  Son Slays Three On

  Family Picnic In

  Woods

  By Jayne Watkins

Angel Woods…no longer sunny or angelic

At the sunny location of Coedwig-Yr-Angel (Angel Woods) in Carmarthenshire last summer, eighteen-year-old Philip Stevenson butchered his whole family: father, mother and sister, in a brutal and bloody fashion, before being arrested at the scene of the crime by local police.

The cracked teenager, who was found guilty of the three murders in Cardiff Crown Court, is now serving time at the infamous criminally insane asylum called Castell Hirwaun in South Wales. The family of four were at the woods for a celebratory birthday picnic for their daughter, Natalie, who turned fourteen on the tragic day.

Police reported that Mr Stevenson killed his mother Sally, first, stabbing her in the throat with a hay-hook – a farming implement for collecting hay.

He then proceeded to slay his father, James, with a sickle – another farming tool for cutting corn or trimming weeds and hedges. Phillip used the chopping tool to sever three of his father’s fingers before violently plunging it into his throat. Both Sally and James died instantly from their injuries.

Philip left his younger sister, Natalie, until last. After giving chase to his obviously distressed sibling, who it appears witnessed her parents’ deaths, Phillip viciously tore her throat apart with a sharp instrument.

Oddly, police have been unable to locate all the weapons used by Philip Stevenson during the slaughter, although he was arrested at the scene it is believed that he had time to dispose of them before discovery.

Police were also left baffled at the sheer evilness of the crime carried out by the youth on his family. Other family member and friends were reported to have said at the time what a close family they were and how Philip’s actions were completely uncharacteristic for him.

  Whacko Woodsman Jailed for Slayings

  By Gregory Lucas

Local woodsman, 34 year old Norm Jenkins, was imprisoned today for the murder of three women. Alarm bells were raised when Stephanie Davies, a nurse working at the Royal Glamorgan Hospital, disappeared six months ago. A witness was said to have last seen her in Mr. Jenkins’ company.

When the police searched Mr. Jenkins’ house, at Llwynypia, in the Rhondda, the scenes that they found there were described by the Chief-Constable Mark Pritchard, who was in charge of the case, as that of a “ghoulish nature”, he also went on to say that “Miss Davies’ remains were found in Mr. Jenkins’ fridge-freezer, along with other body parts.”

Police report evidence showed that Mr. Jenkins had taken Miss. Davies, aged 26, back to his home after an arranged date at the Ivor Hael pub in Llwynypia, where he later tied her to a bed, and brutally attacked her with a wood chopping axe.

Mr. Jenkins then proceeded to dismember Miss. Davies’ body, firstly cutting off both her legs, in a grizzly, and inhuman display of butchery, before finally cutting her arms and head off, and placing Miss. Davies’ trunk, arms and head in his freezer.

Other remains found were identified as those of a Miss. Sian Edwards, 22, of Ystrad, Rhondda, and a Miss. Lisa Higgs, 28, of Cwmparc, Rhondda, both of whom had to be identified using medical and dental records due to the lack of evidence, as both appeared to have suffered the same fate as Miss Davies. All three women went missing in as many months of each other.

When police questioned Mr. Jenkins, about why he committed these vicious and heinous killings, he casually replied “I was trying to rebuild my beloved Angharad”, who on investigation it was discovered was Norm’s wife who died in a tragic rock climbing incident. Due to the suspicious circumstances police looked into Angharad’s death also which was determined as accidental.

The body of Angharad Jenkins was also found at Mr. Jenkins’ property. It later became clear that he had stolen his wife’s badly damaged body from the cemetery, to try and “rebuild” her from living women that Norm met and took back to his home.

Mr. Jenkins was sentenced yesterday at Cardiff Crown Court. He has been deemed a danger to himself and others, and was committed to Castell Hirwaun – a notorious asylum for the criminally insane – where he will remain, and will never be released.

  PATIENT ASSESSMENT FORM

  NAME: Miss. Samantha Saunders.

  DOB: 28/05/83

  HOSPITAL NUMBER: 993366

SUMMARY OF PATIENTS MEDICAL HISTORY: Sam’s medical history shows that she has had serious mental disorders right from an early age, which has gradually worsen since being first admitted to Rosemary’s Hospital for the young, that are involved in acts of violence, and other tragic events. She was committed to Castell Hirwaun ten years ago, when the nurses and doctors found they could do nothing with her at Rosemary’s, at the age of seventeen.

CLINICAL EXAMINATION FINDINGS/SYMPTOMS: After carrying out a clinical examination, these findings were found: loss of contact with reality, hallucinations, delusions, personality changes , paranoid, distinction between brain and mind is artificial, stress, lack of social skills, lack of social interest, secretive, cold, internal fantasy world, no emotion, doesn’t enjoy close relationships including family, depressed. These findings lead me to think that Miss. Saunders may have Psychosis, with a Schizoid Personality Disorder.

TEST RESULTS: Our tests show that Miss. Saunders is unruly, and uncooperative in our attempts at treating her, and she shows little sign of making a recovery. She refuses to eat, and attacks male and female nurses at will, leading us to have to restrain her to her room most of the time.

DIAGNOSIS: Miss. Saunders killed her parents, and a whole host of others, when she burned down a local chapel one Sunday afternoon. She pleaded with the authorities that it was not her, but her older sister.

MANAGEMENT PLAN: Electron-convulsive Treatment (ECT) – shock treatment. Cognitive Behaviour Therapy. Psychiatrist, Psychotherapy, Psychotherapeutic Treatment to understand who and what humans are.

MEDICATION: Amphetamines, anticonvulsants – Vigabatrin, Ketamine, Corticosteroids, Resperidone, Olanzapine, Wellbutrin

  PATIENT ASSESSMENT FORM

  NAME: Unknown(AKA, Santa Klaws.)

  DOB: Unknown

  HOSPITAL NUMBER: 852360

SUMMARY OF PATIENTS MEDICAL HISTORY: Very little is known about the patient that refers to himself as ‘Santa Klaws’. No records were found on this individual when he was brought her in the winter of ’77. Also, it would seem no family members live close by, or that he has none, as nobody has inquired or come to visit him. It is clear that he has a Multiple Personality Disorder, but other than that, little is know about this mysterious man, who’s around middle age. All he ever does is recite “T’was a Night Before Christmas”, in his imaginary Christmas land.

CLINICAL EXAMINATION FINDINGS/SYMPTOMS: When a clinical examination was carried out on ‘Mr. Klaws’, these were the symptoms found: lack of social skills, lack of social interest, solitary lifestyle, secretive, cold, internal fantasy world, no emotion, doesn’t enjoy close relationships including family, depressed, more common in males, multiple mannerisms, headaches, depression, anger for no reason, another identity becomes a coping mechanism. Like Mr. Rafferty, ‘Mr. Klaws’ has a ‘character’ as his hidden identity. But, unlike Mr. Rafferty, the ‘character of “Klaws” has fully taken over, and ha
s left him extremely dangerous to treat.

TEST RESULTS: ‘Mr. Klaws’ is very unreceptive to his treatment, and has maimed several hospital staff, including a young nurse, who he tore the ears off in an unprovoked attack. It took several guards to restrain the large male, resulting in more injuries. ‘Mr. Klaws’ remains mostly in solitude, and will never be released.

DIAGNOSIS: ‘Mr. Klaws’ was apprehended at the scene of a grisly crime committed by himself, and was deemed by a court of law to having a mental disorder, leading him to being brought here. Again, it is unclear as to why he is the way he is, as ‘Mr. Klaws’ refuses to open up to anyone. With continuing, and gruelling treatment, it is hoped that the real persona will appear one day, and that the patient can be helped.

MANAGEMENT PLAN: Psychotherapy, Psychiatrist, Psychotherapeutic Treatment to understand who and what humans are, Behaviour Therapy – including only speaking to one personality at a time to reinforce the desired and eliminate the undesired.

Note: The management plan for this patient is under evaluation, considering the patient almost killed his Therapist during a recent session, by plunging a pair of scissors into her throat, and savagely biting a chunk out of one of her cheeks. Note add on the 08/12/86.

MEDICATION: Resperidone, Olanzapine, Wellbutrin, Anti-depressant – Prozac. Mood stabilisers – Lithium, Lamotgine. Olanzopine, Clozapine, Quetiapine, Resperidone

  PATIENT ASSESSMENT FORM

  NAME: David Owain Hughes

  DOB: 07/06/81

  HOSPITAL NUMBER:978542

SUMMARY OF PATIENTS MEDICAL HISTORY: Although not recorded on any of Mr. Hughes older medical notes, he has confided in us that he has always had a problem with sex, since starting to masturbate at the very early, and hard to believe age, of 10. He self-committed early last year after an act of a sexual nature went awry, ending up with him throttling his intimate mate with a pair of stockings, almost resulting in the death of the female by strangulation.

CLINICAL EXAMINATION FINDINGS/SYMPTOMS: Clinical examination of his found these symptoms: intense sex drive, obsession with sex, sex dominates thinking, risk taking in various forms of sexual activity despite dangers, pornography, prostitutes, voyeurism, harassment. He has been diagnosed with Progressive Intimacy Disorder (Sex Addiction.)

TEST RESULTS: Our test results show that Mr. Hughes is trying with his treatment, but his sexual needs and urgency on times get in the way. All female nurses and therapist have now been removed from Mr. Hughes care, after a nurse, Nicola Wrigley, reported being ‘touched’ by the patient. When Mr. Hughes was asked about the incident, he admitted to the act, saying that “he loves stockings.”

DIAGNOSIS: After speaking with Mr. Hughes on numerous occasions, I’m led to believe that his ‘addiction’ has stemmed from being exposed to acts of sexual violence on film and TV, from a very young age.

MANAGEMENT PLAN: Support Group, 12 Step Recovery Programme, Counselling, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy.

Note: The support group and counselling finally seem to be working, as the patient’s agonizing screams for his ‘Mistress’ at nights have been quashed. Note add on the 13/01/11

  NAME: Norm Nathanial Jenkins

  DOB: 01/06/80

  HOSPITAL NUMBER: 857456

SUMMARY OF PATIENTS MEDICAL HISTORY: Before the death of his wife, Mr. Jenkins health, and medical history was good. However, after his wife’s tragic death, it is noted that Mr. Jenkins underwent minor treatment for depression.

CLINICAL EXAMINATION FINDINGS/SYMPTOMS: After being admitted to Castell Hirwaun, following a serious of vicious killings carried out by Norm in 2010, a clinical examination was then carried out on him, and this is what was found: depression, mood disorders, psychotic symptoms, lack of social skills, lack of social interest, solitary lifestyle, secretive, cold, internal fantasy world, no emotion, doesn’t enjoy close relationships including family, depressed, more common in males. These findings lead us to believe Mr. Jenkins is suffering with a Bipolar and Schizoid Personality Disorder.

TEST RESULTS: Results show that Norm is very positive to his treatments, and could possibly make a full recovery. However, if released, he could end up reverting back to his former self, and carry out further acts of violence.

DIAGNOSIS: Mr. Jenkins witnessed his wife’s death whilst mountain climbing, and fell into a state of depression, leading to a solitary lifestyle, which in return disturbed his mind, bringing on a second personality within him of his deceased wife, after he stole her body from the morgue. He believes that she controlled him, and still does, and ordered him to kill in her name, so that he could ‘rebuild’ her damaged body.

MANAGEMENT PLAN: Psychotherapy, Psychoanalysis – Psychoanalytic Practise. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Psychiatrist, Psychotherapeutic Treatment to understand who and what humans are.

MEDICATION: Mood stabilizers – Lithium Carbonate, Lamotrigine. Anticonvulsant – Carbamazepine, Resperidone, Olanzapine, Wellbutrin

  PATIENT ASSESSMENT FORM

  NAME: Mr. Philip Stevenson

  DOB: 11/04/61

  HOSPITAL NUMBER: 220102

SUMMARY OF PATIENTS MEDICAL HISTORY: Mr. Stevenson’s was admitted to Castell Hirwaun in the summer of ’79, at the age of 18. His medical history shows no signs of mental illness, or an underlying disorder. His killing spree out of the blue, as it would seem, was rather interesting.

CLINICAL EXAMINATION FINDINGS/SYMPTOMS: On medically examining Mr. Stevenson, results showed that he is suffering from Cormorbid – more than one mental illness. These were the finding: clinical depression, manic episodes, hallucinations involving all senses (see, hear, smell, feel or taste something not there), believe other forces are controlling them, delusions, mental disorder, paranoia, delusions, lack of motivation, typically young adulthood, major depression, anxiety disorder, substance misuse, hearing voices. The findings lead us to believe he is suffering with Schizophrenia and Schizoaffective Disorder.

TEST RESULTS: Our test results show that Mr. Stevenson has now totally lost touch with reality, and will not talk, or interact with anyone. Response to treatment is also lacking, causing hospital staff to take measured actions when dealing with Mr. Stevenson. He’s made several attempts on his life, and hospital staff. He now spends most of his time locked in solitary confinement.

DIAGNOSIS: The murder of his family would seem to have brought on the clinical depression and manic episodes, since his early admittance to Castell Hirwaun, leading to hallucinations. Mr. Stevenson was, and still is, convinced that someone else had been present in the woods that fateful day, and was responsible for the slaughter of his family. He’s refused to let go of this notion, leading him to ‘seeing’ this other man here at the hospital every so often, which has fully brought on Schizoaffective Disorder, and a violent streak him, that has positively been him from a very early age, suggests Schizophrenia

MANAGEMENT PLAN: Psychotherapy, one to one Psychiatrist, Observation and Psychoanalysis,

MEDICATION: Manic Depression – Lithium, Depakote, Tegretol. Depression – (anti-depressants) – Proz
ac, Zoloft, Lomictal. Hypnotic medication – (Benzodiazepines) – Ativan, Klonopin (may result in dependency), sleeping pills. Antipsychotic medication – Clozapine, Quetiapine, Risperidone

NAME: Mr. Carl Rafferty (AKA, Mr. Tickles.)

  DOB: 21/09/71

  HOSPITAL NUMBER: 666031

SUMMARY OF PATIENTS MEDICAL HISTORY: Before the killing of his mother, Mr. Rafferty’s medical history is clean. Earlier records show that he was a healthy young boy, with no mental or serious medical issues.

CLINICAL EXAMINATION FINDINGS/SYMPTOMS: Mr. Rafferty has been diagnosed with a Multiple Personality Disorder, with tell-tale signs of Psychosis. After a clinical examination was carried out on him, these are the findings of the examination, leading us to the diagnosis of both MPD and Psychosis: loss of contact with reality, personality changes, seeing and interacting with people/animals, hearing voices, paranoid, distinction between brain and mind is artificial, stress, multiple mannerisms, headaches, depression, panic attacks, phobias, anger for no reason, stress, childhood trauma, another identity becomes a coping mechanism.
