The Great Gate

Meanwhile, just outside the main hangar, Kilgron placed his hand on Lonan’s shoulder. “You and your teams did a great job. You’ve saved our people and helped to put an end to a terrible reign of evil men.”

As he spoke a little girl from the slave camp was walking off the transport. She smiled at Lonan and waved. He smiled and waved back.

Tekel, Balim and Genon flew down and landed beside Lonan and the others. Balim nodded in Lonan’s direction. Armon turned to the angels and said, “Thank you for your help.”

“This is only a temporary victory,” answered Tekel. “Satan will be back. He will cower in this cave as he heals. He has other armies of men in other galaxies, and he will gather his demons to him once again.”

“But Maginon is dead. I saw Satan kill him.”

“It doesn’t matter,” added Balim. “He’ll enslave another pawn to do his will.”

“We need to go and warn other solar systems,” said Lonan.

“You’re right,” responded Armon. “If they are prepared, there’ll be less destruction.”

Cloin added, “We need to train more Seberians. God has told me that the time has come.”

“Yes,” answered Tekel as he and other angels nodded in agreement.

“This war was been going on for millennia,” added Balim. “But it will end one day.”

As he spoke things began to stir in heaven. He and the other angels could see the heavenly activity in their minds eye. They could see, one by one, their angel brothers who had been killed in these recent wars appearing alive in heaven.

Meanwhile back at the great gate, the doors suddenly opened a small amount and an immense heavenly white light poured into creation.

In a brilliantly lit chamber in the heart of heaven a man knelt on the floor covered in a simple, brown hooded cape. He knelt motionless with his head hung low and two blades sheathed on his back. Suddenly his head lifted, his eyes opened, and a blinding-white light radiated from under the hood of his cape.

Tekel and the other angels smiled as they saw this man in preparation.

“God is preparing his ultimate warrior,” said Tekel. “He is the original soldier of hope, the original Seberian. He is far more powerful than any us, and He will end this war for all time.”

The story continues in Seberian, Declaration of War.

I really hope that you’re enjoying the Seberian Series. This story is pre-Messiah, but he is coming. My hope in writing this story was to go back to beginning and re-tell the fall of creation from a fresh Science Fiction perspective. It seems sometimes that telling a story from a parallel perspective can make it more understandable or fresh.

The goal that I feel that God has given me in this is to show that there is a spiritual battle going on and that He is still on our side. And most importantly that He sent Jesus to “destroy the work of the Devil’s work,” (I John 3:8) and that we have victory over the enemy through Jesus.

That is where this story is going.

As I mentioned before this project started as a movie script and it’s our goal to produce it as a live-action feature length film. The angel character Tekel that you see on the cover is one of the props that we built.
