Shattered: (McIntyre Security Bodyguard Series - Book 4)

Next up is Jamie’s book, which is really near and dear to my heart. Jamie has some mad skills that you haven’t really seen yet. Even though he’s blind, he is very capable at taking care of himself and those he loves. He’s got quite a crush on his new neighbor, Molly Ferguson, but for some reason, she’s keeping him at arm’s length. Jamie’s afraid it’s because he’s blind, so he’s more determined than ever to prove that his blindness doesn’t limit him or define him. But there’s a lot more to Molly’s story than you know. It’s not Jamie’s blindness that’s keeping her away from him. And you’ll find out what it is in their book, Imperfect (#5), which will be out in the fall of 2017.
At least one part of Molly’s story is very special for me. I won’t mention it here, because I don’t want to give out a spoiler for a future book. But once Imperfect is out, I’ll discuss it more because it’s an issue that means a lot to me.
Poor Cooper and Sam! What’s going to happen with these two? I love these two characters, and I can’t wait to write their story. This will be my first m/m romance novel to write, although I have read lots of them. In some ways, writing a gay romance novel is unique; in other ways, it’s no different from writing a heterosexual romance novel. We’re all looking for the same thing: unconditional love and acceptance. I’m looking forward to exploring their story, and I’m really looking forward to Cooper manning up and doing right by Sam. But first, Cooper has a lot to overcome. He has very good reason for being the way he is, as you’ll see in Dirty Little Secret (#6), which is due out in the spring of 2018.
Please Leave a Review
I hope you’ll take a moment to leave a brief review for me on Amazon. It doesn’t have to be long… just leave a brief comment indicating what you thought of the book, whether you liked it or not, etc…. Reviews are vitally important to authors! I’d be incredibly grateful to you if you’d leave one.
Thank you!
Dearest readers, I hope you enjoyed reading more of Shane and Beth’s ongoing story. I’m grateful that my favorite fictional couple is so popular with readers! These characters lived solely in my imagination for many years before I finally attempted to capture them on paper. Now they’ve taken on a life of their own, which thrills me to no end.

Acknowledgements
Books aren’t written in a vacuum. Authors are often greatly indebted to the support and kindness of friends and associates. I’m no different. Here are some of the people I’d like to thank.
First and foremost, I want to thank my darling daughter, Chloe, for her unending patience as she puts up with her mom’s crazy work schedule.
I’d like to thank my beta readers: my sister and best friend, Lori Holmes; my dear friend Tiffany Mann, who’s always ready with a kind word and brilliant insight; my dear friend Keely Knutton, who is always there with a kind word of support; and Becky Morean, a dear friend and colleague (not to mention an amazing author who teaches me so much).
I’m so grateful for the friendship and support of Samantha Christy – author extraordinaire. I look forward to our daily e-mail chats! I’d be lost without you, sister! You’re the best writing buddy a girl could ever have.
But most importantly, I want to thank all my fans around the world who support me by reading my books, posting their kind comments on Facebook, sharing my posts, recommending my books to their friends, and writing reviews on Amazon. Every one of you helped make my writing career a great success, and I’d be nowhere without you all. I thank my lucky stars for you every single day!
With much love to you all… April
