She needed another adventure that was just as exciting as her first. However, this time it would be different because she was aware of the possibilities. And there was no end to the possibilities.
Paulette had to laugh at herself. She knew that she was being flamboyant in her thoughts. But that was part of the new Paulette. Why not take a chance on life?
The way she looked at it was if she was going to do this she might as well do it as big as she could. Paulette was going to set herself on the path of adventure with expectations. She knew that if you wanted something really good you had to ask for something fantastic and then settle for the merely good.
As she drank her morning coffee at two in the afternoon, Paulette scribbled out a few guidelines for her next adventure. The guy had to be big. A big cock would be good but she wanted him tall and broad shouldered. A little guy with a big cock would be a last resort.
Paulette herself was a big woman. She privately liked to think of herself as a BBW – a big beautiful woman. She certainly had generous proportions and she always liked to splurge on her own wardrobe.
Since her night of passion with a well muscled man, Paulette was even more acutely aware of her body. She wanted to pamper herself and indulge in clothing that felt really good on her skin. That made choosing the outfits for her next predatory outing was going to be easy. She had several new outfits.
She had to stop and think about the use of the word predatory. She really wasn't preying on guys. She just knew what she wanted and she knew the best way to get what she wanted was to plan her project.
A sports bar. That would be the place to go. And she wanted a big muscular guy. Football. Luckily Paulette understood football so striking up a conversation could be relatively easy. She read enough to know that most men like to talk about themselves.
Football would be perfect. She could be interested in what they were talking about and if nothing came of it at least it would not be a wasted night out.
Paulette opted for a bubble bath and as she luxuriated in the hot water she saw how much she liked sex. She liked it so much she wondered if she shouldn't needlepoint a couple of cushion for her sofa that simply said Paulette Loves Sex.
She had to smile at the image of her mother visiting and seeing those charming little decorative pillows on the sofa. It was just part of her general happiness.
She knew she was being silly but it didn't matter. She was just getting in the mood to have fun. She was also aware that she could have a disastrous evening. She could strike out in any number of different ways. It could be a night when the bars were not busy.
She could end up sitting in a nearly empty bar eating stale peanuts and drinking flat beer. She could find a really busy bar but none of the men might be interested in her.
Her best bet was to maximize her chances by doing a little bit of research. She went to her laptop and did a little research on the local sports scene. She found a few ads for sports bars and she noted the surrounding articles.
A local sports columnist was writing about draft picks and contract years and he mentioned a few up-and-coming football players. A little more research provided further information on where that particular sports columnist liked to have his beer.
That indicated that these were places where serious football players might hang out. The nice thing about Paulette’s plan was that she could stop it at any point. She could stop in late in the evening for a drink and check out the setting.
If she didn’t like it, she could just leave. It was as simple as that.
Paulette was aware that she was being sterile and academic about choosing the bar where she had the best chance to meet horny football players. She knew that it could also make no difference at all but if there was any way to create a bit of an edge for herself, why not do it?
The Quarterback Bar and Grill
At ten o'clock that evening Paulette walked into the Quarterback Bar and Grill. It was dimly lit and large televisions hung on each wall showing scenes from classic football games.
There were large tables scattered among several small but open rooms. There were a couple of smaller tables with couples scattered among the bigger tables. The place was not too crowded but not so empty that she stood out from the crowd.
Paulette headed for a smaller table that was not discreetly tucked away in the background but in front and center. She was going to pretend she was meeting someone there and even though no one asked what her plans were for the evening, she acted as though she were nonchalantly waiting for someone to show up.
This called for occasional glances toward the door. She ordered one drink and sipped at it slowly while she busied her mind with thoughts of what she could do if this evening turned into a washout.
She dismissed this thought as soon as she had it. The evening would serve as an exploration if nothing else. She had been there about half an hour when she glanced toward the door and almost gasped out loud.
She knew this was a place where football players hung out but she expected to see amateur players and fans of the local league. She never expected to see one of the most famous faces in football walk in casually. It wasn't like she was seeking autographs. She was just seeking great sex with a guy in fabulous shape.
So when she saw Rick the Brick enter the room she couldn't help but stare. Rick was a major league player whose team took the trophy last year. A multimillion dollar player was walking within two feet of her table. She knew she must look like a starstruck goofball but she could not take her eyes off him.
He made eye contact with her and smiled and she couldn't help but smile back. He passed her table. She waved to the waiter and indicated that she would like to order another drink. She knew that if she went home now, her evening was well worth it just because she saw Rick the Brick in person.
She had the fantasy material for her bedtime pleasure tonight. Just the very thought of spreading her legs for that gigantic superstar almost made her damp sitting here in the well cooled bar. She was thinking about what it would be like to have his huge legs tangled with hers.
The bartender brought her drink over and said, “Compliments of the gentleman over there.”
Paulette turned to look at the gentleman with a perfunctory nod and she smiled a thank you to the gentleman before actually registering who it was. She was shocked to see that the gentleman was none other than Rick the Brick. He flashed a generous grin back at her.
As she sipped her drink, Paulette searched her mind for what she knew about Rick. He was 26. He was born in Georgia and he had been on a winning team ever since he went pro.
She began to search through her memory banks to see what his marital status was and then she realized that she didn't pay any attention to those kinds of details about football players. Married or single, the less she knew the better. She was only interested in his playing not his personal life.
Paulette continued to sip at her drink. She was drinking scotch on the rocks because it was a drink that she knew she would drink slowly because it wasn't the tastiest drink she ever had. The second one was warming her limbs. The rest of her was already hot.
She was smiling to herself, absorbed in the stories and she would tell Amber when they are on shift together again. She didn't see him come toward her table and she was somewhat startled when he spoke.
She looked at him and he repeated, “hello.”
“Thank you for the drink,” she said, dimpling as she smiled.
“May I join you?” He asked.
“Sure,” she said, “make yourself at home.”
Rick sat down across the table from her. He looked at her drink and asked if she would like another one. She shook her head no. The waiter appeared with his beer, placed a new coaster on the table and positioned Rick's beer on top of it.
“It looks like you got stood up too,” he said.
Paulette looked at him and grinned.
He grinned back at her and Paulette stared directly into his greenish blue eyes. He
was wearing a golf shirt and Paulette wondered if it was custom-made. She was very familiar with shopping for clothes that were not the standard regulation size.
Even though she was a generously build woman with huge breasts and a very large ass, she still had an hourglass type of shape. That meant that off the rack plus size clothes did not necessarily fit her well. Her breasts were large and prominent and her waist, while not exactly tiny, did exist.
She splurged on bras so her breasts were not, as so often the case with large women, drooping. There were certain clothing brands that fit her extremely well and she had indulged in many of those designs. She also had some of her outfits custom-made.
Tonight she was wearing a pant suit with a sweater in a green color that set off her curly blonde hair.
Rick the brick was a plus sized man but in a different form of plus size than Paulette was. His shoulders were extremely wide and his upper arms were thick as tree trunks. Even a double X large off-the-shelf shirt would not fit the way his shirt fit. It draped over his shoulders without any strain lines and molded neatly to his flat stomach.
Paulette was debating on asking him where he bought his clothes and realized that would not be the best opening gambit for conversation.
It only took her a few seconds to have these thoughts and as she was thinking he spoke. “My buddy is always late. I was forty-five minutes late getting here myself knowing that he would be late.”
“How do you know he didn't come and leave?”
“The bartender knows him and he said that he wasn't here.”
He took a sip of his beer and then asked, “how about you?”
“I've never seen you here before,” he said.
“I’d be surprised if you did because that’s the first time I have ever come to the Quarterback.”
She blushed. She couldn't help herself and she was trying to see if there was some sort of glaring ugly pun buried in her comment. Upon quick reflection she didn't see anything with too much innuendo in it.
Besides, Paulette reminded herself, the whole point of entering into these activities of her new persona was to just let her words flow. Damn the consequences.
A Late Snack
They talked about the last game he played and Paulette had actually watched some of it. It had run late and she missed the end of it because it was time to get ready to go to work. The upside of working the so-called midnight shift was that it really didn't interfere with too much that she wanted to do during the day.
The downside was that her shift started at eleven at night and sometimes evenings were not exactly ready to end early enough for her to easily get to work without missing the end of some events and movies.
It was so easy to tape everything but Paulette had always had a strong sense of that old adage that if you don't have time to do it now, when will you have time?
“I'm pretty impressed,” he said. “You really know your football.”
“Always did.”
Paulette for a minute had the uncomfortable feeling that perhaps he thought that she was stalking him. Well – let the words flow. She asked him, “is this one of your usual haunts?”
“Yes and no. I do come here when I'm in town but I don't exclusively come here. The truth is, I'm not really much of a bar person at all.”
“I suppose.” She thought, he can’t exactly hang around in bars. She raked her eyes over his torso. While she knew that if he had looked at her the same lascivious way and said something like she had just said, it would have been rude.
When she said it, it didn't come across that way. That was a difference between being a handsome football superstar and an unknown plump gerontology nurse. She just had a lot more freedom to say things. No one was going to quote her silly blatherings to the press.
“You are little rascal,” he said.
The ice was broken and he talked a lot more about how it felt to have a few days off between games. Then he suggested that they go someplace else for a little snack.
“We could have it here,” he said, “but on the off chance my buddy does show up, I'd rather be someplace else with you.”
“You don't have to ask me twice.” Paulette gathered up her purse. They talked as they walked toward the exit and he grabbed a cab and asked her to give cab driver the address for a nice quiet place where they could have a bite to eat.
She took him to a little bistro that was about ten blocks away. She didn't want to take him to her neighborhood because that wasn't part of her game plan. She was torn and almost did suggest the restaurant near where she lived.
It was certain he would send tongues wagging in her neighborhood if they saw Paulette show up late in the evening with Rick the Brick.
The bistro was a cozy place with dim lighting and a very quiet atmosphere. They ordered a small platter of hors d'oeuvres and sodas. After they ate, Rick said, “I don't want this evening to end.”
“Neither do I.”
Rick said, “I'm not much of a ladies man.”
Paulette's first thought was he was trying to tell her that he was gay and the same thought process occurred to him at the same time. He leaned back and held up one hand in the gesture that meant no and added, “I mean I really like the ladies but I've never been the kind that knows the right thing to say or the right thing to do.”
“Oh I bet you get lots of action.”
“There's always been plenty of opportunity but until a couple of months ago I had a girlfriend so I never really bothered looking.”
“Oh. I'm sorry to hear that.” I'm sorry you're single didn't seem to be the right thing to say but she didn't want him to think that she was looking for a single guy. She would prefer a single guy because she only wanted to have fun for a night, she didn't want to think that she was causing anybody any stress or pain.
“Don't be sorry. All's well that ends well and it ended well. The whole point of even mentioning that was not to tell you some sad story but just to let you know that most of the time I've been on the road, I've not been a big player.”
“Well, you are a pretty big player on the field,” Paulette said.
“Off the field is a different matter.”
“Well let's figure out a game plan.” Paulette rested her chin on her hands and looked at him with a very serious look. “I'm pretty sure we can find something that will work to keep this evening going.”
Your Place or Mine?
Normally Paulette would've been reluctant to invite a stranger back to her apartment. At least she thought she would have been. The reality is that's not something she ever really thought about.
They could go back to his hotel room. He already told her where he was staying. But she knew that he could easily be spotted squiring her into his hotel and possibly into his hotel room.
That was typical Paulette, and she knew that Amber would laugh when she told her about this. First she avoids the neighborhood restaurant because she didn't want all her neighbors to see who she was hanging out with. And now she wanted to avoid being captured by the press going to this football superstar's hotel room.
She knew Amber and if this was Amber, Amber would be calling the press herself. At least Amber would say that's what she would do.
Paulette was always practical and she knew that her bed was good and sturdy. It was part of her personal preference to have everything as high a quality as she could afford. She wanted a bed that would withstand her own tossing and turning on it.
So her big oak bed with its sturdy oak legs was big enough to handle the pair of them. She said, “would you like to come back to my place for a night cap?” It was like she was in some sort of old-fashioned movie.
He nodded. Then he said, “I'll be right back” and he exited towards the public washrooms and took a detour on the way back to pay the bill. She could see him but her mind was distracted wondering if he had ducked into the washroom looking for condoms.
She had condoms in her purse. The entire box was still there from when she bought
it a month ago and it had never even been opened.
They took another cab back to Paulette's place and she was glad that she lived in an attractive condominium complex. She was proud of her place. In the apartment he admired her artwork; she asked if a glass of wine would do as a nightcap or something stronger?
He said that he would actually prefer a soft drink or even a glass of water. So Paulette ended up pouring sparkling water over ice in a pair of her crystal whiskey glasses.
They sat like a pair of strangers in her living room and the air was full of tension. They had talked with such ease all evening but being in an intimate situation like this had filled both of them with a sudden shyness.
Paulette finally spoke. “I guess I have the home team advantage.”
He laughed. He laughed more than her comment deserved but it did break some of the tension. He leaned forward and gently put his lips on hers.
Paulette closed her eyes and let the sensation of his soft lips spread ripples of contented pleasure through her body. When his tongue touched her lips she opened her mouth slightly. She felt his hands on her sides pulling her closer to him.
They had been sitting on her loveseat so they weren't that far apart to begin with. Now she was nestled in his arms. This is why Paulette liked big men. They made her feel tiny. Or if not exactly tiny, at least relatively small.
Because they were both large people it wasn't all that easy to make a segue from the loveseat to her bedroom. It might've been easier if he had known which room was her bedroom because he was sitting closest to the bedroom door. But he didn’t know that.
When he finally released her from the lengthy kiss, Paulette was about to say, let's get more comfortable but he spoke first. “Wow. You taste really good.”
Paulette stood up with a smile that she hoped was somewhat seductive and held out her hand to him. He took her hand and stood up. She guided him into her bedroom and what happened in the next minute or two was a bit of a blur.
