwined as Madilynne had wrapped her other hand around his elbow. “I can’t believe Callum took this,” she whispered, tears filled her eyes. Callum might have been Peyton’s first love, but for Madilynne, he was her friend, too.
“You know …”
She brushed the tears from her face and her eyes found her best friend. “Yeah?”
“After all these years, I still don’t know how you and Graham came together,” Peyton pointed out and then looped her arm through hers.
“It’s a long story,” Madilynne said.
“My husband’s putting my son to sleep and Jenny’s at the desk. I have time, Mads. I think it’s time you finally tell me how you fell in love with Graham Scott.”
The butterflies became existent in her stomach and fluttered upwards and settled in her heart. The warmth was similar to when she was seventeen. The question was one she had asked herself many times before.
How did the mayor’s daughter fall in love with lavender boy?
COMING SOON
EARLY 2017.
I wrote this book in six days. That’s how in love I was with the idea of Cooper’s story. I had written a bonus chapter about the day he met Peyton, and from there on his story never left me. You all knew his story because of his letter in the epilogue of Sometimes Moments. But his letter wasn’t enough for me. There was more. His love for Peyton was special and I felt compelled to write it.
He deserved his story.
And Peyton deserved a beautiful ending.
First and foremost, as always, thank you to my family who have stood by me and supported my dreams. Each book that I write, you are all there with me. I love you all. I am so thankful to have you.
Jaycee Ford, for wanting this book. For making sure this book happened. She was the one who told me to write it. So really, we all have to thank her. Thank you for being the first to read Cooper’s story, and for loving it. Thank you for not only being one of my best beta readers, but also my best friend in this crazy world we live in.
Alex Rosa, for being a big supporter and best friend. I couldn’t imagine doing all of this without you! Do you remember that time we were driving back from Disneyland and I fell asleep, exhausted, on the way back to Carlsbad? Disneyland with you is one of my forever moments.
Danielle Woodside, thank you for walking into my life and planting your feet, and never leaving. Seriously, how do I get rid of you? I’m kidding! I don’t ever want you to go. You’re my compass. You point me in the right direction when all I want to do is run away and be sad. You remind me of how special I am. Thank you for loving my books.
Jenny Sims, the first time I ever got to work with you was with Sometimes Moments. You were my proofreader, and now you’re my editor! I adore you and love you for not only your friendship, but also for your hard work in making my books make sense. Thank you for every book of mine you edit. I can honestly say that I cannot do any of this without you.
Najla Qamber of Najla Qamber Designs, you make my books so beautiful. Your talent is priceless. I made one of the best decisions I have ever made in emailing you for that first cover. This is one of my favourite covers you’ve done for me. Thank you for your friendship and your hard work.
Emily and her team at E.M. Tippetts Designs. You always make my books look beautiful! Thank you for always being there, ready to make my books amazing on the inside.
Chloe Meyer, thank you for all the talks and being a great assistant. Your love for Sometimes Moments brought us together.
Erin Spencer of Southern Belle Book Blog and Southern Belle Promotions, thank you for hosting the surprise cover reveal for Sometimes, Forever. It is a privilege to call you my friend. I love you!
Lauren McKellar! Your friendship is beautiful. Thank you for your encouragement and belief. Thank you for the messages. Thank you for being there and supporting me. We’re best friends forever now.
To the many authors I have met along the way, thank you for your kindness and for being my inspiration.
To all the wonderful blogs including (just to name a few) Natasha is a Book Junkie, Aestas Book Blog, Book Lit Love, Books to Breathe, Confessions from Romaholics and Book Lit Love, that have supported me and my books, thank you. I wouldn’t have the recognition that I do without you all. Thank you for your hard work.
Also, Kara from Give Me Books, thank you for being one of the first bloggers to review Sometimes, Forever. Thank you for loving these stories and finding the beauty in them. <3
To my wonderful readers, I am nothing without you. Thank you for your love, support and belief in me. I am grateful and honoured to have you all read my books. You took a chance on me, and for that, I can never say thank you enough.
To those who were moved by Sometimes Moments and live life with the concept in their hearts. Thank you. You saw the beauty in this one concept that I created. Thank you for believing in them, for appreciating the sometimes moments that you have lived and will live. Sometimes moments are your forever moments. Never forget that.
And to you, thank you for letting Peyton, Callum, and Cooper be part of your lives.
Even as a sometimes.
I hope they stay with you forever.
Cooper and Peyton will see you again in Sometimes. Honestly? Always.
(And yes, Callum will be there, too.)
Until then,
Love,
Len
