I topped up her drink and pushed the ashtray across the table.

"Now will you stub that stinking thing out?"

  Chapter 7

  Draygus

Since my arrival on Earth, I have noticed humans’ preoccupation with living in a beautiful house. They want the nicest things and are prepared to work themselves almost to death in order to afford it. If only they knew how easy it is to have what you want if you merely take it.

Standing on the balcony of the penthouse I now called my home, I smirked at the ease in which it came to me. A quick search of the electoral records showed me that, although the house was owned by a wealthy Russian gentleman, he seldom resided in it. Now, he was currently living and working in Monaco and through a quick search of his social media pages, I soon learned that he was not inclined to return to the penthouse until Christmas, which was over six months away.

While pretending to be his nephew, I acquired a set of spare keys from the cleaning agency in charge of the building, then copied them before sending them back without suspicion. Humans, though naturally hostile, are exceedingly trusting of strangers to the point of idiocy. No one doubted that I was the owner's nephew, all I had to say was, look, we have the same nose, don't we? And the woman laughed and handed over the keys. I laughed harder as I walked out of her office and up the stairs to my new home.

Now, all I had to do was make it look like it belonged to me. Every surface was littered with family photos and it would only take Anya a few seconds to realize that I was in none of them. It was to be a laborious task replacing all the photographs with my own fictional family life but it had to be done, and after admiring the skyline, I headed inside to the home office where I began my photo manipulation work.

All the while, I thought of Anya and how much I looked forward to seeing her. Of course, I knew I shouldn't be feeling this way. I had to rein my feelings in, remind myself that I only needed her to enter the satellite facility. Still, knowing that I was about to see her, sent a tingle through my gut.

As I was inserting the last of the photographs into the large frame above the fireplace, the doorbell rang, and I flung it open to reveal a smiling Anya who was clutching a bottle of wine.

"You said the other night that this was your favorite," she said as I took it from her dainty hands.

"You have a good memory," I replied. "Such a beautiful gift from such a beautiful woman."

She reached up and kissed my cheek before I pulled away and gestured into the living room.

"Please, make yourself at home," I said.

Her eyes widened as she walked inside.

  "Whoa… you live here?"

"Uh-huh," I nodded, as I moved into the nearby kitchen for a corkscrew. "Been here eighteen months now," I lied with ease.

"It's gorgeous!" she said as she slapped her hands to her cheeks. "It's like you live in a museum!"

I chuckled and poured her a glass of wine.

"I'm glad you like it," I said. "Would you like the guided tour?"

She nodded eagerly as I handed over her drink.

"Okay, so this... is the living room, obviously. As you can see the white marble fireplace is archaic in fashion, unlike the modernity that pervades the rest of the room. This is because it was pulled from a crumbling Robert Adams mansion in England before being shipped out here purely for my own amusement."

I was aware of how arrogant I was sounding, but the cockier I acted, the closer she stood up to me and gazed into my eyes as she hung on every word.

"And as we move into the bathroom, we can that the bath is-"

"Huge!" she gasped. "You could fit a football team in there!"

"It's big because I like my space. Made of a similar marble than the fireplace, it weighs almost two tons and had to be airlifted and lowered down through the ceiling."

"Very impressive," she said. "So, what else have you got to show me?"

  I pointed across the hallway.

"Well, I can show you the bedroom if you like," I offered as I raised my eyebrows.

"I would like that," she said as she traced a finger down my back.

Taking her hand in mine, I led her inside and sat on the edge of the bed. She sat down beside me and lay her head in the crook of my neck.

"It's beautiful in here," she said as we both looked out the large, plate glass windows that showed the early evening sun shrinking down behind the nearby skyscrapers.

"It's my favorite room," I said.

"Do you have a special story about it?" she asked. "Was the bed especially crafted by angels?"

I looked down to her face and saw her mischievous smile.

"There is no special story about this room," I said. "I just thought you'd like it."

She placed her drink down on the floor before leaning back on her elbows.

"I do like it," she said. "I really like it."

There was a cheeky look in her eyes as they sparkled. She parted her lips ever so slightly and narrowed her eyes. She's waiting for me to kiss her, I thought. But it's not time yet. I must show her that sex isn't all I want her for.

Leaning over her, I gave her a quick kiss on the lips before standing up and nodding toward the kitchen.

"Dinner will be ready," I said. "Are you hungry?"

She looked mildly disappointed and flustered and picked up her drink to take a mouthful.

"I'm always hungry," she said. "I can't wait to see your kitchen."

"You made all this?" she asked while looking at all the dishes I pulled out the oven.

"I did," I beamed. "You said the other day you liked Italian food, so I thought I'd give it a go. Over here is meatball marinara and over here is carbonara. Even made the garlic bread from scratch. And if you have some room later, we can always indulge in some gelato," I winked.

She patted her stomach and picked up the nearest serving spoon.

"You're a man of many hidden talents, Dray. What else are you hiding?"

  She didn't want to know.

While pushing forkfuls of pasta into my mouth, I watched her every move. It wasn't that I wasn't enjoying the food, I was simply disinterested and had more pressing matters at hand. She ate with a childish eagerness that made her cheeks pink and her hands busy. She ate as though it was the best meal she's ever eaten, taking the time every few mouthfuls to hum and chew overtly to show me her appreciation.

At last, when our bellies were full and she set her knife and fork down, she smiled and wiped the corners of her mouth clean. I watched as she placed the napkin down beside her with tomato sauce stains like blood spattered across a shroud. It wasn't that long ago when I was in the front line infantry back on Orba, fighting for my life as my comrades laid slain beside me in the trenches, their bodies covered in meager cloth as the blood soaked through the pristine, white fabric.

"You look very serious," Anya said, pulling me from my thoughts. "Something wrong?"

"No, er, sorry. Just, I dunno, I was lost in my thoughts there for a moment."

"That's ok," she smiled. "It's fun to daydream."

I regarded her cautiously for a moment as I thought about my next move.

"So... Are you ready for desert?" I asked.

She nodded as she watched me stand up. Then her eyes grew wider as she saw me walk in the opposite direction of the kitchen.

  "Stand up," I demanded.

  "What?"

"Just do as I say. Stand up."

She looked confused and a little scared but nevertheless, she rose from her seat. When I picked her up by the ass and placed her on the table, the sudden movement made her yelp and giggle while I buried my face in her neck and kissed the sensitive pale skin of her throat.

"Dray! What are you doing?" she squealed.

  "Shhh..."

I pressed a finger to her lips before sliding down to my knees and pushing her dress up her thighs.

  "Dray!"

Hooking my fingers into her underwear, I pulled them to the side and smelled the moisture of her
sex. It was sweet and strong and tasted like honey as I pushed my tongue in between her lips. She let out a groan and writhed against me, unable to stop herself as she became overwhelmed with pleasure.

"Slow down," she begged. "Or I'll come too soon!"

But I wasn't going to slow down no matter how much she begged. Sliding my fingers on either side of her clitoris, I exposed her sacred, sensitive spot and sucked on it hard. Her thighs clamped around my head as she screamed, then she fell backward on the table, an empty plate tumbling to the floor and smashing as she screamed.

"Fuck!" she cried. "Oh, my God!"

But I still refused to slow down and sucked harder and harder until her clitoris was engorged with blood and hot in my mouth. When it sounded as though she was barely able to breathe, I licked her slowly and she let out a long moan as she tangled her fingers in my hair.

"Yeah, like that Dray. Like that," she whispered as she reached another orgasm, shuddering as she bit her lip.

Finally, when she couldn't come anymore, she pushed me away before lying back on the table gasping for air.

"That was... the best," she struggled to say.

Pulling her up so that she leaned into my chest, I held her close and kissed the top of her head.

"I'm glad you liked it," I said before cursing myself for sounding so formal. "I mean, I would have kept going if you let me."

"I think I might have died if you kept going," she laughed as she wiped at her sweaty brow. "Seriously, that should be your super power or something."

We both laughed as I led her through to the kitchen.

"I think we both deserve some gelato," I said. "Especially you."

Handing her a bowl, I led her through to the living room where I switched on the television before settling on a music channel.

"This is good," she said as she pointed her spoon at the bowl. "You really know how to please a woman."

I felt my chest rise with a little swell of pride. It would seem that all my hard work had paid off and it was time to start getting what I really wanted.

"So... you said you work at the satellite control center?"

"Uh-huh..." she said as she licked the edges of her spoon.

"It must be fun," I said.

"Fun? Not really. I mean, it was when I first started, but I spend most of my time in the office now."

"I think it would be fun," I said. "I mean space is fascinating, right? You get to learn so much; be at the forefront of human technological advancement and gaze at the stars. I couldn't think of a better job."

"You make it sound romantic," she replied with a smile.

  "That's because it is."

We stared into each other's eyes for a moment as I thought about asking the big question.

"Anya? Do you think you'd like to take me to your work sometime?"

She narrowed her eyes and hummed suspiciously.

"Hmmm... my work. Why would you want to go there?"

"Like I said. It's fascinating. We could go now if you want."

"It's the middle of the night!" she protested.

"Just think of all the naughty fun we could have in your office," I whispered in her ear. "Just imagining having the best orgasm of your life in the place you have to work in every day."

She breathed hard and licked her lips before saying:

  "I'll think about it."

  Chapter 8

  Anya

The wind rustled through my hair like a thousand secrets being whispered by the breeze.

The rooftop garden covered the entire top floor of the building. Moonlight flooded the night sky with bright lights that mimicked those that protruded from the sides of the pool.

"This place doesn't seem real," I said. "It's more like a movie set or something."

"I'll be honest, I don't spend that much time up here."

  "Why not?" I asked.

  He shrugged and looked away.

  "I just don't."

He was getting more mysterious by the minute. It seemed that every question he answered about himself created another five. There was so much to learn about him, so much I didn't know, and he wasn't volunteering much about himself anytime soon. Although maybe he was just a private person. If that was the case, it wasn't my place to make him speak. But I really did want to know why he wanted to visit my work.

  "Dray?"

  "Yeah."

He sipped on his whiskey and looked up at the stars.

"Why do you want to go to my work?"

"I told you. I thought it would be fun. I love space and, this might come as a surprise to you, but I've never looked through a telescope before."

"Really?" I asked. "That is a surprise."

  "Really..."

The moon was high in the sky and brilliantly white amidst the blackness.

"You can see the stars so clearly from up here," I thought out loud. "How come you don't spend that much time up here? It's the perfect place to stargaze. You could even put a telescope right here."

He flashed me a look of panic, before turning back to his drink.

"You're right, but that's because you're so clever."

We both smiled weakly before looking back up to the sky. Something wasn't quite right. There was a weird feeling in my gut, a nagging voice at the back of my mind that was warning me to be careful, but I couldn't straighten out my thoughts. I remembered what Susan said, she thought there was something weird about him, something she couldn't trust. Looking over at his profile as the moonlight glinted off his sharp cheekbones, I wondered if he really was interested in space, or whether he was just looking for some trouble. Either way, was it really so bad that he wanted to have some fun?

"So, you're a space geek, eh?" I asked.

He reached over for my hand and smiled.

"Yeah, but don't tell my friends. They'll only laugh at me for being a nerd."

"A secret space geek," I giggled. "I guess it's a rather innocent and sweet secret to have."

He drained his glass and placed it beside his lounger.

"So how about it?" he asked. "You wanna do it?"

I hesitated for a moment as I thought about what we'd have to do.

"I could get into some serious trouble," I warned him. "I could lose my job! But... You only live once and I guess there might be nothing sexier than making love in the observation tower. It'll be something I'll never forget."

"We'll be beneath the stars," he said. "Not like here. We'll be amongst them, part of the universe as our bodies move together."

Feeling as though I was melting at the suggestion, I found myself being caught up in the excitement. I was falling for him hard. I'd do anything he said. In the moment, with my legs still quivering and the insides of my thighs still damp, I would have jumped off the edge of the building if he told me to.

"Okay," I said. "Let's do it."

He grinned and pulled me into a tight hug.

"I knew you were fun," he laughed. "It'll be awesome."

  "But, calm down a second."

Pulling away and holding him by the shoulders, I tried to persuade him about the severity of the situation.

"We're going to have to break in," I said. "And I don't mean scaling a fence like teenagers, I mean seriously break in. My employee pass will only get us so far, but there are areas of the facility that even I don't have access to, not without special permission."

He looked thoughtful for a second and chewed on the inside of his cheek.

"But you know where everything is, right? You know your way around."

"Oh, don't worry about that. I know where everything is, but so do the security guards."

He began pacing up and down, thinking deeply as he looked down to his shoes.

"But you'll get us inside, won't you? Into the main building."

I was starting to worry. What was with all the questions? Suddenly it didn't seem much like fun anymore. This was serious.

"What's the big deal about getting into the main building?" I asked.
"What are you really thinking?"

His expression changed in an instant and he smiled before leaning down to kiss my cheek.

"Sorry, honey. It's just that I want it to be perfect for you. I want to make love to you somewhere special, somewhere that means something to the both of us. It'll be a way for us to merge our love for the galaxy with our desire for each other."

My body yielded to him and I fell into his arms as he kissed me. He always knew the right thing to say.

"You're so sweet," I said. "Is there anything you're not brilliant at?"

Her fingers clung to the back of my jacket and I tried to pry them off.

"What's wrong?" I whispered as I crouched in the shadows.

"I'm scared," she replied. "We're going to caught. I swear I heard someone coming."

  "Shhh..."

She was right. There were footsteps in the distance. It had been easy getting into the building, a quick swipe of her employee card had let us in, but now that we were inside, it was a different story. Each separate segment required authorized access and that was only granted by a fingerprint scanner.

"Have you got access to this part?" I asked her as I pointed to the nearest door.

  She shook her head.

"The observation tower is up that way. I've only ever been in while under supervision from my boss."

"So we need the fingerprint of a guard then?" I asked.

"Yeah... That would work, but how are we going to do that?"

In the distance, the footsteps began to speed up. There was the glimmer of a flashlight glinting off the nearby pipes then the sound of the guard whistling. As he turned the corner, he slowed down and I knelt down beside the fire extinguisher, pulling Anya down beside me.

"What have we done?" she whimpered into my shoulder. "We're going to get caught."

"We're not going to get caught," I said. "I promise."

  "Who's there!" the guard shouted.

Pointing his flashlight down in our direction, I suddenly found my face illuminated by the light and threw my arm over my face.
