“Yes, I have because I want to relax here with you guys.”

“What are you father and son talking about.” Jane entered the room and walked towards Blake and Mathew. “Are you guys planning something secretive?”

“No mom, dad is just being ridiculous. He thinks I should just leave and go back to New York so that I can take care of my business.”

“Honey please explain to him that I am right.” Mathew spoke to Jane.

“Dad please I really like being here and I mean that. Just because I live far from you, does not mean I will leave you guys alone even when you need me. You both mean the world to me and no business can be more important than you guys.”

“Mathew, Blake is right. Let him stay here, besides I like gossiping with him every morning”

“See, I told you” Blake smiled and grinned at his father.

“Look, Mathew just because our boy has grown up to be a successful billionaire doesn’t mean he is not our baby boy anymore. Blake and I understand that, so you should too.”

“Ok all right. I hate it when you both pair up against me. I always loose.”

“I don’t understand why even bother trying” Blake spoke and continued to smile.

“Yes. Over the years, you should have realized that you could never win from the powerful duo of Blake and I.” Jane giggled.

“That’s because I am left alone to argue against two very intelligent people. That’s it, next time I am involving Sara in my team. What is your say Sara?” Mathew spoke as he looked at Sara.

Sara smiled and said, “Sure Mathew. Next time”

“Well then, it’s decided, Blake stays for as long as he wants.” Jane concluded the topic with a graceful smile and headed out the door.

“My perception about them was wrong I guess. They are so sweet and are such a happy normal family. I always thought Blake was just a billionaire jerk but I never thought he could have such a sensitive side.” Sara thought and smiled. She actually felt attracted to Blake and could not resist the sudden attraction she felt towards him. “So, he has a heart after all.”

  CHAPTER 10

As Sara sat in Nathaniel’s kitchen to have her tea, one of the servants entered the room in a rush.

“Woaah! Slow down.” Sara smiled and looked at the worried servant.

“Oh thank God you are here, Sara. I need your help please. I need to go out immediately because Jane’s friends are coming over and I have to buy some desserts for them”

“So? I am not going to go dessert shopping with you, Mark”?

“No. I just want you to go upstairs to Sir Blake’s room and serve him this tea tray.”

“What? No. I am going in his room.”

“Please Sara, do this for me.”

Mark made innocent puppy dog eyes at her and after a brief silence, Sara gave up.

  “Fine, I will do it.”

“Oh, thank you Sara, you are a life saver I tell you.”

“Yea, yea.” Sara spoke as she rolled her eyes.

As Mark ran out the door, Sara looked at the tea tray in silence. “Better get to it I guess.” Sara thought as she picked the tray and headed upstairs towards his room. She stood outside his room and knocked but Blake did not respond. “I should just go inside and leave this tea tray in his room”. Sara thought and quickly entered the room.

Sara thought it was strange that the room was empty and wondered where Blake was. But ignoring her thoughts, she quickly kept the tray on his table and turned to leave. It was at that moment when Blake came out of his washroom and to Sara’s surprise Blake was wearing a small towel that covered half of his legs.

“Oh I am sorry. I didn’t know you were showering. I just came in to serve you tea.” Sara spoke nervously without making eye contact with the half naked man who stood in front of her.

“Well then, serve it.” Blake spoke casually and sat on the chair that was placed in front of the wooden table.

Sara felt nervous but she managed to walk over to the table and serve tea. As Blake picked up his teacup, Sara glanced at his muscles and felt sudden warmth under her skin.

Blake took a sip from the teacup and said, “It’s perfect. Thank you”

Sara silently nodded and left the room. As she stood outside the room, she took deep breaths and could feel her cheeks burning warm, “why did I go in his room! Why did he have to be half naked and why on earth did he have to be so hot.” Sara thought as she tried to gain her breath and headed downstairs.

As she sat in the kitchen, all she could think about was Blake’s half naked body. She felt sexually attracted to him and could not get her thoughts off of Blake’s beefy muscles.

“Are you thinking about me?” Blake spoke while standing at the kitchen door. He was all dressed up now and looked at Sara who seemed lost in her thoughts.

“Why would I think about you?” Sara spoke without looking at Blake.

“Oh I don’t know, maybe because you feel attracted to me now.”

“Where did you get such an absurd idea from? I am not attracted to you at all.”

“Oh yea? Then, why were you secretly staring at me when I was in my towel?”

  “What! I was not!”

“Hey don’t lie. I know you were. So did you find something interesting?” Blake spoke in a low breathy voice as he walked closer to Sara and leaned towards her neck.

“Just go away.” Sara spoke in a low voice while she closed her eyes and took uneven breaths. She now felt turned on by Blake who was breathing down on her neck.

“Why should I? Are you scared it will break your control?” Blake leaned in closer, moved her hair from her neck and kissed her shoulder. The kiss sent shivers down Sara’s backbone and she knew she was not in control of the situation anymore.

Blake continued to kiss her neck and shoulder while Sara kept her eyes closed and felt turned on. Soon it got too difficult for both of them to control and Blake grabbed Sara from her waist. He picked her up and settled her down on the kitchen counter. He then stood against the counter and continued to kiss Sara on her lips. Throughout the way, Sara did not stop him and as their lips met for the first time, they felt like their thirst had been quenched. They continued to kiss passionately while Sara wrapped her legs around Blake’s waist. Soon Blake moved his hand inside Sara’s shirt but she quickly stopped his hand.

“Woah!” Sara exclaimed as she tried regaining her breath.

“What happened?” Blake felt confused about Sara’s sudden response.

“Slow down cowboy.” Sara blushed and her cheeks burned red.

  “Why?”

“Because I want to know you first, then decide if I want to go further.”

Blake smiled and responded, “ok. If that is what my lady wants.”

“Your lady? Who said I am your lady?” Sara spoke flirtatiously with a smile.

“Your passionate kiss did.” Blake smiled and leaned in to kiss Sara again.

  CHAPTER 11

Next day, Sara worked around her house and found herself smiling for no reason. All she could think about was how Blake and she kissed the other day. Soon as she did her house chores, her cell phone rang and she ran to receive it.

“Hello” she answered the phone in a rush.

“Hey sweetheart.” Blake spoke from the other end of the phone.

Sara felt pleased to hear his voice and spoke with a wide smile on her face, “Hi Blake.”

“So what were you up to?” Blake questioned casually.

“Nothing. I was just doing some house chores.”

“Ok. So I called to tell you that you are going on a dinner with me tonight and I will pick you around 8.00 pm sharp.”

“Blake Nathaniel, are you asking me to go on a date with you?”

“I am not asking actually. I don’t need permission for taking you on a date with me.”

“Well, alright” Sara was impressed by Blake’s dominance.

“And one more thing, would you please be a doll and open your
house door?”

“Why?” Sara walked towards the door.

  “It’s a surprise.”

As Sara opened the door, she saw a big box resting on her porch.

  “Blake, what is this?”

“You will find out when you open it of course.”

Sara picked up the box and brought it inside the house. The box was heavy and she kept it on her table. She quickly opened the box, and to her surprise, inside the box, there was a white long dress that was covered in crystals.

  “Wow!” Sara exclaimed in astonishment.

“Do you like it?” Blake questioned as he heard her exclamation.

  “It’s beautiful Blake, but…”

“I know you don’t like taking expensive gifts from me but you are my girl now and as I previously said, my girl deserves nothing less than the best. So be a good doll and wear this dress tonight for me.”

“All right” Sara blushed and discounted the call.

The clock struck 7.55 and Sara sat on her sofa waiting for Blake. She was wearing the dress that Blake had gifted her and other than that, she put on a little natural looking makeup. Soon the clock struck 8.00 and the bell rang. Sara opened the door and looked at Blake, who was dressed as handsomely as Sara had expected. He wore a formal white shirt with a Black coat.

“Wow, I didn’t know someone can look this much gorgeous.” Blake ogled at Sara.

“Thank you.” Sara blushed. “You look good in that suit as well.”

  “Thank you.”

  “So where are we going?”

  “It’s a surprise.”

“Why do you keep me in so much suspense?”

“Common let’s go.” Blake smiled and led the way. He held the car door open for her as she sat inside and then Blake himself settled in the driver’s seat. They then drove over to “La Ferine”, which was a fine dining restaurant.

As they entered the restaurant, Sara found it strange that the entire restaurant was empty.

“I thought this place is always packed. Isn’t it strange that it’s completely empty today?” Sara wondered out loud as she settled on a chair across Blake.

“It’s empty because I booked the entire restaurant for us”

  “What! Why?”

“Well this was our first date and I wanted privacy.”

“We could have stayed home for that.”

“No. This is one of my favorite places to dine out. So for our first date, I wanted to bring you here. But that doesn’t mean we cannot enjoy our privacy.” Blake smiled and winked at Sara. She thought about it for a brief moment and decided to let go off the topic because she knew she was dating a billionaire now and had to do some things the way he preferred.

Rest of the evening went smooth and the couple enjoyed expensive lobster with wine. Blake remained a gentleman throughout the dinner and they gracefully talked about their interests. Sara felt completely charmed by Blake’s dashing personality and blushed throughout the entire dinner. Soon the couple headed back and once they were outside Sara’s house, she invited him inside. They entered the house together and they settled on a sofa that was kept in the lounge.

“Did you enjoy your dinner?” Blake asked politely.

“Yes. You really know how to treat a girl, Blake Nathaniel.”

“Yes I do.” he leaned forward, grabbed her chin and their faces were inches apart. As they were close, a rush of heat flashed across Sara’s skin and she felt nervous. Meanwhile Blake waited for a brief moment and then finally kissed her.

Once their lips sealed, Sara found it impossible to let go off Blake. The couple kissed until the action got too intense and they decided to go inside the room. Blake swiped Sara off her feet and carried her into her bedroom. Once inside the room, the couple started kissing and grabbed each other tightly. The night proceeded as the couple lost track of their cloths and made love on Sara’s bed.

Next morning, the couple woke up in each other’s arms. Sara slowly opened her eyes and found Blake looking at her.

“Oh, you are awake.” Sara was currently naked as she spoke and tried sitting straight but Blake held her close to his chest.

“Yes. I woke up an hour back”

“Why didn’t you wake me up then?”Sara blushed as she was covered in silk sheets and her lover’s arms.

“I didn’t want to disturb you while you were looking so stunning.”

Sara blushed again, “Do you want breakfast?”

  “No, I just want you.”

  “Well, I am with you.”

“Sara, can I honestly tell you that I have never found a lady in my life like you. I mean, I can’t have enough of you. Everything about you draws me in like a silly teenage girl attracted to chocolate.”

Sara giggled as she listened to Blake and waited for him to continue.

“Women always come after my money which is why I used them and none of them ever meant anything to me but you, on the other hand, I am very fond of. Really, none of them were even close to as ravishing as you are.”

“I am flattered to hear that. I feel somewhat the same for you. I have been with few men but none of them wooed me like you have. You are a man, Blake Nathaniel and I am glad to say that I feel safe with you. You treat me so well and I am glad that I gave you a chance.”

“I am glad to hear that.” Blake leaned in to kiss her.

The following few days the couple went to different dates that mostly ended up in making love. They loved spending time with each other and enjoyed sharing about their lives. On one date, the couple visited a horse ranch that Blake owned.

“I usually prefer women with a mystery but in your case, I want to know everything about you, so tell me more about yourself Sara.” Blake looked at his gorgeous partner who stood next to him and looked towards the expensive breed horses that were standing in Blake’s ranch.

“I have nothing much to tell really. I guess you know me well already.”

“Maybe, but is there something more that you want to share?”

“Well as you must have noticed, I am like an open book, so there’s nothing really, but I would love to hear about you since I know so little regarding your life.”

“Ok. Well you already know my parents, you know about my personality and my business, what else do you want to know?”

“I want to know you Blake, just you and your life experiences.”

“Ok. I am going to share something with you, which I have never shared with a woman previously. To keep it short, my family and I weren’t always rich. We owned a small house and could barely make it through the day until one day I decided that I needed more in life. With that dream, I went over to New York and worked till I was awarded the youngest billionaire.”

“So, you are a self made man?”

“Exactly. After that, I achieved everything in life but there was one thing missing all along.”

  “And what’s that?”

“You. It was you who was missing in my life. I am glad to have found you.” Blake spoke in a charming manner and wrapped his arms around Sara, who was blushing.

  CHAPTER 12

Days passed and on a Tuesday morning, Blake sat in a café waiting for Sara to come. As he waited, his phone rang and he answered it.

“Blake?” Sara spoke in a rush.

“Doll where are you? I have been waiting for you at the café.”

“You need to come over to your house right now. Your father is seriously ill. Blake, please come soon.” Sara spoke in tone of urgency which made Blake worry frantically. He quickly headed home.

As Blake ran inside his father’s room, he saw his mother and everyone around her crying including Sara. His father was lying on the bed and he was not moving.

  “What happened?” Blake stood frozen.

“Blake, we did everything we could but he suddenly got too ill and his heart just stopped working.” Sara spoke as she continued to cry.

Blake stood there silently and watched everyone cry. He slowly walked towards
his father and sat on the corner of his bed. He knew his father was gone and there was nothing that Blake could do now, other than grieving on his loss. His mother approached Blake and hugged him from the back.

“Oh Blake, we both lost our best friend today.” Jane cried out loud and continued to hug Blake tightly. Blake knew he needed to be there for his mother first, instead of breaking down himself, which is why he stood up and hugged his mother back.

The next morning, Mathew’s funeral took place in which people from all across the town arrived to pay their condolences. Everyone consoled Blake and his mother upon their loss and after everyone left, Blake sat in his backyard, trying to fight with his tears.

“Blake?” Sara walked towards him. “Can I talk to you?” Sara asked politely.

Blake did not utter a word but silently nodded.

“Blake, few days back you asked me if I wanted to share something with you regarding my life right? Well today, I want to share something with you, if you don’t mind of course?”

“Go ahead.” Blake spoke without looking at Sara. She sat beside him, held his hand and continued to speak.

“Blake, my father’s name was Hector Cameron. He was my best friend and I lost him when I was very young. He died of cancer and for two whole years, I watched him suffer everyday while my mother worked day and night to pay for his medical expenses. None of the doctors could help him, but there was a nurse, named Elizabeth Gown, who took care of my father. She was a graceful lady and I think she was the one who truly helped my father go through his painful days. Looking at Elizabeth, I learned that it should be a priority to provide a patient with affection and love instead of just dozing them with heavy medicines, which is why; I chose to be a nurse. I wanted to do what Elizabeth did for my dad. Anyway my point was, we both have lost our best friends, so I know how it feels but what makes me glad is that our best friends received love even when they were taking their last breath. I wanted to tell you that, as your father took his last breaths, Jane leaned in and kissed him. She told him how much he loved her and I think I actually saw Mathew smile before he…”
