He loved when she got scientifically philosophical like this. “What does that mean to you?” He asked, because he loved to hear her talk about it, but he knew the answer. It was the mulberry leaf all over again, this time the size of the Atlantic Ocean.
She turned and smiled at him, and brushed her hand over Frank’s dark hair. “There is an order to everything, even to chaos. Even if we can’t see the whole with our small eyes, there is an order, a reason. Everything makes sense.”
Where he saw God’s plan, she saw Nature’s order. Two ways to see the same thing: Faith.
Trey hooked his arm around her shoulders and pulled her close. “We make sense, babe.”
Lara kissed his cheek and then bent and kissed Frank’s head. “Meant to be.”
