I also didn’t like that Belly had proposed to Blaise. She was beautiful, but she wasn’t even all that for her to be the one that got him to be monogamous. Not to mention he had the nerve to not fuck me. I knew if he wouldn’t then, he surely wouldn’t now. I may have had a chance once Blaise blew all the way up from being pregnant, but shit, I’d be right there with her.

“Fuck.” I sighed, thinking about being a fat ass. I did not want to be pregnant, but this baby was my meal ticket in case my own cash flow stopped coming in.

I read some of the comments on the video, and a few of them made me feel better, mainly the ones calling Blaise a dummy and saying how Belly would be cheating soon. Little did they know, Belly had been a good boy, making a lot of the girls in the industry hate Blaise’s ass. Bitches had their fingers crossed, waiting for him to drop her or cheat. And niggas couldn’t wait for Blaise to leave him.

I heard my doorbell, so I got up to go see who it was. I spotted a man at my door, holding some shopping bags, so I quickly unlocked it and yanked it open.

  “Miss Carriage?”

“Yes.” I grinned. “Gimme!” I shouted, reaching my hands out.

The man chuckled, handing over the bags. I signed the paper and then placed my stuff down before opening the card attached to one of them. I smiled, reading the sweet note from Ian. I couldn’t wait to marry him.

After trying on some of my stuff, I texted him to say ‘thank you’, then hopped into the shower. I brushed my teeth after, then once I spread lotion on my body, I wrapped myself up in my robe so I could make breakfast.

Just as I passed my front door to head to the kitchen, I heard my doorbell sound off.

“Who is it?” I questioned. No one was due to come over today, and I was happy about it. My pregnant ass wanted to simply layup, eat, and admire this diamond on my hand.

  “Will.”

Pausing in my tracks, I looked around my living room frantically as if I could find a place to hide. I’d rarely thought about him since Ian proposed to me and had hoped that if I ignored him, he would just go away.

  “Umm, uh, yeah?”

“Fuck you mean, ‘uh, yeah’? Open the door.”

“Why? I’m not dressed.” I clutched the top of my robe together as if he could see me through the door.

  “I can wait.”

Smacking my lips, I went to put on some panties, then came back to answer the door. Will’s light-skinned ass looked nice, and smelled good per usual. His curly hair was shining as bright as the damn sun, and his minimal facial hair was neatly trimmed. He had on jeans and a Polo shirt, so nothing too special, but the items were surely name brand.

“What, Will?” I folded my arms after closing the door.

“Stop acting like we don’t have shit to talk about, Nichole. You tell me I’m the father and then next thing I know, you ain’t responding to texts nor answering phone calls.”

“Look, you don’t want this baby, so I’m giving you a chance to be free. I won’t bother you, I promise.”

Will frowned, his brows dipping so lowly they almost touched his cheek bones.

“No, what the fuck? I’m not gon’ just leave my child because you want me to. I need to be there with you. Do I want a baby with you? Not really, but it is what it is.”

  “It’s not your baby, Will.”

“Whose is it then?” He cocked his head. His voice was calmer than I’d expected.

  “It’s Ian’s.” I shrugged.

“Or you’re just saying it’s Ian’s because he gave you that rock, and you know once he finds out I’m the father, that wedding is gon’ be finito.”

  “That’s not true. You’re not the father, I swear. It’s Ian’s.”

“Then why you tell me it was mine?” He got closer to me, towering over my frame.

“Because I wanted the financial assistance from the both of you. But now that I’m getting married, I need to be honest. You’re not my child’s father.”

“Well I believe I am. So I think Ian and I should have a talk, that way when the baby gets here, it won’t be any confusion.”

“No, no, you better not talk to him!” I yelled.

“You wanna play games, so I’m gon’ sit him down and let him know everything. You ain’t about to just run off into the sunset with my kid because you wanna marry that nigga.”

“It is not yours! How many times do I have to say that! Get out!” I started shoving him. “Get out!” I yanked my front door open once he was next to it and pushed him again.

Slamming the door in his face, I quickly locked it and let my head rest against it so I could catch my breath. I had to remember that now that I was pregnant, my energy levels were not the same.

My mind began racing, wondering when Will was going to snitch and how Ian was going to take it. There was no way I could let Will ruin what I’d been working all my damn life for.

Ever since I was nineteen, I’d been trying to bag a baller, and I finally had, in a better way than I could have imagined; I was pregnant and engaged. I would straight up have Will murdered before I let him fuck this up.

Rushing to my bedroom, I fetched my iPhone and dialed up Ian as I made my way back to the kitchen. I was still starving since Will’s hater ass interrupted me earlier.

“Hey, baby, you aight?” Ian answered out of breath.

“I am. I’m sorry were you busy?”

“No, you actually called at the perfect time. I just finished running on the treadmill.” It was quiet as I got my thoughts together. “I miss you. I should be home in a few days. I want you to look at some houses for us to live in together; no budget.”

See, no way I could lose this lifestyle.

“Ian, there is a problem I’m having. I should have mentioned it earlier, but I thought I could handle it. However, being pregnant, I’ve realized I’m not capable.”

  “What’s going on?”

  “Well, you know Will Dade?”

  “The hoe loving photographer nigga?”

“Yes,” I tittered. “He’s been stalking me, and it’s getting to a point where I’m afraid of him. I was going to get a restraining order, but they told me I needed some sort of evidence, which I don’t have because he always just randomly pops up wherever I’m at. And today, he came to the house to try to fuck me.”

“Hold on, hold on.” Ian sighed. “Will, Belly’s photographer, is stalking you? I thought you said Belly was trying to fuck with you?” I could hear the confusion in his tone.

“He was, babe. I’m going to be honest with you. I met Belly from hanging out with Blaise, and of course, that’s how I met Will and the rest of Belly’s crew.

I stupidly leaned on Will’s shoulder one night, complaining about how when I tried to tell Blaise her man was pushing up on me, she got mad. We became cool, and we would talk here and there, go to lunch a few times as friends. I guess he got the wrong idea. And I even think he’s the one that told the blogs I was pregnant by Belly to try to upset you. If not out of free will, then he did it because Belly told him to.”

“Wow, what the fuck? This is why I hated leaving you behind whenever I would travel. Baby, I’m training for the upcoming season—”

“No, no, I don’t need you to do anything. I’m just letting you know because he’s getting crazier. So if something happens to me, or even if he tries to confront you, I don’t want you to be surprised.”

“Aight. But I’m sending you a bodyguard this evening.”

I blushed so hard I could see it in the window above my sink.

  “Thanks, baby. I appreciate that.”

“And when I get back, this bullshit is gon’ be over with. Keep the doors locked, and make sure you put that alarm on, Nichole.”

  “Okay. I love you.”

  “I love you too.”

Hanging up the phone, I sighed out of relief, then proceeded to my fridge to start my grand breakfast.

Will was fucking with the wrong one.

  Two nights later…
r />   As I put bronzer on my face, my phone started ringing, so I looked down to see it was Helen. Getting up from my makeup station, I went to answer the door since I knew she was just calling to say she was here.

“Who is that fine ass nigga waiting outside your spot?” She switched in, wearing a really tight and short dress. Her shoes were cute and really high. Her long hair was curled, and she had on all the jewelry she could find in her home. She looked expensive and smelled even better, which made me smile because I was going to be living through her tonight. I had a belly and wouldn’t be as sexy.

“Ian got me a bodyguard now that we’re engaged. He’s always so worried about the baby.” I closed and locked the door. “I see you were playing no games.” I gestured toward her outfit.

“No games at all. I wanna keep his ass, but if I only get one night, I’m cool with that.”

Tonight, Helen and I were going to the strip club because we got word that Belly and his homies would be in there tonight. If you wanted to know where Belly was, just look on one of his ContraBandz Gang homies’ Instagram story. They always posted when they were going out to turn up and telling pretty bitches to DM them for more details.

“So you would take him from Blaise, knowing she’s pregnant?” I laughed, leaning up against my bar.

“Bitch, is that a joke? I don’t give a fuck about her or that damn baby. And now that it seems most of his hoes are gone, I feel like I have a better chance. I had to stop hanging with Megyn because her ass is depressed.”

“For real?” My face lit up. “She seems fine, always promoting her little lash company.”

Helen nodded with her eyes closed before reopening them.

“I just saw her the other day. She’s still in love with him, even after he embarrassed her and made her tell everybody she lied about the miscarriage. She claims it’s true still though.”

“Bitch, are you sure you want that dick? It clearly has these hoes going beyond insane.” I shook my head. “I mean, everyone except me.” I kept forgetting that I wanted Helen to think I fucked him before.

For a split second, I wanted to convince Helen not to go through with tonight because I would be envious. The thought of her having fucked Belly when I never got the chance was already annoying me. I wanted to marry Ian because I loved him, but I just wanted a sample of that Belly dick. I needed it before I settled down.

“You don’t have to remind me; this is nothing new. Maia’s ass is crazy too, and Cadence is out here making it seem like she’s still fucking him. I’m ready for that dick to turn me out!”

We both laughed as I shook my head at her.

“Well let me put on my highlighter and lipstick, then I’ll slip on my outfit so we can bounce. We wanna get there before all the hoes crowd him and his homeboys. You can get a drink; shit, someone needs to kill off that liquor sitting in my bar cabinet.”

  “Okay.”

I quickly put the finishing touches on my makeup and decided to go for a more revealing dress than I’d planned. I’d decided that if it felt right, I was going to fuck Belly tonight. I didn’t succeed in the past because he was always sober when I got to him, but since he had no fights coming up, I knew he’d be drunk off his ass, which was perfect. And once he felt these pregnant walls, he might get addicted. I wouldn’t mind busting it open for him on the side even after I married Ian.

Once I had my nude Peony Giuseppe heels on to match my nude dress, I slicked my hair up into a bun, leaving the perfect amount of baby hairs. I complemented my outfit with a Patek watch, some Cartier bracelets, and some long, gold Tiffany earrings. After putting on my perfume, I posed in the mirror, smirking.

Belly could pretend all he wanted, but that liquid courage would have him telling facts tonight, and the truth was, I was bad as fuck, and he knew it.

“Okay, you ready? I’ll drive since you decided to drink a big ass glass of Patrón straight.” I snatched the empty glass that Helen had sitting on my coffee table, then took it to the kitchen.

Laughing, she asked, “How did you know?”

“Because I can smell it, bitch! Here, chew some damn gum.” I rolled my eyes, handing her the stick.

Times like this, I missed going out with Blaise. I was a classy bitch and liked my friends to be the same. I didn’t like the idea of rolling up in the club with a friend who smelled like a damn bar in Mexico. Blaise would never be on the shit Helen was on right now.

“My bad. You said have a drink.”

“Yeah, maybe a glass of wine or a shot of Patrón. Not a glass! Come on.”

I yanked my door open then waited for her to walk out. I took a deep breath, not wanting to stress my baby or myself.

We hopped into my Mercedes, and during the drive to the strip club, I was happy to see that Helen wasn’t drunk. Had she been, I would have turned this car right around and took my ass home. I didn’t hang with females that got pissy drunk and sloppy.

When it used to be the four of us, Mindy, Blaise, Helen, and I, it was different because I could slip off with Blaise or Mindy when Helen wanted to get ratchet. But with it being just the two of us, I didn’t have that luxury.

We arrived at the club, and I pulled right into the lot around back.

“Excuse me, why is the parking fee $20?” I asked the Hispanic man standing outside in all black.

“Special guest tonight.” He pointed to the strip club, referring to Belly.

“Give me ten dollars.” I looked to Helen, who fetched two fives from her purse. I put it with my ten-dollar bill then paid the man and went to park.

I hated scheming ass Hollywood. I swear you could make a come up if you owned a parking lot out here.

Helen and I made sure we looked good then got out to head inside of the club. The bouncer let us by with no problems, and once in, I frowned at how loud “Uh Uh” by Blac Youngsta was playing.

The place was full of half-naked hoes, not the dancers, and when I looked to my left, I saw Belly’s section. Sucking my teeth, I shook my head because it was already infested with strippers. Cash was all over the floor as they shook their asses, making Belly and his friends grin with pleasure.

“He sure ain’t smiling like an engaged man.” Helen looked on with me, cheesing as Belly sipped some of the drink in his cup.

“Nope.” I scanned the place, even though it was crowded. “And baby mama Blaise ain’t nowhere to be found. This nigga is probably fucking about three hoes tonight.”

“You ain’t never lied, and I’m gonna be one of them.”

We started over, but I paused. “You go in first so that you can get his attention. He knows me, so he’s going to be on me first if he sees me with you,” I lied.

I really wanted her to test the waters, and if Belly was susceptible to her advances, then I would come through and take over. I stayed back, smiling softly at one of the strippers who walked by.

“Hi, Nichole.” She grinned. It wasn’t surprising for them to know me. All these gutter rats wanted to be like me, so they were fans. They were the same ones riding my dick in my comments on Instagram.

I gave her a wave, and then focused back on Belly’s section. I got closer just as Helen made it to the bouncer so that I could hear as much as possible with this music blasting. The bouncer licked his lips at the sight of Helen’s pretty ass and then allowed her in as she rubbed down his chest, flirting.

As soon as Helen got in Belly’s view, he yelled, “Aye, what the fuck!” Staring a hole through the bouncer. “Get her ass up out of here!” He pointed dead at Helen.

“My bad, I thought she was cool, since—”

“Nah, muthafucka. No regular hoes can come in here, only stripper hoes.” Belly cut the bouncer off. Helen was standing there looking dumb as hell. This was exactly why I sent her first to approach his rude ass.

“I can’t chill with you, Cortez?” Helen placed her hand on her hip as he took down some of his drink. I sucked my teeth at her, trying to use his real name.

  “She fin
e as fuck though, Blood.” Ozzy looked her up and down, licking his lips.

“Stick yo’ shit up in there on yo’ own fucking time, O. She not about to have my section smelling like wet wood and shit every time she moves.”

“Fuck you, nigga. I hope you get your ass beat in the next fight!” Helen spat.

“Keep running yo’ fucking mouth, bitch, and I’ll gut punch yo’ ass. Have you leaking all that nut that’s been simmering in yo’ rotten ass box.”

As I watched, muffling my laughter, I noticed some girls coming. They were dressed nice as fuck, and when I ran my eyes up their frames, I noticed it was that deejay Alivia, Blaise, and my little fucking sister Izzy. When I saw Blaise’s eyes land on Helen, I hid a little more, knowing her ass was crazy.

  POP!

“Oh shit!” The whole club seemingly hollered when Blaise hit Helen right in the face. I heard her nose crack, making me back away like Snow White did in the woods. I wanted no fucking parts! I was too damn pretty for this shit!

Helen yowled, and no one did anything to help her. Some stared for a minute, then went back to minding their own business. Others whispered, some laughed, but no one ran to her aide.

Afraid, I hurried out of the club, running as fast as these Giuseppes would allow to my car. I barely had the door closed before I was gunning it out of the parking lot, leaving Helen to fend her for damn self.

  Priscilla

Me: I’m gonna do it. Wish me luck.

Blaise: You’ll be fine. Text me if I need to come beat his ass.

Placing my phone down, I checked myself out in the mirror as if that mattered, and then left the bedroom. I peeked in on my kids, only because I was procrastinating, but then I pulled myself together. I needed to do this, and it had to be done while I was feeling strong.

Leaving my kids’ playroom, I went to the back where Rafi’s studio was, and could hear his song blasting from the outside. Taking a deep breath, I knocked lightly, making him turn the music down some.
