Kate / Katherine

“Wednesday, what kind of event, and what would I need to wear?”

“It’s an auction of promises and a dinner. You’ll need an evening gown, but I’ll arrange to have one or two delivered to you tomorrow.”

“I have evening dresses.” Kate said curtly.

Damien raised an eyebrow and Kate’s stomach clenched.

“I’m sure you have Katherine, but I want you to wear mine.”

Kate gritted her teeth and said “Yes master.”

“I will pick you up at seven thirty sharp, wear your armband.”

Kate managed to mutter “Yes master.”

Finally they arrived at Hermione and Tony’s, and as Turner opened the door, Damien picked up Kate’s hand, kissed it and said “Thank you for the weekend Katherine.”

“You’re welcome, master.” Kate felt shy again.

Surprised to find herself in suburbia, she turned from the car and looked at Hermione and Tony’s house. It was a nice four bed detached with an attractive well designed garden front and back. Kate was surprised as it was so homely, totally different to where she had thought Hermione would live. As she walked up the path to the front door, Damien’s car was already pulling away. She turned to watch as it drove out of the street.

“Kate.” Hermione had flung open the door. “Right on time, Tony’s just coming.”

“Hello,” Kate hesitated not sure what to call her.

“Call me Hermione; if we are going to work together you can’t call me maam. Anyhow this is everyday life.” Hermione linked her arm through Kate’s and led her to the garage.

As she opened the door she said “Kate, I really like you and I’m older than you. I’m also an experienced domme, so please don’t be afraid to talk to me. Also Tony is an experienced sub, so don’t be embarrassed to talk to him.”

“Thanks, I must admit that I have a lot to think about after this weekend, I’ve never been a sub before and there are some aspects of this weekend I need to discuss with Damien.” Kate replied.

“Well after you’ve spoken to him, maybe you’d like to talk to us about it, “Hermione got into the car and backed it out of the garage.

Tony came out of the house carrying a laptop, “Hiya, Kate, you all set?”

  “Hi Tony, yes I’m ready.”

Hermione got out of the driver’s seat and Tony got in. With Hermione in the passenger seat and Kate in the back they set off, heading for Essex, Tony explained to Kate that what he wanted her to do today was to take notes about her impressions of their new client. He’d brought her a pen and notebook, Hermione would be doing the same, then tomorrow she would take Kate out to get samples etc. to make mood boards. They wanted Kate to make her own board, to show whether she had a knack for design.

When he told Kate that their client was Gem the well known glamour model she was thrilled at the thought of meeting her as she’d always admired her. Tony told her that they’d be using her real name which was Terri Jones, Miss Jones unless she told them to use her first name. After a short while they pulled off the main road onto a quiet lane bordered by trees and fences. About two miles along the lane they came to ornate wrought iron gates, Hermione hopped out and spoke into an intercom, and the gates swung open. Once she was back in the car Tony drove through and the gates shut behind them. They drove up a wide block paved drive, passing stables with horses heads looking over the doors, and a large ménage with paddocks behind; everything was new and immaculately maintained.

“Oh” Kate exclaimed. “She must ride; there are some lovely animals there.”

“Yes, she’s a keen horsewoman.” Tony commented. “Do you ride Kate?”

“Yes, since I was small. I used to help out at the local stables and was rewarded by being taught to ride.”

“Good, then you’ve already got something in common with Terri.” Hermione said happily.

As they drew up at the front door, it opened and three small dogs rushed out to greet them, followed by a young woman in white jeans and candy pink sloppy joe. Her light blonde hair was piled messily on top of her head and her face was bare of make up. She lifted a hand to greet them, and as they all climbed out of Tony’s BMW four by four, walked out to greet them.

“Hello, did you have a good drive down?”

“Yes it was fine.” Hermione said as she air kissed Terri on both cheeks. “You remember Tony, and this is Kate a new associate of ours.”

Tony kissed Terri’s cheek and Kate smiled and shook hands.

“Come in, would you like coffee tea, anything.” Terri asked.

“Yes please, a drink would be great and we can discuss your ideas for the house.” Tony answered.

As Terri led them through the hall to the state of the art kitchen, the feeling that Kate got from the house was of coldness. Once they were seated at the bar in the kitchen with cups of coffee in front of them, Tony asked Terri what she envisaged for the house. Kate opened her notebook and started to make notes as Terri talked. She was at a bit of a loss to describe what she wanted; just knowing that she wanted a homely feel for her children, a girl of six and a boy of four. For herself she wanted sexy but comfortable in her bedroom, and cosy but classy in the lounge. As for the space age kitchen, it was brand new, all granite surfaces and stainless steel. The cupboard doors were shiny white, boring!

Tony started measuring each room, while the three women wandered from room to room, talking and making notes. Kate discovered that she loved the thought of starting designing from a blank canvas; she made so many notes that she was well on the way to filling the notebook. Then Terri took them down some stairs, and opened a door to show a lap pool, sauna and jacuzzi. It was nice and warm but again was featureless; Kate envisaged greenery and comfortable lighting, with cushioned loungers positioned to form a seating area. She made a note to find out about fake palms, grasses and bamboos.

Terri seemed to have taken a shine to Kate and quizzed her about her life. Kate spoke freely about her flat, her gang of friends, her love of horses and her desire to have her own business. Terri listened well, but Kate could see that she was hurting inside. Her husband of seven years had just walked out on her and was demanding a huge amount of money to divorce her and not give stories to the press. They’d had two children together and Terri had thought he was her soul mate. The pain of discovering that he had been unfaithful to her from the beginning had almost destroyed her. He’d already given titbits to the press about how frigid Terri was, explaining that was why he’d been unfaithful.

With her glamour girl sexy style, the press had gone all out to show her in a bad light. Looking at the sadness on Terri’s pretty face Kate empathized completely. Terri was a celebrity and clever business woman and it appeared to Kate that her husband had been a chancer who seized the opportunity to make himself more famous. Kate suddenly thought ‘My god, Terri’s like I was, finding sex boring. She needs what I have with Damien, a dominant man. Difficult, giving who she is.’

Then Kate thought of James Monk, an entrepreneur, extremely rich, good looking and very powerful. He was also a dom looking for a new sub. James found Kate to his taste, especially looking sexy, so Terri would be ideal. How to introduce them, she’d have to think about it.

Terri offered lunch and quickly threw salad and cold meats with crusty bread together. Kate felt even more drawn towards her, and when Terrl learned that Kate rode, they talked horses for ages. Finally it was time to leave and Terri hugged them all and said that she was looking forward to seeing their ideas. As they drove back to London they chatted about the visit and Hermione arranged to meet Kate at a local DIY store and then take her to an interior design wholesaler, to get ideas for their mood boards. They arranged to meet at ten the next day.

Tony wanted to take Kate all the way home but she persuaded him to drop her at a local station, saying she’d get home easily from the
re. As soon as they left she hailed a taxi and directed the driver to take her to her favourite beauty parlour. She needed to get on with the laser treatment if she was to spend Wednesday night with Damien. Just the thought of him made her sex clench and she felt herself moisten. She was addicted to him.

Pushing the thought out of her mind, she phoned one of her friends to discover that the gang was going bowling that evening and they’d tried to contact Kate to ask her to go. Just what she needed, so she arranged to meet them at the bowling alley. After a quick shower her pubes were treated, then she decided to have a massage. Her whole body ached from the weekend. As she dozed under the masseuses firm hands Kate thought about each aspect of the weekend, Damien had been right about pain and pleasure being closely linked. When he touched her, it didn’t matter whether he was hurting her or not, she had orgasms like she’d never had, and had never thought possible until she met him. Even just thinking about the things he had done to her made her hot for him. Idly lying there she wondered if she had fallen in love with him. She didn’t know. If he was poor would she feel the same thrill at being with him? No, definitely not. It was the whole package she enjoyed. Surely there were poor doms and subs? But maybe not. Kate shook her head angrily, what was she doing, what a waste of time.

Damien was who he was. Sometimes generous, sometimes cruel. Never kind, always dominant. Kate was wise enough to know that if or when he tired of her, he would leave her without a second thought. She must protect herself. Get as much out of the relationship as she could before it ended. While she enjoyed being with him she must put a cage around any feelings of love he might arouse in her, she mustn’t fall for him. The sadness on Terri’s face today had shown how painful it was to love someone, who treated you badly.

Kate walked home from the beauty parlour; it was nice to be out in the fresh air after a weekend indoors. She was meeting the gang at the bowling alley at seven thirty so when she got home, at five thirty, she made herself a cup of tea and took it into her bedroom. Damien had been right when he said that being a sub was tiring; she propped herself up on her pillows, switched on her little TV, and dozed for an hour and a half. At seven o’clock she washed her face, cleaned her teeth and pulled her hair into a ponytail. She kept the expensive Harrods jeans on but put a sloppy tee shirt on top. Trainers and a denim jacket and she was ready to go, with her bowling shoes slung around her neck. Pushing cash into her pocket she was out by seven fifteen. A brisk walk and she was only ten minutes late at the bowling alley. Most of the gang were there already, some were hiring shoes and a few were putting their own on. Kate joined them, hugged a few and high fived others, then she too sat down to change her shoes. The late arrivals hurried in and everyone went to get a drink.

All settled for a soft drink, as they were all pretty competitive and took their bowling seriously. Dividing into their usual teams they took over three lanes, laughing and joking taking the mickey out of each other, making Kate feel totally relaxed. Then as she was sitting out, her phone rang. Checking who it was, she was surprised to see Damien’s name on her screen. He must have added his number to her contacts list.

  “Hi,” was all she said.

  “Hello Katherine.”

Kate got up and walked away from her friends and replied in a sexy voice “Hello master.”

“That’s better.” Damien purred. “I hear a lot of noise in the background, what are you doing?”

Kate’s devil jumped up and down shouting ‘Cheeky bugger, tell him it’s none of his business. ‘

“I’m ten pin bowling; I haven’t much time as it’s nearly my turn to bowl again.”

“I didn’t know you bowled.” Damien said in a softer tone.

“Yes I’ve bowled for years. How are you master?”

“Missing you in my library,” he growled.

Kate’s team were calling her over so she said “I’m sorry, I’m needed. Shall I call you later?”

“As long as it’s not too late, remember you need to have your eight hours when you’re not with me.”

“I remember master; I’ll call you before eleven, Ok?”

“Yes good, ‘till later then.” Damien rang off.

Kate drew in a deep breath, even his voice turned her on, then straightening her shoulders she rejoined her friends.

  Chapter 11

Kate walked into her flat at ten thirty five, made herself a cup of tea and curled up on her sofa. Picking up her phone she scrolled down her contacts, and there his number was. Her devil popped her head up but she pushed her down firmly and called him.

  “Hello Kate.”

‘Oh it was Kate now, was it.’ ‘Shut up!’ Then she replied “Hello, Damien.”

“Have you enjoyed yourself?” he asked.

“Yes it was nice to see my friends tonight; I also enjoyed working with Hermione and Tony today. Their client is Gem, the glamour model, her real name is Terri Jones and she’s lovely. Her house feels very cold, not homely at all and I think she needs that to recover from her divorce.” Kate said animatedly.

“Sounds as if you really liked her.” Damien commented.

“ Yes I did,” then shyly she said. “I empathized with her; I think we are very much alike.”

“Oh really,” was all Damien said.

Kate laughed, “Yes really. I don’t suppose you read the gossip columns but her husband has told the world that he was only unfaithful because she’s frigid. Although she had two children with him she doesn’t enjoy sex. It sounded very familiar to me. She is beautiful, clever and can look extremely sexy; I think she would be perfect for James.”

“James? You’re joking, isn’t she an Essex slapper?” Damien said cruelly.

“Yes, in the same way that I am a whore. One is what one has to be to make a living.” Kate snapped.

“Did you just snap at me Katherine?” he growled.

“Yes I did. I didn’t realise that you’re such a snob, or that I am on a lower level than you are.” Kate’s voice had risen.

Realising that she was really upset, Damien backed down. “Well if you think that James would really like her, and her him, then we must arrange a meeting.”

“Do you think that would be possible?”

“Of course it’s possible. We just invite them out to dinner, I’ll ask James and you ask Terri. We’ll talk about it on Wednesday.”

“Thank you, I do like her and want her to move on with her life.” Kate told him.

“Right, I’ll see you on Wednesday. Your dresses etc. will be dropped off tomorrow. Don’t wear any underwear.” Damien purred.

Kate gulped as her sex clenched. “Oh, yes master”

“You snapped at me Katherine, don’t add any more misdemeanours to my list. Goodnight.” And he was gone.

Kate’s little devil was running round in circles in her stomach shouting ‘Wimp, yes master no master.’

As she got ready for bed Kate was furious with herself for the feelings she got from just talking to him. She must get a grip, maybe the more familiar he became the less he’d affect her, she hoped so, feeling like a bitch on heat all the time was not comfortable.

Kate met Hermione at the DIY store at ten the next morning on the dot. Going into the store Hermione explained that they were there to collect paint and wallpaper samples. She wanted Kate to buy what she thought would look right in Terri’s house and didn’t want to influence her at all. They’d shop separately and meet up at the till so that Hermione could pay for it all. She allowed forty five minutes for Kate to browse. Kate was in her element, she’d brought her notebook so had a good idea what she was looking for. She picked up lots of paint samples and had fun looking at the wallpapers and cutting pieces off from the ones she thought Terri would like. Then she wandered over to the lighting section and took photographs of the lights she thought wou
ld go with her designs. She also looked at box pictures and took photographs of the ones she liked.

All that she’d bought fitted easily into a hand basket and she was surprised when she got to the checkout to find that Hermione had a trolley full. As well as samples of paint and wallpaper she had lights, lampshades, a couple of rugs and a selection of cushions.

“Is that all you’ve got?” she queried when Kate placed her basket on the counter.

“Yes, but I’ve taken lots of photos.” Kate told her.

“I find the customers like to feel things. Never mind we’ll go to the wholesalers next.”

Once they’d paid and loaded the car, it was gone eleven, and Hermione declared that they needed a cup of coffee. Finding a coffee shop Hermione skilfully manoeuvred the large car into a tight parking space. They found a table and ordered large lattes and Hermione insisted on cake, she had a large piece of coffee and walnut cake and Kate had a meringue.

“It’s lovely to see a young woman who enjoys her food and isn’t forever dieting.” Hermione commented.

“I suppose I’m lucky, I don’t have to worry about my weigh,” Kate said, then she laughed. “And I need to eat to keep my strength up to cope with Damien.”

Hermione looked at her seriously. “I may be talking out of line, but I wonder if you know what you are getting into. Please don’t take offence; I’m only speaking out because both Tony and I like you. You’re a beautiful, intelligent, kind young woman and I would hate to see you hurt.”

Kate smiled at her “I won’t take offence, and thank you for the compliment. I like you and Tony too, but I’m perfectly aware what I’ve got into. I’m not as young and naive as you think I am, and I’m capable of taking care of myself. However I’d love to keep you both as friends, if or when Damien and I part company.”

“Damien is a force majeure, and he has left a bunch of broken hearts behind him. I don’t know if you realise that he never falls in love. It’s just about dominance and sex to him.” Hermione pursed her lips together. “I’m probably saying too much, but please don’t fall in love with him. He loses interest when women show that weakness.”
