"Lieutenant Treen, congratulations on a successful campaign," Captain Rokie Lin said to the lieutenant as he climbed out of the starship.

"Thank you Captain. It was a fortunate turn of events that the humans crash landed and made the city paranoid of an invasion. We had to act fast but commandeering the starship battalion was the best way to officially announce our succession from the city of Konthos."

The Kalazaron that had gathered around cheered at the lieutenant’s words. This is what the rebels had been planning for so long. This one moment had been carefully planned for a year. Now the rebellion had officially started and they did not have to hide anymore.

The Outlands were the perfect location for the rebels to live. It was too far for the warrior battalion's to reach quickly without using starships. The rebels could hold up in their stronghold for more than a year inside the mountain. This meant that they would not be overtaken easily. They two were trained Kalazaron warriors and it would be an equal fight. It would take several months before the city of Konthos knew how to respond to the rebel threat. That of course was after they found the base in the mountain, which would probably take them several months to do as well. They would now have their hands full with the knowledge of the humans and Earth to deal with. This would buy the rebels some time as well.

"What is that?" Captain Lin said as Tiffany and one other mail order bride was escorted out of one of the ships.

"These are two human females. We thought it would be beneficial to take two of their slaves. They are new creatures and there is much to learn about them, "Lieutenant Treen said to the captain.

"Escort them inside for questioning," the captain said.

As Tiffany looked around she realized that she was in an area that reminded her of the Grand Canyon on Earth. There were tall limestone like walls that were blue instead of red and brown. The mountainside was very high and strong and there was a vast square cut into it that led deep into the mountain. Around that entrance were smaller huts with outdoor tables set up almost like a market. It looked as though moments before people were busy going about their day just as she had witnessed in the city of Konthos. However now those stations were abandoned as everyone had gathered to watch the landing of the starships and now they were all staring at her. She felt very frightened, even more so than she had felt inside the warehouse where she was being experimented on. However when two warriors came into their quarters and asked for volunteers, she had no idea what she was getting into. She only knew that the other brides seemed very frightened and she wanted to relieve them of that fright and take their place. She knew that she was strong enough to handle whatever she was volunteering for. However she had no idea that it would be this extreme. How could she know that there was a Civil War about to start in the city of Konthos among the Kalazaron. She did not know that she was unwittingly putting herself in that war. As she looked around she realized how desolate the area was and that this base was the only thing for miles. This would be her new home and she did not know if she would ever return to the city let alone Earth.

"Do not worry human female you are quite safe here, "Lieutenant Treen said to Tiffany as he realized how nervous she was. "I spoke with Meera. She was very pleasant and I enjoyed her company."

"Meera? I have not seen her since the crash. We have all been so worried about her. Please tell me why did she not join us and where has she been? Is she all right?" Tiffany pleaded with the Lieutenant.

He looked at Tiffany's soft features and realized that he would enjoy her company the same way that he enjoyed Meera and he was glad that she had volunteered to come.

"Last I saw of Meera she was safe. She was with the commander and he has taken quite a liking to her and is treating her very well. Perhaps too well," the lieutenant said.

"I am glad to hear that," Tiffany said.

"Come, I will get you settled in. We have much to learn from you humans," the lieutenant said as he let her inside the base of the mountain into a small apartment where she would call home for the rest of her life.

Over the course of the next year the Lieutenant Treen and Tiffany became closer. He taught her the ways of the Kalazaron and she taught him about humans and Earth. He had little time for her because he was leading a rebellion. However they grew closer and closer finally becoming lovers.

As for the Outlands base and outpost it would last for years to come as well as the rebellion. The self-sustaining society on the outlands grew with time. They had everything they needed and as they became accustomed to their natural environment they learned to live off of the natural abundance of the land.

It wasn't until several years later that the city of Konthos found the Outland base. They built an outpost across from the base several miles away. This base would be an outpost that would inhabit warriors for years to come in order to continue fighting the rebellion.

Many warriors would be sent there throughout the decades to fight small battles that would erupt between the rebels and the Konthos citizens. They tried doing air raids on the base but the stronghold was too well-built and did nothing to it. There battles were mostly on foot infantry against infantry and because the warriors were very skilled on both sides there were hardly any winners and mostly stalemates. This is how the Outland area environment would be for many years.

  CHAPTER EIGHT

Commander Baku Janga was summoned in front of the Masters. They had decided on the fate of the humans that had crash landed and they wanted Baku to take charge of the plans.

"Commander we have decided to send two of the humans back to Earth. We want you to oversee fixing their starship and sending them on their way," Master Treen ordered.

"Two humans? This is your Decision? Then the humans will know about our existence in an absolute manner. It is still possible that the humans that we have here were telling the truth and they did crash land and there is no human invasion threat," the commander nervously said. He was hoping that one of the two humans would not be his human, Meera.

"Yes, we have decided that we want the humans to know of our existence. We are giving a message to the two humans that we send back to earth. We are sending instructions that any earth ship that enters our airspace will be commandeered by us and not returned. We will keep their humans that are aboard the ship. We want them to know of are superior strength. We still do not know if the humans we have are telling the truth perhaps Earth already knows of our existence. If they do not know, then we want them to know. We want them to be curious. We want to lure them here and take as many humans as slaves as possible. That is the future of the Kalazaron. Are your instructions understood?"

"Yes master," the commander said. "Which humans are to be sent back?" He asked.

"Two males. The captain known as Captain Steck and another crewmate of his choosing to help him pilot their starship."

The commander was relieved to hear that it would not be his human female and that they would only be departing with the males. He bowed to the Masters and left to began his orders.

He allowed Meera and the other females to converse with the captain and send any messages home that they wanted to send for their fate was on Kaethon forever. They would not be returning to Earth and they would not be headed to the mining planet of Suvell like they had thought they were.

The starship from Earth was launched with Captain Steck and another male crewmate. They made it safely back to Earth and spread the knowledge about the Kalazaron. The little bit of information that the Kalazaron sent with the captain would become the information that was studied by the human population for centuries to come. Earthlings now knew about the Kalazaron race and where the planet Kaethon was in the galaxies. This knowledge would lead to many future encounters and relations between the two races.

  EARTH EPILOGUE

Captain Steck’s return to Earth without the cargo he left with caused extreme outrage and led the Captain and his crewmate into many years of investigation and trials. Some did not believe that the Kalazaro
n existed, but those that had seen what the Captain brought with him knew that they did. In his possession on the starship were things that only the Kalazaron possessed. They had sent the Captain back to Earth with a few items of their technology such as projection tool filled with an encyclopedia of sorts about the Kalazaron and the city of Konthos. Of course the Kalazaron were careful not to put any information that would be vital for an attack. Instead it was only pieces of information, but it was enough to prove their existence. On Earth in the political circles talks of a rescue mission were fought over for years. The mining mail order brides ships were given a new space travel route to take, however over the years to come a mail order bride ship would disappear without a trace. It was thought to be captured by the Kalazaron pirates, but there was never any way to prove it.

The small amounts of information that the Kalazaron sent about who they were was studied for years at Universities and scientist would base entire careers on them, trying to figure out whom they really were. In later years scientist would launch space missions into the far reaches of the galaxies to study and a few would come in contact with the Kalazaron, but they would never return to Earth.
