LEGEND: A Dark High School Bully Romance (Rosewood High Book 7)

His grip on my hair tightens, the pain so fucking addicting as he pushes me closer and closer to another release.
“Give it to me, Kitten. Give me everything.”
“Kyle,” I cry, my body quaking with the strength of my release.
“Who do you belong to, Kitten?” he asks between powerful thrusts as he chases his own orgasm.
“You, Kyle. Only ever you.”
“Fuck yes,” he booms as his cock jerks violently inside me.
He falls forward, his hot chest pressed against my sweat covered back.
Wrapping one hand around my neck and the other around my waist, he holds me tightly to him.
“Never fucking forget it,” he whispers in my ear. “I’ll go to the ends of the earth to find you, Kitten.”
I nod, too overwhelmed by him and my intense release to respond.
“I love you. I love you so fucking much.”
Standing, he pulls me up with him and drops his hand down my stomach until he finds my swollen folds.
I want to tell him no more, but he bypasses my clit and drops straight to my entrance, dipping his finger into the evidence of our multiple releases that I can feel beginning to run down my thighs.
“Me and you, Kitten. Me and you.”
His lips find the side of my neck and he presses them there for the longest time as the fresh early evening air cools our heated skin.
“Ready to relax?” he whispers in my ear when I shiver in his arms.
“I should probably go clean up first.”
“Be quick.”
He swats me on the ass as I walk away, my skin tingling with his attention until I disappear into the cabin and all but run to the bathroom so I can get back to him quicker.

Kyle
I can’t stop the smile that splits my face as I watch her slip into the cabin.
I knew going along with Stella’s crazy plan was a risk and I told myself over and over on the drive here that being sent away again was the most likely outcome to this little stunt. But even with repeating that in my head, I couldn’t stop my hopes from rising.
Stella thought she was ready to talk, to clear the air and consider the future. I had to trust she was right.
The moment Harley’s shocked and angry eyes locked on mine, my heart dropped and I knew that Stella was wrong.
Fuck knows how I managed to change her mind, but I’ll be forever grateful for whatever it was.
Unable to wipe the smile off my face, I flip the lid on the hot tub and climb in, allowing the hot water to soothe my muscles.
I rest back, looking out over the sea of trees before me, and rest my head back, wondering how I’ve managed to land myself here.
You’re a lucky motherfucker, a little voice says in my head as I hear footsteps heading my way.
Looking to the side, I find my girl, still fully naked and with two bottles of beer in both hands.
“I’ve died and gone to heaven,” I say, my eyes feasting on her bronzed, beautiful skin.
“This place is pretty insane.”
“I’m not talking about the place, Kitten. You could be walking to me like that in my old trailer and I’d still be in paradise.”
A shy smile curls at her lips.
“Too late for that, Kitten. I’ve already had you twice tonight, and I can tell you now that there’s more yet to come.”
“Oh yeah?” Fire burns bright in her dark eyes as she steps up to the tub and drops her gaze to my body. It’s hidden by the water but I’m sure she sees enough to know I’m hard again.
Reaching for myself, I wrap my fingers around my length and start jerking off.
Her teeth sink into her bottom lips as she watches my movement.
“You’re insatiable.”
“I’ve been waiting for you for a long time, Harley.”
“It’s been a few days,” she mutters, placing the beers in the drink holders and climbs in with me.
“Harley,” I say with a smile, dragging her over by her hips and planting her on my lap. “I’ve wanted you for as long as I can remember. You were the first girl I ever really saw. No one else has ever compared to you.”
“Ky,” she breathes, snuggling into my side as I wrap my arms around her and hold her tight.
“It’s always been you, Kitten.”
She falls silent in my arms, probably remembering all the things I’ve done to prove the words I just said aren’t true. But none of my actions were not because I didn’t want her.
“I always thought you deserved better,” I whisper, answering her unspoken questions. “I always knew that you’d get out of the Creek one day and make a better life for yourself. I knew that if anything happened between us, that I’d always hold you back. And of course there was always the little issue of Zayn digging me an early grave if I even looked at you a little too long.”
She tenses against me as I mention her brother.
“It’s okay, Har. He knows everything.”
“And you’re still breathing?”
“He’s screwing one of your best friends. He didn’t really have a leg to stand on.”
“It’s true but I didn’t think he’d let that stand in his way.”
“I talked him around to it. I have a way with words.”
“It seems you do because when I first found you here earlier, I wanted to stab you with a blunt knife and look at me now.”
She wiggles on my lap and I groan in frustration.
I twist her in my arms so she straddles my lap and I can look into her eyes. “I meant every word I said to you, you know that, right?”
“I do…”
“But?” I prompt when she loses herself in her thoughts once again.
“You still hurt me, Kyle. Just because I’ve accepted your apology, it doesn’t mean I’ve forgotten.”
“I know, Kitten,” I say, reaching up and cupping her cheek. She leans into my touch and it’s all I need to know that there really is a future for us from here on out. “I don’t expect you to forget just like that, but I can’t tell you enough how much I appreciate you giving me a chance.”
She nods at me, sucking her bottom lip into her mouth.
“Spit it out, Har. No more secrets, remember.”
“That’s just it,” she says almost nervously. “Is there anything else I need to know?”
“No, the only thing I was hiding was Gr—” Her hand lands over my mouth and she shakes her head. “Okay,” I agree, not saying his name out loud.
“You’re not… you’re not… involved with anything from the Creek, are you?” she asks hesitantly.
“No, Kitten. The other night was the first time I’d been back there. I have no intention of ever doing so again either.”
She nods, accepting my answer.
“What about Kane?”
Unease zips through me at the mention of my brother. We’ve yet to have a decent conversation about how he knew where she was so fast because he’s barely been at the house since. I already had my suspicions about what he’s doing and it only made them worse.
I know who he was involved with before I went away, and I’m terrified that he’s only got in deeper since being gone and losing Gran.
“I… I don’t know. He won’t tell me fuck all but honestly… I’m scared.”
“Shit,” she mutters. “He needs to leave all that bullshit behind.”
“I couldn’t agree more. But you know as well as I do that it’s easier said than done if what we’re both thinking is true.”
“We need to help. We need to do something. We need—”
“Har,” I say, cutting off her words. “I agree, of course I do. But we can’t get involved. Kane will do whatever he wants, no matter what we think or do about it. And interfering will only make whatever he’s doing more dangerous. We need to leave him to it and trust that he knows what he’s doing.
“He’s a good person beneath it all. We’ve got to believe that will win in the end.”
/> We both fall silent, only the sounds of our breathing and the jets beneath us filling my ears.
“Does Letty know we’re in Rosewood?” I ask, needing to break the silence and the concern that’s coming off her in waves. Not that I think my question will alleviate any of that.
“Not that I know of. I haven’t spoken to her in weeks, and I know Mom hasn’t either. I’m worried about her,” she admits.
“I’m sure she’s fine. She’s off at college enjoying herself. Isn’t forgetting home and your family what you’re supposed to do?”
She shrugs and falls forward into my chest.
“Everything will be fine, Har. I promise.” Granted, it’s a pretty lofty promise to make, but with her by my side, I’m pretty confident I can keep it. And ultimately, our siblings’ lives have nothing to do with us really. It won’t be long and we’ll be heading off to college and embarking on the beginning of the rest of our lives. We’re better off focusing on that than things we have zero control over.
The rest of our stay at the cabin was more than I ever could have wished for.
We spent hours talking about our childhoods, opening up about how we felt about each other and we’ve discussed what happens from here on out.
I’m not stupid, I know I’m still in the doghouse and have a lot of things to make up for, but I fully intend on doing so.
After we got out of the hot tub that first night, I stayed. Harley called Stella and ripped her a new one for her stunt. I could barely hold it together as she faked being angry with her friend. Credit where credit’s due, she’s a better actress than I ever gave her credit for, even I almost believed she was still angry.
When she finally came clean, she could barely stand she was laughing so hard. Seeing the pure delight on her face as she roared with laughter made my entire year. I pulled her into my arms and held her tight as tears of joy streamed down her face.
By the time we both climb into Stella’s Porsche to drive back to Rosewood, I’m happier than I ever remember being.
“This is one sweet ride,” I say, flooring the accelerator and throwing us both back into our seats with the force. “Makes this whole trip worth it,” I deadpan.
“Keep going it’ll be the last ride you get,” she sasses, sliding her hand up my thigh until she’s cupping my semi. She traces the outline through my sweats ensuring it’s at full mast in seconds.
“Kitten,” I growl. “We’ve got a long-ass drive, and unless you intend on following through, then I suggest you stop.”
“I’d rather not have to grovel to Stella because you crashed her baby,” she says, pulling her hand away from me.
I snatch it up before she drops it back in her own lap and I place it back on my thigh.
“I didn’t say stop touching me.” I glance over at her and give her one of my killer smiles that I already know will make her squirm in her seat.
“I’m not ready to go home,” she admits, changing the subject.
“What do you think your mom is going to say?”
She shrugs. “It’s all her fault. She can’t really say anything.”
“You need to give her a break. If it weren’t for her then this might not have happened,” I say threading my fingers through hers and lifting her hand to my lips, kissing her knuckles.
“I’m not mad she did it, I’m mad she didn’t tell me.”
“I know, but like you said, it’s time to focus on the future now.”
“You’re right,” she breathes.
We spend the journey back talking about our futures, what colleges we might want to go to and the things we want from life. It’s incredible.
Not long ago, I didn’t think I had any kind of future ahead of me, certainly not a chance at a decent college. But thanks to Jada, Kane, and the amazing girl beside me. I might just get everything I ever wanted.
We go straight to the Hunter’s house when we finally get back later that night. We walk inside with our hands locked together and wide smiles on our faces. Zayn’s already back, his car was outside but I don’t let it bother me.
We dump our bags in the hallway and make our way down to the den where they’re waiting for us.
Harley pushes the door open and every set of eyes in the room turns toward us.
I pull Harley into my arms and drop my lips to hers, bending her backward as if we’re in an old movie and making a show of claiming her as mine.
Whoops and hollers sound out around the room but they’re soon drowned out when I pull her back up and she slips her tongue into my mouth, deepening the kiss.
I’m powerless to resist her and meet her move for move, holding her flush against my body. That is until something soft hits my head.
“Alright. Just because I said you could, it doesn’t mean you get to rub it in my face, fucker,” Zayn grumps.
“What? Like you don’t do it to me with Poppy.” Harley pins her brother with a death stare after ripping her lips from mine.
“Okay children, calm down,” Stella says, taking control of the situation. She pushes from the couch she was sitting on, walks over and takes Harley off me, wrapping her up in a hug.
“Thank you,” Harley whispers in her ear.
“I got your back, girl. Plus, I had fun with the guys.”
“Hell yeah, she did. Justin and Rich didn’t know what hit them,” Ash announces, making Harley’s eyes almost pop out of her head.
“Tell me you didn’t,” she begs her friend.
“It was just a bit of fun. You’re right about his cock though.” She holds her fingers up, mimicking the size much like Chelsea did as everyone falls over laughing.
“Come and sit down,” Ruby encourages, forcing Ash to shift over on their couch.
“You want sodas?” Poppy asks, walking over to the small refrigerator in here.
“Please,” we say in unison as I drop down onto the couch and pull her onto my lap.
The guys eagerly catch us both up on all the gossip we missed while in our private slice of heaven and the nine of us laugh and enjoy ourselves.
Back in the Creek, I hung out with a group of guys, all of whom I called friends, but it wasn’t until I was locked away that I realized how little we really meant to each other. They never bothered reaching out to me or visiting, and I never invited them.
But this, this feels different. These people surrounding me make me feel like I belong for the first time in my life. They prove to me that things can be better and that I don’t just have to be the guy from the Creek who ended up in juvie. Yes, that might always be a part of who I am, but it’s only a small part.
I smile to myself as I sit back and enjoy the easy banter between the other three couples and Stella, who’s more than capable of holding her own by herself.
Eventually, someone suggests ordering pizza and without planning it, we all spend the entire evening hanging out in Zayn’s den. But as fun as it is, I’m already craving alone time with my girl. I’ve been spoiled this week, it’s going to take a bit of time to get used to sharing her again.
“Wanna get out of here?” I whisper in her ear while the others are distracted.
“Sure. We’re gonna head out,” she announces to the room without even asking me what I had in mind.
She hops up from my lap and I take her hand when she offers it.
We walk down the hallway and when we get to the stairs, she moves as if we’re going to head up.
“Not yet,” I whisper in her ear, pushing her toward the front door.
“Where are we going?” she asks as we walk from her driveway.
“Wait and see.”
It’s not an overly long walk, although more time has passed than I was expecting by the time we step down onto the sand.
“You wanted to come to the beach?” she asks, her brows knitting together.
“Yeah, I thought it might be romantic.”
“You don’t need to make gestures to try to convince me of anything, Ky,” she says, looking up at me.
“I know, and this isn’t a gesture. I just thought it would be nice. Plus, I was getting annoyed with sharing you.”
“Aaand there’s the truth,” she jokes.
“What can I say, I’m a selfish guy.” I shrug like it’s nothing and she laughs at me.
“You’re right, this is nice.”
We walk hand in hand along the damp sand in silence, lost in our own thoughts. A lot has changed for both of us in a very short amount of time, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Even with the pain and heartache, we’ve ended up exactly where we should be.
When we’re between two dunes and hidden from the few other locals out on an evening walk, I pull her to a stop and twist her into my body.
“Hey,” she says, looking up at me with her eyes full of love and happiness.
“Hey, Kitten.”
“What is it?” she asks, clearly sensing that I want to say something important.
“I just want you to know that I’d go through all of that again time and time again if it meant it ended with having you in my arms.”
A goofy smile curls at her lips.
“You’re the only thing I ever really wanted and the one thing I knew I couldn’t have. I don’t know what I did to get this chance with you, but I promise you that I’m never going to ruin it or take it for granted.”
“Hey,” she says, running her thumb across my bottom lip. “You don’t need to—”
“I do, Har. Everything we talked about at the cabin, I meant it. I want everything with you, Harley Hunter. I always have.”
“Kyle,” she swoons.
“I love you, Kitten.”
“I love you too.”
I drop my lips to her and hold her tight as I kiss her as if it’s our first and last rolled into one.
“How’s it feel?” I ask when I finally let her up for air, both our chests heaving and desire darkening our eyes.
“How’s what feel?”
“To be owned by a Legend?”
Epilogue
Harley
Three months later…
“Are you disappointed that you’re not up there like you should have been?” I ask Kyle as we sit in the bleachers at school waiting for the graduation ceremony to start.
