The Road to Agincourt

Page 26

by Griff Hosker

  Duke John the Fearless

Duke John is a larger than life character and deserves a whole book to himself. He openly admitted ordering the murder of his rival and, at the battle of St. Cloud, he had a bodyguard of 1000 Englishmen. The English contingent only fought in one battle and then returned to England. Historians still debate the actual motivations of the King and his son. What you have here are my answers to those motives.

The next book will take us to the time of King Henry Vth. It will cover the Battle of Agincourt which won, (along with the French princess, Katherine,) France for Henry and England.
