Devon Falls: Fiery Magic

Damien pleaded, his eyes searching for her response. She schooled herself carefully. How much of what he said was true? He’d viciously wounded her all those years ago, left her alone and pregnant with never a backward glace, never a thought as to what had become of her, never a hint of remorse for the callous way he’d destroyed their future.

“I never stopped loving you, wishing for you, and hoping to be with you. Can you forgive me for being a foolish stupid man who threw away the one woman who had given him the most important thing she had: her heart?”

Alicia was stunned. Her heart cracked some at the revelation and the naked need in Damien’s face. Tears slowly slid down her cheeks as she grappled with the pain of the memories, the love that was still inside of her for this man. “Damien…I don’t know what to say except why now? It’s been several years, and in all that time I never heard from you, just the gossip that you had models, actresses, wealthy heiresses as your lovers. Bedding all those women, that weren’t an act of contrition, proof of love for me, no matter who forced you from Devon Falls. How can I trust you, believe you now after all the past hurts between us?”

“I can’t say I won’t hurt you again, but I can say I am deeply sorry for the last few years. I never meant you to be hurt. It pains me to see you holding on to that hurt like a shield against me. Let me in again, sweetness. I am your destiny and your life. I promise to make your days the most romantic time of your life, and I will do my damndest to make you happy. Sweetness. I love you, Alicia. Now and forever. Please give me another chance. I need you. Can’t you feel the love I have for you? It has never wavered, and those other woman never had what you had all along: my heart, body, and soul!”

“Bullshit Damien. You chose to sleep with other women when the itch was felt by you. I never did but then again I was and still am pissed at you for the callous disregard you just tossed me aside, taken my heart and just crushing it into little pieces. You never looked back and frankly it was like watching a movie except that it was my life you destroyed. You destroyed it, not me and frankly why should I even bother with you again? You don’t deserve me and frankly, though you plead a good case here, you are coming perilously close to getting socked in the jaw.” Alicia said as she walked over to her desk, leaned against it and watched Damien digest that she was not going to forgive him right away and on his time table. It was enough to get her madder that he expected her to fall into his arms with forgiveness for everything that has happened. What does he expect from her, that she would just say I forgive you, take me, I am yours. “Last time I checked hell hasn’t frozen over yet buddy. If you are looking for forgiveness then you need to see a priest because right now I am close to dumping your ass out the window.”

“Please, Alicia, give me, us, a chance to love again. We need each other. We are meant to be together. I need you like I never needed another woman. Let me show you how love is a second time around.” Damien walked over to her, touched her arms and looked down into her eyes, pleading for a chance.

God, she wanted to believe him, give him her trust, but how could she? All those women? All the hateful things he’d said; all the time he had before now to set the record straight. Hell there wasn’t even a letter, email, or a text message even from him.

  “Please…”

Alicia heard his pleading and looked up into the one face that haunted her for the past few years. She saw the way his jeans bulged in front with his craving and her own desire warred with her anger as she struggled to keep her anger in forefront. Somehow watching his beautiful eyes pleading with her had her heart softening though the anger was still there on simmer, his hands felt wonderful though she longed for more even as her mind tried to sound the warning bell.

“Kiss me, Damien. I need you.” Desire laced her voice as she gave up the struggle and decided to let her feel his lips one more time on hers.

And with those words, Alicia felt some of the heartbreak and hurt melt away as his firm full lips settled on hers, and she got lost in sensations that had her moaning with a feverish need that continued to build.

Groaning, he dragged his lips away from Alicia’s. “Are you sure, Alicia?”

Alicia felt her body shudder in need as desire raced through her veins like a fast train. No, she wasn’t one hundred percent sure, but her body’s lustful needs weren’t about to be denied. “Yes, take me, Damien. I need you.”

  “Where, sweetheart?”

“On the sofa. No one will disturb us, and we can talk later,” Alicia said as she dragged his head down for another soul scorching kiss that left them panting for more.

“Now, you are mine, Alicia.” Damien dragged her t-shirt off her body and feasted his hot gaze on the breasts he knew so long ago cupped in a lacy bra that showcased their beauty.

Damien kissed her eyes, throat, nipped her lips before plunging his tongue to duel with hers. Alicia moaned as he traced his finger from the hollow of her throat down to the one tip of her nipple. She arched off the couch with a gasp. “Please, Damien.”

Soon just teasing her with feather light touches on those magnificent breasts wasn’t enough. Damien slid his tongue around the aureole and her nipple grew beneath his ministrations. Soon a low whimper ripped from Alicia. She was ready for more, and as if he remembered each intimate inch of her he slowly licked then suckled each nipple, drawing gasps of pleasure from her.

“You are so lovely, Alicia. I can’t believe what a fool I have been.”

With nips, he slid the zipper down and traced just the seam of where her thong peeked above the rim of her jeans. Damien slid her jeans and thong off and tossed them aside. The scent of her arousal was strong and she waited for the swipe of his tongue against her intimate places with anticipation. All these years had made a difference not only in what she expected from a lover, but in Damien’s technique. How soon would he have her screaming in ecstasy and writing in pleasure?

  Chapter Five

Alicia couldn’t help the watonness Damien brought out of her. He played her body like a master violinist. It was maddening and oh so arousing. Wetness pooled in her core and slide down her legs. She yearned to feel him deep inside her, to feel the thrust of his hard cock bringing her to that special place that only Damien could take her. Gasping, cool air hit Alicia’s heated flesh, and she waited for Damien’s next move. Feeling his hands on her body was like water to a dying man. He traced, kissed, and nipped his way to the center that wept for his touch.

Bypassing her pussy, she withered as the need inside her grew higher and higher with each touch from him. “Please, Damien, I need something, anything,” Alicia pleaded. Her body felt like it was on fire, and Damien did nothing to quench its thirst.

“In a minute, my dear. I am not wasting any more time on a fast, hurried affair.” Damien looked up at her, a lascivious grin on his face..

Then before Alicia could form a coherent response, she felt the feather touch of his tongue against her slit. It brought a scream to her lips. It was exquisite torture, and she wanted more. Her hips arching, she begged with her body for more. Damien latched on her hips with his hands and slid his tongue up and around her clit, flicking back and forth, driving her higher on lust’s train. Then before she could manage another gasp, he latched on the tiny bud and suckled hard. Stars exploded behind her eyes as she screamed with a sudden orgasm. Her hands tore into his shoulders, her nails leaving marks as she bucked and whimpered at the onslaught.

“Please, Damien, I need you…inside me. Please.”

Damien ripped his jeans off and cursed when the zipper snagged on his underwear. Then before Alicia’s eyes he was gloriously nude, his cock jutting out forcefully, and a drop of pre-cum waiting for her. It was longer than she remembered, and thick, and so damn beautiful with those balls behind it. She ached to feel it inside her, to hear his balls slapping against her. Before she could look her fill, he slid up her body, and then his cock sought her ready entrance. It made her whimper in need as she felt him ease the tip inside, an
d she arched her hips to get more of him.

“Not yet, my sweet.” Damien huskily laughed. Holding her face in his hands, he smothered her lips with soul stirring kisses that left her gasping for air and wanting more. “Tell me you want me, Alicia. Heart, body, and soul. I am yours, and you are mine.” He teased her by inching his cock into her, stretching her and filling her oh so slowly.

Alicia could barely focus and coherent thought was impossible. There was more they needed to talk about, but the sensations he elicited from her body overrode everything but the desire he inflamed. As she tried to push aside the passion, she saw the naked need in his green eyes. Her heart tumbled in the love shining free there, and hope poured into her own heart.

“Yes, Damien, I am yours. Now, fuck me, dammit. I need you inside me!”

Damien needed no other encouragement and thrust hard and fast. She squeezed his entire length, and was rewarded with a groan from the power of it. It felt so damn good have him again. With a growl, he moved slow and steady, drawing gasps of pleasure from her, driving her nuts.

His cock stretched her even more, and she marveled that she could even handle his entire length. It felt so right having him there. The oncoming orgasm built higher and higher. It was not enough as she moaned, gasped at the sensations he brought from her body. Long scratches soon were all over Damien as Alicia lost herself in the meeting of his thrusts, encouraging him to bring her to completion. Wrapping her legs around his waist, she brought him even deeper. Before she knew it, her orgasm ripped through her, waves of pleasure reaching between them both. Her pussy squeezed his cock, and then he bellowed her name, as another orgasm slammed into her with the furious speed of a runaway train.

Shaking, sweat glistening on their bodies, Damien locked Alicia in a hug. “I promise. I won’t ever let you go.”

Her breath returned to normal, and Damien wiped away the tears that came unbidden from her eyes. “Everything okay, sweetness? Did I not please you?”

Alicia looked at the man who brought her exquisite pleasure and knew she had to tell him of their child and hope he could forgive her for not telling him.

“I’m fine, Damien. I also have a secret to tell you. Hear me out before you make any judgments.”

“Okay, my love. What is this secret you have to tell?”

“Do you remember that night you told me that you didn’t love me anymore?”

“How could I forget? It is etched in my brain forever as the one dumbest things I ever did, and I hurt each time I remember the pain in your voice and eyes when I told you,” Damien said as he cuddled Alicia closer to him..

“What I wasn’t able to tell you was that I was pregnant, Damien, with our child. She would have been three this month—”

  “Would have been?”

It was Alicia’s turn to wince. She forced herself to go on, to relive the momentary joy, the unending sorrow. “I named her Danielle. She came too early. Her lungs were not developed and her heart was enlarged. She lived less than three hours after her birth.”

  “Dear God,” he moaned.

“I am sorry I didn’t tell you, but you left me before I could say anything and I had no way of knowing where you were or what you would do. You made it very clear that you didn’t love me anymore. I was hurting so badly that I let my pride carry me through it all.”

Damien looked at Alicia with despair and naked loss on his face. “We had a daughter? Why didn’t you let me know? Rod never said a word and neither did my mom for that matter.”

Alicia tried to still the quivering of her chin as memories of Danielle’s birth and death came to the surface. “I made sure your family never found out. I went away for a while; the story was that I was at college learning to run a business. I had Danielle, away from home and all the people I loved, the people who could support me.”

Tears flowed freely and Alicia sniffed. ”She had the most marvelous blue-green eyes, Damien, and your hair as well. She just wasn’t meant to be here...so said our pastor. He said God needed his angel back. I loved her so fiercely.”

The tears came faster. “I had no one to lean on except Jenna. You were gone from me, and then when I learned then I couldn’t have anymore children after Danielle’s birth,” she shuddered, her voice a mere whisper of the remembered pain. “It just broke me in two.”

“You could have called for me, Alicia. I would have come, grandfather’s edict or not.”

“And how was I to get hold of you, Damien? You threw me from your life like a piece of fast food trash.” The years hadn’t been enough time to get over Damien’s desertion and the death of Danielle. Maybe a lifetime wouldn’t be long enough.

“You were my life, and I lost precious time with you as you ripened with our child, and then I wasn’t there to comfort you when you lost her as well. For that I can never forgive myself or my grandfather.”

“I can take you to her grave tomorrow if you want. Show you the picture I have of her right after the birth,” Alicia said as tears streaked down her face faster than she could wipe them away. “I never meant for you to know. I figured you would never show up again here in Devon Falls or that I would have to tell you. She was so beautiful...yet it hurt knowing that you were not there to share in the joy of her birth or the pain of losing her so soon afterward. ”

Damien smoothed his hand down her face, wiping the tears that still flowed. “Ahhh, my love, I will love you for all eternity. No matter what the past held, it is in the past. Never forget that I love you, and I plan to spend all your days and especially the nights, showing you how much.” He kissed each tear as it slid a lonely path down her cheeks.

Alicia sighed as she kissed Damien back. Love was indeed sweeter the second time around. As she lost herself in his arms, she marveled at life’s twists and turns and saw the life she envisioned before with Damien finally coming together though she knew they had much to work out, namely the pain of the past to overcome and her family’s protectiveness as well.

“Damien,” Alicia said before she lost herself completely in his passion. “Can you change for me, so I can see the dragon sometime?”

“Sure, my love, but remember, don’t tell anyone else, and not even your sister. This will be the secret we both keep. Now, my dear, can we proceed in making more memories?”

  He playfully growled.

They still had much to overcome. The hurt of the past years wouldn’t vanish easily and they needed time to rebuild trust and strengthen their bond. The tenuous root of love, though damaged, survived. With nurturing, perhaps they could find a way to surmount the past and continue forward on the path of love and forgiveness. But, for now, Alicia was willing to lose herself in passion’s delights once more and take one day at a time with the one and only man she’d ever loved.
