  I looked at him and stared, “What do you mean?”

  “I own several houses, you’re going to have a different view from time to time. Mountains, golf courses, marinas, is that all right?”

  “Yeah, not too crazy about any with snow in them though.”

  He laughed and leaned over to kiss my neck. “Do you always wear earrings? I don’t think I’ve ever seen you without.”

  “I usually wear something.” I thought about my damn granny lobes and hoped he didn’t notice.

  He started fiddling with the French clip until he was able to slide it out.

  “I like to nibble on a woman’s ear lobes. I hear it does amazing things.”

  “Mmmm. You heard right.”

  “Your lobes are delightful. Did you know that they have little starlets in the center?” He removed the other earring using just his lips and teeth. Then he sat back and looked at it. “They both do—adorable little starlets. From now on this is going to be my favorite place to start ravishing you.”
