Liespotting_Proven Techniques to Detect Deception

Phil Revzin, Kylah Goodfellow McNeill, Nadea Mina, and the team at St. Martin’s Press have been nothing short of spectacular, and I am very grateful to them for championing the project, and adding nothing but good ideas and helpful assistance along the way.
The exceptionally skilled photographer Cindy Truitt worked tirelessly to get the photos right, taking extra shots, editing them, and sharpening them many times over.
I would like to acknowledge Amy Hertz and Lisa DiMona for their encouragement and support. Amy is the first person to whom I mentioned the concept of the book, and she has been a friend and supporter from the start. Lisa has been Liespotting’s quiet guardian angel steering me in the right direction from behind the scenes.
A number of talented people worked on early versions of this book: Lawrence LaRose, Jeff Himmelman, and Mickey Butts. Mitch Gordon, Eric Rayman, Suzanne Levy, Veena Trehan, Jeffrey Harper, Mark Schapiro, Dana Ardi, Bill Tonelli, and John Podhoretz all gave generously of their time, reviewing material, lending their stories, crafting ideas and concepts, offering expertise.
In addition, I would like to express special thanks to Alan Lightfeldt, my assistant, who kept all the missing pieces of the office together from the start of this project, and to Amarech Haile and Yashema Evans, who helped to bring their special magic to our home while the book was in its final phases.
I would like to say a heartfelt thank-you to my family for their consistent encouragement and support: To my darling daughter, Johanna, for keeping joy and laughter in our home at all times. To my father, Jerome Meyer, and his wife, Naomi, and to my sister, Cindy, and my brother-in-law, Robin, for being so very encouraging from the start of the book. And most of all to my wonderful husband, Fred, who has been a passionate supporter, a constructive critic, and loving partner throughout every phase of this book.
