  Chapter One

"Something sure smells good, Beck," Rob looked at his twin sister expectantly. It was a well known fact that she was the best cook in the family.

"Vegetable soup. I knew you guys would be hungry," Becky smiled innocently as she looked at her brother. "I made a chocolate cake, too," she added with another sweet smile for her husband of five years.

"You spoil me, honey," Trevor leaned down to kiss her satiny smooth cheek.

"Both of you sit right down," she bossed and started dishing up steaming bowls full of thick, hearty soup. Both her twin and her husband proclaimed her soup THE BEST, and she was proud of that title.

"I really should head on home," Rob admitted as he took a seat at the table. "Holly will be wondering where I am."

"You know she won't have a thing for you to eat, Rob," Becky sighed, placing a bowl in front of him. "Eat up."

"Holly wasn't raised like you, Beck," Rob defended his wife.

"No, she wasn't. She's spoiled and you let her get away with murder."

"Rebecca Marie, that is enough," Trevor warned softly. "This soup is good after a long trip home. Thanks for thinking of us."

"You're welcome, honey," Becky replied, and then said, "Enjoy your soup. There is plenty more. I have to get some things from the dryer."

"Okay, babe," Trevor nodded, eating another spoonful and noting the pensive, brooding look in Rob's eyes. "Becky will be hurt if you don't eat plenty, Rob."

"I'm eating," Rob grinned. "Even though I don't want to admit it, Beck is right. Holly won't have a thing to eat when I walk in the door. She'll more than likely be on the computer with her girlfriends, complaining about me."

"What the heck for? You haven't been home for five days!" Trevor was surprised.

  "Precisely," the younger man nodded.

  "You've been working!"

"You and I know that, but Holly thinks we're out running to nightclubs every night."

  "She's jealous?"

"Very. If I don't take these out of town jobs, I don't make enough money to keep up with her spending, and when I do take them, she tells me I don't love her. I dread going home to see what she bought to punish me this time."

"Why don't you take away her credit cards and put her on a budget?"

"I tried that. She had the bank issue new cards."

"She deliberately disobeyed you and you permitted her to get away with it?" Trevor asked with a frown. "Seems to me like you need to apply some discipline to your marriage, Rob."

"She would probably divorce me if I tried that," Rob answered glumly.

Trevor remembered his orders to Becky to butt out of her twin's marriage, but he thought that Trevor needed to put his hand to Holly's backside. "Rob, if you let this continue, it's going to just get worse." He took a bite of soup and asked, "Can I get you some crackers?"

Rob said, "I'm fine," but his mind was on the last fight he'd had with Holly, just before he left on this business trip with Trevor. She'd been furious that he was going out of town again, and warned him that he wasn't going to have a marriage if he couldn't spend some time at home. He was positive he was going to be in for another confrontation the moment he walked in the door. If he didn't love Holly so much, he'd divorce her in a heartbeat.

Becky returned to the kitchen in time to offer more soup, and while the men were finishing that, she cut huge pieces of cake for them.

"Gosh, Beck, I'm stuffed!" Rob grinned at his sister. "Thanks for the meal. I feel human again."

"There weren't too many places to eat where we were at this time, honey," Trevor explained. "We ate a lot of hot dogs from the gas station."

  "Gross!" Becky said with sympathy.

"It's okay once in a while, but not every day for a week," Rob growled, getting to his feet. "Thanks again, Beck. I'll see you at work Monday, Trevor."

"Rob, you need to sit Holly down and tell her to stop acting like a spoiled brat," Becky said earnestly.

"Rebecca Marie, you were warned earlier. Go upstairs and wait for me," Trevor didn't feel the least bit guilty about speaking firmly to her in front of Rob.

"You aren't being fair, Trevor!" she argued immediately. "Rob is my twin and I care about him. I can't stand to see Holly making him so miserable all the time."

"There is good in Holly, too, sis," Rob said quietly. "Stop worrying. I'm a big boy and I can handle Holly without your help."

"The problem is that you haven't been handling her at all, and it shows," Becky dared to say, and in the next second Trevor's hand landed on her backside. "Owww!" she complained, turning to glare at him.

"You get your cute little butt upstairs right now, Rebecca Marie Peterson. You are digging yourself in so deep you'll be lucky to see daylight for a week!"

Becky heard the edge in Trevor's voice that warned her he was out of patience, and she hurried to do as she was told. If it was anyone else but Rob standing there she would have been humiliated beyond belief, but her brother already knew that Trevor spanked her. He also knew that she needed the spanking to help her control her flaming temper and her tendency to do outrageous things.

Rob was convinced that Trevor was the only man, other than their Dad, who could handle the feisty little redhead. Spanking worked for Trevor and Becky, but he doubted it would help with Holly. She'd just call him a pervert or an abuser and file for divorce. He was positive of it, and it was the only reason he hadn't turned her over his knee.

"I'm sorry Beck keeps ragging on you, Rob. You just need to tell her to butt out." Trevor was damn tired of having to gag his wife where her brother's marriage was concerned. It was no secret that she didn't care for the way Holly behaved, and considered the blond lazy and selfish.

"I know she means well, Trevor. Beck just doesn't understand that Holly wasn't raised the same as we were. I keep hoping she'll come around once she settles down a bit."

"I hope so," Trevor replied noncommittally. He rather expected that Rob made a huge mistake in choosing a wife, but it wasn't his place to point that out. He walked Rob to the door and said good night. Once he was certain the leftover soup was put away, and the cake covered, and their dirty dishes loaded in the dishwasher, Trevor locked up the house and turned off the lights and headed upstairs. He had a wife who needed spanking, and tired or not, he was going to make it a spanking to remember for more than a day or two! He was tired o
f her constant harping on the subject of Holly.

When he walked into the bedroom he expected to find Becky waiting in the corner with her butt bare. Instead, she was in bed, reading a book. "Why aren't you in the corner waiting for a spanking?" he demanded.

"Because I don't think I've done anything to deserve a spanking," she replied, her chin going up a notch or two.

"You ignored my warning, Becky, and you continued to give your brother unwanted, unasked for, advice about his marriage."

"Someone has to talk sense to him," she countered.

"He knows how you feel, Beck. He just doesn't agree with your opinion."

"He's going to end up divorced if he doesn't do something."

"Maybe that would be for the best. Holly isn't going to come around and suddenly be the type of wife he wants."

"You don't think she's capable of change?" Becky was shocked by Trevor's statement.

"I didn't say that. I just don't think that she wants to change. Her priorities are different than Rob's." He paused, and then stated, "We aren't discussing them, however. We are talking about your constant butting in and telling your brother what he should and shouldn't be doing. I gave you a warning, and just a few minutes later, you are right back at it, Becky Ree. Another warning, and you persisted... even after I told you to come up here and you knew you were in for a spanking! You defied me. And now, you are lying here in bed as if you didn't know what to expect. Seems to me you really need a punishment to remember, and reminders nightly for a while." He had the satisfaction of watching her blue eyes widen in dismay as she realized she was in serious trouble.

"But, Trevor, you don't understand!" she argued. "Rob isn't just my brother, he is my twin! There is a big difference. I can't just ignore the way Holly treats him."

"You've tried that excuse before, and it doesn't work, Beck. You are in some major trouble right now, and you can haul yourself up and out of that bed and put your nose in the corner where it belongs."

"I'm not through discussing this!" she argued heatedly.

"Rebecca Marie, you are going to be writing lines until your hand falls off," he warned quietly. "Corner NOW!"

Becky got out of bed and stomped over to the corner. Her next bit of defiance was in not pulling up the long tee she was wearing. Trevor walked over and slapped her bottom hard. "Get this up now!" he ordered firmly. Becky stuck out her tongue, but she pulled up the garment to reveal her bottom. Trevor could see the imprint of his hand on her right cheek and suspected it was burning like crazy. "You stand here and think about your behavior, Beck. You are in serious trouble, and it doesn't please me to have to deal with a sassy attitude the minute I'm home."

"Then don't deal with it!" Becky retorted, tears filling her eyes. "You have no idea how deeply concerned I am for Rob. His marriage is making him miserable. I can FEEL that, Trevor! It's unfair of you to tell me to mind my own business when I can FEEL what Rob is going through."

"Maybe that is true, Becky Ree, but are you aware that you are just adding to Rob's stress by complaining about Holly all the time. He wants to please you, he wants to please his wife, and the two of you are making him crazy. I can't do a darn thing about Holly, but I can guarantee that you are going to stop giving Rob a hard time about his marriage. It does not concern you how he handles Holly."

"My parents are going to be upset if he gets a divorce. It just isn't done in our family... and I won't let Holly do that to Rob!" Becky tearfully declared.

"You are going to butt out, young lady. Now stand there and think about your behavior since I got home. I don't know what has gotten into you, but I guarantee a good spanking will make you reconsider defying me." Trevor went into their bathroom and turned the shower on. He stripped down, and spent several minutes under the hot spray, trying to relax and calm his temper. He really didn't know why Becky was feeling such a sense of urgency about Rob and Holly's marriage, but she needed to butt out and leave it to Rob to handle. She simply couldn't continue giving him advice he didn't want or need. And, he frowned as he toweled off, he wasn't about to permit Becky to behave like a defiant brat.

Becky did her best to calm down while her husband was in the shower. She was acting out, and he didn't even know to what extent... yet! It was true that she'd ignored his warnings, and she had defied him by crawling in bed to read instead of waiting in the corner as she was supposed to do. Talking back to Trevor was one sure way to earn a more serious punishment, and she'd done that, too. Her only choice right now was to apologize and hope it lessened the spanking she was going to get. It wouldn't, of course, but she could still hope it would.

She heard him pad barefoot to his dresser and pictured him taking out his favorite pair of sweat pants and putting them on. She waited until he was standing close behind her and she said, "Trevor, I'm sorry about acting like a brat tonight. I wish I could have a do-over. I would respect your first warning and do my best to show you how much I've missed you this week. I am sorry, honey," she said sincerely.

"I'm glad to hear that, Becky Ree, but you know you earned a spanking, and I don't believe in do-overs. Let's get this done. Come over to the bed and lie over the side."

Becky knew there was no point in arguing with Trevor. It would just make the spanking worse if she did. She took a deep breath, and walked over to the bed, pulled the tee shirt up high and then bent over the side of the mattress. She hated wooden paddles, but she was fairly certain that Trevor was going to take out the long thin paddle made of African Mahogany. The paddle was very thin, but it left a furious sting wherever it landed. Her bottom clenched in anticipation as she heard Trevor open the nightstand drawer and take out an implement. She'd made sure that all of the wooden ones were on the bottom of the drawer, but that didn't prevent Trevor from rooting around until he found the one he wanted. She knew it had to be wooden because the leather ones were on top. She sighed deeply, and wished a bit of her husband would rub off on her twin. Holly was the one who needed a paddling...

Trevor shook his head and wondered what his wife was up to. She obviously was expecting a spanking since she'd rearranged the implement drawer, hiding all the wood on the bottom. She should realize by now that it wouldn't do a bit of good. If he wanted to use wood, he would use wood, even if he had to go out into his workshop and make a new one while she waited. Becky Ree needed spanking in the worst way tonight, and he was going to make sure she went to sleep with a soundly spanked bottom.

Becky tensed up when she felt Trevor sit on the bed beside her, but the expected crack did not happen. She dared to look up at him and found him looking at her in exasperation.

"Why did you hide all the wooden implements underneath the leather ones, Becky?" he asked.

"I don't like wood," she promptly replied. "Can't blame me for trying to protect my butt."

"I don't like your attitude tonight," he said without a smile. "You are going to be writing lines this weekend and getting reminder spankings at bedtime. He emphasized his words by giving her rounded bottom a hard crack with the paddle she disliked the most because it was so stingy.

"Owwww! Trevor! You don't have to be so mean!" Becky exclaimed, pushing herself up. "That wasn't fair of you at all!" Trevor just pushed her back down and started paddling her bare posterior in earnest. Becky howled and kicked her feet, but she was powerless to protect herself. The hard spanking abruptly brought her to her senses and she realized how very upset Trevor was with her behavior of the evening. She wished she'd kept her mouth shut! "Trevor, stop!" she yelled. "I'm sorry!"

"Not as sorry as you're going to be," he replied, wondering how many other DD husbands used those same words as often as he did. "You went out of your way to earn a paddling tonight, and I'm going to make sure you get your money's worth," he promised, continuing to sting her bottom and upper thighs with the lightweight paddle he'd crafted himself. The board was long enough to cover both cheeks at once if he wanted to, and he knew the sting was unbearable when he used it as he was now. His wife needed a sh
arp lesson, and she would be crying herself to sleep tonight. He wasn't going to permit her to act like a brat.

"I'm really sorry, Trevor, but you just don't understand! I can FEEL when Rob is unhappy, and he is in terrible pain. I can't ignore that! Owwwww! I can't! It makes me crazy!" Becky started bawling, sobbing as if her heart was breaking. She thought that Trevor would stop and offer her some sympathy, but he didn't. He continued to spank her with that awful paddle, stinging her sensitive skin until she thought she would die! Her sit spot was his focus now, and she finally stopped struggling and fighting the spanking. Trevor wasn't going to stop until she did, and she was out of energy to protest the paddling. "I'm sorry!" she managed to cry once more. "Please, honey.... I'm so sorry now!" How was she ever to sit tomorrow?

"You are going to butt out of Rob and Holly's marriage, and that is final. Do you hear me, Rebecca Marie?" Trevor demanded.

"Yes!" she replied. She heard him all right, but that didn't mean she was going to obey him! Rob was her twin!

"Good," Trevor put the paddle on top of the night stand. "You can just go to bed right now, young lady. Tomorrow you will be writing lines until your hand falls off," he promised. "And, your nightly reminders are going to continue until I see a huge improvement in your attitude. You are my wife, Rebecca, and I will not permit you to defy me and ignore my wishs. Is that understood?" he demanded firmly.

"Yes, Trevor," Rebecca answered through her tears. Rob tucked her in, shut off the lights and left the room. Becky did indeed cry herself to sleep. She looked so forward to Trevor's homecoming, and she'd spoiled it for both of them.

  Chapter Two

Rob was lost in thought as he drove the rest of the way home. He was pretty darn sure his twin was getting her backside warmed proper right now, and he felt guilty about being the cause. Trevor didn't understand that Becky could tell when he was upset, and that it made her want to 'fix' things for him. He was the same when she was upset. It was a special bond between them, and he was at the point of knowing he had to deal with Holly. His marriage was in trouble, and it was making Becky crazy. It wasn't fair to her... or to Trevor... for him to be so upset all the time. No, he had to sit Holly down and talk to her. Hopefully, she would be in a better frame of mind when he got home tonight.
