A Good Girl is an Easy Sacrifice

Johnny Manley has a problem. When he loves a girl, he gets too invested. He longs to lose himself in the needs of his mate. But Johnny understands that this is no good for him. He knows he needs to change. He meets Dominique Thomas, a young girl fresh from the Caribbean. Johnny knows he needs to find new ways to relate to women. He hopes sweet Dominique can help him overcome. But if Johnny is to succeed, if he is to flourish and thrive, he will first have to make a sacrifice. Something about him must change. What might it be? Perhaps something to do with his illusions about women, good girls.

  Five Finger Discount

Included in BEST GAY EROTICA 2014 from Cleis Press!

In “Five Finger Discount,” Jimmy Manley is caught shoplifting by Emil Bogdon, an immigrant security guard who doesn’t speak English terribly well. Jimmy has enjoyed hustling gay men in the past but is quite concerned with maintaining the appearance of an heterosexual all American boy. He thinks he has agreed to let Bogdon take him on a “little trip to heaven” in exchange for his freedom, but Bogdon is not as concerned as Jimmy with the appearance of heterosexuality in American boys. Bogdon cares about only one thing, which thing he makes abundantly clear to Jimmy when he unbuckles his belt, opens his pants, and lowers his fly. Before the afternoon is over, Jimmy will have to make a tough choice: Will he choose to earn his freedom with Bogdon the only way he can (the “hard” way, of course!), or will he continue on as he has in the past, a slave to appearances?

  Men’s Room

In “MEN’S ROOM,” Joanie Salinger invites Moe Dice, good friends with her former boyfriend Roger Bones, to have sex with her in one of the bathrooms at Carnal High. At first excited, Moe soon realizes he is being used and takes off, leaving Joanie frustrated and angry. The mysterious Don Manley—Mr. Manley to Joanie— comes in to use the urinal. Don says he can offer Joanie the kind of relief she’s looking for but suggests she carefully consider her options. Ignoring Mr. Manley’s warning, Joanie lets this strange man satisfy her needs. When another man comes in to use the facilities, Joanie is at first humiliated, but soon discovers she can’t resist her own strong cravings and ends up having sex with him, too. Moe eventually returns, this time with Roger in tow, and Joanie learns that Mr. Manley’s cryptic offer for relief has come true—she no longer wants to hurt her former boyfriend, but now she finds herself burdened with an even stronger, more complicated desire. As Don softly encourages her, she swallows her pride, slips to her knees, and offers both Moe and her former boyfriend an unexpected “truce.” In the little town of Carnal, everyone is driven by desire, and no one leaves town a virgin.

  Dirty Business

In “Dirty Business,” Joe Murphy, a down-on-his-luck real estate broker, lands a big deal with young Donnell Blackman and his out-of-town gang of street toughs. Veronica Smith, the beautiful teenage daughter of one of Joe’s business associates, shows up and—in a fit of wild sexual self-expression and unrestrained capitalism—agrees to do anything Donnell asks for some more of his drugs. Joe knows Veronica has just signed herself up for a night of sexual payback she won’t soon forget. Watching her make good on her word, he tries to remain professional, keep his own business with Donnell on track. But when one of the boys goes too far with Veronica, Joe stands up for her, and suddenly finds himself at odds with a most dangerous crew. To save his business, Veronica’s welfare, and maybe even his own life, Joe finds he may have to do a little “dirty business” of his own—with his partner’s lovely daughter!—as the out-of-town boys watch.

  American Girl

In “American Girl,” Rafia Saad longs to be part of the in-crowd at her new high school. She meets Veronica Smith, one of Carnal High’s most popular seniors, who is only too eager to help shy Rafia find an appropriate place in the school’s social hierarchy. Veronica invites Rafia to a summer house party. But the position Veronica has in mind for Rafia involves one of the upstairs guest rooms and most of the boys in the senior class. Like a merry-go-round in a naughty amusement park, Rafia may end up giving each of her classmates a little spin.

  Bench Warrant

In “Bench Warrant,” Gloria Dean is back. This time the police find Gloria in a compromising position in a public park. When the Canal police play “good cop, bad cop,” you better believe they aren’t looking for a confession. But sweet Gloria doesn’t know this. After she finishes satisfying the kind young officer, she realizes—much to her chagrin—that she may have to ride the nightstick of the surly older cop, too.

  Tricked

In “Tricked,” Jimmy Manley learns something he didn’t know about hustling gay men from Roger Bones, a high school dropout and ne’er do well. For a small fee—and unbeknownst to poor Jimmy—Roger has offered a gay man from the local mall a taste of young Jimmy’s "rod." If Jimmy can hold it together, he will learn some surprising things about himself, hustling gay men, and maybe even earn a few dollars for himself. In the small town of Carnal, everyone is driven by desire, and no one leaves town a virgin.

  Stories from H.G. Lightly

  Cherry, Oh, Baby

In Cherry, Oh, Baby, Cherry, a struggling student-turned-pole-dancer, returns to the ranch home in Southern California that she shares with her butch girlfriend, Tina. To help pay the rent, the girls have taken on a new roommate, Peter, a hot surfer dude who has a penchant for pole dancers and a pretty gnarly “dance pole” of his very own. Tina finds herself in competition with Peter but Tina is not one to “go down” without a fight. Cherry finds herself considering a little dance on a new kind of pole. And poor Peter just wants to find his bird in the bush. Two’s company and three’s a crowd unless these three can find a way to settle their differences.

  Orange You Glad?

In Orange You Glad?, Cherry, Peter and Tina are back at it, trying to figure out how their Three’s Company situation will work out. The three-way was great, with everyone getting a little taste of something new, but now what? Peter still wants Cherry, and he’s not selfish; he’ll share. Tina wants Cherry, but she’s finding sharing to be more difficult than she’d thought; after all, she had Cherry first, doesn’t that count for something? Cherry doesn’t know what the hell she wants, but she does know she doesn’t want to choose. What’s worse, she doesn’t seem to want to limit the playing field; do lesbians still call themselves lesbians when they’re screwing everything in pants? Follow the adventures of our three fruity lovers as they journey through deliciously juicy territory.

  ANTHOLOGIES from PILGRIM PRESS

  Summer Shorts 2

Each issue we bring you a theme. Deliver three stories on that theme. This issue’s theme: acceptance. Some people believe it's the key to a good life. Certainly it's the key to lusty sex. Act one: A teenage girl finds herself in trouble with everyone in her life: her parents, her boyfriend. Everyone. Finally she runs into trouble with the local police. She feels judged. She does what any eighteen year old might do in this situation: she acts out. With the police. If she's willing to accept the lusty plea-bargain offered to her by the handsome arresting officer, she may just find a way to silence the judge. Grind her way to be happiness. Act two: We follow a pair of broke teenage boys at the mall. One of the boys is struggling to accept something about himself that his friend has already known for a long time. The other boy just wants to make some easy money. If the boy who is struggling can accept his strong desire to sink his cock into another man's mouth, he may just learn something about himself, hustling gay men, and his friend that he didn't realize. Act three: An eighteen year old schoolgirl finds a special kind of "relief" in the Men's room during a high school basketball game. Will she accept it?

  Summer Shorts

Carnal is a small town where you learn early on to always “accommodate your neighbor’s needs,” as Joe Murphy mentions in the first story, “The Sitter Needs a Ride.” Joe should know: he has offered a teenage girl from the local church an opportunity to earn the esteem of her aunt by babysitting his children. Imagine
Joe’s surprise, then, when he discovers that young Gloria Dean is blowing some boy when she is supposed to be watching his kids. After getting rid of the boy, Joe will have to take Gloria home in his car. But before the night is through, Joe’s Volvo may not be the only thing sweet Gloria will get to ride.

All the girls in these stories are strong and independent. They’re smart. The girls from Summer Shorts have hidden reserves they may not even fully understand themselves. In “A Small Favor,” Don Manley finds a lonely runaway at one of Carnal’s local AA meetings. He offers her a lift home and discovers she wants something from him. Don will yield to his own needs time and again, eventually deciding to give this young girl a little surprise, but he may be in for a small, pleasant surprise of his own.

Whatever awaits Don, it will not be the kind of surprise that young Roger Bones receives from Joanie Salinger, the blue-haired girl wearing a Carnal High T-shirt in the story, "Goodbye Roger." This sexy little tart leaves us with found footage that documents her shameless cuckolding of her former boyfriend, who presumably cheated on her, and probably deserves everything he gets. Especially if what he got was a copy of this sweltering video produced just for him by this little hottie.

  Dirty True Confessions

Huck Pilgrim spans the globe searching for people willing to share their most shameful sexual secrets with you. It’s all here: the shame, humiliation, and degradation.

The Debutante’s Fall: A wealthy socialite confesses that as a sophomore in college she prostituted herself for drugs in one of the most degrading and humiliating sexual experience of her life. She attempts to get out of the deal but it's too late. One of the dealer's henchmen forces her to make good on her word. Taking her to a rowdy bar where only he can protect her, he has her remove her pants and then climb into his lap. She gives him a lap dance, performing for the whole bar like a cheap little slut. But that is only the beginning. Things get much worse for our little confessor when she discovers that she enjoys being humiliated and degraded. She breathlessly recounts the entire ordeal in vivid detail. She learns an important life lesson as a result of her suffering, but perhaps the most startling confession she makes is that—many years later—this married, young mother still fantasizes about her big black lover, the same man who treated her so rudely, forcing her to submit to his every whim.

He Sends his Regrets: A young man at an Ivy League school finds a good friend of his passed out on a couch after a party. She is an attractive girl, from a wealthy family. He touches her knee. He softly says her name. She is really drunk. Too drunk to remember him the next morning. Too drunk to keep her knees closed. Too drunk to prevent him from lifting her skirt or tugging her panties down. For many years he believes he got away with his crime. But his lack of self-control, his guilt all weigh upon him. He can't sustain a marriage, can't bond with a woman. He is eventually convicted, but it doesn't happen in any court. He meets another woman, a woman much like himself. It turns out she needs "a male friend, someone close who doesn't matter much, a person she could simply use and discard." He confesses that he has become his own judge, jury and executioner. He pays for his crime. Believe me, he pays.

The Price of Fame: A father struggles with the weight of knowing that he has unwittingly helped his teenage daughter become a porn star.

Finally he meets a lady, a woman so much like himself it's frightening. Only he doesn't realize this at first. She is a very needy woman, but it's not really sex she's after. He is drawn to her, and she uses him. Badly. She has no choice. Recovering from her own sexual abuse, she humiliates him. Degrades him. And the most amazing thing? Our poor confessor allows it. He must! For he knows that he is guilty. He knows he is not worthy. He has become his own judge, his own jury. And he wants to pay for his crimes. And he does--believe me, he pays. He has many regrets. And he pays for them all. He pays and pays and pays.
