I’d already decided New York was out until I was able to function.
Striking out on my own and holing up for a while…
I thought all my options over, which took no time at all. I wanted to be with Grant.
“I’ll go with you,” I said.
His eyes flickered to my face before they went back to looking down. “Okay.”
And so it was decided.
