“How? How did you manage to do this?”
“Ethan put up the money for us to buy it, we are going to run it. So he won’t need to get back in the ring and fight again. He will need recovery time and by the time he is fit enough, we will need to get in here and sort this place out.”
“This was your idea?”
“Yeah, I could see what it was doing to you, Jacob fighting. I know Bonnie doesn’t like it either, but she wouldn’t tell me as she knows how much I love it.”
“Are you going to still fight?”
“Only in here, to train. I will get Matt in with us, too. No more illegal fighting for any of us. If he’s going to date my sister, he needs a legal job after college.”
“He’s dating Jamie-Lee?”
“Not officially, but when Bonnie kicks me out of bed to get her ice cream I hear them talking and stuff in her room.”
“Oh my God, that’s amazing. I’ve always thought they had a connection. It’s the way they look at each other.”
“Whatever. So you can’t leave my brother…” I didn’t really want to talk about my sister and Matt, whether they had something between them or not.
“Leave him? No, I wouldn’t, I was just upset. Oh my God, do you think he thinks I’m leaving him?”
“You sounded pretty harsh.” I had to be honest with her.
“Joseph, get me back to that hospital, now. I have to see him, to tell him I’m not leaving.”
“Ok, but you can’t tell him about this place. I wanna clean it up a bit before I show him. Promise?”
“Yeah, I promise, let’s go.”
Ping.
“Is that your phone?” I asked her.
“No, I’ve lost it. Somehow.” She threw her arms up in the air in frustration. I pulled my phone out of my pocket. It was Bonnie.
Jacobs gone for his scan. Jamie-Lee is in labour. Where are you? x
Rose is upset. We are on the way back. Love you x
“We gotta go, Jacob has gone for his scan and J-Lee is having the baby.”
“Oh no, is it too early?” Rose asked, rushing out of the door while I turned out the lights and locked up.
“She’s thirty six weeks, from all the baby books I’ve read, the baby would be fully developed by now.”
“You’ve been reading baby books?” Rose laughed.
“Yeah, I have to be prepared for my little princess.” I winked at her and she laughed again. “That’s a better sound than crying. Let’s get back to see everyone.”
Chapter 29
Bonnie
“Sweetness?” I heard Joseph call out, I looked behind me to see he was walking towards me with Rose. “You ok?”
“Yeah, I’m fine. J-Lee has started pushing.” I explained to them.
“Where’s Matt?” Rose asked.
“In there with her.”
“So, are they a couple or something?” Joseph asked.
“I’m guessing by the end of the day, they will be. She asked him to stay with her. How’s Jacob?”
“He’s still having his scan. I’m going to go to his room and wait for him.” Rose said. I nodded my head and Joseph pulled me close to his body.
“Are you ok?” He asked, running his hand over my back. I nodded. “You should sit down.” We walked over to some chairs that were outside of Jamie-Lee’s room. We sat in silence for a few minutes and I jumped when I heard her scream.
“Oh God. It’s going to hurt me isn’t it? Getting this one out?” I rubbed my hand over my belly and I felt her move.
“It will all be worth it, sweetness, when she is laying in your arms you will forget all about it.”
A few minutes later we heard a baby crying and we both stood up. “She’s here.” I excitedly said.
“Sounds like it. Lots of sleepless nights coming our way.” He chuckled.
“Just think of it as practice.” He pulled me close and kissed me. I broke the kiss when I heard the door open. Matt walked out with a big smile on his face.
“They’re both fine. Jamie-Lee is just getting cleaned up and then you can come in.” We both nodded and Matt went back into the room. I grabbed my phone to send Rose a text.
Baby is here x
Jacob has just come back, he is allowed up if he stays in a wheelchair. We won’t be long x
“Rose and Jacob are on their way up here.”
“Oh, good.”
“So, are you going to tell me where you took Rose earlier?” I placed my hands on his chest and looked up at him.
“Not yet, I want it to be a surprise.” He kissed me and I heard the door open again.
“Every time I open this door you two are lip locked.” Matt chuckled. “You wanna come in and meet your niece?” We both nodded. Matt held the door open and I walked up to see a tiny baby in a pink blanket.
“How you feeling?” I asked Jamie-Lee as I hugged her.
“Great.”
“Hey sis, you did great, she’s beautiful.” Joseph said, running his finger over the little girl’s face.
“I couldn’t have done it without, Matt.” She beamed over to him. “Are you guys ok with this? If we try the dating thing? Though, I’m not sure how easy it will be with a newborn baby.”
“If you’re happy, we’re happy.” Joseph told her. She looked relieved that it wouldn’t be a problem.
“Hey, room for two more?” Rose asked as she pushed Jacob in, he didn’t look happy about being in a wheelchair.
“Come on in.” Jamie-Lee said and once we were all around her she carried on with. “Everyone, I would like you to meet Harper. Seven pound two ounces.”
“Harper, I love that name.” I squealed.
“Oh, was you going to use it?” She asked, looking worried.
“No, we have our name picked out.” Joseph said, kissing me on the side of my head.
“Oh, what is it? And why haven’t you told me?” Rose asked.
“Because, sis, we are going to wait until she’s here.” Joseph explained.
“Who wants to hold her first?” Jamie-Lee asked, holding her up to us.
“Me, me, me!” I cradled her in my arms just above my baby bump. “Oh my God, she’s so pretty.”
“My turn.” Rose said as she waited for me to hand her over. I didn’t want to let go of her. “Come on, you can spend lots of time with her when you get home.”
“Alright.” I passed Harper over to Rose and I saw a look that said it wouldn’t be long until she had one. “How you feeling Jacob?”
“Fine, I should be able to go home in a couple of hours. Scan was all clear. Now, I just need to rest for a few days.”
“Weeks.” Rose corrected him. “You will be recovering for a couple of weeks.”
“Yeah, yeah. Hand over the baby.” He told her. Once everyone had had a cuddle with her, we left Jamie-Lee, Harper and Matt in peace.
***
“Hey, what you doing?” Joseph asked as he walked into Jamie-Lee’s room.
“I’m just getting the cot ready and making sure the changing table is stocked with everything she needs. A lot of Harper’s clothes were still in the bags, so I was just sorting them out.”
“You’re meant to be taking it easy yourself.” He said, wrapping his arms around me from behind.
“I just want it all to be ready for her.”
“Hey, what’s going on?” We turned around to see Matt stood in the doorway.
“Why aren’t you at the hospital?” Joseph asked.
“Visiting hours are over. They wouldn’t let me stay. I’m gonna get some sleep and take a change of clothes for J-Lee tomorrow. Then I can bring them home.”
“Don’t forget to take J-Lee’s car. It has the baby seat in it already.” I reminded him, he nodded.
“So, you and my sister huh?”
“Yeah, I hope you don’t mind?”
“How long has it been going on?” Matt looked worried.
“Not long, we got closer when she moved in. We spent a lot of time togethe
r and I really like her, man.”
“Did you talk to her at the hospital about everything?” I asked.
“Yeah, it distracted her from the pain. I decided to lay it all out there, tell her how I felt and she felt the same. We both agreed that a relationship was going to be difficult with a newborn baby, but it’s what we both want.”
“You don’t mind that Harper is someone else’s?” Joseph asked.
“No, man, I will always treat her like mine, if that’s what J-Lee wants.”
“Is that what you want?” He asked. Matt nodded. “Did she tell you who the father is?”
“No, she still won’t talk about it.”
“I’m glad you’re gonna be there for her.” I told him. “I’m exhausted.”
“I told you to take it easy.” Joseph said.
“Yeah, yeah. Come and help me into a bath, will you?”
“Sure, sweetness. Do you want me to come to the hospital with you tomorrow?” He asked Matt.
“No, I got it. Goodnight.”
“Night, dude.” Joseph slapped him on the back and followed me into the bathroom.
Joseph started filling the bath tub while I stripped out of my clothes.
“Mmm, you sure you don’t wanna go straight to bed?” He smirked.
“No, I’m aching…”
“Me too, sweetness.” He interrupted as he adjusted himself.
“I’m aching all over and need to relax. Besides, I don’t look sexy.”
“You are very sexy.” He told me as he pulled me closer to his body.
“I can’t see my feet anymore and I’m all hairy. I had to book into a beauty salon to get waxed.”
“Is that what’s bothering you?” He asked as he held my hand and I lowered down into the water.
“Yeah, I don’t like it. I’m always clean shaven down there. Waxing is gonna hurt.” I sulked. I watched as he started stripping his clothes off. “What are you doing?”
“I’m joining you in the bath.”
“Joseph, there’s no room.” I sat up as he climbed in and then before I knew it he had lifted me up to sit on the end of the bath tub. “What are you doing? I’m cold.”
“Lean against the wall and spread your legs.”
“We can’t do it from this angle.” I complained. He picked up my razor and shaving gel and pushed my legs apart.
“If my girl wants to be clean shaven, then she will be.” He rubbed shaving gel all over my mound and lips and I thought I was going to orgasm right then. This would be torture, him touching me like that.
“Joseph, this isn’t helping.” I moaned.
“Don’t worry, I’ll sort you out after this.” He winked at me. He took his time, I knew he was being careful but I was convinced it was because he liked to tease me. “Give me your hand.” I placed my hand in his and he led it down to my pussy. “Did I do a good job?” I was very smooth.
“Yes. Thank you. Now, get out of my bath.” I demanded, sliding back down into the water.
“Oh no, you’re coming with me, I need to do the tongue test.” He lifted me out of the bath and placed me on my feet.
“The tongue test?” I had no idea what he was going on about.
“Yeah, I have to trace my tongue all around here.” He ran his finger over my pussy. “To see how well I done.”
I laughed. “If you wanna lick me, you don’t have to make up silly things like that. You know I love it.”
“Get your sexy ass in that bedroom then.” He swatted me with the towel and I walked slowly towards the bed and climbed onto it. I was in a kneeling position, about to turn over when he held onto my hips. “Stay just like that.” He didn’t waste any time and before I knew it his tongue was on me.
Chapter 30
Bonnie
It had been a busy six weeks, Harper was growing quickly and Jamie-Lee took to motherhood like she was a pro. I hoped I would be that great. It was good to have a baby to practice on before our little one arrived. I had five weeks left and was truly fed up. Jamie-Lee had shrunk back to her normal size in no time at all, though she assured me she is still bigger then she was originally. You couldn’t tell from looking at her. I walked into the kitchen and Matt had Harper in his arms, he was cooing over her and she stared at him with such interest.
“Hey, where’s J-Lee?” I asked as I searched for something quick to eat. The only thing that I wanted was ice cream.
“She’s taking a shower. You ok? You look tired.”
“Gee, thanks.” He sure knew how to make me feel good. “Where’s Joe?”
“He went out for a run. He should be back soon.” He looked over his shoulder as the door opened. “Speak of the devil.” Joseph walked into the kitchen using the bottom of his t-shirt to wipe the sweat off his face. Showing me a quick glimpse of his sexy abs.
“How’s Uncle Joseph’s favourite girl?” He asked, kissing Harper on the head. “Whoa, what’s that smell?”
“Has Harper filled her nappy for Uncle Joe?” Matt asked in his baby voice.
“Oh no, I’m all hot and sweaty.” I laughed behind him and he turned around to look at me. “What are you eating? I thought you agreed to eat proper meals? Not ice cream for breakfast.”
“I needed something quick and you weren’t here to cook for me.” I told him. He pulled the ice cream away from me.
“Go and sit down and I will make you something. What do you want?”
“Ice cream.” I folded my arms over my chest and pouted. He looked at me, eyebrows raised. “Fine, eggs, bacon and toast, please.” He nodded and gathered all the ingredients together and started cooking.
“I’m gonna go change her nappy.” Matt announced as he stood up with Harper.
“Does she need changing again already?” Jamie-Lee asked as she walked into the kitchen. Matt pulled her towards him and kissed her. She held onto the back of his head and before long, Harper started fussing. “She always wants your attention.”
“She wants her nappy changing.” He told her.
“She wants you all to herself.” She giggled. “Who thought my own daughter would be a cock block between me and her Daddy.”
“I’ll be back in a min.” He kissed her quickly and walked off towards their bedroom.
“You want some breakfast, sis?”
“Yes, please. I’m starving.” She sat opposite me at the table. “What’s up with you?”
“He took away my ice cream.” She laughed and so did Joseph.
“What are you guys up to today?” Jamie-Lee asked.
“I’m taking Bonnie somewhere after breakfast.” He said.
“You are?” I asked. I didn’t know anything about that. “Where are we going?”
“I’ve got something to show you.” He was being mysterious and I was excited to see what he was talking about.
“So, how’s it going with Matt? That’s the first time I’ve heard you call him Daddy.”
“I call him that when we are around Harper as I want her to know that that’s who he is. We have this bond and closeness and I can’t imagine him never being in my life. I’d be broken without him.”
“I know the feeling.” I said as I glanced at Joseph. “I’m glad you’re happy.”
“I am. I really am.”
“Here we go ladies.” Joseph placed breakfast down in front of us and we began eating.
“Mmm, this is delicious.” I said.
“Better then ice cream?” He asked, smiling.
I shook my head. “Your daughter wanted ice cream.” He laughed.
“I’m going to grab a quick shower and then we will take off. Ok?” I nodded as I shovelled the food into my mouth. He walked away and I took a sip of my orange juice.
“Have you slept together yet?”
“What?” Jamie-Lee sounded shocked that I’d asked. “Um…”
“Well? You are meant to wait six weeks. Harper is six weeks old. Did you wait?”
“No.” She shook her head and took a bite out of her toast.
/>
“How was it? Did it feel different after having a baby?”
“You’ll soon find out.” She laughed.
“Is it weird me asking?” Did she feel uncomfortable talking to me about it as I knew what Matt was like in bed?
“No, you just caught me by surprise, that’s all.” She got up and placed her dishes in the sink. “It was amazing though.”
“Really? How long did you wait?”
“Four weeks. It was long enough really, considering we’d been intimate for months.”
“You never had sex while you were pregnant?” She shook her head.
“Wow, he must have really liked you.” I laughed.
“What’s funny?” Matt asked as he walked back in with Harper. “Someone’s hungry.” He passed her to Jamie-Lee.
“Are you hungry baby girl?” Jamie-Lee asked her as she sat on a chair and started breast feeding her.
“So, what was funny?” Matt asked again.
“You ready, sweetness?” Joseph called out.
“I’m coming.” I looked at Jamie-Lee and smiled. She had to explain to Matt what was funny. As I walked away, I heard her say;
“It was nothing, babe. She will be asleep in a minute and we’ll have the place to ourselves.” I looked over my shoulder and saw him lean in to kiss her. I laughed at how she used sex to steer the conversation into another direction.

Joseph
I pulled up outside of the gym. Jacob and I had been cleaning it up and I was eager to show Bonnie what we had done. I hadn’t mentioned anything about it yet. We had finished college a couple weeks ago and Bonnie was on at me to decide what I wanted to do with my career.
“Where are we?” Bonnie asked as I unlocked the doors.
“This, sweetness, is our future.” I pushed the doors open and held her hand, leading her inside. We had cleaned, painted and restored all the old equipment.
“A gym?” She asked, confused.
