“I can’t get over how beautiful you are.” Devon reached for my hand. “C’mon.” We walked up the stairs together. Devon swept me up in his arms and smiled down at me.

“See, good as new.” He said with his dazzling smile.

“Where are we going?” I tittered.

“You know I had an offer to help me shower,” he confessed.

“Oh, so I heard.” I twisted my mouth in displeasure.

“I am going to take a shower now.” He gave me a playful smile.

“But you don’t need my help anymore,” I teased.

“Yeah, but it’s more fun this way. I am going to really enjoy full use of my arm in the shower again,” he growled with a mischievous grin. “Especially with you in it.”

Devon set me down on the small wooden shower bench and knelt in front of me. He felt my forearms with his fingertips and lifted my red camisole over my head as I raised my arms for him. I sat in front of him topless. Devon came closer to me, and I pressed my fingers into the closure of his shirt to feel his broad chest. I unbuttoned his sport shirt one button at a time while my fingers rubbed against his skin. I stood up and prowled towards him, working the last few buttons and opening his shirt to feel the wonderful smooth muscles of his chest.

Devon was pressed against the wall now. His eyes swept over my body and back to my lips. His arousal grew at the sight of me. His heated gaze burned my skin and ran right down to my center. I pressed my hands into his chest and planted kisses across it, circling and licking his nipple. Devon’s breathing turned ragged while his hands moved over the curves of my body.

He nibbled at my ear before wandering down my neck, scraping his teeth and kissing me down to my shoulder. I responded with a groan of pleasure. He hooked his thumbs into my jeans and slowly slipped them down to the floor with my panties.

We stood in front of a full-length mirror in the bathroom. Devon held me close, staring at me in the mirror and running his hands over my tender breasts. His hand guided mine over my body as he whispered in my ear. “I am so glad that I have use of both my hands right now.” His hands kneaded and fondled my breasts while I moaned. I ran my fingers over his cheek and square jaw as he touched me.

He ran his nose along my neck and kissed me. “Do you see why you have so little competition? Do you see how incredibly stunning you are, Erin?”

I just moaned from his touch.

Devon scraped his teeth on my neck, tasting me and gently clasping the skin on my shoulder between his bare teeth while his hands moved over my stomach and to my waist.

“I want you—in the shower,” he breathed in my ear. “It’s been so long since I could touch you, and take a shower with both arms. I may as well do both now.” He fondled my breasts. His hands moved over mine, moving them over my body and slowly back up to my breasts while he gazed at me in the mirror. He pinched my nipples with his index finger and thumb, and I whimpered and arched my back in delight.

I turned to him and lifted my head as my eyes met his. My needy hands returned to him, running my hands down his chest, to the smooth muscles of his stomach, to his jeans. I unbuttoned his jeans and slid them over his boxer briefs now strained from his arousal. I pulled his jeans down his muscular, long legs, and tossed them to the floor with my clothes. I smiled as I pulled down his boxer briefs and tossed them to the side.

Devon stepped into the shower and held his hand out for me as beads of water bounced off the hard muscles of his chest and arms. I grabbed his hand and scooted into his chest as the water sluiced around his large body. I felt the rippling muscles of his rock-hard body, devouring the soft skin over the hard muscles of his chest and stomach with my hands.

“You’re not even wet yet!” He laughed as I pressed into his chest, still dry. Devon quickly turned me into the water and I yelped. “There, now we’re both wet.” He smiled as rivulets of water streamed down our faces. Devon reached for the soap as the warm water massaged and soothed us in the shower. “Now, the real reason I’m glad my hands are free,” he said with a spirited grin.

“You’re so bad.” I smiled while my eyes took in his chiseled body.

“You bring out the worst in me. I can’t help myself,” he growled in a husky tone. His naked chest shimmered in the water. The eroticism of the moment scorched every inch of me and caused heat to stir in my center while the warm water caressed and massaged my body.

Devon’s eyes raked over me and lingered on my firm breasts as he lathered soap in his hands. He pressed his soapy hands to my swelling breasts, pinching my nipples and massaging each breast. He was fully erect as I responded and whimpered from his touch.

Devon pressed into me, spreading scorching hot kisses down my neck, his tongue lapping up beads of water. I squirmed at the heavenly sensations on my neck and breasts.

I reached down to his hardening member, touching him for the first time, wrapping my hand around his throbbing shaft, feeling the silky skin around his steely, pulsing core.

I moved my hand back and forth, thrusting my hand as Devon continued to massage and fondle my breasts. I marveled at his thickness and size, and how he responded to my touch. I never felt so sexual in my entire life. His erection strengthened like steel in my small hand and Devon rumbled a deep groan.

I was panting now from his touch and the sensation of fisting his powerful member in my hand. My breathing turned to hitched gasps.

He worked the soapy lather down my stomach, to my waist, and to my aching center. He stroked me gently with his fingers, reaching under me and caressing the crease between my mound and my ass, and turning me around to wash the cheeks and the muscle and flesh of my ass. Devon rinsed me off and pressed his lips to the curve of one breast, lapping up beads and streams of moisture from me with his tongue, and pressing his teeth and the tip of his tongue against the hard bead of my nipple. His hand continued caressing my ass and my sex, washing my thighs and my perineum, brushing his fingers and the bath sponge against my sensitive areas.

I held his shoulders and leaned back, and scorching heat rushed to my center while Devon teased and bathed me in the steamy shower. His fingers grazed my clit, and my hips undulated in the shower—my body wanting, needing him inside me now. I moaned as his hands moved over me, cleaning my thighs as he still suckled on my breasts and nipples.

I lathered soap into my hands and ran my fist over his long shaft, causing his massive member to press against my stomach. Devon suddenly spun me around and pressed into me, his breath hot and steamy on my neck. He reached for a condom already in the sink drawer and rolled it over his throbbing member with an adroit hand. I braced against the bar in the shower as Devon held my waist and pressed into me, gently at first, and then easing in, pushing himself inside me and gasping hot and moist breaths across my neck.

He angled my hips to thrust into me even deeper, mercilessly now in a rhythm, wet and slippery, causing me to whimper loudly. “Oh, God!” I felt myself convulse and clench against him, and ignite into full orgasm as Devon exploded inside me in a thundering growl of ecstasy. I moaned and gasped as I eased my grip on the shower bar, regaining my breath. Devon turned me towards him and held me against his wet body, our breaths matching gasps of rapturous relief.

Devon stepped out of the shower and reached for a towel, holding it out for me. I stepped into it and he wrapped it around my dripping body. He grabbed another towel and wrapped it around his waist. I patted the corner of my towel over his chest, wiping beads of water away and feeling the contours of his muscled chest. I rubbed the towel down to his six-pack stomach, pressing on each slab of muscle, and moving around to his broad back, patting the towel over his wet, glistening skin.

I came back around and smiled up at him. “Hard to reach places.”

Devon smiled back at me. “Where were you a week ago when I really needed you?”

A smile tugged the corners of my mouth. “All you had to do was ask.”

Devon squeezed his eyes shut in painful disbelief on what he had miss
ed out on.

  Chapter Ten

  ~Devon~

Devon knew that the team’s season was shot this year. They had a record of four wins and six losses. They had lost the last four in a row now since Devon had been out. He knew that Matt was not happy, but Devon was pretty sure that Matt’s anger was taken out on the lockers instead of Steve’s head. Devon only hoped this would be the end of it.

Devon converted lawn-mowing clients into snow-shoveling clients to make some extra money during the winter. He used the money to buy some more clothes and Erin’s Christmas present. Erin wanted to go to an art fair during Christmas week. Devon said he wanted to just hang out around the house.

Erin swatted him on the arm. “You know I wanted to go!” She swatted him again but noticed him stifling a smile.

She narrowed her eyes at him. “What are you up to?”

“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” he said with an innocent tone.

Erin drew her brows close as she glared at him.

“What?” Devon chuckled and shrugged at her.

He handed her a gift beautifully wrapped in Van Gogh’s Starry Night.

She unwrapped the present while sneaking a look at his expression. She found one present and another small box with instructions not to open the box until Christmas morning.

Devon knew she wanted to go to the city but rarely made it due to her busy schedule. She received two day passes for the annual art fair during the week after Christmas. “You can take whoever you want.” He pointed to himself. “Don’t worry, your mom approves; in fact, she got me the deal through her company.”

Erin curled into him and kissed him on the cheek. “It’s perfect!” She bounced in his arms with excitement.

It’s already worth it, he thought.

On Christmas, Devon had given her a necklace with an infinity symbol and a heart. “I told you I would always be here for you. This necklace is just a reminder of that.”

Erin sunk into him, her eyes moist and happy.

Erin had given Devon a new cell phone with his favorite music preloaded onto it along with her as the first contact. “I love it,” he said, holding her in his arms.

  ~Erin~

The exhibit showcased everything from photography and paintings, to film, holography, and the most recent innovations in Hollywood special effects. The innovations had my eyes aglow like a kid on Christmas morning. I took it all in and we topped it off with a meal in the city.

“That was totally awesome. It really makes me excited for Columbia, or wherever we end up,” I said.

“Do you really think we can get in the same college?” I asked him over a wavering candle.

“Sure, we can apply to several and select from the ones that we’re both accepted at,” he said, satisfied. “Besides, I am majoring in business and I can go to a lot of places.”

“Problem solved.” A slight smile tugged at my mouth as I looked at him.

“But what about after that? What about work?” he asked.

“You generally hate the idea of working for someone so you can go wherever you want,” I said.

Devon curled his lips downward, leaned back and looked at me. “When did I say that?”

“You don’t have to; it’s written all over your face when you talk about it,” I said with a slow smile.

“I never realized…” Devon looked at the table and back up at me. “How do you know that?”

“You just wouldn’t be happy unless you were on your own. You don’t like the way companies treated your parents, Devon. You don’t trust them. It is one of your pet peeves.”

“What other secrets do you know about me?” His mouth quirked up in a curious smile.

“I know that you talk in your sleep and that you say things about me.” I hid my smile as I took a sip of iced tea.

“I do not.” Devon chuckled with a half-smile that glimpsed a perfect set of white teeth.

“You do. You say things that you would never tell me in person.” I looked off to the side with a twist of my mouth.

He stared at me. “Okay, I’ll bite. Like what?”

“You say that I’m the only one, that you love me, and that you can’t live without me.” I rocked my foot with my legs crossed, still looking off to the side.

“Do I snore?” Devon asked, amused.

“No, thank God. But you do call out my name.”

Devon’s smile broadened in disbelief. He stared at me and shook his head.

  “Anything else?” He chuckled.

“Yes, you say that you love only me and no one else.”

  “All in my sleep, huh?”

“Yes! All in your sleep!” I insisted.

“I guess that’s it then. I wear my heart on my sleeve, or rather on my pajamas.” He smirked. “So I guess there is no reason to say all those things to you in person then since…you know…I say them all in my sleep anyway.” Devon shrugged.

I frowned. “You can still say them to me. You know, for, um…confirmation. It means more when you’re actually conscious.” I twisted my lips up at him.

Devon stood up and scooted next to me in the booth. “I guess I don’t have any secrets left then?” Devon’s eyes searched mine.

“I don’t know, do you?” I smiled and bit my lip.

Devon brushed his nose against my temple, and descended to nibble on my ear. “I’m glad I don’t reveal all of my secrets. It might get a bit…graphic.” He moved his lips against my neck. I moaned in response.

“Don’t get too graphic. This is a family restaurant.” I giggled.

Just then the waiter appeared with the food. “Will that be all, sir?” he said with a somber tone.

“More of those delicious bread sticks, thank you,” Devon said. “I’ll have dessert later,” he whispered in my ear.

I blushed. “We have to apply for more colleges tomorrow.”

“So we have all night,” he whispered.

“We can see the city while we’re here.” I said.

“Anything you want.” Devon kissed my temple, smiled at me and moved across the table, pulling his plate of prime rib and oven-roasted potatoes towards him.

He held my hand as we walked through the city. We were in the wealthiest part of the city. We guessed how much items in the window were. We saw a men’s leather bomber jacket. I guessed $1,000. Actual price: $7,500. Devon guessed that a pair of strass black diamond high heels cost $500. The price tag revealed $3,300. There was a Lamborghini Roadster. Both of us guessed $250,000. The actual price was $381,000.

After our extravagant window shopping, Devon drew me close. “All the money in the world can’t buy this moment with you.” He cupped my cheek as his eyes moved over my face, from my eyes, and to my lips. Devon’s eyes glinted with fire and desire. He grazed his lips with mine, and I took in the smooth, soft texture of his lips. I wrapped my arms around him and raised my head to meet his kiss. His lips were warm and sweet and sent waves of pleasure through my entire body. Our mouths moved in a sensual dance. Devon nibbled on my lower lip, sending warmth across my cheeks and down my spine, straight to my center.

I responded by nibbling on his mouth before gliding down his neck and tasting his delicious skin. We parted and held hands, smiling and laughing as we walked to the car under the city lights. “Do you see all those lights up there, in those financial buildings?” he asked me.

“Yes.” I looked up towards the imposing skyscrapers against the night sky. “People work until nine or ten o’clock. Sometimes all night. But I’m here with you, enjoying this beautiful night. I’ll take that over the Lamborghini.” He smiled. “But I would prefer to have both,” he teased me.

I punched him gently. “So much for the principled speech.”

Devon dropped me off at my home in the late evening. I asked him to come in for dessert, and a lopsided smile dimpled his cheek.

I stood at the front door with him. “You know, my mom trusts you to take care of me. That’s why she let us go on thi
s trip.” I turned my head towards him and folded my lips.

“I do plan on taking care of you,” he said with a boyish smile.

We walked into the living area and sat on the couch. “So what are the secrets you are not telling me?” I scooted closer to him.

  “Honestly?” he asked.

  “Yes, tell me.” I said.

“I thought that you would be a major distraction for me this coming summer. I mean, last summer, I could not get over how incredible you looked in your bikini. You really threw me off balance all summer. I couldn’t stop thinking about you.” He caressed my hand.

“Really?” I said, completely intrigued with the idea.

“Yeah, I mean, I really fantasized about you in that green bikini,” he confessed. Devon rubbed his brows and eyes, with a tinge of embarrassment.

  “What about Laura?”

“I was thinking about you even when I was with her. I couldn’t stop. I was smitten.” He smiled at me.

“I also fantasized about you giving me a striptease,” he said matter-of-factly.

“Devon, you are full of confessions this evening.” I smirked.

“I must be drunk on all of those kisses. I really can’t get enough of you, Erin.”

“You are so bad. I know what you’re up to. But in all honesty, last summer was incredible for me too. When you held me close, especially. It was incredible. It was the most erotic moment of my entire life up until then.” My cheeks flushed as I flicked my eyes towards him and back down. A grin spread across my face, and my eyes widened. “Hold on, I’ll be right back,” I said with excitement.

  Chapter Eleven

  ~Erin~

Devon sat on the couch and crossed his ankle over his thigh, rocking his foot back and forth. A few minutes later, I returned with a long button down shirt that covered most of my body.

“What are you up to, you crazy girl?” A lustful smile spread across his face as he licked his lips with intrigue.

I turned on the MP3 player on the counter and selected “Pour Some Sugar on Me.” A playful smile laced across my lips as I stalked towards him. His wide green eyes were aglow. I turned around and unbuttoned the first button, moved towards him and leaned in to show a glimpse of the curves of my breasts, and turned around to bump my behind against his leg.
