L.A. Boruff: Literary Yours Bonus Scene
Takes place the Halloween after their Wedding
Hello readers! If you’ve read Literary Yours, you’ll enjoy this bonus. If you haven’t, there aren’t any spoilers. It’s an RH after all, we all know in the end will be a HEA. If you like my writing here, consider picking up a copy to learn how they all got together! Much love to you all and I hope you enjoy this bit of steam.
“I’m coming!” I shouted at my husbands. They stood by the door, decked out in their superhero costumes, grinning at me in that way that they did. As if they were humoring me. Maybe they were.
“Thank you again for throwing this party. It was wonderful.” Arch’s parents were celebrating their fiftieth wedding anniversary, and his sisters had thrown a massive party on the farm. Since they’d gotten married on Halloween, it was a costume party.
“It was our pleasure. It’s not every day that a family gets to celebrate a fiftieth,” Linda replied, while adjusting her belly. She wore a white shirt with a red skirt, and had glued colorful cotton balls all over her enormous belly. She looked like a gumball machine.
Moriah put her arm around me and steered me toward my waiting husbands. Linda waddled along with us. “If you don’t go, they’re going to hog tie you. And they know how.” The feathers on her arm tickled my neck. She was dressed as a black bird of some sort.
“I’m sure they do,” I laughed. They smiled and waved at the stragglers remaining after the party. Mostly their own siblings.
I finally extracted myself from his sisters’ arms and we headed out to the rental car. Arch had wanted to spring for a limo, but I hated being ostentatious. Though we had made
sure his parents had one to take them to the airport for their surprise vacation.
Arch took my elbow. “We need to take an extended vacation and let you come and get to know everyone in the family.”
“I don’t want to leave now. They’re all so remarkable.” It was like they’d all taken some sort of accomplishment pill. They were all smart, gorgeous, funny and somehow made me feel like I was a part of the cool club that they invented. I wanted to bask in their welcoming embrace all night.
“I really want to leave and get you out of that costume,” Gray said, sliding his finger down my neck. “You look uncomfortable.”
I shivered and looked at him with my lustiest expression. He should know exactly how he made me feel. “Eyes on the road, Romeo.”
He barked out a laugh and moved both hands back to the steering wheel.
“I’m not driving,” Wes whispered in my ear from the seat behind me as he leaned forward and put his hands on my shoulders. “That costume looks like it needs to be crumpled on the floor of the bedroom.”
“How long until we’re back at the cabin?” The farm had several cabins across the property that they rented out by using a bed and breakfast website. We were in one for the week.
“Just about five minutes,” Gray said.
“That’s too long.” I’d become spoiled in the ten months since we’d been married. They were always up for sex, if one of them wasn’t around or wasn’t in the mood, another was. At the same time, they were ultimate gentlemen if I wasn’t in the mood, which hadn’t happened often.
I’d made sure they knew that I was definitely in the mood tonight.
After my third glass of wine, I’d waltzed over to Wes. He sat at a table eating and talking to his cousins. I smiled at them, but whispered into his ear, “I’m not wearing panties, and I’m soaking wet. I can feel moisture dripping down my inner thigh, and I’m going to have to go to the bathroom and clean myself up.”
He’d stiffened and pulled at his tie. “Do you need any help?” he asked in a normal voice. The rest of the table looked on curiously.
“No, darling, I’m fine. Just wanted you to know.” I sauntered toward the back of the barn-turned-dance hall, where a bathroom was tucked in the corner. Technically it was a barn, but it was mainly used for events on the farm, so it had a nice restroom and changing area in the back. I hadn’t been kidding. The wine, combined with the knowledge of what my night would hold, had made me wet enough to carry around a mop bucket.
Not long after I’d made sure Wes was looking forward to our night, I’d pulled Gray out onto the dance floor. We had been dancing all night, it was one of our favorite things to do on a date night. When we were finished swaying back and forth and the song ended, I put my lips to his ear and whispered, “My clit is swollen and throbbing, ready for you tonight.”
His arms had tightened around me and he growled in my ear before replying. “You will pay for that, Hermosa.”
His idea of making me pay was something akin to teasing me until I begged, and I was more than happy to pay the price of my whispers.
I was headed to find Arch when he found me. “So, I hear you’re ready for the good stuff tonight,” he said from behind me.
Turning my head, I glanced at him over my shoulder, fluttering my lashes coyly. “Maybe I am. Is that a problem?”
“It’s never a problem. You’d better be ready, you’ve got those two worked up.”
Jutting out my chin, I pursed my lips. “Good,” I said with a smirk. “I hope you’re ready.”
His booming laughter followed me as I sauntered away, twirling the tail of my cat costume behind me. It was the sexiest costume I’d ever worn, but still had enough padding and coverage to make me modest in front of their parents. It was an homage to my own cat, Satan. He was back at home being spoiled by my best friend, Todd.
Wes’s magic fingers squeezed my shoulders, telling me we were pulling up at the cabin. I had drifted into a wine-induced lull as he rubbed my shoulders and I contemplated our night.
“If all it takes to get you moaning is a shoulder rub, I know how I’m greeting you after work every day from now on,” Arch said.
I looked back at him. “I was moaning?” I’d had just enough wine to not even notice.
“You’re making your bedroom noises,” Gray said as he put the car in park and adjusted his crotch. “It’s making me hard.”
“Me, too,” said Arch.
“Me, too,” said Wes.
“Sorry! I’ll try to be quieter.”
“Don’t you dare,” Wes said. “Moan all you want to.”
Gray hopped out of the car and walked around to open my door. When we’d started dating, they opened my car door constantly, and it drove me crazy. I finally put my foot down and asked them to stop, but apparently they loved pampering me. We compromised and agreed that they could be Southern gentlemen on date nights, but they had to let me be independent any other time.
It irked them, but they complied, and I got a little bit of my independence back. I was determined not to let them overwhelm me with their macho-yet-loving antics.
Since the party was considered a date night for us, I waited patiently for my door to be opened while ignoring the scuffle as they argued, each of them wanting to open it.
Finally Wes won, since it had been the longest since he and I had our dedicated date night. He opened the door and held his hand out for me to hold as I stepped out of the car. Normally we would then walk hand in hand to the door, but I guess my teasing had been ultra-effective. As soon as my feet hit the gravel of the driveway, my legs were scooped out from under me and I found myself being carried bridal-style toward the cabin.
I didn’t mind. It was so hot to be carried straight to bed.
Looking over his shoulder, I waved at Gray as he followed behind us. Arch had went ahead of us to unlock the door.
Once inside, Wes headed straight for the bedroom we were sharing.
We’d been married for almost a year, and at first we’d had four different bedrooms. Increasingly though, we would all pile up in my bed and the guys only used their rooms for their clothes. Eventually we gave in and knocked down some walls, combined two of our bedrooms into one, and converted the room on the other side into a massive walk in closet. One special-ordered bed later and we had our bedroom. It left us a guest room for the rare occasions we wanted to be alone—like if one of us was sick or worked late, or if we had a one-on-one date night. Or if we had a guest.
The bedroom in the cabin didn’t have the massive bed, but we scrunched in the king sized bed and it worked out fine, if a little cramped. I was very excited to see how they made use of the space tonight.
One of them had been busy while we were at the party. I hadn’t had eyes on them the entire night, and they’d obviously sneaked back to the cabin at some point.
The bedroom was covered in candles. Arch lit the last few as Wes carried me in.
“Oh wow!” I exclaimed. The bed was made, which was not how I’d left it. A bottle of sparkling wine chilled beside it, four glasses ready for us.
“Thirsty?” Wes asked against my hair. He placed me on the carpeted floor and put his hands on my shoulders before I felt the zipper on the back of my costume slowly separate.
Fingers trailed down my skin as it was exposed to the cool air. Halloween in Georgia was still hot, so the air conditioner was on full blast. Goosebumps erupted all over my body and my nipples stood at attention.
Gray walked around me to reach the wine and poured four glasses. He handed me mine, then sipped his own. His eyes were glued to my chest.
Wes continued running his fingers up and down my spine. He slipped the costume off of my left shoulder then pressed his lips to the bare skin.
Arch stood at the head of the bed, watching. He enjoyed watching me be pleasured. It got him all riled up to join in after I’d had my first orgasm.
“Do you like what you see?” I asked him, as Wes slipped the costume off of my right sh
oulder.
Gray pushed my long hair back so that my neck was exposed. While Wes kissed my right shoulder, Gray leaned in and pressed his lips against the left side of my neck.
I let my head fall back against Wes as I moaned. Gray gave my neck a small nip and my moan turned urgent. Soothing the spot with his tongue, he pressed himself against my front as Wes did the same behind me, and I felt the overwhelming evidence of their desire through their superhero costumes.
“Take your costumes off, please. I can’t feel your chests through the padding.” We’d had to special order the costume big enough for Wes. With his natural muscles I didn’t know why he needed padding, but whatever.
They both stepped back and dropped the costumes to the waist, so they wore only their thin undershirts. Wes pressed himself against my back again and ran his hands up my hips. I put my hands on Gray’s chest to stop him from moving in.
Instead, I grabbed the bottom of his shirt and tugged it over his head, exposing his massive tattoo. I loved running my fingers over it, up and down the snake twining around the sword in the massive scales of justice. He had a smattering of chest hair in the middle, right at the hilt of the sword. My hands instinctively started there, then I ran my nails down, straight for the thing I wanted most.
