Keva headed back out to the moving van for another box. Sebastian smacked her on the butt as she passed him. “Pick up something heavy this time,” Kevin called out.

She stuck her tongue out at him. “I’ve got a method,” she replied. To be contrary, she was tempted to grab the box of blankets, but the plan was to unpack room by room. So she grabbed the last of the kitchen boxes and headed up the drive.

Unloading the van went faster than she’d anticipated and soon it was just her and Sebastian sprawled out on the couch. He held her hand in his lap. They rested as the sun moved closer to the horizon. All was quiet and peaceful in the house. She was enjoying the moment of simply being in her new home with her husband. “Which room should we unpack first?” he asked after a bit. In response she snuggled into his side, pressing her face into his neck. Nuzzling away his hair, she kissed his throat, her tongue darting out to taste his skin. He groaned then laughed. “Bedroom, huh?” She smiled before covering his mouth with hers. Her fingers slid into his hair and didn’t come up for air until she heard a clang come from the direction of the kitchen.

“What…?” Drawing back, she spotted pots, pans and glasses flying around before they conveniently found a cupboard. Sebastian’s irises were dark blue shot through with a sunburst of silver in the center. She arched an eyebrow. He shrugged even as a naughty grin curled his sexy lips. She laughed. Unpacking was going to be a breeze.
