1987: How Do I Get You Alone (Love in the 80s) Page 9

by Cameo Renae

I pull her close, craving the feeling of her perfect body pressed tightly against mine. “When are you leaving?”

“In a half hour,” she says. “It’ll give me enough time to get there and unpack all my things before the sun sets.”

“You have help now, so we have some time to waste,” I say, feathering my fingers along the soft skin of her neck.

Her warm eyes are swirling with desire, and pink blushes her cheeks.

“Maybe I should pay the help up front before we leave,” she exhales, a sweet grin pulls on her perfect lips. I see fire dancing behind her innocent eyes, and it’s turning me on.

“If that’s how you want to do business.”

She tiptoes and whispers in my ear. “Only with you.”

In a flash, I’m in his arms, and he’s carrying me inside.

“That one,” I say pointing to the door which leads to my bedroom.

The room is empty, except for my bed, sitting lonely in the middle. But it won’t be lonely for long.

With the door closed behind us, I’m desperate to feel his skin against mine. Grabbing the hem of his shirt, I pull it over his head, and toss it to the ground. Pressing my palms against his bare chest, I feel him tense under my touch. I run my fingers over his chiseled frame, but he stops me, taking both of my hands in his.

“Lyssa,” he says, his voice soft and tender. “Are you sure you want this?”

I look into his eyes, filled with uncertainty, and my heart swells. I love how he cares so much about my feelings, even before his own.

“I’ve wanted this for as long as I can remember,” I breathe. “I’ve always wanted you, Travis. It’s always been you.”

There is a moment shared between us, so tender and delicate, a connecting of two hearts. His eyes are swimming with a mixture of love and longing.

  The calm before the storm.

Gently, his hand cups my neck, pulling me closer. His mouth angles, capturing mine. In the next moment, I’m being whisked away and placed on the bed. My heart races wildly as he pulls my shirt over my head and unlatches my bra with surprising ease, discarding them both to the floor.

Without speaking, his mouth is against mine, this time with hunger and earnestness. Our tongues dance, sliding together in perfect unison. I wrap my arms tightly around his neck and hold on as his kiss transports me to a place far, far away.

When he pulls away, I’m left breathless. My world is spinning as Travis moves down my body, peppering hot kisses along my neck, collarbone, and chest. Teasing my breasts between his fingers and tongue, the heated desire in my core quickly grows into a raging need.

  “Travis,” I breathe.

“Tell me what you want, Lyssa,” he murmurs, his eyes flickering with passion.

“You,” I exhale. “I want all of you.”

He sits up, his hands sliding down my waist. He unbuttons my shorts and with one swift tug, he slides the rest of my clothing off. I’m naked, pressed under his weighted stare.

I reach down, unbuttoning his jeans before he stands off to the side of the bed and slides them off.

Oh God. He’s beautiful. Every single part of him.

I have traveled all the way down that V road and have reached the final destination. The view is breathtaking, magnificent and erect.

Travis moves between my legs, each motion calculated, slow and thoughtful.

He presses his naked body against mine, and holy hell he feels so good. I can feel his length throbbing between my legs.

His mouth finds mine again, desperate and addicting. Our breaths are ragged, our hearts beating in unison, preparing for what is to come.

He glides back down and hovers over my center. I feel his warm breath on my sensitive skin as he teases my entrance with his fingers. He bends down and delves his tongue inside of me, working his way up, and sucking my bud into his mouth.

“Looks like you’re ready for me,” he says seductively.

Oh, I’m ready for him. So wet and ready.

He leans over the side of the bed and picks up his jeans, pulling a condom from his pocket. I watch, in awe, as he sheathes himself.

He slowly climbs back up my body. “Do you want me?”

“Yes,” I breathe, arching into him. I want him so bad it hurts.

The burning ache is intensified as he eases his fingers back into me. I reach down and grab his length, pumping him in rhythm. His eyes roll back as he groans and pushes into my hand.

“I want to make you mine, Lyssa. Do you want me?”

I’m desperate for him. “I want you, Travis. God, I want you.”

His lips crash against mine, and I inhale sharply as he aligns himself at my opening. I’m fragile in his arms, under his complete control.

We stare into each other’s eyes as he slowly pushes himself inside, filling me, claiming me. Oh God.

He pauses, his eyes carefully scanning my face. “Are you okay?”

“Yes,” I breathe. The pleasure is much greater than any pain.

He dips down, pressing his cheek against mine, and softly whispers, “You’re mine.”

  His words fill my soul.

“I’m yours,” I exhale. He owns every part of me.

He begins to move, slowly at first, and the feeling of him inside of me is carrying me toward the edge of insanity. My hands grip his shoulders, slowly clawing down the tensed muscles in his back, landing on his delicious ass.

I hold on, feeling him tightening and releasing with each thrust. He pounds into me harder and faster. I begin to match his rhythmic thrusts until the pressure inside builds. Desperate, I can’t hold on any longer.

“Come for me, Lyssa,” he breathes.

My world bursts as he thrusts me into a shattering climax. He’s right there with me. Groaning loudly, he spasms, whispering my name amidst curses. Relief pulses through our bodies. I’m lost. Lost in the moment. Lost in him.

When it’s over, he rolls over and snuggles up to my side, draping an arm over my stomach. Heavily sated and spent, I slowly drift back to reality. There is a stillness surrounding us. Everything about this moment is perfect. So completely perfect.

“You hold my heart, Lyssa. All of it. Every broken piece.”

“And you’ve always had mine,” I whisper.

He brushes the stray hair from my cheek and gazes deep into my eyes. “You’re good for me. Every second I’m with you, I feel my heart mending.”

“You’ve done the same for me. I wouldn’t have handled my dad’s death as well as I did without you. Thank you for being there for me.”

“I know we’re both broken right now, but at least we can be broken together.”

I roll into him, my head resting on his chest. His arms fold around me, the steady sound of his heartbeat is so relaxing.

“So, what now?” I ask, raising my brow. “Are we a thing?”

“A thing?” He laughs loudly. “If you want to be my girlfriend, it would, like, totally be awesome,” he says, imitating Stacey.

  “Totally,” I reply, giggling.

“Tubular. You like, totally rock my world, Lyssa.”

“Stop!” I say, laughing. His facial expressions are hilarious.

“I thought you liked my accents.”

“I do. Just not that one.”

He reaches down and pats my butt. “Okay, we better get dressed and get you to college.”

“Yeah,” I sigh, thinking of all the long days ahead without him. “I wish I could take you with me.”

He rolls off the bed and slips on his jeans. “I guess this is the part where I should tell you I’ve sent in a request to be reinstated, and work toward my degree.”

“What?” I squeal. “Are you serious?”

“I am,” he says, turning and offering me a wink and a sexy grin. “You could have a new roommate come next semester.”

“Oh my God!” I jump off the bed, back into his arms. “You’ve made me the happiest girl in the world,” I say breathlessly, kissing him.
>
He smiles, and it makes me melt. “You don’t know how amazing you are, Lyssa Taylor. I could be poor and spend the rest of my life loving you, and would still die the richest man in the world.” His words bring tears to my eyes.

He steadies my head gently in the palms of his hands, aligning our eyes.

“I love you,” he breathes, his words sincere.

“And, I love you.” They are the truest words I’ve ever spoken.

He smiles and seals our words with a long, sensual kiss. “Are you ready to begin the next chapter of our lives together?”

  “I’ve never been more ready.”

I look into his eyes and see it all. A future filled with friendship, appreciation, devotion, and love. Travis strengthens and comforts me. In my heart, I feel as if I’ve finally found that special someone. That one person who was created just for me. Yes, we’ve had our share of loss and feelings of isolation and being alone. But neither one of us will be alone anymore. And even if it seems that way, at least we’ll be alone together.

My name is Tina. I’m a freshman at USC, a good student and friend…

  And I’m a victim.

Hot guys make my brain turn to mush. So, the fact that I was arrested then survived a massive earthquake only to be shackled to the fox next to me can all be overlooked, right?

Okay, so I was arrested before I met Luke. A tremor that caused a blackout at the LAPD precinct where we were being held. Although technically, I wasn’t shackled to him, I was handcuffed, but still. Any and all lapses in my usual—totally sane, I might add—judgments, are his fault. Totally.

I wouldn’t typically do the things I did. I’m no outlaw. I’m a college student.
