And Then It Happened: An Unexpected Romance
Page 23
Not that I’d told Adrian that.
Tell me what you’re wearing?
I couldn’t help but smile as I responded, Jeans and a t-shirt.
Snore. Have you learned nothing the past two months we’ve been together? Use your imagination
I giggled as I typed back, Fine then I’m taking my clothes off and what do you know…I’m not wearing underwear!
“Liar,” the voice behind me said and I jumped.
“Stop being so sneaky!” I protested as he engulfed me in a hug. The past two months had been glorious, the two of us got back into the groove of things like we’d never been apart. And I was more in love with him than ever.
He pressed a kiss to my neck as he slowly began to undo my jeans zipper. “Getting horny just staring at these painting, huh?” he asked as he slid his hand inside.
“No,” I replied, arching back into him.
“Liar,” he said, feeling how ready I was. “Although I can’t blame you. I do look pretty hot in each one,” he said, his eyes scanning the canvas. “You’re fucking brilliant, you know that?”
I sighed as he pressed a tender kiss to my cheek. “I do now.”
“Let’s go upstairs and fuck,” Adrian said his hips thrusting against me. “I’ve been away from you for too long.”
“How about we just do it right here?” I said with a smile. “I’ve always wanted to do you in that Victorian chair.”
His eyebrows rose. “Yeah?”
“Yeah, ever since you carried into the house for me.”
“Then what are we waiting for?” Adrian asked as he pulled me toward it, stripping out of his clothes as he did.
“Who would have ever thought we’d be here right now?” I asked as I pulled my shirt over my head, revealing a see through white bra.
“I did. I knew right after you fell in front of my house.”
“You did?” I asked, as I straddled his thighs.
“I did. It was unexpected, but I did. And it was shortly after that I knew I couldn’t’ live without you. You were everything I wanted to be and I knew you could make me a better person.”
“And I felt the same way, it just took me a little longer to realize it.”
“That’s because you have issues…”
I rolled my eyes.
“But I don’t mind a woman with a little insufficiencies.”
“But only if she makes up for it in other ways?” I asked with a smile
“Yeah,” Adrian muttered as he pulled me down onto him. “Now why don’t you show me?”
And so I did.
