Fictitious Love 2

“You're right, but I think I'm going to stay here with my sister tonight. She's been through a lot today and I just want to be there for her,” I said.
“You're gonna have to wait your turn, honey. That damn Cuba be on it,” Mama Nique laughed.
“I'm happy you noticed. I told her to jump them bones, but she said they’re just friends and she doesn't even look at men the same after Tristan.” I shook my head.
“If she don't want his ass, I'll take him.”
“Honeyyyyyy, if I wasn't married, I would turn his little young ass out,” my mama cosigned.
“And on that note,” I said as I got up.
I waddled down the hallway to one of the guest rooms that Tahani thankfully had on the first floor. As I opened the door, I heard Moni telling somebody he couldn't come right now but he would get with them tomorrow. My eyebrow went up in suspicion but I wasn't dare going to comment on it.
He quickly turned around and looked shocked to see so he hung up his phone.
“Can you get out so I can go to sleep?” I asked dryly.
Ever since the slapping incident, I had been secretly plotting different ways I could kill his black ass and get away with it. I'd been taking notes from the show How To Get Away With Murder, so the best thing for him to do was to keep his distance.
“So you're just going to keep avoiding me? We have to talk sooner or later, Tahtiana.”
“Well, I'll go for later. I'll have someone call you when I go into labor; until then, get the fuck out of my face, DeMoni,” I snapped.
Only this nigga could make me feel bipolar when I knew good and damn well I was not. I was just all calm and collected, and now I was ready to snatch his head clean off his body. Instead of moving, his ass was standing there like he couldn't understand or comprehend English.
Walking to the other side of the bed, I sat down with my back to him and took my purse out of the drawer of the nightstand that I had put it in earlier that day. My phone started ringing just as I went to take it out.
“Jazz, let me call you back when I get out of the shower,” I answered.
“Send me a nude, pregnant belly and all,” she joked.
“Girl, bye,” I laughed before hanging up.
Just as I was about to put the phone on the charger, it was ringing again, but this time it was from a number I didn't recognize. Hesitantly, I answered.
“Hello?”
“Since you want me to go through you to speak to DeMoni, can you tell him that I don't want the dick tomorrow, I want it tonight. Tell him don't act funny since he had no problem slinging it the other day after my doctor’s appointment.”
I ran my tongue along the outside of my teeth to help me keep calm. It was after one o'clock in the morning and Shantell was calling my phone with some bullshit. She thought this little stunt was going to get a reaction out of me but I'd be damned if I played in the gutter with this rat. She had no problems calling him before and they obviously were on the phone with each other when I walked in the room.
“Okay, boo, I'll definitely let him know. You be cool and take care of that baby, darling,” I said before hanging up.
After putting my phone on the charger, I got off the bed and stripped out of my dress and bra until I was completely naked. I had a few stretch marks on my waist but other than that, my body was still perfect considering I had just turned eight months the other day. Walking past DeMoni, I went straight for the bathroom.
“Shantell said bring your ass home,” I threw over my shoulder before slamming and locking the bathroom door.
Fuck DeMoni and his dirty dick. I hope the bitch fall so he’ll never be able to use it again. I swear, if it wasn't for his dick, I would have left his ass nine years ago. Not only did he slap my ass silly, but he went and fucked the one bitch that he knew should have been off limits. The one bitch that he knew could possibly make me stop messing with him for good.
That right there just further let me know that DeMoni just didn’t give a fuck. Time after time, I tried to give him a chance and only ended up getting hurt in the end. I didn't even blame him, though. I blamed myself. I blamed myself for letting good sex keep me blind to the fact that my nigga ain't shit. Never had been and probably never would be.
26: Jazz
Pulling up to the address that Tahti had to text messaged me, I nodded my head in admiration of how bad this shit was. My house wasn’t a slouch, but this one damn sure put it to shame. I lifted my hand to knock on the door but before my flesh could even connect, it was already opening. Some nigga looked me from head-to-toe before instructing me to go to the kitchen.
“Good looking,” I told him as I followed the smell of food to the kitchen. As I got closer, I heard voices and laughter. When I walked in the kitchen, Tahti was in there with a woman that looked similar to her and was just as beautiful as her.
“Oh my God, I must have died and gone to heaven,” I said, only half-joking.
The other one giggled and came over to me. “You must be Jazz. I’m Tahani, Tahti’s little sister. I’ve heard a lot about you,” she said as she stuck her hand out for me to shake.
“Uh oh, don’t believe anything her ass told you,” I said as I shook her hand. “I brought some goodies. I heard this was supposed to be a male bashing session and since I don’t know shit about that, I did the best I could.”
Tahani laughed and thanked me as she took the bag from me. I walked over to the table where Tahti was too busy stuffing her face to say anything to me. I reached in her plate and took a piece of bacon from her and she looked up at me like she wanted to kill me.
“Gone, Jazmere. Don’t make me have to fuck you up,” she said.
“Don’t talk with your mouth full. That’s not cute,” I laughed.
“In case you didn’t notice, I’m not trying to be cute, I’m trying to eat.” She rolled her eyes before stuffing some eggs in her mouth.
“Here you go,” Tahani said as she placed a plate in front of me.
She sat down at the table with us and started going through the bags. She took the movies out and started laughing.
“Oh hell no. Tahti, look,” she said as she waved the movies around. “She brought Waiting to Exhale, What’s Love Got To Do With It, I Can Do By All By Myself,” Tahani laughed.
Tahtiana looked up at me with a funny look on her face before she started laughing. She was laughing so hard that I thought her big ass was about to fall out of the damn chair. I just shook my head because I didn’t see what was so funny. I thought that was what they were supposed to watch when they were mad at men and shit.
“Fuck y’all, man,” I said as I started eating.
“Awww, Jazzy Pooh, don’t be like that.”
“Have you two ever…” Tahani let her sentence trail of as she looked from me to her sister.
“What?” Tahti asked.
“Have you ever fucked?” Cuba asked as he walked in the kitchen.
“Oh, so you do talk,” Tahti asked like she was shocked.
“He talk all the time, Tahtiana. What are you talking about?” Tahani laughed.
“No ma’am, he talks to you all the time. When we’re around, that nigga acts like a mute,” Tahti said.
“Maybe he just don’t want your loud mouth, nosey ass all in his business. Have you ever thought about that?” I asked.
“Oh no you didn’t just go there.”
“Yes, I did,” I laughed.
This girl was so damn comical it didn’t make no sense. Even when she wasn’t trying to be funny, she would have you laughing. Especially when she was mad; the things that would fly out of her mouth would have you in tears and holding your stomach.
“Anyways, come on, ya’ll. Let’s take it to the living room so I can tell you about this bullshit this no good baby daddy of mine has done now. And to answer your question, Hani, no, we have never fucked,” Tahti said as she got up and waddled like a damn penguin out of the kitchen.
___
Tahti had her sw
ollen ass feet in my lap while she fussed at the TV. We had managed to watch two out of the three movies and we were now watching Waiting to Exhale.
“Tahti, stop hogging all the popcorn,” Tahani whined.
“I told you to pop your own bag,” Tahti sighed as she handed her sister the bowl of popcorn.
“You are so greedy,” I laughed.
“Whatever, now hush.”
I chuckled lightly because her ass was really into this movie. This shit was crazy to me. This was a reminder to me about why I should be happy as to why I didn’t deal with men. Going through the motions and dealing with all this extra bullshit was not even worth it.
“That’s it!” Tahti yelled as she jumped up.
“Yo, you need to sit your pregnant ass down somewhere,” I warned her.
“No Jazz, that’s it. She just took that nigga’s clothes and set them on fire!” she yelled.
“Tahtiana, please, you are eight months pregnant. You are not about to set DeMoni’s clothes on fire. He already slapped your ass, so what do you think he’s going to do if you do that shit?” Tahani asked.
“Hani, hush, I don’t want to set his clothes on fire. She thought that by setting his shit on fire, it would help her get over him. What if I go home and take all his clothes and everything he has at my house and drop them off at his house to him? That way he won’t have a reason to come back to my house and that will help me get over him,” she said like she had it all figured out.
Tahani and I looked at each other and busted out laughing. Tahti stood there with the screw face on, wondering why we were laughing at her.
“The hell is so funny?”
“Listen at how you sound, Tahtiana. You are about to have this nigga’s baby next month. How the hell is that going to stop him from coming over? What, you’re going to stop him from seeing his son? Sit your crazy ass down so we can finish watching the movie,” I told her.
“No, this is serious. Y’all just don’t understand what’s it’s like for someone to have a hold on you where it feels like you can’t leave them alone. I hate feeling like this. No matter what DeMoni does, I always find a way to forgive him and that shit is pathetic. I don’t want to be that female that constantly keeps getting hurt and taking a nigga back just because she’s dick whipped,” Tahti cried.
I just sat there stuck because I had honestly never seen Tahtiana cry. I could tell that she was really fed up this time and really didn’t want to take DeMoni back, but she knew that it would be hard to get away from him considering the fact that they were about to have a child together.
I knew I could come up with my own plan, but I respected Tahti and her unborn too much to even go that route. Regardless, I would be here with her every step of the way to help her with whatever she needed and to be a friend. I now realized that I needed to stop trying to force myself into a relationship with Tahtiana and continue to be the friend that she actually needed. She had too much going on with DeMoni to even be thinking about jumping into another relationship right now.
27: Omega
Walking into the kitchen, I walked up behind Rachel as she was cooking so she could feel my morning wood. I had every intention of dropping her ass off at home last night so I could come home and spend some time alone, thinking to myself, but that shot of head she gave me in the car quickly made me change my mind.
“Move, Omega. I’m tired and sore,” she said as she tried to move out of the way.
I bet you are, I thought as I went to answer the door. We had spent the whole night fucking like rabbits and her ass couldn’t hang with a nigga.
“Fuck you at my door so early for?”
“Nigga, shut the fuck up. It’s three in the afternoon,” Moni said as he followed behind me in the kitchen. “Nigga, my ear been ringing all morning. Them damn James sisters been dogging my ass out since early this morning.”
“You’re not the only one, but I’m used to it. Shit don’t bother me no more, you should be used to it, too,” I laughed as I fired up my morning blunt.
“Fuck no, this is some intense shit. I know if Tahti wasn’t pregnant her ass would be on some other shit right now.”
“When ain’t she on some other shit? I was ten seconds away from knocking her ass out last night. If it wasn’t for the fact that she was carrying my nephew, I would have,” I said honestly.
Tahtiana was talking some ol wacky backy shit last night and she really had me fucked up. They all had me fucked up if they thought I owed Tahani a damn thing. I didn’t ask her ass to get me out of prison and even though that was some real shit she did, I didn’t owe her shit for it. I wouldn’t have had a problem spending the rest of my life behind bars. Hell, that was my only option at the time anyways and I had learned to accept that.
I wasn’t going to bow down to Tahani or kiss her ass for what she did. When she was with Tristan, she rubbed it in my face every chance she got and even told me she regretted the fact that she helped me get out, so fuck her. She mad at me for bringing Rachel to the little get together, but she was giggling and smiling in that other nigga face the whole time.
“You not listening to shit I’m saying, are you?” Moni asked me.
“You think Hani and that one nigga fucking?” I asked.
Moni cocked his head to the side and looked at me funny. He was about to answer but his eyes traveled behind me. I turned around to see what he was looking at until I saw Rachel coming down the stairs. I had forgotten she was there for a minute.
Damn, I need to stop smoking, I said right as I took another toke.
“Nigga, you fucking up. When do we let bitches spend the night?” he asked.
“Why I gotta be a bitch?” Rachel asked.
“Because that’s the word I used to describe you. Don’t fucking talk to me, girl. My lil sis already whooped yo ass last night, so please don’t make me call her for a rematch,” Moni said.
I just chuckled because this nigga was straight up ignorant. Sometimes I wondered who he got it from more, our mom or our dad because they were both one and the same. As much as Dominique tried to act like she couldn’t stand Alpha, she knew damn well she loved that nigga. They acted just alike and their two oldest sons acted just as bad.
“That’s funny, Omega?” she asked me.
“Man, I’m high. Ignore me.” I waved her off.
“Tahani gonna fuck you up, watch. I’m just waiting for the day when she do because it’s long overdue,” Moni told me as he pointed his finger at me.
I didn’t even respond, I just stuck my middle finger up at him.
“Tahani shouldn’t even worry about nothing going on over here. Her ass done turned my son against me and shit,” I spat.
“Nigga, fuck out of here. Juanie ain’t say shit that didn’t need to be heard. He was right, though. You need to stop blaming Hani for Tristan’s fuck ups. Everything that happened is a domino effect of something that Tristan caused,” Moni explained.
“And she allowed the shit,” I protested.
“Omega, you really need to get your son. If she got people coming after her like that and they’re shooting her house up like that, then that’s not safe. That’s child neglect. She could lose her rights if someone finds out. Hell, I could be Juanie’s new mom and—”
I opened my mouth to put this bitch in her place but before I could do it, Moni had beat me to the punch.
“First of all, bitch, why the fuck are you even in our conversation? This is a family matter concerning family. Find you some business and jump the fuck out of ours because this ain’t got shit to do with you. How the fuck do you even sound right now? Fuck you mean, you can be Juanie’s mom? This nigga not even gonna keep you around that damn long. Juanie has and needs one mom, and she does a helluva good job raising him. Mega, let me raise the fuck up out of here for I go to jail for putting my hands on this bitch because you know I don’t give a fuck. We’re supposed to meet at pops’ house at six, so be there, nigga.”
Rachel was sitting there with
her mouth open because she couldn’t believe that Moni had actually talked to her like that. If only she knew, that was actually lightweight compared to how he could really get.
“You need to hurry up and get dressed so I can drop your ass off,” I told her as I got up.
“Are you serious?” she asked.
“I’m dead ass. Whatever business I got going on with my family, especially my son’s mother, is just that, my business. Don’t ever open your mouth to speak upon her again. I should have put you in your place about that shit last night, but I was too busy being in my feelings,” I told her.
If it was one thing I had to give Tahani her props on, it would be her mothering skills. She did do a damn good job raising Juanie those seven years I was locked up. He wasn’t disrespectful, he was doing well in school, he played sports, he had manners, and he was way better than I was at that age. I started causing hell at a very young age.
Juanie being the complete opposite of what I was at that age had to mean something. Going to prison on those bullshit ass charges was actually a good thing in a way. It slowed me down because I would have ended up in prison eventually, either that or dead.
___
Mo opened the front door and I gave her a hug. Even though I felt she wasn’t the woman my pops should be married to, I didn’t have a problem with her. Often times, I wondered why she stayed around all these years knowing she would never completely have Alpha’s heart. She could play dumb or blind to it all she wanted to, but she knew like everyone else that the nigga still loved my mama.
“He and your brothers are downstairs waiting on you,” she informed me.
“Brothers?” I asked.
She nodded her head. “Keylin just got here a few hours ago.”
“Okay, thank you.”
When I walked down to my pops’ man cave, he and his other two sons were chilling and talking shit. I was wondering what the hell Keylin was doing here because it seemed as if me and Moni had just dropped his ass off at the airport for him to go back to school.
