Tempest's Paradise (Siren Publishing Allure)

Tempest had no idea it would feel like that. Her breasts had been super sensitive since she had gotten pregnant, but she had no idea it would feel like this. When he sucked her nipple into his mouth, the spike of pleasure zinged down into her stomach and straight to her clit. The feel of Devin taking some of her milk almost pushed her headlong into a screaming orgasm. She threaded her fingers through his hair and gave an insistent tug. She almost wept for joy when he trailed his lips back up her torso.
Devin came face-to-face with the love of his life. “I forgot how good you taste,” he said gruffly against her lips and gave her a kiss with his tongue sweeping inside for a quick taste of her. “I need more.” He groaned and started down her body again.
His lips were like magic as they trailed across her skin. He gave her flesh teasing kisses, playful nips, and toe-curling sucks. His lips moved down the gentle slope of her belly, and then he stopped. Her eyes popped open, and she raised her head to look down her body at him. What she saw brought tears to her eyes.
Devin was settled intimately between her thighs and staring at her still-pink C-section incision. His fingers lightly traced the pink scar. He bent his head to place a reverent kiss on the tender skin. He kissed the entire length of the incision and then trailed the tip of his tongue along the sensitive skin. Her fingers pushed through the silky strands of his hair and held him to her body. She could feel his reluctance to move on, but his hands gripped her hips and his lips continued their journey.
Tempest thought her eyes were going to roll right out of her head by the time Devin finally reached his ultimate goal. Her entire body shivered when he placed a tender kiss on her groomed curls. He wasted no time in getting to her slick center. His tongue pushed through her swollen lips, and he growled against her skin when he finally tasted her after such a long time away.
She tasted better than he remembered. She was richer, creamier than before. Everything about her was better. Her licked her from her perineum to her clit and relished every jerky move she made, every shuddered gasp. His tongue brushed feather light over her clit, and her hips jerked in response.
“Please! I need you!” Tempest all but cried. She knew she was begging, but she didn’t give a damn. She needed more.
She felt him smile against her skin and gave a startled cry of relief when he sucked her tingling clit into his mouth. Her hips canted forward, and her head fell back between her shoulders. Devin watched her from his place between her thighs and knew he would never see a more beautiful sight. He sucked her little nub into his mouth and rapidly flicked his tongue over the sensitive bundle of nerves. He wrapped his hands around her silky thighs and held her open to his marauding mouth.
She was going to die. She just knew she was going to die. Her body shook uncontrollably, and her breaths came out as shuddering sobs. She strained for her orgasm as Devin’s tongue played her body like a fine instrument. He gripped her clit gently between his teeth and thrust two fingers into her weeping pussy. It was all too much. Her orgasm crashed through her. Her body bowed in a sexy arch, and her lips opened on a silent scream.
Devin crawled up her body and watched her orgasm from above her. She was breathtaking in her passion. She lay under him panting and trying to catch her breath. Her gently pinched her chin and waited for her to open her lovely green eyes. Once she did, he asked her the question that had been gnawing at his gut since he found her.
“Baby, has there been anyone else here,” he asked, gently drawing his finger through her slick pussy lips, “since I was?”
He waited for her answer with bated breath.
“No, just you. No one else, just you,” Tempest said on a shuddered breath and watched a possessive light enter his eyes.
He gave a feral growl and shifted his hips slightly. His swollen head of his cock pushed past her protective muscles, and her slick sheath closed around the big head. They both groaned at the sensation and stopped to catch their breaths.
“There won’t be anyone else but me from now on. You’re mine and only mine,” he whispered harshly against her lips as he thrust another inch into her body. “So goddamn hot and wet. So fuckin’ tight.” He groaned.
He stopped to catch his breath when his cock head was kissing the mouth of her womb. He pulled his hips back until the muscles of her entrance snared his swollen cap.
“You’re mine. Say it.” He growled at her.
“I’m yours, Devin,” Tempest said her eyes glazed with lust.
He thrust into her and pulled back.
“There won’t be anyone but me! Say it,” he snarled.
“No one else but you. Please, Devin,” she said on a sob.
The thrust of his hips were fast and furious. His head leaned down, and he took the curve of her neck between his teeth and bit gently, holding her in place like a wild animal. His pace and thrusts only became faster and harder when Tempest gave a shocked cry as the slight pain ratcheted her pleasure into a new stratosphere.
“This pussy is mine.” He growled into her ear and groaned when her inner muscles tightened around his sensitive shaft.
He slid his arms under her shoulders and reached around, holding her shoulders for leverage. He rested his sweaty forehead against hers and fought his climax.
“Come for me, baby. Come all over my big cock,” he whispered in her ear.
Tempest swore he sounded like sin incarnate. His hot words and the rhythmic smacking against her clit sent her spiraling over the edge into nirvana. She couldn’t stop the scream as it was ripped from her throat. Her nails raked down his back, leaving marks. She clutched his ass and pulled him closer as her pussy spasmed around his cock.
At the first ripple of her orgasm, Devin followed her over. His cock swelled to impossible proportions and exploded, sending his seed shooting against her cervix. It was never ending as ropes and ropes of cum coated her walls, marking her as his. He held her close as his hips thrust erratically against her body. They finally relaxed, but his cock still throbbed in her tight pussy. He was home, and he was never leaving.
Tempest was still floating on the high of her orgasm when Devin rolled off of her. She gave a hum of satisfaction as he pulled her into his body and held her tight.
“We’re going to be getting married soon,” Devin said in a throaty voice.
Tempest froze and had to remember to breathe. “Really! Is this your idea of a proposal? Because if it is, it kinda sucks,” she asked with a chuckle, her inside a mass of jittery nerves.
“Nope, it’s not a proposal. I’m just telling you how it’s going to be. I lost you. Now I’ve found you and my kids. I’m not letting you get away from me again. Be ready because we’ll be getting married this weekend,” he said as he looked down into the green liquid pools of her eyes.
She stared up at him, completely shocked then her insides started doing a happy dance. She wasn’t even going to try and play hard to get. She had loved him before their worlds were shot to shit. She was going to hook him any way she could.
“I don’t get any say in this?” she asked with a haughty arch of her brow.
“Absolutely none.”
“Fine but since I don’t get a say in the matter, you better have me one helluva ring,” she said with a fake pout.
He pulled her into his chest, and she smiled against the smattering of coarse hair as his chest rumbled with laughter.
“I can do that,” Devin said with a chuckle.

“He did what?” Elaine nearly screeched.
“He proposed! Or he kind of proposed,” she said with a little chuckle.
“I must be old fashioned or something, but how does a man kind of propose to you, dear?” Grace asked, her brow crinkling in confusion.
“He pretty much told me that we were getting married and we were getting married this weekend,” Tempest said with a smile.
“He told you that you were going to marry him?” Elaine asked with disbelief.
“Yep and since he didn’t fee
l the need to give me a say in the matter, I told him he better have a super nice ring,” she said and giggled. She had to stop and resist the urge to pinch herself. When was the last time she had giggled?
“Well that’s one way to deal with it. You do realize you don’t have to marry him…right?” Elaine said as if she was speaking to a small child.
“I know, but in all honesty I’ve loved him since before he left. I’ll take him any way I can get him,” she said with an almost shy smile.
“Well, I for one am happy for you. Are we invited to the wedding, dear?” Grace asked with a big cheesy grin.
“Of course! We’re going to use that small chapel off Battalion Avenue. The service is for close friends only, so you, Elaine, and the general will be there. Devin is inviting his three friends Mark, Phillip, and Samuel. That’s all that is invited. Anyone else is a wedding crasher,” she said and giggled again.
Elaine stood up suddenly. “We need to go shopping!” she shouted and grabbed Tempest’s hand and started pulling her toward the door.
“Wait! What for?” Tempest said and dug her heels in.
“We are going to shop for a nice dress. I’m well aware that you won’t have a traditional wedding dress, but you will have a nice dress come hell or high water,” she said sharply and grabbed Tempest’s wrist in both hands and pulled.
“But what about the kids?” Tempest said.
“Devin!” Elaine yelled.
“Yeah?” Devin yelled from down the hall.
“We’re going shopping for a dress. Watch the rug rats while we’re gone!” she yelled.
“Got it!” he yelled in answer.
“See,” Elaine said with a triumphant grin, “all taken care of. Now let’s go!”
Tempest gave a disgruntled sigh. She hated shopping.

The computer hated her. She just knew the stupid piece of technology was laughing at her. She still hadn’t found out where the money came from to fund Scott’s sabotage of Maddox Inc. Her wedding was the next day. She should be happy and damn near euphoric. Instead, she was pissed off and getting damn close to homicidal. Her computer usually never gave her so many issues, but today it was mocking her.
Tempest glared daggers at her once favorite piece of machinery. She had to do some strong resisting to not smack it on the side or, hell, just smash it to a million pieces on the floor.
“I hate you. I hate you. I hate you,” she muttered under her breath.
“You know it’s been my experience that computers work better for you when you talk nice to them,” Devin said as he walked into the room with one kid on each hip.
Tempest turned and redirected her dagger glare on her soon-to-be husband. If she didn’t decide to kill him first.
“All righty then! I’ll just shut my mouth and put the kids down for their nap,” Devin said with a cautious grin as he ducked his head and hurriedly left the room.
“That might be a wise decision.” Tempest growled at his retreating back.
“Come on, my lil rug rats. Let’s leave Momma to threatening her big bad computer,” Devin said to the kids.
Tempest couldn’t help but smile as Seth and Serenity gave a couple of gurgles of agreement. She gave a frustrated sigh and scrubbed her hand over her face as she let her decryption program work its supposed magic. She was close to rubbing a bald spot on her head when the program beeped at her.
She froze and peaked through her fingers. She was a little scared that the program might be trying to trick her into a false sense of confidence.
“It worked?” she questioned no one in particular with disbelief in her voice. “It worked. Holy shit! It worked!” she shouted and jumped up from the chair with her arms raised in the air signaling her victory. “Hot damn it worked!”
“Can you keep it down? The kids are trying to sleep,” Devin scolded as he stuck his head into the kitchen and gave her a disapproving scowl.
She whirled around with wide, excited eyes. “It worked! I did it! My program worked! I decrypted his files! I’ve got all of his information at my nimble little finger tips!” she shouted excitedly at him.
She gave a gleeful giggle and launched herself into his unsuspecting arms. He barely caught her and let out a startled umph.
“I’m happy for you?” he said, confusion clear in his tone.
“Don’t you get it? I’ve got all of his banking information. I’ve got all of his e-mail communications with whoever was paying him! I’ve got it all! Now all I have to do is sort it out and find a name!”
“Nice!” he said with a big grin. He pulled her into his arms and gave her a loud, smacking kiss.
“We won’t be able to do much with whatever I find. Mainly because I found it out through less than legal ways, but at least this way we can watch for whoever is doing this!” she said with elation rolling off of her in literal waves. “We’ll have this worked out shortly after the wedding.”
“You mean you don’t want to start working on it now?” Devin questioned with disbelief.
“Nah, our wedding is tomorrow and now that I’ve broken his encryption, I just want to relax. We can figure it out later,” she said with a smile and gave him a gentle kiss.
“I think that is a wonderful idea. Why don’t we go and take a little nap, too? You’ve been working on that for a while and you deserve a break,” Devin said with a smile and took her hand, leading her down the hallway.
“I think that is a wonderful idea,” she answered with a tired smile.
Tomorrow was going to be a long, tiring day. Getting a nap sounded like a great idea to her. She crawled under the covers and scooted over into Devin’s arms. There was nowhere else in the world she would rather be, and come tomorrow he would be hers forever. She drifted off into a peaceful sleep with a small smile playing across her lips.
Chapter 9
“You look amazing,” Elaine said in an almost wistful voice. “I’m very happy for you, honey.”
“Thanks, El. I’m glad you’re here. I hope you know that I wouldn’t have survived this last year without you,” she said as tears gathered in her eyes, causing her vision to blur.
Elaine gave a disbelieving snort. “You would’ve been fine.”
“No, I’m serious, El. If you hadn’t been there for me, I wouldn’t have made it. You were there for me in a really dark time. I think of you as my sister, and I love you. You know that…right?” she questioned, her voice cracking with emotion.
“I love you, too,” Elaine said with a big smile. “I’ll be here for you no matter what.”
“Good! Now let’s cut out the mushy stuff and get on with my wedding!” she said with excitement.
“Absolutely but first you have some visitors who had begged an audience with you,” Elaine said with a knowing smirk.
“Begged an audience?” Tempest asked with a cocked brow.
“Yep, begged an audience, and a couple of them were very gracious but one of them was a real dickhead,” she answered with a scowl.
“All right, well, you may now escort them into the main chamber,” Tempest said, mimicking what she figured was a queenly voice.
Elaine laughed and opened the door. Tempest jumped to her feet with a squeal.
“Mark, Samuel, Phillip! I’m so glad you could make it! Devin wasn’t sure if you’d come or not!” Tempest said as she gave each one of them a warm hug.
“You’re like our little sister. We wouldn’t have missed this for the world,” Mark said with a chuckle but then turned serious. “Are you okay? You left, and I really didn’t know what happened. None of us are still real sure what happened,” he said with a scowl.
“I’m fine and I’ll tell you about it…one day.”
“Fair enough I’m just glad you’re okay,” Mark said as he pulled her into a warm hug.
“We’re all glad you’re okay,” Phillip said with his customary goofy grin. He, too, pulled her into a brotherly embrace.
“We sure are. I’m just sorry it to
ok us so long to get in to see you,” Samuel said in an uncharacteristically sharp tone and turned to glare at Elaine.
Well, isn’t that odd…
“Yeah, well, it might have moved smoother for you if you had been the least bit polite,” Elaine said with a sneer.
“You were being unreasonable.” Samuel growled.
“I am never unreasonable, jerkwad. I’m just allergic to assholes,” Elaine said with an unrepentant grin.
“Are you insinuating that I’m an asshole?” Samuel asked with indignation.
“I never insinuate anything. I was definitely calling you an ass hole,” she said with the same unrepentant grin.
Samuel crossed his arms over his muscled chest. “You should be taken in hand and taught how to be a lady.”
The silence in the room was thunderous as the three bystanders watched Elaine and Samuel fire at each other.
Elaine just cocked a brow at him. “And I suppose you think you’re man enough to take me in hand?” she asked.
“Maybe.”
Elaine just studied Samuel for a minute and then rolled her eyes. “You do realize that I know how to kill you with just my bare hands…right?” she asked with a smirk.
Samuel snorted. “You don’t see me worried, do you?”
Elaine gave him a sweet smile that didn’t touch her eyes. “Maybe you should be,” she said and left the room.
Phillip stared at his twin with his mouth hanging open. “What in the hell is wrong with you? You were acting like a jerk,” he said in disbelief. “You’re never a jerk.”
“She pissed me off with her crappy attitude,” Samuel said with a haughty sniff.
