And then the needle pierces me.
I lose strength in my arms. Darkness closes in on me. Now all is silent.
I open my eyes slowly. I’m in bed, inside my room again. Those two are now gone.
But then I see them. One by one. The green blobs. The dark shadows. The monsters. They’re all coming out to play. They snarl their slimy teeth at me. And then they race at me, grabbing hold of my legs, dragging me to play.
“No. No. Let go. Go away. Go away. Noooooooo…”
I woke to the sound of petrified wailing. Fuck. That was me. I was drenched in sweat. My head was spinning. My heart was pounding.
My nightmare was back.
I placed a hand on my chest and felt my heart beating against my ribcage. I was alive. I wasn't dead yet.
Despite no scar on my chest, I still felt that pain.
Like the saying goes, a wound could heal, but it would leave behind a scar. Just like that event in my life. Time and medication had healed my conscious mind and physical scars, but those memories would continue to haunt me and plague me until I self-destructed.
My hand searched around, seeking for that comforting warmth that resided beside me all through last night, that source I now craved with infinite hunger.
Kimberly. I wanted to get close to her again. Wanted to bury my cock deep inside her again so I could forget about everything, even for only a small second, just to release this myriad of torrid emotions deep within me.
But the space beside me was empty. Kimberly was gone.
