Moving to sit up fully, she rested her hands back on his thighs, giving him an unobstructed view of her pussy as it swallowed his cock whole. The sight had him clenching his teeth, forcing back the orgasm that was rushing up on him.

“Fuck,” he groaned, his thumb moving faster against her clit. Her whimpers increased along with her pace, her body tightening around his erection.

“Oh, God. Yes,” she hissed, the word sliding through her lips in an extended moan. “Oh, fuck, I’m gonna come.”

He increased the pace of his fingers against her as he met her in each thrust, bucking upward to get as deep as he could. With a strangled cry, she came, the pulsing of her pussy around his cock pulling him over the edge with her.

She collapsed against his chest, spent and sated, as his fingers tickled lightly over her back. He reached up, brushing the hair away from her face as he dropped a kiss to her brow.

After what had happened the night before, he never thought he’d be there again, never thought he’d feel her naked body pressed against his. And he certainly never thought he’d be on the receiving end of her love.

But as her lips puckered, kissing directly over his heart, he knew just how lucky he was.

Wrapping his arms around her, he held her closely to him. “I love you, Livvy,” he said, reveling in how freeing it felt to be able to say it to her after all these years.

Her cheek puffed against his chest, and he could tell that she was smiling. Raising her head, she looked down at him. “I love you, too.”

She leaned in to kiss him, her lips soft against his.

“I know that our arrangement is sort of null now that we’ve blown the original agreement out of the water,” she said, pulling back, “but I do still have those three other weddings...”

“Mmm-hmm,” he answered with a nod. “And are you asking me to be your plus one, officially?” Her eyes brightened, and he didn’t think he’d ever tire of looking at her. With a lightness he hadn’t felt in so long, he realized he’d never have to. She was his.

She smiled, folding her hands over his chest and resting her chin on them. “Nope.” Then, as if mirroring his thoughts, she said, “I’m asking you to be mine.”

  About the Author

Brighton Walsh is a storyteller at heart. Whether through words or pictures, she’s been weaving tales for as long as she can remember. After decades of cultivating her writing, she finally decided to give life to the voices in her head and set forth to write her first novella. Love is her first love, and writing about it is a dream come true.

When she’s not overwhelmed by the incessant chatter in her mind, you can generally find Brighton with her nose buried in a steamy book or partaking in some retail therapy. The setting of her life story takes place in the Midwest, characters, including her very own real-life hero, she found in her supportive and swoony husband, and her two energetic kids who (fortunately) know nothing about the naughty things she puts down on paper.

Where no great story goes untold.

The variety you want to read, the stories authors have always wanted to write.
