Tea and Tattoos

  Her eyes instantly lit up and a grin formed on her face, which was similar to that on his face. Noah noticed how she had suddenly became distracted and turned around to look at what had caught his girlfriend's attention.

  ''He should have wore a suit and brushed that hair of his to come to a place like this.'' Noah said as he gave him a death glare and he was soon given one by Desiree.

  Elliot told something to who seemed to be his parents and walked towards Desiree's and Noah's table with a grin on his face and without breaking eye contact with her.

  ''You look beautiful as always Desiree'' He told her as he bent down and kissed her cheek after he had given a stiff nod to Noah.

  ''Thank you Elliot'' She told him with a small smile.

  ''So what are you doing here? Are you celebrating a special occasion?'' Elliot asked.

  ''Yes, in-fact we are celebrating our seven year anniversary'' Noah told him with a proud voice as he sent a smile in Desiree's direction.

  She just stood there surprised, she had forgot that it was their anniversary and they had been together for seven years. That was a really long time and she couldn't help but wonder if she was making the right decision by staying with him.

  ''Congratualtions to both of you, I wish you many more.'' Elliot told them with a sarcastic voice. ''Desiree may I talk to you for a minute please.'' He added.

  ''You can say whatever you have to say in front of me!'' Noah told him rudely, which earned him a glare from Desiree.

  ''Don't worry Noah, I will be back in a minute'' She told him as she got up from the comfortable antique chair and stood next to Elliot. Even though she was wearing heels he was still taller than her and she had to look up to talk to him.

  ''Let's go, I want to be here when my food arrives.'' She told Elliot as she started to make her way out of the crowded dining area of the restaurant with Elliot following close behind her. They got out of the restaurant and decided to take a little walk in the garden that was joined with the restaurant.

  After a few moments of silence Desiree decided to break the silence.

  ''Look Elliot what do you want? I don't want to keep Noah waiting.'' She told him as she stopped in-front of him and crossed her arms.

  ''Desiree you know that all I want is you! How can you stay with that son of a bitch? Can't you see that there is something more to him? He is fucking playing you Desiree!'' He practically yelled at her, she just stood there shocked with her mouth open.

  ''I have been thinking about if I am doing the right decision staying with him, but I don't know Elliot. The truth is that I have grown feelings for someone else and I don't know what I should do. I am so confused!'' She told him in exasperation.

  ''Who is this other asshole?'' He asked her as he grabbed her by the shoulders to make her look up at him.

  ''It's you Elliot, I have feelings for you okay?'' She yelled at him as she turned around, but she was quickly turned around by a pair of strong arms.

  ''Why the fuck didn't you say so?'' He told her as he slammed his lips on to hers.

  She immediately forgot about her confused thoughts and wrapped her arms around his neck as she kissed him with as much passion as he was kissing her. She granted him entrance and she could feel his tongue in her mouth as they moved in perfect sync. She moved her hand in his unruly hair as he moved his big hands down her back and gave a slight squeeze to her ass as she let out a small giggle.

  They stopped the kiss to catch their breath as they were both breathing heavily with their foreheads resting with each other and their arms still around each other.

  ''I have been waiting for this for so long'' Elliot told her as he looked in her beautiful dark brown eyes.

  ''I guess that I have been waiting for this as-well without knowing'' And with that they continued what they had stopped.

  A few minutes later she walked back in the restaurant with Elliot after he had made sure that she didn't look like she had had a heavy make out session with another guy who wasn't her boyfriend.

  ''When will I see you again?'' He asked her before he took her back to her table.

  ''Hopefully soon, but I have to break up with Noah first, I already feel guilty that I cheated on him on our anniversary.'' She replied.

  ''You don't have to feel guilty, you did what your heart told you to.'' He said as he placed a kiss on her forehead. ''Now lets take you to that bastard.'' And with that she walked back to her table and he went to sit with his family.

  ''What took you so long? You food must have got cold!'' Noah told her as she sat back in her seat.

  ''I'm sorry Noah, it's just that we had to clear something up, don't worry about it'' She told him before she took a bite of her food, the guilt that she was feeling was killing her.

  After she had finished eating and Noah had generously paid for their meal they left the restaurant after she had said goody bye to Elliot, who had been bombarded by his father and step mother on who was Desiree but he gave them no answers and ignored them. It was none of their business.

  During the car ride home they didn't say anything to one another and Desiree couldn't help but feel that he knew exactly what had happened in the garden.

  They arrived back at her house quicker than usual and he parked the car, but none of them made a move to get out.

  ''Desiree what is going on?'' He asked her as he turned look at her with a confused look in his eyes.

  ''Nothing is wrong, it's just that I'm feeling a little sick and I have a lot on my mind right now.'' She lied to him, it was the first time that she had done that.

  ''I understand, go inside and have a warm cup of tea in your bed and I'm sure that you will be fine by tomorrow, at-least that's what your mother says.'' He told her with a smile.

  She couldn't help but think that he was such a sweet guy and he didn't deserve to have his girlfriend cheat on him on their seven year anniversary. She was probably the worst person on Earth.

  ''Thank you so much for everything Noah, it means a lot. Goodbye now and goodnight.'' She told him as she gave him a kiss on his cheek.

  ''Why does it feel like you are saying goodbye forever Dessie?'' He asked her with concern.

  ''I don't know Noah, but I'm only saying goodbye for today. Take care and if you need anything text me.'' She told him as she took the flowers from the back seat and got out of his car with one last look at him before he drove away.

  When she walked inside her house she was instantly bombarded by questions from her parents about how the date went and where he had took her. She gave them a brief summary of her night, leaving the part of her make out session with Elliot out of course, and after that she went up to her bedroom.

  She grabbed her phone from her night stand and sent a message to her best friend, Mia.

  I need to talk to you asap, love you and text me as soon as you get this message! xx

  She needed her bestfriend's help on what she would do to not break Noah's heart more than she already had, but most of all she just missed her best friend.

  As they had planned the night before, Desiree and Mia were going to meet at a small coffee shop at eleven o'clock in the morning.

  Desiree was thankful when she saw that Mia was already sitting at a small table in the middle of the coffee shop, she absolutely hated waiting.

  ''Dessie!'' Mia exclaimed when she saw her best friend walking towards her.

  ''Mia!'' Desiree replied as they embraced one another. ''It's been so long since I last saw you, I missed you!'' She added after she had sat down.

  ''I know I'm so sorry, it's just that I have been busy with Damon lately.'' She told her.

  ''I can't believe that I haven't met your new boyfriend yet. For how long have you been together now? Two months?'' Desiree said.

  ''Three months and you haven't introduced me to Elliot either!''

  ''Th
at's a different story we aren't even together, yet.'' Desiree replied.

  ''Yet?'' Mia said as she raised one of her eyebrows at her.

  ''Erm, actually that is the reason why I told you to meet me her today, I need your help and opinion asap!''

  ''Tell me everything right now!'' Mia practically yelled, so Desiree started to tell her what had happened the day before with Noah and Elliot.

  ''Break up you idiot!'' Mia exclaimed after Desiree had finished telling her what had happened between her and Elliot. Desiree couldn't help but notice the look that the waiter who was cleaning the table next to them gave her.

  ''I know that that's the right thing to do, I cheated on him afterall and I feel really bad about it.'' She replied as she took a sip of her cup of tea.

  ''So break up with him as soon as possible! I can drive you to his house right now if you want to. Infact I don't care if you don't want to, we are going right now!'' Mia told her as she hurriedly got up from her seat and left some money on the table.

  ''What?'' Desiree asked confused.

  ''Come on, we don't need to waste any more precious time!'' Mia told her as she practically dragged her best friend out of the coffee shop while the customers gave them strange looks.

  Mia parked her expensive silver car infront of a gigantic white house, Noah's house. Desiree's house was already very big in size but Noah's house looked like a palace compared to hers.

  ''I can't do this Mia'' Desiree said as she looked down and started to play with her hands.

  ''Oh just grow some balls Dessie, you'll be fine!'' She said as she pushed her out of her car and gave her a little wave. ''I have to go do some errands, I hope you don't mind walking back home, your house isn't that far away but call me if you want me to pick you up.''

  ''Will do'' She replied.

  Desiree slowly climbed up the stairs which lead to the front door, took a deep breath and rang the doorbell. After a few moments the door was opened.

  ''Desiree, what a pleasure to see you!'' Noah's mum greeted her as she kissed both of her cheeks. ''Noah is upstairs in his room, darling.''

  ''Thank you so much Mrs. Hale'' She replied as she started to make her way to Noah's room.

  When she arrived infront of his door she knocked to let him know that he was there, she had never been more nervous in her whole life.

  ''Come in mum!'' Noah said.

  When she went inside he looked up from a book that he was reading, a biology book from the look of it.

  ''Desiree'' He said as he sat there in surprise, he clearly hadn't been expecting her.

  ''Noah, I know that you weren't expecting me and I came here without informing you but I need to tell you something important.'' She said as she sat Indian style on his bed facing him. He immediately placed his hand on her thigh and looked at her confused.

  ''About what?''

  ''Look Noah this is very hard for me to say, but-''

  ''Would you like something to drink?'' Desiree was interrupted by Noah's mother arrival.

  ''No thanks mum, now please leave.'' He replied rather rudely as he turned his full attention on Desiree, which made her more nervous than she already was.

  ''We need to break up Noah, I can't do this anymore!'' Desiree blurted out.

  Noah didn't say anything for a while, he just sat there facing her with a look of total shock on his face, but his look soon turned into one of anger.

  ''What do you mean Desiree? You can't just come in here and tell me that you want to break up with me!'' He said as he got up from his bed and started to pace. He suddenly stopped and turned to face her. ''Oh wait I get it now, it's because of that punk isn't it? I fucking knew it!'' He angrily yelled.

  Desiree just sat there on his bed, scared. She had never seen him that angry before, and it was all her fault.

  ''Please Noah, calm down.'' She told him as she plucked up her courage and got up from his bed and went to stand next to him.

  ''I can't calm down, you are leaving me for a guy you have known for a few days! That is messed up!'' He said as he turned around and yelled in her face.

  ''Noah, what I feel for him is special, it's something that I don't feel for you, and I cheated on you.'' She quickly added the last part as she looked at the ground avoiding eye contact.

  ''You did what? Desiree I can't fucking believe you, I thought that I knew you but I surely didn't. Get out of my house right now!'' He yelled at her, he looked so scary and he looked like a bomb which was on the verge on exploding.

  ''Noah please-''

  ''Don't you understand? Get out of my house!'' He said as he slapped her in the face.

  Desiree looked at him in shock as she raised her hand to her cheek which was throbbing with sharp pain as tears started to stream down her face. Noah froze immediately and looked at her with wide eyes.

  ''Desiree, I'm so sorry, I-'' He started to say as she took a step closer to her.

  ''Don't you dare touch me, you bastard! I never want to see you again!'' She yelled as she ran out of his room as fast as she could as she sobbed.

  Just as she was about to run out of the front door she heard Mrs. Hale asking what as wrong but she didn't reply, instead she ran out without looking back as she dialed the only person that could make her feel safe and protect her.

  The person she was calling finally picked up.

  ''Hello?''

  ''Elliot, I need you!''

  ''Des what's wrong? Don't move from where you are, I'm coming to get you right now just tell me where you are, baby girl.''

  ❝I could start fires with what I feel for you❞

  After Desiree had told Elliot where she was, she sat down on the pavement as tears streamed down her face. She knew that it was all her fault that Noah had slapped her because she was the one who cheated on him, but he had promised her a long time ago that he would never hurt her. A promise that was now broken.

  After about twenty minutes or so she saw a black Range Rover speeding down the road and it stopped abruptly infront of her.A distressed Elliot walked out of the car and rushed towards her.

  ''What happened Desiree, tell me everything.'' He commanded as he noticed the bruise on her cheek which was slowly turning from red to purple.

  ''I got into an argument with Noah because I told him about what happened between us. After I told him that we need to break up he got mad, and he slapped me.'' She told him as she looked down at her brown oxford shoes.

  ''He did what? That boy is going to wish that he was never born! Tell me where he lives Desiree!'' He said as he balled his hands and got up from his spot on the pavement next to her. He looked like he was ready to start a fight.

  ''Elliot don't go anywhere, it's my fault that he hit me afterall. Don't worry about it I'm fine now.'' She told him as she got up aswell and held his hands in hers as she looked into his green eyes.

  ''A man should never hit a woman, even when she makes a mistake.'' He told her as he looked down at her with sadness in his eyes.
