Lois floated on those residual endorphins and the soothing water in the tub. Trevor sat behind her, holding her loosely as she relaxed in boneless splendor. He had carefully washed her with a gentle soap before rinsing her off and emptying the tub, keeping her warm with his own body heat while it filled again. Jonathon said it was okay, but she’d felt him accept it, too. There wasn’t room for him, too, even in this enormous tub, but she knew he wasn’t far. She felt that as well.

“Jon says you’re the best nanny ever.”

  “Umm. Nathan makes it easy.”

  “When he’s not thumping Jon?”

She laughed. “Jon managed him. Nathan’s a bit confused and no wonder. But we all love him.”

  “You like kids.”

  “I do. And you?”

“I never really thought about it. I’m an only child, and I grew up in rural Minnesota. There wasn’t a lot of opportunity to interact with other kids aside from school, and I was homeschooled until high school.”

“You aren’t a member of a weird religious sect, are you?”

“Nope. Mom was trained as a teacher, and it made sense being so far from town, especially in the winter. But she passed when I was fourteen.”

Lois stroked his hand to empathize, the one now idly plumping her breast. She could feel his cock swelling in the small of her back and despite her discomfort, thought about it for a moment.

“No, Lois. We need to get you taken care of. You’ll be sore.”

“I am, Trevor. Do I call you Master, too?”

He chuckled, and the water sloshed up to the rim. “Not here, honey. Scenes, kink in the bedroom, in the club proper. Like Jon, I expect.”

  “What do you do?”

“I partner in a security firm with Cameron Fraser. You know his sub, Olivia. We both went to the same school and hit it off. Both Doms. I’m mostly in the office, but sometimes there’s stuff in the field when we’re busy.”

“So you live in Austin but travel some.”

“Some. I’ll take you with, if you want to get out of the city sometimes.”

“I’ve only ever lived in two places,” she confided. “I think I’d like to travel, and I know I’d like to see the countryside.”

“We gotta do some talking, honey. Jon has a head start on me.”

She was startled. The situation had taken on a whole new aspect. She wanted a repeat of tonight, today, whatever time it was, but Trevor was talking more than a repeat. And he wouldn’t be talking behind Jonathon’s back.

  “Jon!”

She flinched at his raised voice, and he instantly pulled her close. “It’s fine, Lois. Jon has a few things I need.”

Jonathon loomed in the doorway, looking quite pleased with himself. She knew that look. The children she cared for got that way when they thought they’d pulled one over on the grown-ups. He offered a hand. She took it, and he lifted her with ease to stand her on the bath mat. He wrapped a big towel around her while Trevor climbed out and dried off.

“The stuff’s by the bed. I’ll shower and join you later.”

Lois stared at his muscled ass disappearing into the frosted shower enclave. What was up? Trevor shrugged and took her elbow. He insisted she lie facedown on the bed, and she felt him spread her buttocks apart with care. It was a tad disconcerting despite all they’d done together.

“He said you were fine and you are.”

“I can’t say as I agree.” She spoke while she tried to figure out what had just happened.

“You’re a bit bruised and swollen, but that’s to be expected. Jon’s hung like an ox. But you didn’t tear. I was worried about that but should have known. He wouldn’t hurt you.

“We could take you together like that because he’s so freaking strong. He pretty much bench-pressed you. The cross or ceiling restraints work better but you aren’t ready for the soft dungeon.”

Oh. Well then. “You aren’t exactly Tiny Tim yourself,” she offered.

He patted her butt. “You’re sweet, Lois. Now hold still.”

A cold stinging breached her bottom hole, followed immediately by numbness.

“Topical anesthetic. Now roll over and I’ll do your nipples and clit.”

She was used to that. Trevor was as gentle and thorough as Jonathon. Her other sore points felt better after his ministrations. Jon wandered in, a towel snugged around his hips, and leered at her.

“You look ready for another round, sweetheart.”

“Not.” She smiled up at him. “I want to sleep.”

“We’ll stay here tonight but take this to our quarters in the morning.” Jon decided, and Trevor nodded his agreement.

They were communicating over her head again. Lois decided to let it go. Her brain was mushy from too many orgasms, if there was such a thing, and they would talk later. There was a brief discussion as to which side her men would sleep on, but Lois didn’t care. She had her place and crawled in, into the middle, under the covers while they worked it out. She fell into oblivion, her sore, aching, well-used body forgotten for the moment.

  Chapter Seventeen

“She should have some clothes for breakfast.” Trevor sounded firm.

“She will. She’s not ready for complete submission.”

“And she doesn’t have to be. She has a career, and we can’t expect that of her. I’m not Maurice and neither are you. And we’ll know when she’s ready to be displayed.”

“You’re not ready.” Jon’s voice was sly with humor.

“Damned straight. You’ve had her for weeks. I know so little about her, other than she’s sexually perfect and the world’s greatest nanny.”

  “Yah, about that…”

Lois broke into their conversation. “I’m right here, and you woke me. I’m still tired.” She was crabby, too. The previous night’s shenanigans were really making themselves known.

“Sweetheart, I’m sorry. You go back to sleep, and we’ll go get your clothes and stuff and order breakfast, in say, two hours.”

Lois sank back onto the mattress and turned her face into the pillow.

“You go get her things and whatever. I’ll rub her down.”

“You get the good stuff,” Jonathon grumbled.

She heard a rustle of fabric, solid footsteps and felt a kiss on her hair. She managed to lift her lips to his for the briefest kiss on record. The door opened and shut. Trevor climbed up beside her and pulled the sheet down.

“On your belly, honey.” He flipped her over when she couldn’t seem to comply, then poured some sweet-smelling oil on her upper back. Sweet grass. She loved sweet grass, hadn’t used any scents for years because of allergies among the children. She nearly sobbed when his strong hands kneaded her sore muscles, beginning with her shoulders, working his way down her back to knead her buttocks and thighs. She moaned aloud at his firm touch on her calves and feet. She drifted, vaguely aware of the sheet whispering up around her.

An eternity later, Jonathon kissed her awake and carried her to the bathroom. “Get washed up and dressed, sweetheart. Be ready in ten.”

She emerged, feeling able to greet the day, and was confronted with two sets of eyes exhibiting nearly identical expressions despite the difference in color and shape. Hunger. She headed for the door. They’d been patient a long time for her to get up and organized. Breakfast was waiting.

They sat beside the same spill of ivy, and Lois sipped her coffee while her men devoured shockingly huge amounts of cholesterol. She comforted herself with the fact they both worked it off and ate healthily the rest of the day. Well, Jon did, and she assumed Trevor did, too, to judge by his own muscled physique.

  “Does she usually starve herself?”

“No. She’ll have an egg sometimes, but usually it’s just juice, toast, and coffee. Maybe some fruit. She likes cream in her coffee when she’s not pissed with me.”

  “I’m here,” she said sweetly.

“There’ll be times I’ll talk to you, with you, ho
ney, but when I want immediate information, Jon’s the one I’ll ask. Feel free to challenge him if you like.”

Right. Like there would be any need for that. Jonathon had made a study of her, as she’d made of him. And she was noticing things about Trevor, too, learning him. She struggled to get a deep breath. This was flying along, full speed ahead, and it was overwhelming.

They were on it, simultaneously. Trevor took the coffee from her hand and encouraged her to relax. Jonathon stood to massage her shoulders. Her anxiety attack diminished, and she peered at Trevor. “We need to talk.”

“We do, honey. Jon and I want a ménage.”

It sounded like a fait accompli to her and what was it with these French words anyhow? “A ménage?”

“Like he said.” Jon looked calm, accepting, and relaxed. “We’re good together sexually, you’re comfortable with Trevor, and I think you like him. He loves you.”

Lois spun in her seat to face Trevor. He nodded gravely, and there was a hint of worry in his eyes. He thought she’d reject him.

“You don’t know me,” she protested. “The sex was awesome, but how can you love me?”

“I’m forty years old, Lois. I’ve been around many a block. I’ve been a third more times than I can count, and I’ve taken numerous subs. I’ve never felt anything for any one of them to compare with what I feel for you. And the sex was awesome.”

She wanted to smile. He’d added that last as an afterthought. As if. She was apparently his whole package, and it felt immensely flattering, but still…“I’d like to take some time to think about it.”

“Uh-huh. No surprise. But I’m not going anywhere. I’m an extremely determined man.”

Jonathon had gone back to his breakfast. She stared at him, and he returned her look with a pleased smile. He seemed sincere in his acceptance of Trevor’s assertion. He was waiting on her, leaving it up to her. She decided to open the negotiations.

“So how will this, uh, ménage proceed? If it turns into one?”

Trevor took her hand. “Our schedules mesh. We’ll spend the evenings together after work, and Jon can join us later. He says there’s room for me to stay here in his quarters with you for now. We’ll find our way, honey.”

“And sex?” Was that her? Indeed it was. She intended to make up for lost time.

“I don’t have to like it, Lois, but there will be times you’ll be alone with both of us. And I for one, am not going to wait for Trevor to show his ugly face before I can fuck you.” Jonathon’s voice was full of wry humor. “I’m not gonna think about him doing you while I’m not around.”

“He’s a possessive son of a bitch, honey, but he wants what you need.”

Nobody ever cared what she wanted, let alone needed, before. No one protected her, cared about her, or loved her. Her dad might disagree, but amoeba mom hadn’t left her much of him. She never had a boyfriend, never thought she’d have a man, and now she had two. If she wanted two. She wanted Jonathon, no contest. And Trevor held no less appeal since that first night she saw him in the lounge, but she hadn’t allowed herself to think about him because it felt disloyal. Witness how Jonathon felt about Maurice. He could barely stand for the other Dom to be in her presence.

She wanted to be sure. “Jonathon?”

“Let’s give it some time, like Trevor suggests.”

She supposed she had to be content with that, recognizing his tone. He was finished with the discussion.

The rest of the day was spent hanging out with the two men, looking at work schedules, talking about life in general. The club looked so different in the daytime, empty of people and activity, but there was the sense of waiting, of anticipation, not unlike how she felt. Both Jonathon and Trevor touched her all the time. Not in an overtly sexual manner, but casual caresses, the drift of fingers across her skin, a kiss on her hair, on her nose, just because they could. She liked it. And she really liked the fact they weren’t competing. She was going to talk to Kennedy though. Girlfriend stuff.

  * * * *

“A ménage? Holy shit. I mean shoot.” Kennedy cast a chagrined glance toward where Nathan sat dismantling the carefully constructed block structure Graham built for him. “When you kick over the traces, you really kick ‘em!”

“I know. I amaze myself. Do you think I’m insane?”

“Heck no, Lois. If you want two men and they want you, how’s that translate into insanity? I mean, there’ll be some logistics to work out. People outside of the club won’t get you, and there will be some talk, you know, raised eyebrows. But Jon intimidates the crap out of anybody, and Trevor has solid contacts because of the work he does. It shouldn’t be too big a problem.”

Lois hadn’t given a thought to the opinions of the outside world. Should she? No one paid her any mind before. But she supposed this would be different. Well, she’d figure it out. Kennedy was going on about other things.

“I suppose having two men for sex is great.” A sly nudge. “But what about all that laundry? And cooking for two picky palates. And having two opinionated males trying to tell you what to do all the time.”

“You’re pushing, Kennedy.” Graham sauntered into the room, looking resplendent in a blazer over a dark shirt and dark pants.

“Nope. Just giving her fair warning about the vagaries of men.” Kennedy twinkled up at her husband, and he dropped a kiss on her forehead.

Lois soaked it up. She fully knew how that sweet affection felt.

  “You ready?”

Kennedy smoothed the front of her loose, silky dress. “I am. Thanks for looking after Nathan, Lois. Madison hasn’t been up for much of a social life until recently. We won’t be late, though.”

“Take your time. Nathan and I will be fine. And thanks for the support on my new relationship. Things have gone so quickly.”

“Well, Trevor gave you time, right? You think on it, and we’ll talk some more when we get home. Graham knows more on the subject than me, so we’ll pick his brain, too.”

The couple prepared to leave. Nathan had a mild meltdown, something that spoke positively about his connection to them. Lois soothed him, and they sat to build fantasy buildings with little colored blocks marked with numbers and letters. When he tired she gave him a drink then put him down for a nap and lay beside him, staring at the ceiling and pondering the idea of a life with two men. Both of whom purported to love her. She didn’t want to close her eyes in case she woke up and found it was all just a dream. She smirked a little. Dreams didn’t leave one’s private parts pleasantly sore from extremely athletic sex. She reminded herself to sign up for that yoga class.

Trevor wanted to spend more time with her, both alone and with Jonathon. That suited her. Lois throttled the little voice in her head softly suggesting Trevor might want children. He hadn’t expressed any interest during their casual conversation. She hadn’t considered it until now and wasn’t going any further with it. She slipped from the bed, careful not to wake Nathan.

She wandered through the house, touching various items, running her fingertips across the furniture, wondering if she was making the right decision. On one hand it felt too quick, too rushed and overwhelming. On the other it seemed crazy not to jump at the chance. Jonathon and Trevor loved her. She knew she loved Jonathon, couldn’t imagine life without him, and wouldn’t deny her strong attraction to Trevor. It was a different feeling than the one she had for Jonathon, but this wasn’t a competition or a comparison. It was sweeter, gentler, deeper in a different way. She just needed more time to assimilate the two.

  Chapter Eighteen

Jonathon muttered under his breath, saying something about ingrates. She thought she appreciated how difficult it was for him to accept Trevor taking her along on an overnight trip. She continued to struggle from time to time with his job, the proximity to all those subs, but because she trusted him, she remained silent. And it was more about her issues in any event. Lois had yet to completely accept her average self had attracted a man like Jonathon, let alon
e Trevor as well.

Trevor was personally providing a security system quote as a favor for an old friend now living in Houston and asked Lois to accompany him. She immediately accepted, without checking with Jonathon first. She knew it was a test, although she tried not to attach much credibility to it. She wanted him to trust her with his heart, too, and this could be an opportunity for them both. Besides, he and Trevor would have discussed it. There were times when she wished to be included in said discussions but thus far had accepted they’d never decide anything she didn’t want or really like.

She curled up on Jonathon’s lap. His big arms looped around her, and she reveled in the warmth. “I want to get to know Trevor better.”

“I know. And I want you to.” He wiggled his eyebrows at her, a comical action quite at odds with his sculpted face. “I had you first, after all.”

“Jonathon, this isn’t about who was first. It’s about developing my relationship with Trevor, too. We can’t base this solely on sex.” Well, didn’t that sound Puritan! He was obviously working hard at controlling his laughter, and she thumped his shoulder with her closed fist.

“It’s true, Jonathon. You have to know that, right?”

“I do, sweetheart. I just hate the idea of you sleeping away from me. With Trevor, alone.”

“But I sleep with Trevor every night! At least until you get off work.”

“That’s different. Trevor knows the score.”

“Trevor does indeed know the score.” He materialized from behind the pillar their couch backed up to, stooping to drop a kiss on her eager mouth. “Same score? Different score?”

“Nothing, buddy. Just complaining about your upcoming sleepover with our sub.”

Her two men exchanged one of those speaking glances she couldn’t interpret. Darn it. Jonathon’s possessiveness had reared its domineering head again, although he’d settled as soon as Trevor arrived. What was it costing him in order that her needs be met? Because she wanted Trevor, too.
