Chapter 4
ASHTON
The view from my penthouse suite wasn’t much different from the one in my office. I was still high above the rest of Snow Falls, looking down on everything and everybody that laid below. I’d gotten so used to the view that it was only when I was around people like Noah that I grew to appreciate it.
The Omega stood next to the window in my living room and stared out into the distance. He didn’t look much different from most of the Omegas in the city. Scruffy dark hair. Goatee somewhat unkempt even though there was a charming smile hidden behind it. His jacket was dusty and the leather was worn. There were some rips in his blue jeans.
But more than anything that stood out to me was the wonder in those brown eyes of his. He was childlike in the way he stared.
“This is incredible,” he said, his jaw lowered slightly in amazement.
The wonder in his eyes wasn’t something that could be faked. It was hard not to smile at him.
“It is incredible,” I said as I observed the view next to him. “Especially at night, when you can see all of the stars in the sky. You can see from here all the way to the horizon…”
“It’s like there’s another world out there over on the other side.”
“I can assure you that there’s not another world,” I said with a chuckle. “Have you ever been?”
He shook his head, some slight disappointment on his face.
“I’ve lived my entire life in Snow Falls,” he said. “I guess that goes for most men like me.”
“Men like you… And just what kind of man are you, Noah?”
When he looked at me, there was an innocence in his eyes. Despite the scruff on his face and how strong he looked underneath his leather jacket, there was a timidity not unlike other Omegas I’d seen before.
But there was something else about Noah. A familiarity that I felt even though I didn’t remember him from high school at all.
I smiled softly at him and his cheeks started to blush with embarrassment.
“Most everybody I know from high school is living ordinary lives,” he said. “It’s amazing to think that I’m spending time with the most successful one in our class.”
“It’s an amazing coincidence when you put it like that. But fate. Luck. Whatever you want to call it. We’re here now.”
“Ashton… Can I ask you something?”
“Of course.”
“What were you really doing in that bar? It’s not the kind of place someone like you would be spending time in. And I’ve seen you on TV and in magazines before. You’re always dressed in a suit.”
“Are you saying I’m not really me and I’m faking it?”
“It’s just… I guess I didn’t know what to really expect.”
“I ended up in the Southern Block because of my own curiosity. I may be the richest man in the city but I’m just as curious as any other man.”
His throat bobbed up and down when he swallowed. It was endearing to see how suddenly shy he’d become. I leaned forward and put a hand on his arm and noticed he was shivering slightly.
“Are you cold?” I asked.
“No… Not cold…”
“My living room isn’t the most comfortable place in my home. I don’t have guests over very often. Why don’t you come with me and I’ll show you a place more comfortable?”
I raised an eyebrow at him.
Come on now…
My intentions couldn’t have been more obvious. I never liked flaunting my status or wealth but Noah was a handsome Omega. And it had been a long time. I was determined to see this through.
Noah smiled softly at me and nodded, his willingness suddenly becoming more playful.
“This way,” I said.
I listened to his footsteps behind me as we made our way toward my bedroom. The rush of the anticipation building in my stomach was palpable. I clenched my jaw to keep it all down but the pheromones coming from the man near me were almost too much to handle.
As soon as Noah was in my bedroom, I turned around and pounced on him. My hands cupped his face and my lips pressed to his. My tongue slithered between his teeth. He moaned softly into my mouth as our kiss became deeper. The scruff on his face was rough against my skin.
It’s been too long…
My entire body was losing control to my desires. I held back for just a second and pulled my face away from Noah, regaining my senses to make sure that everything was all right.
“Noah… Are you sure you want this?” I asked.
That tender smile of his was still there despite the heat I felt coming from him.
“I’ve known you since high school,” he whispered. “I’ve dreamed of this moment for years. I… I still don’t think this is real.”
“It’s real… Let me show you…”
I reached between his legs and grabbed his crotch. A small bulge swelled in my palm underneath his jeans. His jaw dropped and a deep gasp came out of him. Another kiss stopped him from moaning even more.
We struggled with one another as we inched closer to my bed. We took turns undressing each other. I took off his shirt. He took off mine. I undid his belt. He zipped my jeans down. A furious passion consumed us both, our lips locked together and our tongues dancing the entire time.
It wasn’t long before we were both naked.
The full moon was shining bright tonight. It illuminated through the window and highlighted all of the muscles on Noah’s body. He had the kind of physique that any Alpha would be more than willing to ravage.
God, it’s been too long…
I couldn’t remember the last time I’d laid with another man. Now that Noah was here with me, holding out for so long only made what was about to happen that much more satisfying.
Noah stood before me, his body on display, his cock hanging down between his legs.
“You’re the Alpha,” he said. “I’ll do whatever you want.”
“I only want you to do what Omegas do.”
He gave me a nod and walked toward me. He fell to his knees. He didn’t hesitate to take my painfully swollen cock between his lips.
“Oh, God…”
My knees buckled so bad that I was forced to sit on the edge of the bed. I would’ve been embarrassed if it didn’t feel so damn good.
Noah worked his mouth on my cock like he’d done it before. His tongue slithered on the underside of my shaft. His lips sealed and sucked me in. He lowered his face down on me completely, taking my length all the way down into his throat.
He was so wet… so warm… My muscles tensed from the pleasure beginning to rack my body.
One hand gripped my sheets while another squeezed his shoulder. Noah worked effortlessly with both hands squeezing the sheets at my sides. Watching him bob his head back and forth on my dick would’ve been enough to make me burst right then and there. If that wasn’t enough, the way he looked up at me as he sucked me off made me tremble even more.
“I can’t… I can’t take it… I must have you…”
I grabbed him by the arms and pulled him off of me. My cock popped out of his mouth with a loud slurp. He gasped a deep breath, his mouth low as spit dripped down his chin.
“Whatever you want, Alpha…”
I directed him onto the bed and forced him onto all fours. He gasped when I slapped him on the ass and spread his cheeks. Fluids dripped out of him, trailing down the insides of his muscular thighs. I’d never seen something so inviting before.
“This is what I want, Omega…”
The condoms resting in the top drawer next to my bed hadn’t been put to use in a long time. Now I wondered if I would use all of them with Noah.
I ripped open the foil between my teeth then sheathed my stiff cock with the latex. All the while, Noah remained on all fours, his ass presented to me like a grateful Omega.
My hands found his waist. I squeezed tight. My cock guided itself toward the heat coming from his asshole. We were both breathing hard in anticipation.
/> “Give it to me,” he sighed.
“Say it. Say you want me to fuck you.”
“Fuck me, Alpha. Fuck me like I know you can.”
I couldn’t refuse even if I tried.
I pressed my tip to his entrance then plunged my cock into him. He was so tight but the fluids made him slick enough to move into him with ease. It was like his body swallowed me whole.
Oh, God…
I could only think about how good he felt. I tightened my grip around him, squeezing him firm to make sure that I wouldn’t lose control.
“Fuck me, Alpha… Fuck me, Alpha… Fuck me, Alpha…”
Noah chanted the words in rhythm with my strokes. Every hard thrust he took, Noah gave me more motivation than I needed. Feeling his insides stretch and collapse on my cock made the friction too much for me to handle.
The fire burning inside of me was burning so hot that there was no way to put it out now.
My muscles tensed. Sweat dripped from every inch of my skin. My heart was pounding so hard in my chest. I clenched my jaw so tight that it hurt. I was giving it to Noah as hard as I could, fulfilling his pleas for me to fuck him.
“Noah… I’m gonna come…”
“Come inside of me… Come inside of my ass, Alpha…”
“Take my cum, Omega… Take every drop…”
My balls tightened up. All of the cum building up inside of me was like a dam on the verge of bursting.
I pounded Noah relentlessly, smacking my hilt against his ass. The rhythmic clapping of our bodies grew louder. The mattress squeaked underneath us. The walls weren’t thick enough to mask our grunts.
It didn’t matter. I needed this. I needed my release. I needed to come inside of Noah.
“Noah… I’m coming… I’m coming…”
One last, forceful thrust shifted his body. I buried myself to the hilt, planting my cock firmly inside of him as my cum gushed out of me. Thick pulses of my seed swelled the latex shielding him from me. There was enough cum that I wondered if any of it spilled out of the condom.
Noah trembled in my grip. His tight body was so sweaty in my hands but I managed to hold him tight until I released every drop I could.
As soon as I finished coming, I fell on top of him. My chest pressed against his sweaty back. My cock still planted inside of him. We both gasped deep breaths as we tried to recover.
It took me a good amount of time before my senses returned to me. I pulled out of Noah and rolled over onto my side. I snapped the rubber off my cock and tossed it into a nearby wastebasket. When I turned back to Noah, I saw him laying on his side. Between his legs, his cock glistened with a small puddle next to it on the mattress.
“Sorry,” he said sheepishly. “I didn’t mean to make a mess.”
I smiled at him then put my lips on his.
“Don’t worry,” I whispered. “I plan on making an even bigger mess with you. We’ve still got the whole night ahead of us.”
He bit his lip, his cheeks red from the sex but from embarrassment just the same.
“I like the sound of that,” he said.
“Good. We’re just getting started.”
Chapter 5
NOAH
I whistled softly as I worked over the pan. The smell of the food. The steam rising from the heat. Everything about Ashton’s luxurious kitchen put a smile on my face. Even though he appeared to be living alone in his penthouse, there was more space than I was used to.
But I wasn’t in a good mood because of the moment I was in. I relived the memories of last night. Ashton was everything I could ever dream of finding in an Alpha. It created a giddiness in my stomach that I couldn’t help but smile.
With the sun shining bright through the window, I got lost in my cooking. I was so distracted by my thoughts that I felt like I was alone.
“Hey.”
I jerked my head around and saw Ashton standing a few meters away from me. His bare body on display, I could see him even more clearly than last night with the sun highlighting his features. The cuts and striations of his muscles looked even more amazing than I remembered on his tan skin.
He smirked at me and looked at the burner.
“Cooking?” he asked.
“I, uh, I thought I’d make you some breakfast… You have a lot of ingredients in the fridge. I’m sorry… I couldn’t help myself. I should’ve—”
“You don’t have to apologize for cooking me breakfast. I usually do it myself.”
“You? You make your own breakfast?”
“Does that surprise you?”
“I just figured that you had someone do it for you.”
“I could afford to have someone do it for me. That’s true. But nobody ever makes it just how I want it. Perhaps I haven’t been looking hard enough.”
The way he smiled at me made it obvious he still remembered clearly what happened last night. All the alcohol in the world wouldn’t be enough to forget how he ravaged me.
I looked back at the pan as the heat came to my cheeks.
How embarrassing…
I was never one to be shy around anybody. I’d been around all kinds of Alphas. But Ashton… He was something else.
“Breakfast is almost ready,” I said. “Why don’t you have a seat and I’ll bring you a plate?”
“Sounds good.”
Ashton moved over to the table off to the side of his living room. It was right next to the window of his penthouse. The view was just as gorgeous as I remembered it, the morning sun just starting to illuminate the city down below.
I scraped all of the food together and made a couple of plates for us then headed over to the table.
“This looks good,” Ashton said as he smacked his lips. “What is it?”
“A small stack of pancakes… Side of cooked ham… Roasted, seasoned potatoes… I’m sure it’s nothing complicated like you’re used to—”
“The simplest things can be the most satisfying. Thank you for breakfast, Noah.”
He bowed his head to me. To think that the richest man in the city was thanking me for something I’d done for him was another reminder for me to pinch myself. To think that I’d ever be making breakfast for Ashton Webb after sleeping with him was so crazy it sounded like a joke.
I took a seat across from him and watched as he dug into his food. He didn’t hesitate, savoring every bite like he was actually enjoying it.
“This is good,” he said.
“Thanks.”
“Do you have a lot of experience cooking?”
“I work at a restaurant.”
“You work at a restaurant. Which restaurant?”
“Oh, I’m sure you’ve never heard of it…”
I looked away from him as my embarrassment returned to me.
“I’m sure I’ve never heard of it,” he said with a chuckle. “That’s why I’m asking.”
“It’s… It’s a place called Chan’s. In the Southern Block. A Chinese restaurant.”
“Chinese… I do love Chinese food.”
“There’s a lot of good Chinese food in Snow Falls. I’m sure you’ve had better.”
“Better is one thing. But I haven’t had Chan’s. If the food is as good as this breakfast, I’m sure I’ll enjoy it either way.”
“I don’t do much of the cooking. Most of my time is spent washing dishes and cleaning tables. Sometimes they let me cook when it gets busy. I’ve picked up a thing or two.”
“It certainly tastes like it.”
He sliced his pancakes with such precision. It was like everything he did was so refined. He put another forkful into his mouth and chewed with his eyes locked on me. I smiled softly at him and kept on eating my breakfast, chewing to distract myself from how awkward I felt.
“What else do you do, Noah?”
“What?”
“You said you work at the Chinese restaurant… Chan’s… What else do you do?”
“I… I don’t do anything else,” I said as I shook my head. “That’
s my only job.”
“I’m sorry,” he said, his laugh as charming as it always was. “I wasn’t clear. I mean, what is it you do?”
“Like… for fun?”
“Or not fun. I’m sure you have leisure time.”
He raised his eyebrows. The way he was staring at me, I almost believed that he was sincere. Even if he didn’t care, I figured I would at least humor him to pass the time.
What’s the harm?
“Sometimes I spend some time at the shelter,” I explained.
“The shelter. What kind of shelter?”
“There’s one on Broadway. They take in everybody. Homeless. Runaway Omegas. People who are just down on their luck. There are a lot of those kinds of people in the Southern Block.”
“That’s unfortunate. The poverty in that part of town is tough. I’ve tried convincing the board of directors to allocate more funds to those in need but they’re a stubborn old bunch.”
“I’m sure they’d be grateful but it’s not necessary. People in that part of town… They’re strong. They do everything it takes to get by.”
Ashton nodded politely then turned to look out the window. Even his profile looked more magnanimous than any man I’d ever seen. It was hard not to stare at him.
He ate his breakfast without saying much. The awkward silence returned and I found myself growing more uncomfortable with every second that went by.
“What are your plans today?” he asked suddenly.
“What?”
“Your plans? Are you doing anything special today?”
“Special,” I scoffed. “I guess working is special if you’re a certain kind of person.”
“I see…”
“I’m sure your day is more interesting than mine. Do… you have anything special planned?”
“You probably think I live a glamorous life.”
“Looking at your place, the thought had crossed my mind…”
“Work is anything but glamorous though. Business meetings. Fund discussions and allocations. Conference calls. Balancing a schedule can be exhausting even if I’m sitting in a chair all day. Sometimes I feel like I’m strapped into it and there’s no way I can get out of it.”
