  ABOUT THE EDITOR

  Dick Cluster is a writer and translator in Oakland, California. He is the author of the novels Return to Sender, Repulse Monkey, and Obligations of the Bone, and of historical nonfiction including History of Havana (with Rafael Hernández) and They Should Have Served That Cup of Coffee. Recent fiction translations include Mylene Fernández Pintado, A Corner of the World (City Lights, 2014); Pedro de Jesús, Frigid Tales (Diálogos, 2014); and Aida Bahr, Ophelias (Cubana-books, 2012). He has also translated scholarly and popular nonfiction from Latin America and Spain, and was Associate Director of the University Honors Program at the University of Massachusetts at Boston. He’s a lifelong baseball fan, having transferred his loyalties over time from the Orioles to the Red Sox and now the Athletics—and always the Giants in the National League.
