She was almost sweet as she curled herself up in his bedcovers, chestnut hair fanning out across the stark white of the pillows. With a smile Valto pulled off his shirt before joining her on the bed, his heart stuttering in his chest as she pressed herself against him and he slid his arms around her petite body. He kissed her softly and as their lips moved softly against each other she whispered, “I love you.”
