My body still ached with need, but I had hesitated. Jameson looked at me knowingly. "You need to go to him?" He asked. When I looked at the floor instead of giving him an answer he reached out to gently touch my chin, pulling my eyes back to his. "I saw you with him today Holly."
My brows raised in surprise. "Jameson, I..." He put a rough finger to my lips to silence me.
"Holly, it's ok. I went to the barn to check in on you, see how your first day was going. I couldn't wait to see you after last night. When I got there, I saw you in his arms." He paused and took a deep breath. "I'll admit, I was kind of upset at first. I left you there and went on a long walk. The further I walked though, the more I started to think about it. We hadn't said what this was between us yet, and what I saw between you and Spence, that was just as real as what I feel between you and me. I don't know if you know this yet, but Spencer is my best friend. Has been since the fourth grade. And if I have to share you with anyone, well, he's a great guy, Holly. I'm sure you've already figured that out. I meant what I said before. If being with you means sharing, I can do that."
His words still rang in my frost nipped ears as I reached the barn door. I had never seen more than one man at a time before. I was faithful to a fault during my relationship with Clint, even though I was pretty sure he hadn't held himself to the same standard of faithfulness that I had.
Yet here I was, about to meet Spencer after I had just given Jameson a blowjob fifteen minutes ago. And I was supposed to spend time with Jasper tomorrow. What had I gotten myself into? This was all new to me, but Jameson had already said he was alright with it, an Jasper had pretty much said the same thing after dinner. I guess I just needed to see how Spencer was feeling. We only had a limited time together, and I desperately wanted to get to know all of them before I had to go home.
I opened the door and stepped out of the freezing wind, prepared to have an honest talk with Spencer before whatever he had planned for us began, but when I saw what was waiting for me I momentarily forgot everything I was planning on saying to him. Candles flickered all around me, casting dancing light across the stone floor and wooden walls. The wagon wheel chandelier above was dimmed, and I could hear the horses making soft noises from their stalls. The candles trailed along the floor, drawing my eyes to what looked like a sheepskin throw in the center of the massive room. the stones had been swept clean of straw around it, and a bottle of wine and two glasses sat beside the throw, a wicker basket behind them.
"Surprised?" Spencer asked, emerging from the shadows to my left. He looked almost nervous as he waited to see my reaction to his endeavors. He was still wearing his work clothes, but it looked as though he had combed his dusty blond hair. "I wish I could have done more but this was all I had time for..."
"It's absolutely stunning." I said in wonder, turning towards him.
The candle light reflected in his deep blue eyes when he looked at me, and I felt suddenly under dressed as his eyes traveled over my hoodie and yoga pants. I hadn't really known what to expect when he invited me to meet him in a barn in the middle of the night. The atmosphere was so romantic that it felt like I should be wearing an evening gown and dripping in diamonds. Spencer seemed to think I looked just fine though. "Absolutely stunning." He echoed my words back to me in much the same way that Jameson had done yesterday.
I blushed at his comment and he reached out to take my hand and lead me to the spot he had prepared for us. "This is amazing, Spence. Really amazing. I wasn't expecting anything like this."
The sheepskin felt like a cloud when I sat on it, all plush and fluffy. Spencer uncorked the wine and poured me a glass. It was a white this time, crisp, with a faintly floral aroma.
"I've only ever seen you drink the Merlot your uncle always has out, but I thought this Riesling would pair better with dessert," he told me with the air of a man who knew what he was talking about.
He sat next to me and pulled the basket closer, opening it to reveal a stunning cheesecake with what looked like raspberry swirls marbled throughout it. It was even garnished with raspberries and little mint leaves, giving the whole thing a red and green Christmas-y look. Beside the cake rested cutlery and two white plates with silver snowflakes around their borders. It looked like a scene right out of a Lifestyle magazine, picture perfect in every way.
"Spencer! I don't even know what to say! Honestly, I thought you might be inviting me out here to try for a quickie in the hay or something," I laughed.
He looked up from the basket and said with a completely straight face "I wouldn't be opposed to a quickie." There was a moment of total silence between us before we both burst out in laughter. I had to set my wine glass down I was shaking so hard.
"No, Holly, with all seriousness though," he started as we finally began to calm down, "I wanted to do something special for you. I had an amazing time with you this morning, and I don't just mean the kiss that we shared. I was really enjoying getting to know you, and I'd like to get to know you more if you're interested. We can do that with any amount of clothes on that you like." He laughed again when I playfully reached over and smacked his shoulder. I really wouldn't mind if we were a little more naked while we got to know each other.
As we sat and shared what turned out to be the best dessert I had ever had, Spencer told me all about growing up in Shadow valley. His parents owned a vineyard here, which explained what I was discovering to be his impressive knowledge of wine. In fact, the bottle we were drinking right now was from his family's private reserve.
I told him about my life in Los Angeles. The job waiting for me when I got back. He asked if I was excited about it and I didn't really have an answer. He was so easy to talk to that time slipped away, and before I knew it the candles around us had all but burned away.
"It's getting late," he said reluctantly, "and we are supposed to be up in just a few hours..." I didn't want our date to end, and I still hadn't gotten around to telling him about Jameson and me, or the possibility of something happening with Jasper. As much as I didn't want to potentially ruin the moment, Spencer had a right to know before we took this any further.
"Spence?" I said hesitantly. "I, kind of wanted to talk to you about something before I go..."
"You can talk to me about anything, Hon." He reached out and put his hand on my thigh in an encouraging gesture. Warmth flooded through me, emanating from his soft touch. I slid my fingers over his and took a deep breath.
"This, thing we have between us, Spence, I want to see where it goes. It's just, we both know I'm not going to be staying here forever. Our time is limited, and," I paused, trying to find the words, "and I don't want to waste it. But Spencer, I think you deserve to know that there is something going on between Jameson and I too." I looked up from our entwined hands and tried to gauge his reaction, my heart pounding in my chest.
Spencer didn't look upset, just thoughtful as he took in what I had just said. "And I'm supposed to go on a date with Jasper tomorrow." I added quickly, before I lost my nerve.
His gorgeous eyes widened in surprise. The silence stretched between us, the only sound the quiet shuffle of the horses in the corner. I was starting to think I had scared him off, that the thought of sharing me with the others was too much for him and he was trying to think of a polite way of telling me he was no longer interested.
Spencer finally disturbed the quiet with a chuckle. "Holly, I'm not surprised that Jameson and Jasper are just as enchanted by you as I am. They'd be crazy not to be. You're beautiful, intelligent, and sweet. Actually, it wouldn't be the first time that Jameson and I dated the same girl. I mean, we've never dated the same girl at the same time, so I guess that will be new..."
Hope suddenly burgeoned inside of me. "It'll be new? Does... does that mean you are willing to give it a shot?" I asked, my voice trembling a bit.
Spence pulled me into his arms as a reply, squeezing me tight against his broad chest. "Of course, I'm willing to give it a try. I'd do just about anything to spend more time w
ith you. You're right, we only have so much of it." His voice was soft and tender, his lips pressed against my neck. I could still smell the aroma of peppermint and hot cocoa on him.
We sat there in the dying candlelight, wrapped tightly around each other for a while, neither one of us wanting to be the first to end our embrace.
"I'd be happy to stay here like this all night with you Holly," Spence finally whispered, "Even if it means I'll be dog tired on one of the busiest days of the season."
"I don't want to leave either, but I think you owe me a tour of your place? It is just upstairs, isn't it?" I asked, a touch of naughty innuendo in my question. Spencer stiffened in my arms, and an excited vibration began to palpably thrum between our bodies.
When he led me up the rough wooden stairs and into his loft I already knew that this was going to be well worth a sleepless night.
CHAPTER SEVEN
Spencer laid me down on his bed, moonlight illuminating the cream-colored comforter through the small window above us. His brilliant ocean eyes took in my body, watched me with admiration as I slipped my hoodie over my head and tossed it aside, revealing my naked breasts beneath. He inhaled sharply, looking transfixed by the sight before him.
"You are so damn beautiful," he said, moving to lay beside me, the bed sinking beneath his added weight and causing me to roll into him. He pressed himself closer, his hands finding my waist and moving carefully across my soft porcelain skin. A pulsing warmth began to spread through my core, and I moved to kiss him.
His mouth found mine and what had started as a surprisingly passionate kiss this morning, now continued between us in the dead of night, growing, evolving from sweet and earnest to a much more heated.
"I'm not wearing any panties either," I said between kisses. He pulled back quickly, looking at me with a fiery intensity that I had never seen in him before.
"Are you messing with me, Holly? Cause I'm as hard as a rock right now, and I'm not sure if I can get any more turned on without losing my damn mind."
I giggled into his chest before composing myself and responding in the flirtiest voice I could muster. "I'm dead serious, Spencer Blake. You said we could get to know each other wearing however many clothes that I wanted us to be in. I want to get to know you with no clothes on at all." I batted my eyelashes coquettishly.
His shirt was off before I could even finish my last sentence. It was my turn to look at him in awe. His torso was a chiseled masterpiece, cut from hard work and long hours. Those skin hugging Levi's were next to go, revealing what could only be described as the total package. The perfect total package.
His cock was long and thick, and fuck I wanted it inside of me right now.
Spencer lowered himself onto me, his fingers pulling at the thin fabric of my pants and bringing them down my thighs inch by agonizing inch. My breath quickened in anticipation as he finally succeeded in removing them completely. Oh my God, have I stumbled into some sort of holiday themed heaven, and all of the angels are ridiculously sexy men who will satisfy my every sexual desire? Cause that's kind of what it feels like right now...
Spencer slowly kissed his way back up my legs, pausing when he reached my sex and gently pulling my thighs apart. His tongue slipped into my heat and my back arched in response to the burgeoning thrill of his careful and deliberate ministrations.
Oh. My. God.
If this was an Olympic sport he would be a gold medalist, no question.
I felt my orgasm building in the base of my spine, his tongue pushing me closer to the edge with every well placed motion. When he moved to gently suck the pebbled mound of my clitoris I couldn't hold back anymore. My whole body shook with the intense, powerful release. I cried out into the night, unable to contain myself any longer.
Spencer glanced up at me from between my legs with a look of pride. “I've been wanting to make you scream like that since the moment I laid my eyes on you Miss Holly.”
“It's my turn to make you scream, cowboy,” I said in my husky post orgasm voice, sitting up and pulling him forward. He seemed a little surprised as I guided him onto his back and straddled him, positioning my opening above his rock hard cock. He looked up at me with an expression of worship on his beautiful features.
“I was hoping I would get a chance to be your cowgirl,” I whispered, guiding his dick inside of me slowly until his substantial girth was completely sheathed in my core. He moaned in reply as I began to rock steadily on top of him, his hips quickly matching my pace and coaxing the beginnings of a second orgasm from my still aching flesh.
His hands found my full breasts, teasing my nipples beneath his rough fingertips. Our movements transitioned from a relaxed and easy tempo to a gradually more fevered dance, and when Spencer finally reached the pinnacle of his pleasure and spilled his seed within me my own release soon followed.
I rolled off and collapsed in an exhausted heap beside him, waves of sensation still reverberating through me, my skin sensitive and tingly. We lay there in the silver light for a while, our heavy breathing slowly returning to a normal. I was just wondering if he was expecting me to put my clothes back on and return to the main house when he slid over and wrapped his arms around me, burying his face in my neck and sighing contentedly.
"Holly?" he mumbled softly.
"Mmmm?
"You can be my cowgirl anytime."
CHAPTER EIGHT
The next day was every bit as busy uncle Mark had promised it would be. The people showed up in droves to kick off their holidays at what was undoubtedly the most magical tree farm in existence.
I had seen a lot of things being prepared yesterday, (and was thoroughly impressed already) but when I saw the whole thing in operation for opening day I was in awe. Everywhere I looked there was a charming new feature. Children laughed as they fed the live reindeer baby carrots at the petting zoo, and there was a line a mile long to sit on Santa's lap and have their picture taken over at the North Pole village, (uncle Mark was fulfilling his destiny and playing the role of Santa himself.) I caught sight of Spencer taking swarms of happy customers on horse drawn sleigh rides out to the fields to find their perfect tree. I spied Jasper operating a chainsaw and an intimidating piece of machinery that shook out loose needles and wrapped the trees in twine for easy transport. Jameson could be seen moving about and making sure everything was running smoothly.
My post today was the gazebo. I rang customers up for their purchases, and handed out hot chocolate and candy canes to anyone who wanted them. The holiday spirit was electric, permeating the frosty air. For the first time since I was a small girl, I felt the magic of the season in my soul. There was a smile on my face that I couldn't wipe off even if I had wanted to.
Spencer came to check in on me around lunch time, bringing with him a peppermint mocha. "Thought you might need a little pick me up after last night. I know for a fact that you didn't get much sleep." He teased, his dark blue eyes sparkling in the winter sunshine.
I had woken up this morning to Spencer's gentle kiss on my cheek. I had fallen asleep wrapped in his strong arms. We hadn't gotten much sleep, it was true, but what we had gotten had been perfect. His heart beating in time to mine, our breaths in unison, It had felt natural, like it was always meant to be like this.
After he had woken me I quickly re-dressed and made my way stealthily back to my bedroom where I prepared for the day while reliving the events of evening in my memory. Memories of both Spencer and Jameson. Oh my God. My life was becoming a steamy erotica story. Like, "Dear Playgirl, last night I hooked up with two of the hottest guys on the West coast... And I had a date with Jasper tonight!
Spencer and I took our break together, our seasonally flavored coffees bringing warmth to our frozen bones. When He bid me farewell so that he could return to driving his sleigh through the picturesque forest I headed back to my post with renewed vigor, ready to serve the customers with every bit of over the top cheer that the position called for.
As I reached the gazebo Jas
per popped up out of nowhere and pulled me into a big bear hug. He was wearing his top of the line winter sports gear again, looking like he was ready to snowboard down a mountain at a moments notice. "I've been watching you ring up customers all morning and goddamn you look good doing it." he said playfully, lifting me up off of the fresh dusting of powdery snow that was coating the ground. I wrapped my arms around his shoulders and looked down into his handsome features. His eyes were as green as the trees that surrounded us, and his smile was as dazzling as the snow covered peaks in the distance. I found my heart beating a little bit faster as he lowered me slowly, our bodies never breaking contact.
"We still on for tonight , sexy?" He said, looking down at me with excitement practically bursting out of him. "Saw you coming back from lunch with Spence. Looks like I'll have to come up with a pretty impressive evening to top whatever he did for you last night." He didn't seem remotely upset or jealous when he said that though. It was almost like he was looking forward to the competition.
"Well," I said coyly, "you better bring your A game. Spencer set the date bar pretty high."
"Challenge accepted, Babe." He said, twirling me around and making me giggle.
"You're really alright with me going out with Spencer, and... Jameson too?" I asked hesitantly. I wanted to make sure everything was out in the open before we took this any further. Jasper seemed just fine with sharing, but I needed to know he was going into this with all the facts.
"Whoa. " He said without missing a beat. "Jameson too, huh? I guess I'm not so surprised." He still didn't sound troubled, and my hopes rose a little bit. " Sweetheart, I don't care if you're dating every guy in this town, all I know is that I feel like the luckiest guy alive that I have the chance to take you out too."
