Gabe’s jaw set. He pushed buttons on the remote and changed the mode until HGTV’s House Hunters played out on the screen and the equipment spit out the DVD. “Yes, I think you’re right. The family must’ve come back here after their vacation. And we know what happened after that.” He draped his arm over her shoulder and tucked her warm body against his side. “But let’s not think about it anymore. The Coast Guard, other military, the police, and all the government agencies are here to help. It’s all over now. How about we go get some more of that creamy cheesecake?”

Wylee grinned and tore her gaze from the TV. “Sounds like a great idea.” She rubbed her belly. “These babies of yours need some nourishment.”

He laughed and grabbed her hand, leaving his jeans gaping open. “C’mon, you three. Let’s get this family’s party started.”

They entered the foyer and started down the hallway toward the gourmet kitchen. A bumping noise sounded behind the locked door leading to the old morgue and embalming room. Gabe planned to gut it and turn it into a man cave, but for now, he had it sealed off.

The noise escalated. Unmistakable snarls rose from the basement.

They stopped in their tracks and shot weary gazes at the door.

“Shit.” Gabe rolled his eyes and sighed. So much for his formaldehyde theory.

Wylee crossed to the coat closet beneath the stairs and yanked the door open. “No worries, honey.” She drew out her semiautomatic gun and machete. Soft corridor lighting glinted off the steel blade when she held it up. “Operation: Twilight. I’m ready when you are, Doctor.”

Gabe shook his head and stroked the five-o’clock whiskers along his jaw. His gaze followed the long strands of blond hair cradling the shadow of cleavage in the little teddy, and the way her toned legs took a powerful stance. Damn, he could take her again, just like this. Even with the weapons in her hands.

“Mm-mm. What a badass babe you are.”

“How about I put on another black leather getup and show you just how ‘bad’ I can be?”

The weapons clattered to the wood floor when Gabe backed her across the hall and pushed her against the basement door. She fisted his shirt in her hands and pulled his mouth to hers. Her arms and legs were wrapped around him before her back hit wood a second time. The snarls below faded when he drew away, gazed into her icy-blue eyes, and got lost in the heat of her desire.

“How about you put on just your stethoscope and be my nurse? Doctor’s orders,” he murmured with just a breath’s space between their lips.

She sealed her mouth over his and sucked on his tongue until he thought his balls would explode. The kiss was short but dizzying. She already had him hard as granite. “Or better yet, how about you just get your cock out and take me right here and now against this door. Nurse’s orders.”

He didn’t need any more suggestions. “Yes, nurse, but it’s already out.” He slid inside her. “Wait, I mean, in.”

Their moans and rhythmic pounding against the door carried through the huge house, drowning out anything else going bump in the night.

  Sexual Healing by Izzy Szyn

  Chapter One

“Are you sure that you want to go through with it?” Zoe Whitaker’s mother Sandra asked her from behind her.

“No,” she admitted. Zoe was supposed to become engaged to Derek Barnes, chief of staff of Saratoga Hospital. Derek was the youngest person to hold that position in the history of Saratoga Hospital. Zoe had been having doubts for weeks now. Well if she were honest more than that.

“Honey, you’re about to become engaged to a man that you will be saddled with for the rest of you your life,” Sandra warned her.

“I know Mom,” replied Zoe. “But our lives together have been planned since before we were in kindergarten.”

“Don’t let what we wanted before you could read make your decision for you. I love you and I don’t want my only daughter to spend the rest of her life miserable. Marriage is supposed to be forever,” advised Sandra. “Whenever I’m around Derek, I get the feeling that he’s really a creep in a nice package.”

Zoe had been feeling that for a long time, she wasn’t surprised that her mother picked up on it. “I got that same feeling,” she admitted.

“Is there someone else that is making you question your decision?” asked Sandra.

  “Brent Taylor,” Zoe said quietly.

“Brent Taylor? I didn’t know he was back in town,” Sandra sounded shocked. “Where did you see him?”

“He’s at Holy Cross Hospital. Cassidy and I had taken a patient there, one of the doctors on duty was Brent,” answered Zoe.

  “Did he see you?”

“Yeah, he was just as surprised as I was,” admitted Zoe. Just thinking about him made her panties damp and her pulse race. Brent always had a bit of a bad boy persona, dark hair that seemed to always fall over his dark piercing blue eyes.

“Did he say anything about Liam?” Sandra sounded curious.

“They’re still together,” answered Zoe. Liam was Derek’s twin brother. Even though they shared the same womb for nine months that was the only thing in common they seemed to share.

Derek had the classic good looks that you’d expect to see on a soap opera. He was arrogant and expected everyone to jump when he speaks. Liam was warm, sweet and funny. While not soap opera hot, Liam drew people to him like a magnet.

For some reason Zoe couldn’t understand, Derek and Liam’s parents always seemed to favor Derek. Liam was always an afterthought. Derek had been groomed to take over his father’s practice. Liam they seemed to ignore.

Zoe had met Derek and Liam in a playpen when she was just a few months old. Her parents and the guys’ parents were both doctors who worked in the hospital together.

Even from the age of five, she remembered Derek and her parents talking about a wedding that would bring the two families together. Even though Liam was her best friend the Barnes seemed to play matchmakers between Zoe and Derek.

Zoe and Liam were forever getting in trouble when they were kids. She lost count on how many times they had to go to her dad for bandages or ice. They were together from the time they got up until it was time to go to bed at night.

When Brent Taylor came to town all that had changed. Liam was immediately drawn to Brent. Zoe always knew that Liam liked both guys and girls. While she didn’t care, he often confessed that his parents were always telling him he’d go to hell and made him go to doctors who tried to change the way he felt.

He spent more and more time with Brent and less time with Zoe. It was that time that she started to go to dances and parties with Derek as her date. They eventually went separate ways.

Rumors started floating around school that Liam and Brent were more than just friends. That they were lovers. When she asked Derek, he told her to ignore the rumors. That there was no way Liam would be gay. Their parents would not allow for that to happen.

Zoe discovered for herself that the rumors were true, when she was walking across the football field towards home when she heard a noise behind the bleachers. Becoming curious she stopped short when she saw Brent and Liam kissing. Their clothes were off and their hands were around each other’s cocks.

She had no idea how long she stood there. She was mesmerized watching the two of them having sex. How could that be wrong? She wondered to herself. It was hot, and made her want to touch herself. She also a little jealous.

She still had feelings for Liam and, something she only admitted to herself that she also had feelings for Brent. She thought that there was something wrong in that she wanted them both. Derek never made her feel what the two of them felt.

But she felt like she was breaking some kind of promise by ending things with Derek. She kept hoping that things would change, but they never did. After watching Brent and Liam, she made it a point to go to that same spot before they did and watch them. It became an addiction.

She stopped going there one day when she went to her spot to watch and saw t
hem with a girl. The girl was naked and the two of them were having sex with her. How? What? And if they wanted a girl to join them why not her?

After that day, she decided to forget about them. She became the perfect girlfriend to Derek. So what if he didn’t make her feel the way the other two did? He wanted her and only her. But it was hard to avoid Liam and Brent.

No matter where she went, she heard people talk about their threesomes and how much fun it was. Some girls even thought that they could break them up, which was stupid. Brent and Liam were a packaged deal.

She lost her virginity to Derek the night of their senior homecoming dance. After it was over she wondered what all the fuss was about. It hurt and didn’t feel as good as everyone said. She wondered if she’d done something wrong.

When Derek asked her if she liked it, she lied and said yes. But it never got any better. She never felt with him what she felt just watching Liam and Brent. She wondered if there was something wrong with her.

She went online and searched for stuff about sex. She read and even watched some online porn and she wondered why Derek never tried to do any of the things that apparently guys did in books, or in the movies. She asked him and he said only sluts behaved that way and she wasn’t a slut, she was his future wife.

It was the night of their graduation party when all hell broke loose when Liam’s parents found him in bed with Brent. There was yelling, screaming and Liam begging them to not make him choose. But in his parents were adamant. Them or Brent.

“What are you thinking about?” Sandra asked.

“The night of the graduation party,” confessed Zoe, sitting on the bed.

“Everyone in Saginaw Heights still talks about what happened,” Sandra replied. “Things were never the same between us and the Barnes. We told them that they should make amends with Liam. That despite everything he is still their child. But they just told us to mind our own business. If it weren’t for you and Derek we wouldn’t be talking to them at all.”

“I don’t think they ever accepted Brent to begin with,” answered Zoe.

“Brent was the type of guy that mothers warned their daughters about when I was younger,” Sandra commented. “How did he look?”

“If anything he was hotter than I remembered,” replied Zoe.

“Yeah, definitely the kind of guy most parents would be wary of. As a young man in his teens, Brent had more than a few women wanting to be with him. Probably some men too,” grinned Sandra.

“Mom,” laughed Zoe. Although she had to agree.

“Hey just because I’m married to your father doesn’t mean I can’t look,” Sandra defended herself. “Did he say anything to you?”

“He asked me to meet him at the bakery around the corner from the hospital after I got off of work,” Zoe answered.

“I guess that was an offer you didn’t want to refuse?” questioned Sandra. “You’re my daughter, you’d be curious to wonder what he wanted to talk about.”

“You know me so well. Yeah I met with him.”

  “What did he say?”

“Ummm,” Zoe wasn’t sure how much to tell. Even now thinking about it her stomach turned to mush, the liquid going to her panties.

“Spill it Zoe,” ordered her mother.

  “Liam was there too.”

“What did they want?” Her mother asked.

  “Me.”

“They finally come to their senses?” Sandra asked.

  “MOM,” Zoe yelled.

“Sweetheart whenever I ran into them at the store or a restaurant or something, they always asked about you. I always told them that if they were interested they should ask you.”

  “Really?”

“Yes, really. I think that they wanted you back then, but it wasn’t the thing to do back then. Two guys with one girl? Even now the town busybodies would get their smelling salts out,” Sandra told her.

“If they wanted me then they should have come for me back then,” Zoe commented.

“True, but they were teenage boys. Even though they had more sense than most, they were still boys. I think they needed to grow up and to give you the courtesy of doing the same,” replied Sandra.

What her mother said made sense. It still hurt but she knew her mother was right. Her mind went to the conversation at the bakery. The minute they both walked in Zoe no longer donut or juice she wanted them. The sexual heat between them was enough to set the bakery on fire.

“What did they say to you?”

How much did she dare tell her mother? Even now her body seemed to shiver, she’d not been able to concentrate ever since her encounter with them.

“Hi,” she said to them coming up. “Liam? I didn’t know you’d be here too.”

“When Brent told me that he saw you at the hospital, I couldn’t stay away,” Liam stood up and hugged her. Damn he smelled good. A smoky, woodsy scent that came from him and not some cologne that could be bought. “I’ve missed you.”

“If you’d really missed me then you would’ve contacted me,” Zoe refused to admit that her heart flipped. “When did you get back to town?”

“A few days ago,” Brent replied. “I’m here for a few days as a consultant for a case. But that’s not the only reason why we’re here.”

“Oh,” Zoe’s heart sank. “What’s the other reason?”

“We came for you,” Liam told her.

“What?” Zoe thought she blanked out for a minute.

“We came for you,” repeated Brent. “Are you still with Derek?”

“Are you still with Derek?” Liam asked.

“Yeah.” Why? When these two can make her feel this way did she want to settle for what Derek had to offer. She was starting to see a side of Derek that she didn’t like and frankly sort of scared her.

“He can’t have you,” Liam said. “You belong to us.”

“I don’t belong to anybody but myself. The two of you can’t just waltz back into town and say I belong to you, when you’ve ignored me all this time,” Zoe replied back. “The two of you left without a word. Liam you were my best friend.”

“We wanted you then, but neither one of us was ready for that type of commitment. As much as we wanted you, we needed to finish school,” explained Brent. “But you were never one second out of our minds.”

  “Where were you?” Zoe asked.

“We went back to my home,” Brent answered. “We finished school there and built a home for the three of us to live in.”

“You built a house?” Zoe was confused.

“We built our home,” corrected Liam. “Wait until you see it.”

“Are you a doctor too?” She ignored the reference to the home they built. She refused to believe that they built a house with her in mind.

“Where do you live?” she asked them.

“A place called Ravana,” replied Liam.

“Where’s that located? I never heard of it before,” she questioned them. Ravana? Geography was her favorite subject in school. She’d remember a place with that name.

“It can’t be found on a map,” answered Brent. “Can we go and talk somewhere private?”

“We can’t talk here, there are too many people around. Come with us,” Liam stood up and held his hand out. “There are some things you need to know.”

Zoe took his hand and went with them to where there were two parked motorcycles. She’d never ridden one before but that was something she always wanted to try. Brent picked up a helmet and placed it on her head. “We need to protect our mate.”

“Mate?” Things were getting weirder by the minute.

“We’ll tell you everything once we arrive at our destination,” promised Liam before getting on his motorcycle. “Wrap your arms around my waist.”

Climbing on the motorcycle she did as he asked. Her hands barely able to touch each other. One thing for sure, Liam filled out very nicely. He turned on the motorcycle and took off.

Riding on a motorcycle was beyond anything Zoe had ever
felt before. She leaned her head on Liam’s back, trusting him that he wouldn’t hurt her. With her head on his back, she could almost hear his heart.

She wasn’t sure how long they rode, but she was sorry when it ended. Liam had turned into a wooded area just outside of town. She smelled the grass, the leaves, she wished she didn’t have the helmet on so that she could feel the breeze through her hair.

When they stopped in front of a cabin, her heart started to pump harder. It sort of reminded her of the cabin in Little Red Riding Hood. The only thing missing was a big bad wolf. Her gaze strayed to Liam and Brent. Or in this case wolves. It was a good thing that werewolves were not real.

“Okay, talk,” she ordered when they went in the cabin.

  “We’re not human.”

“What? Are you on some kind of drugs?” Zoe started to get nervous. What the hell did they mean not human? And why did she agree to go with them?

Sitting next to her, Brent touched her leg, “We’re not on any drugs and we’re not candidates for some mental ward. First let me explain and if you want to leave we won’t stop you okay?”

“Okay.” Zoe had to admit to being curious of what kind of tale they were going to tell her.

“I know what we’re going to tell you is going to sound crazy but hear us out,” urged Liam.

  “Talk.”

“I’m from a place called Ravana,” started Brent.

“Where is it located?” She asked.

  “In another dimension,” answered Brent.

  “Another what?”

“Another dimension. There are seven dimensions,” explained Liam. “I know exactly what you’re feeling right now. You think that we lost our ever loving minds. I had the same reaction when Brent told me about Ravana.”

“Ravana was created during Earth’s Biblical Age,” Brent told her. “Specifically around the time of Noah’s Ark.”

“I never really bought Noah’s Ark. How could one man get two of everything on one ship? The ship would have had to be humongous,” Zoe commented.
