Terin: High King Haden's second son, Terin was his diplomat and emissary. He went to talk to Moral and convince him to give up his war with the Armen at the Lonely Isle. Moral, feeling betrayed, struck his brother and killed him. Terin's wife and son, Tanis, fled, afraid that Moral would kill them.
Theodore: The Baron of Nine Peaks, Lord Theodore is known for being a good military commander and is well liked by his people. He was the first nobleman to openly give his support for Lady Katarina. He is secretly a high ranking member of the Luciel Order. He is the father of Lord Jack and Lady Eustasia.
Tiara: Hector's first wife, Tiara was Armen-born, the daughter of the Warlord Djaan Kenobus. She had two sisters, Virana and Ishar. With Hector she had a son, Cyryl. She was killed under mysterious circumstances that left Cyryl and Hector badly injured as well.
Tirianis: A Princess of the People of the Eastwood, Tirianis is a skilled empath and is a talented healer. Tirianis is well respected by her people, though she harbors some personal doubts about her own capabilities. She is a close friend of Amelia Tarken. Her father was Marastar Firstborn and Simonel Greeneye is her brother.
Trynosky: Private Trynosky is a commoner who signed on with Lady Katarina's forces. He serves in First Squad, First Section, Third Company.
VanEggar: Lord VanEggar is the Lord Chamberlain for the Grand Duchy of Boir. This gives him overall control of the Citidel, with direct oversight of the Citidel Prefects, serving staff, and day-to-day maintenance.
Veruna Nasrat: Daughter of Zabilla Nasrat, she is a native of the Lonely Isle. She is a skilled witch and utilizes her skills with spirit magic to counter the efforts of the Armen shamans. Like her father, she is loyal to Hector. Also, like her father, she is a secret member of the Luciel Order.
Walker: Walker is a young nobleman from the northern region of the Duchy of Masov. He is friends with Aerion Swordbreaker and Quinn Makelsen. Walker has a flippant attitude and seems to view his presence with Lady Katarina's forces as an adventure. When questioned about his past he tends to become angry and brooding.
Xavien Tarken: Xavien Tarken is the youngest child of Lord Admiral Christoffer Tarken. He is a skilled wizard and sorcerer. He was executed on the orders of Grand Duke Becket for practicing sorcery, although he has somehow survived the experience. He orchestrated the murder of Grand Duke Becket and his entire family, the capture and tormented death of his older brother, Gustav, and rape and torture of his older sister, Amelia. His goals seem to be to either conquer or destroy the Five Duchies. Grel the Hound, Covle Darkbit, and Tarjack Rusk all work for him.
Zabilla Nasrat: Zabilla is a Commander of Infantry in Lord Hector's Army of the North. He commands the local battalion on the Lonely Isle. Hector trusts him implicitly and has assigned him to many dangerous and difficult missions. Zabilla's wife was a powerful priestess for her people, but she was betrayed by mercenaries set to guard her by Duke Peter and subsequently captured and tortured to death by the Armen. Zabilla's daughter is Veruna. Zabilla is a secret member of the Luciel Order and the leader of their chapter on the Lonely Isle.

Kal Spriggs is a science fiction and fantasy author. He currently has four series in print: The Renegades space opera and space exploration series, the Shadow Space Chronicles military science fiction and space opera series, the Fenris space opera series, and the Eoriel Saga epic fantasy series.
Kal is a US Army combat veteran who has been deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan. He lives in Colorado, and is married to his wonderful wife (who deserves mention for her patience with his writing) and also shares his home with his infant son, two feline overlords, and a rather put-upon dog. He likes hiking, skiing, and enjoying the outdoors, when he's not hunched over a keyboard writing his next novel.
