Insatiable (The Curse of Avalon Book 3)

That’s where I took a bit of creative license; in many theories about the grail, it was described as being healing, life-preserving… and so is the supposed, mystical isle of Avalon. Many of the legends revolving around King Arthur state that he was searching for this grail himself… it’s not a far leap to figure out where I gathered the idea from and how I twisted it around for my own literary gain. (**laughs evilly**)

Now I have been to the museum, but years ago. It’s different now, and I don’t really remember it. If I messed up the layout, or anything—my apologies. But the general facts about it, and the area—that we can prove—are basically true to my knowledge. Alexandria is an actual town in Minnesota, the museum is quite real.

A documentary I watched from 2009 on the History Channel called The Holy Grail in America (produced and written by two Minnesotans) sort of inspired the idea of connecting this stone and using it for the purpose of furthering ahead this story and helping to link all of this Camelot/Arthur/etc stuff to Minnesota. Because, really—why else would so many supernaturals be here?! I have no idea how true everything is in the documentary, but it was interesting nonetheless and gave me a great idea.

The documentary is shown in limited rotation on the History Channel still, but it is purchasable at Amazon and other retailers.

  About the Author

Sariah Skye physically resides with her family in southern Minnesota but mentally everyone is pretty sure she’s from Uranus (stop it…don’t go there). She’s a typical quirky Aquarian that swears too much, loves wine, shiny objects, and hates sarcasm and never, ever uses it.

She doesn’t take herself too seriously and neither should you, except for the books. Those you should take seriously. Except for on the off-chance they’re funny, then you should laugh.

When not being obnoxious or strange… she’s probably dead. Because she’s always those things. But in addition she also loves Star Trek, Doctor Who, ‘90s reruns, listening to music and claims to be Imagine Dragons’ biggest fan (a legend in her own mind. The members of Imagine Dragons claim no knowledge of such fan. They’ve clearly been brainwashed).

In addition to all this oddity she’s an unprofessional obsessive fangirl, loves reading, hates anything domestic, and loves her pretty pink straitjacket. Oh, and she loves to chat with her unwilling kidnappees—err, “fans”, online at various places, like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram .Or drop her an email at sariahskyeauthor@gmail.com or private message her on Facebook.

She also has a private group called the Shenaniganators for anyone who might possibly want to follow her works, progress or just share a silly meme war (though she really doesn’t understand why anyone is there, she loves them all nevertheless). If you want to join, you’re more than welcome: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1181871955189542

You can also sign up for her newsletter, and maybe she’ll actually remember to send one out one of these days: http://eepurl.com/cqSJWD
