I am forever grateful to my wonderful family for their support—to my father, for letting me share your story, and to my mother for your denial faith. I’m glad I got to share an example of your love in this book versus all my other projects, where I write the parents as crazy people (you’re welcome). To my husband, who has given me the best love story already, and to my children, thank you for your patience with me when I’m “almost done” for months on end. To the rest of my family and friends, near and far, your endless support means the world to me.

To Bri, my editor, PR manager, and fifth favorite person in the world, may we both get lost in a shoe closet someday. You deserve it for all you do for me.

To Jess, copresident of Writer’s Club (someday we will get Diet Coke to sponsor our writing retreats!), thanks for keeping up our story of how productive we are when we write together. You outfriend me on a regular basis, and I am so very thankful for that. As do you, Hillary—your time spent on my ridiculous book binders is so greatly appreciated, and I am very grateful for you.

To all my #TBConFB friends, your daily humor and support keeps me going, and I look forward to a day when I can be with you all in person (in my pants), eating baklava together. If I am murdered by someone wearing a balaclava at the same time, I know no one else can appreciate that kind of irony like you folks, and my death will have been worth it.

To my Mini Pig Education friends, thank you for your endless support with this project. Ironically, you are largely the reason this book was published (as unrelated as that may seem, lol). You came through for me in the biggest way possible, and I still can’t believe how many of you supported me in this simply because we have some common ground in raising our microscopic nano teacups. (Note to the rest of the world: that was sarcasm. There is no such thing as a micro nano teacup pig, despite what Craigslist tells you. Mini pigs are amazing pets (even while crushing your legs for a snuggle) but they’re not for everyone – especially if you enjoy silence – or eating alone – or ruling your own house - so do your research first. :)

Lastly, to my readers (I had to save you for last because you’re the best part!), I am so delighted and appreciative of the time you spent reading my book. It means more to me than you can possibly imagine, and I am very grateful for you. Thanks for joining me on this journey. ~ XOXO
