“Hey there, mister, am I boring you? Because I can always take care of myself if I am.”
He looked down upon her perfect naked body, brought back from his remembering to see that her free hand had slipped down between her own thighs. Her fingers moved expertly in perfect little teasing circles and all the while her eyes never left his.
Shit, if he thought he was turned on before he didn’t even know what word would explain the way he was feeling now. It was like he would die if he didn’t push himself inside of her and growling in a feral kind of a way he flipped her on top of him. She straddled him, hovering just above reach and taking one of his hands in her own, placing it on her breasts and moaning when his thumb began to move roughly over nipples hard enough to break glass.
Her head tossed back and eyes shut tight, hair messy from sleep that had only recently been abandoned. She looked like a goddess to him and he could wait no more. He took himself in his hand and guided his throbbing organ inside of her, moaned again as he felt her clench around him. Her body rocked forward, her breasts grazing his chest, and she started to move her hips slowly, so slowly, her eyes once again upon his face.
“Is this what you want?” she whispered, her voice fierce and so full of power and life.
“You,” he groaned with ferocity to match, “I want you. For the rest of our days, you.”
She nodded and at the same time, the movement of her hips sped up, his own coming up off the bed to match. He snaked his hand down between their writhing bodies and found her clit, his fingers moving just as surely there as her own had just a moment ago.
He loved this body so much, had memorized everything about it, and that included the motions that would make her scream. His fingers worked their magic, her hands coming down on his chest and leaving what she would later notice were impressively long scratches there. Her breath sped up and he could hear the beating of her heart inside of her chest.
Once upon a time the smell and sound of her blood would have sent him into a feeding frenzy. That was no longer the case. She had helped him to control his hunger and when he needed to feed she was able to manufacture blood for him with her sorcery. She was a very strong witch indeed, the strongest the world had ever seen, and her powers grew every day.
Her ancestor schooled her, the one whose spirit lived inside of her. According to Caroline’s books and Antoine’s memories, it was the good witch who had been known only by the name Songbird when she had been destroyed by the dark contingency of witches at the time of the coven’s split.
The Songbird’s body had perished but her spirit had lived on, dormant and waiting for the witch who would change the tides. That witch was Megan and now the two of them were merged, giving Megan deep wells of untapped power and the ability to live forever without ever having to harm a soul. It was her purity that gave her that, something that Philip was still in awe of.
“Oh god.” Megan gasped, her head rocking from side to side and her hands moving behind her to grab his legs for extra leverage. “Philip, it’s coming. I’m going to come!”
Her body began to shake, to close even tighter around his thrusting member, and he watched her face, waiting for that moment of release. He saw her eyes roll into the back of her head, heard her let out a scream as her whole body shook helplessly, and with one final thrust he allowed himself his own release.
He felt the weightlessness that release always gave him with her, like he had momentarily defied gravity. He saw the little bursting stars behind his closed lids and the two of them rocked that way together until the last aftershock of their pleasure finally subsided.
Very shortly the two of them would get out of bed. They would give Caroline a call, see what was new with the order.
Celia being gone went a long way towards making things safer but she had been far from the only evil thing in the world. There was still plenty of work for the order to do and Philip and Megan gladly did their part.
They would do it on this day, too. But first he would hold her for just a little while longer. He would hold her and thank whatever gods resided in heaven above for the privilege of having her belong to him and him to her.
