“You’re not reaching that gate man, Ren is coming for ya and man I feel bad for you. He’s nothing nice, I’ve got a feeling he’s gonna take his time.”

“Fuck you!” Knuckles screamed at him but he knew. Renegade was a ruthless bastard and he wasn’t going to show any mercy. Renegade came out of the brush with a sick smile on his face and two very sinister looking knives, one in each hand.

“I gave you a chance, it ends here and I’d like to say I’m sorry, but you asshole I’m so not sorry! Hahaha!” he laughed out loud once again, right before the first slice down his cheek came. It wasn’t deep but enough to burn like hell, and Renegade went into his ‘executioner mode'. He was humming his favorite song from Slipknot as he continued to cut. The screams just encouraged him and before long Knuckles had passed out from the pain and loss of blood.

“Well Hell, that fucker ruined all my fun. Might as well drag him to the hole and be done.” Ren said as he pulled his Colt and ended the VP.

  Advice From The Queen

With the VP gone, the threat to Smoke had been neutralized but everyone’s mood was somber. Having someone so close become someone they didn’t know hurt and Smoke was hurting the most even if he wouldn’t admit it. Peyton knew her husband and she saw the torment in his eyes. Knowing him as well as she did, Smoke needed his family and that meant all of them including the brothers.

“Nero, we need to talk.” She had found him in his favorite chair watching the embers of the fire he had built. Smoke smiled at his wife, expecting an ass chewing. When she said the word talk, it generally meant he screwed up and was about to hear about it in triplicate.

“I know it’s only been a couple days but everyone is moping and I am not having that. We need to patch in Rory and you need a new VP. It’s Wednesday and I’ll have it all dealt with for the patch party on Saturday. I know his patch is sitting in your lock box and it needs to happen now. As for the VP spot, I have a few ideas.”

Smoke listened as his wife put it all out on the table. Now he could have said no, but when her suggestions were always so good why would he ever tell her no.

  Peyton went looking for Rylee,

knowing she would love to help put a party together, she found her feeding Micah lunch and sipping on Ginger Ale. The grin the Queen had couldn’t be contained as she squealed.

“Oh my gawd! Does he know yet? Oh my gawd, you’re pregnant!” Peyton exclaimed as she hugged Rylee. There was yet another Devil on its way.

“ Yep I took a test this morning, the nausea has been awful, and no I haven’t told Nash yet. He’s out with Jace and Raul doing whatever they do.”

That was perfect, Peyton had some wonderful ideas on how this should happen and she told Rylee about her ideas.

“Really? You know what, yeah that’s perfect. I think he’s gonna freak out though, I mean we’ve been trying for months and nothing. I just need something to curb the morning sickness or he’s gonna know.”

Peyton had some pills left from Nora and Bones could get more if they needed them so the secret would be kept until the patching in of Falcon.

Wisha got in on the party action too. She was pushing six months pregnant and Bones was adamant about her letting Rory and Jace pick up the slack. She and Bones had gotten the sex of the babies but hadn’t told anyone so the party seemed to be a good time to announce that too. They had already decided on names for them and figured that could go with the announcement.

Raul knew they needed someone to act as a mole, he couldn’t do it nor could any of his men or the Devil’s. Slinger had mentioned he had someone who might be willing and he was waiting on word from this person.

Slinger sat in the run down one room apartment waiting for his sister to make her decision. “We really need your help Suze, I need it. I have a wife now and a boy that need this man gone. He’s done so much damage and I need to know he’s dead, all I need from you is confirmation that Trevor is in that warehouse. That’s it, then you can go do what it is you do. Please little sister, I know I haven’t been the best brother in the world but I need this.”

Suzanne Woods listened to her brother plead for help, he had taken a wife and the man in question was the ex-boyfriend who had pretty much terrorized her from the moment she had met him. Suzy didn’t want to get involved, this wasn’t her fight.

The more she heard the more she knew she had to help. Nathaniel had never looked the way he did when he spoke of his wife, her brother who had been incredibly promiscuous had finally settled down. She could see the love and devotion on his face as he talked about his Rylee, there was little choice.

“Fine Nathaniel, I’ll help you on one condition. I want to meet my sister in law, maybe we’ll even become friends. God knows I could use one, maybe I’ll be able to kick this fucking habit if I have a friend. You know I hate using, but I hate the DT’s more.” He knew, Suzy had been a heroin addict for a long time, but she was his sister so he overlooked it.

Slinger called Raul and let him know he had a mole to alert them when Trevor was in the warehouse. The sale had been rescheduled according to Suzy. Trevor had changed the day to Sunday instead of Saturday. Nobody knew why, but it didn’t seem to matter to those looking for a deal on a kilo of Cocaine.

  Voting For A Party

Smoke knew his wife had suggested the proper person for the job of VP, but protocol said it needed to be a vote. Slinger was the first brother he went to, asking for his vote. The discussion lasted about thirty minutes, as Smoke plead his case. Slinger agreed, the choice couldn’t have been more perfect.

One by one Smoke made the rounds to each of the brotherhood, pleading his case for why they should vote with him. Each one agreed, they all thought Smokes choice for a new VP was the only choice.

The night of the party everyone had gathered around the picnic tables, waiting for Smoke to make his normal

  announcement.

“Evening all, few orders of business tonight before we can let loose and get shitfaced. Bones and Wisha are first so come on you two.”

Bones and Wisha took a spot at the head of the table next to Smoke. “Wisha and I have something to tell you, we had the ultrasound that tells the sex of the babies.” He reached over and rubbed his wife’s belly which had rounded out in the last few months.

“Zeke and I would like to introduce you all to Zhara and Zhoe,” Wisha announced, “we are having girls.”

The congratulations came from everyone and Bones couldn’t stop himself from tearing up. He loved this family.

Smoke started once again, looking towards Rylee. “Rylee has something she wanted to say to you all too.” Rylee followed suit and went to stand by Smoke.

“You guys have been so amazing to me, how each one of you has helped in the search for Trevor is just mind blowing. I thank you all so very much, and oh Nash; I’m pregnant.”

Slinger sat immobile, trying to process what his wife had just said. He swore she said they were pregnant. “Baby Girl? Are you sure? We did it? We’re really having a baby?” He went to his wife and hit his knees, kissing her belly and crying.

For Slinger this was the best night of his life, they were giving Micah a sibling and adding to their family. The

brotherhood all shook his hand in turns after he collected himself. Then Nash hugged Rylee, patting her stomach. “How far are we? Have you seen the doctor yet?” Slinger had a million questions for his wife but they were going to have to wait, his President was on his feet one more time.

“We have ano ther order of business to handle tonight. I am without a VP and that’s unacceptable so my wife made a suggestion and it’s a perfect one. My choice for VP is Renegade. Bones, yes or no?” Bones voted for Ren as did each man in turn around the table. Ren sat with his mouth wide open, not knowing what to say. Never did he think Smoke would ever choose him to lead, not as VP anyway.

“Are you seriously voting me in as Vise? Holy fucking shit man, I don’t know what to say.”

  Smoke knew he shocked hi
s friend, but Peyton was right. Renegade was the only one for the job. The men respected him, other clubs feared him and Ren was loyal to the Devil’s. Nothing else would have made sense.

“Yep man, you’re my new VP. One last order of business tonight before the beer and food. Falcon, it’s time brother.” Smoke showed the patch to his Prospect. Falcon just grinned.

“Looks like I’m getting my ass kicked tonight.” Rory said as he stood. He knew what patching in entailed and he could take it. He wanted that patch and once he had it, his ink would follow.

Smoke rolled the patch up, handing it to his Prospect with his left. Rory reached with his left, ducking as Smoke threw a big right. The President chuckled as he missed, he should have known his Prospect would anticipate a swing.

What Falcon didn’t anticipate was Ren putting a boot to the back of his knee, dropping him to the ground. Falcon recovered quickly and was on his feet and swinging back. Slinger took his turn, Krispy was next and then Bones. The rest of the brothers had their turn and after a twenty-minute beat down, Smoke stepped in and stopped it hugging his new brother.

Falcon stood with new patch in hand smiling and desperately trying not to bleed on it. Watching his new family, and grinning about his patch. This was his best day. Peyton came to hug her brother, she couldn’t be more proud. Then she went to find Renegade.

“Wyatt, congratulations!” He just looked and held open his arms. Peyton had been his savior so many times and he loved her. She was the only one with whom he had shared everything about the pretty girl from the bar. He told her everything, they all did. Peyton was the matriarch of this dysfunctional family and each of them would either be dead or in jail without her.

That night after the party Slinger took his wife for a walk in the moonlight, he wasn’t always the romantic he should be but tonight he knew he better be. She was giving him a child, and he didn’t care if it was a boy or a girl. Nathaniel Woods would be an outstanding father to this new baby just as he was to Micah.

“We really did it,” he grinned at her. “Damn Baby Girl, tell me everything. When did you find out?” Rylee wondered if he would be angry at her for keeping this from him, she hoped not.

“I took a test on Wednesday, I’d had my suspicions for about a week. I realized I’d missed my period, plus the nausea and being just exhausted made me think. It was the same feeling I had with Micah so it made sense to take the test. I did the math and I am right about 8 weeks. Monday I’ll call the OB and make an appointment. We did it Nash; we made a baby.”

Yes they had, and now he had to make sure the Trevor problem ended. In no way could he allow that man to keep drawing breath. Slinger wasn’t the murderous bastard Ren was, but to keep his family safe he would become just that.

Rylee had said Monday she would call the obstetrician. Slinger was hoping Monday someone was digging a hole out on Ren’s property. Trevor needed to be in that hole.

“Ry Baby you look so beautiful out here in the moonlight.” He whispered in her ear as the trail of kisses on her neck started. He felt her shudder under his touch, hearing her soft moans as he switched sides unbuttoning her shirt. He wanted her shoulder, it was the spot he knew would turn her to putty in his hands. Slinger knew exactly what to do to turn his wife on.

As his lips traveled, his fingers grazed her hardened nipples and that elicited another round of whimpers from Rylee. Her breasts were overly sensitive and just that slight touch had her shaking and sent shivers down her spine. In the time she had known him Rylee had found herself, and when she wanted something she would tell him.

“Nash,” she spoke breathlessly. “ Lay me down here and lick me. Put your tongue on my clit and your fingers in my pussy, make me come please!”

Hearing her almost beg was such a turn on for him. Almost as much as laying between her legs and feasting on her.

Slinger pulled his shirt off so she wasn’t on the dirt, doing just what she asked. He stripped her bare and as she lay on his shirt, Rylee spread her legs showing her husband just how turned on she was. Her smooth pussy was glistening with her juices and he could see it running out. He took his two fingers and dipped them inside her, he had to have a taste. When she gasped he repeated, watching her. He set a slow rhythm, pushing deep and with his mouth he suckled her lips and clit.

With each thrust of his fingers she responded moaning, almost grinding herself on his face. Rylee needed more friction than he was allowing her. Slinger was trying to draw out her orgasm but she had other ideas meeting the thrusts of his fingers and the licks of his tongue.

Every nerve was on fire and she felt herself throbbing, desperately needing release. Rylee had dug her fingers into Slingers shoulders, arching her back, desperately looking for the right amount of pressure to send her over and he knew it. He gave her what she needed, his entire mouth swallowing her and sending her into oblivion.

Rylee screamed out his name, her body thrashing through wave after wave of sheer ecstasy. Her body begging for his, and he didn’t deny her. Slinger crawled up her, entering her in one smooth motion.

His mouth found hers, kissing in time with the drives. He knew he wouldn’t last long but neither would she. Slinger knew his wife’s body and just how to move inside her to bring her to orgasm. With each driving thrust they inched closer to the edge, moaning and panting as both teetered.

  Rylee started her pre-orgasm

whimpers and he knew, roughening his pace and she went over. He quickly followed her with his own release, holding tight as they both came down off the high. Slinger and Rylee continued to kiss, laying naked in the moonlight under the stars and relishing their love.

  Bye, Bye Trevor

The night of the sale Suzy had been hanging around outside the warehouse, doing what she had been asked to. A few John’s had come by but this night she turned them down, stating she was looking for a fix. Most men picking up a hooker didn’t deal in dope and they certainly didn’t want one that was high. She played on her phone, making a few fake phone calls until she saw the man in question get out of a beat-up Chrysler.

It wasn’t the car she was expecting but it was definitely the man in the picture her brother had given her. She waited in the shadows watching him until he disappeared into the old dilapidated building, and once she walked out of earshot she called her brother.

“Hey Nathaniel, he’s here and I’m out of here. I did what you asked but this isn’t my fight brother. Just remember our deal, I’ll be waiting.” Suzy hung up and walked down the street, disappearing into the night.

Slinger pocketed his phone looking to Raul. “The eagle has landed, how you want us to handle this?” Slinger waited for a response.

“We go in and that puto dies in that piece of shit brick box.” Ren shook his head, he knew how much Raul wanted Trevor but this was not the way. He had a few ideas of his own.

“That’s a bad move Raul,” Renegade spoke up, “we don’t know what he’s got in there and who he might have helping him. Now this is just me, but I’d cover all the exits to the place and grab him when he comes out. We know what he’s driving so worst case we can follow him. I’d probably follow him, see where he’s going and let him relax.

“ He’s already paranoid from the dope so I’d give him time to calm down. He won’t expect anything once he’s on the road, but again, that’s just me.”

Raul scowled, but you could see the wheels turning. He liked Renegades idea but having to admit it was going to sting, each man could plainly see that.

“Crazy Renegade isn’t so crazy after all. You are very smart amigo, we do it your way. But if he gets away, I will kill you very slowly and laugh as I am cutting you into tiny bits hermano.”

Ren just grinned, he knew he could best Raul if he had to. He had spent too many years being a survivor. Peyton once told him he was a Neanderthal and she was right, but Renegade had always come out alive. That had to count for something.

Slinger and Jace kept an eye on the back of the warehouse as Ra
ul and Ren watched the front from behind an old rusty dumpster. Neither really enjoying the smell, but one did what they had to in order to get the job done.

Renegade silently chuckled thinking Raul was going to ruin those Armani shoes he had on. Ren wasn’t worried, his old Docs had seen much worse than some trash. Blood and other bodily fluids were on the top of the list, even Micah had christened them with apple juice. That actually made him laugh when it

happened, the little man was saying ‘uh oh' and pointing. He liked the kid,

watching the little one was a breath of fresh air in the chaos they lived in.

Trevor snuck out the back door with the cash in his pocket, he was almost home free. He still had enough product, he could sell more if the need arose. Right now all he was thinking about was heading north and making it to Canada. Mexico was so much closer but he knew that was a death sentence, that was Raul’s territory and they were hunting him. You don’t cross the cartel and live very long.

He really ha dn’t mean to steal the drugs, he had just used too much. It was so much more than he could pay for so the only option he had was to run. If Rylee had just given him the money he knew she had, none of this would be happening.

Jace and Slinger watched Trevor slink down the alleyway towards that junker he had driven up in, sending a text to Renegade to alert them. The mark was on the move and they needed to follow. Slinger had rented two very plain sedans for the job so neither duo was worried about being spotted.

Jace and Slinger were two car lengths back following Trevor, Ren and Raul took the road just West, keeping in constant contact with the others. This was a huge game of cat and mouse, and the mouse was about to get snapped in a trap.

When Trevor went left, Slinger went straight but Raul took his spot and continued the pursuit. They had left the city and we’re on the interstate heading north, Slinger and Jace slid in behind Ren and Raul. Both cars left enough space to not look suspicious. They had been behind Trevor for a few hours before Slinger realized where they were.
