Vanilla

Derek got back on the bed and undid all of my restraints. “Roll over onto your belly,” he said gently to me. I watched him pick up a jar of coconut oil from off the ground and gather a copious amount in his hand. He melted it between his palms and placed them on my back, rubbing out my sore joints and muscles in what was the best, most tender, romantic backrub I’ve ever received.

“Thank you, sir,” I mumbled into the bed.

  “What was that?”

I repeated what I said and he corrected me. “Once the activities are over, when I make you feel good, you stop calling me ‘sir’.”

  “Okay, Derek.”

  “That’s much better.”

He continued to run his hands over my body, more stroking than massaging at this point.

“What happens now?” I asked, unsure of what proper protocol was.

“Well, that remains to be seen. What do you want to happen?”

I got up onto my elbows and looked up at him for a long pause. “I’m not sure, that remains to be seen.” I smiled.

He also smiled down at me, bending down and kissing me for the first time. “How about this for starters? Let’s go find a movie and order some late night pizza.”

I laughed. “That sounds like a good start to things.”

He got up and grabbed me a robe to put on and we walked to the living room to get situated.

“Man, I really can’t wait to tell Loren about this.”

“Be easy on her; while she’s a fun gal, I did turn her down once.”

My brows rose in surprise. “You did?”

He grinned mischievously. “Yes, she didn’t have, let’s say, a certain class about her.”

“Class? Yeah, I know what you mean; she is my best friend and is no doubt going to be drilling me for details.”

It was Derek’s turn to laugh. “Oh, I know how she is. Word does travel fast. She’s a good girl though, with a good head and heart. She’ll find her way.”

Together we ordered pizza, watched a movie and when it came time for bed, Derek allowed me to do one thing I wanted to do.

I grinned and sauntered over to the bed, raising an eyebrow and eyeing him sassily, grateful to have discovered there was more to life than ‘vanilla’. “So,” I said slowly. “How does this wand thing work?”
