Diminished (Winter's Wrath Book 2)

He was…
She pulled her bottom lip between her teeth, watching Brave as he slid his lips over Malakai’s dick, taking him in deep as words became meaningless. They couldn’t explain why the three of them fit so perfectly. And they didn’t have to.
Seeing the men together kept her on that sweet edge, as though they were all hovering there together. Impatience dwindled away as she watched Malakai bury his hands in Brave’s hair, moving with each glide over his dick. When Brave slipped away, the muscles in her stomach tensed even as Malakai cursed.
Every pause was painful. But when she saw the condom in Brave’s hand her whole body lit up. Her feet shifted restlessly on the bed when he rolled the thin latex over Malakai’s dick.
Kicking his pants aside, Malakai eased away from Brave and climbed onto the bed, covering her with his body and taking her mouth in a deep, hungry kiss. She dug her nails into his shoulders, her breath catching as his hard length pressed against her stomach. Thick and hot, just feeling him against her turned up the volume of arousal until her brain couldn’t process anything else.
Shameless, she reached down in the small space between them and wrapped her hand around his dick. He sucked in a breath as she gripped him loosely, sliding her hand from the base of his cock, up over the firm crown. She took her time there, exploring the indent with her thumb, eyes on his face as he inhaled sharply.
His lips curved slightly. “Payback?”
“No, I just wanted to feel you.” She grinned, enjoying his reaction to her fingers and thumb tightening around him. A fine sheen of sweat had formed on his skin and she leaned up to kiss his jaw. “I didn’t get a chance to do this with Brave. Tate was—”
“Move your hand faster, little moon. He fucking loves it.” Brave knelt on the edge of the bed, smoothing his hand down Malakai’s back when he tensed. “This is a conversation for another time.”
“But one we will be having.” Malakai’s jaw tensed, then relaxed as Shiori followed Brave’s advice and stroked him faster. He shook his head and chuckled. “I’m not sure how I feel about you two ganging up on me.”
“Hmm, maybe this will help.” Brave nudged Malakai up and bent between him and Shiori. His lips wrapped around the head of Malakai’s dick and he moved with the motion of Shiori’s hand.
Pulling her hand away, Brave turned his head and slipped his tongue over her clit. He kissed her pussy like he kissed her lips, so thorough he woke nerves beneath her slick flesh she didn’t know she had. Just before she was about to beg for…for hell, she wasn’t even sure anymore…he stopped.
And took Malakai in deep one last time before shifting so he could guide Malakai’s dick to her.
“Oh fuck.” Malakai looked down, breathing hard as Brave stroked her with his cock. “You’re driving me insane.”
Shiori licked her lips, the sensation of Brave rubbing that hard length over her not helping her sanity much either. Would it be pathetic to beg again?
“Take her, Malakai.” Brave positioned Malakai against her so the head of Malakai’s dick pressed in slightly with each breath. “She’s ready. I want to see that beautiful pussy wrapped around you.”
Lowering one hand to the bed by her hip, Malakai pressed in. The stretch was uncomfortable at first, but he glided easily in the slickness of her body. She moaned as more of him filled her until Brave’s fist covered her, adding to the stimulation. Her tender clit throbbed under his first knuckle and the way he moved his hand increased the pleasure. She couldn’t help moving with him, which made the thick length inside her slip in and out, but only enough to make her want more.
Almost as though he’d read her mind, Brave drew his hand away. And Malakai sank in deeper. He hesitated as the stretch became uncomfortable and brushed his fingers through her hair, his eyes searching hers.
“I don’t want to hurt you.” He rocked his hips carefully, frowning when she winced at the growing ache. “If it’s too much, don’t be afraid to tell me.”
Even if she’d had the slightest bit of uncertainty—which she didn’t—his concern would have drowned it out. Losing her virginity hadn’t seemed like a huge deal, just something she hadn’t done yet.
Now, she couldn’t imagine losing it any other way. Lips parted, she inhaled slowly, glancing over at Brave who was gently stroking her thigh. They both treated her like she was precious. Whether they could have forever or not, they could have this. Something she could share with them, without regrets.
“I’d tell you anything, Malakai. I’m okay, I promise.” She whimpered as he pressed in. The ache sharpened. Then he settled between her thighs, filling her completely. Her eyes teared as her body tightened around him. “Oww.”
He kissed her again. “Do you want me to move?”
“Damn it, give her a fucking minute.” Brave shifted up the bed, brushing a strand of sweat dampened her from her cheek. “You could have warned her.”
“I did.”
“‘I’m okay’ isn’t a fucking green light.”
“Then what would you call it?”
I am going to slap them both. She rolled her eyes, bringing her hands up to cover both their mouths. “Nope. We’re not doing this now. You two can hate-fuck and make up later.”
The men exchanged a look and the hostility between them vanished.
“What do you need, love?” Malakai’s tongue traced her bottom lip. He drew out, then slid back in, shifting the ache into liquid pleasure so quickly she gasped. “Does that feel good?”
“Mmmhmm.” Her eyes drifted shut as he moved again, slowly, carefully, at a steady pace that renewed her arousal so quickly the pain did nothing but give a sharp edge to the exquisite sensation. The languid drag of his dick passed over a spot within that sent a white-hot current through her core. Her whole body tensed, gripping him tight.
He gave her a lazy smile, bringing his lips close to her ear. “Baby, we’re just getting started.”
Rising up, he angled his hips, curved his hands under her ass, and targeted that same euphoric spot like she’d revealed the secret to her every desire. Brave relaxed on his side, sliding his hand down her stomach, kissing her as his fingers parted at either side of her clit.
He stroked the tiny, overstimulated nub lightly, which lit all the nerves like a spark had been set off from one to the other, shooting inward to gather with the building pressure in her core. She panted against his lips, whimpering as her skin tingled and her nipples tightened. She brought one hand up, squeezing one breast.
Brave lowered his lips to the other, sucking her nipple, his tongue circling it over and over until the sensation pulsed down to her clit, to her core.
Everything wound together, inside and out, and she bit back a cry as reality fragmented, electric surges of white flashing through her, blinding her as she came apart. Lips shaking, her back bowed and she writhed as all the shattered pieces snapped into place, melting together like blazing bits of steel.
All the muscles within convulsed, keeping time with the rapid beat of her heart. Her bones liquefied as the aftershock drew another shudder from her. The air she sucked into her lungs became damp. Hot. The scent of sweat, a musky masculine aroma surrounded her. She soaked it in, letting it steady her as the world righted itself.
Her vision cleared and she looked up at Malakai, who’d gone perfectly still. By her side, Brave murmured softly, stroking her hair.
She smiled, turning her cheek into Brave’s hand. “Wow.”
All right, that didn’t cover how amazing that had been, but she didn’t have the strength for more.
Brave grinned and kissed her cheek. “You’re happy. Good. I don’t have to kill him.”
Malakai chuckled and began easing out of her. “That’s good to kn—”
“Not yet…please...” She clenched her thighs against his hips as her core throbbed with pain. “Wait.”
Eyes narrowed, Brave glared at Malakai. “Maybe I spoke too soon.”
Shiori weakly smacked her hand into his bar
e chest. “Stop it. It felt so good I wasn’t expecting that to change.”
Brave’s expression softened. “Take your time. He’s not still hard, is he?”
“I don’t know…” She frowned as she realized Malakai still felt huge inside her. Had he enjoyed himself at all? Bad enough Brave had been mostly left out.
Malakai wrapped his arms around her waist, turning so she lay on top of him, his length still inside her. “I came with you, Shiori. I couldn’t hold back.” He glanced over at Brave. “And I’m usually quite good at that.”
Jaw ticking, Brave stood. “I’ll go get a warm wash cloth. Try not to rush her.”
“I won’t.” Malakai watched him leave, his eyes hard.
Shiori rested her head on Malakai’s shoulder and sighed. Fine, she hadn’t expected the bad blood between the men to disappear overnight, but they’d gotten together before she’d even considered being with either of them. Was she making things worse?
A deep sound rumbled through Malakai’s chest. “I can practically hear you worrying, my love. This isn’t your fault. Brave and I return to default when we don’t have control. We both want to protect you. It’s easier to get mad at each other than admit we couldn’t make this perfect for you.”
She wrinkled her nose, pressing her hands against his chest and easing up. His dick slipped free and she tensed, but it wasn’t that bad. Sore, but she could deal. “It was perfect. I don’t regret a thing. I wanted to share this with you. But now I want to know you’re as happy as I am. Tomorrow might be rough. There’s so much we have to figure out. Tonight… Tonight is ours.”
Halfway across the room with a washcloth in his hand, Brave stopped and groaned. “Fuck, I’m an idiot. I’m sorry. I kept wondering if I’d done the right thing. If I should have… I couldn’t have been as gentle as he was. I would have tried, but…” He rubbed a hand over his face and shrugged. “I trust him more than I trust myself.”
Malakai’s lips curved. He met Brave’s eyes. “Thank you. But I would have trusted you too. And she trusts us both. In the end, that’s all that matters.”
“You’re right.” Brave approached the bed, a crooked smile on his lips. “Truce?”
“Truce.”
Yep, I’m gonna have to hurt them. “Better be more than a truce. I may need a few days.”
“We can wait.” Brave glanced over at Malakai, who inclined his head. “Seriously, Shiori. Men don’t die if they don’t get off. That’s fake news.”
Shiori snickered, not sure what to make of that comment. ‘Fake news’ was often facts people didn’t like. Did that mean she could condemn both her men to a slow death if she agreed?
No need to risk it. Besides, she had absolutely no problem with them satisfying one another, so long as she got to watch sometimes. She arched a brow at Brave as he perched on the edge of the bed, cleaning her thigh with the washcloth.
Better to tease him than focus on the mess she’d made. Her cheeks heated, but she had a feeling he didn’t want her to be ashamed of it. “I don’t want you to wait. I need visuals for when I touch myself.”
“Now that we can do.” Malakai lifted up, pulling the sheet out from under him and folding it over a dark patch of blood. He continued without pause. “I plan to save our man shortly. We wouldn’t want to test his theory.”
“True.” Her lips slid into a mischievous smile. “Besides, I can’t take…someone else up on their offer to teach me how to give a blowjob.”
Brave’s eyes widened. He gave her inner thigh a playful smack. “You’re bad. Stop that. He doesn’t joke about Tate.”
Slapping a hand over his eyes, Malakai cursed. “She didn’t say it was Tate. You did.”
“I…” Brave pressed his eyes shut and tipped his head back. “Damn. Sorry.”
“Uh huh.” Malakai shook his head and placed his hand on her back. “I can pour you a bath if you want. Help you clean up while Brave calls for clean sheets?”
Her throat tightened. Tamping down an unexpected rush of panic, she shook her head. “No, I’ll take a quick shower.” She eyed the sheets. She couldn’t see the blood anymore, but she knew it was there. She didn’t like the idea of some poor maid having to deal with it. “Maybe I can rinse the sheets a little? Call for new ones, but I can’t—”
“I can do it.” Brave’s brow furrowed when she shook her head again. “Shiori, it’s okay. You shouldn’t be embarrassed.”
“I’m not.” She had to cut this conversation short. Climbing off Malakai, she slipped off the bed. “It would make me feel better. Like, if I had my period—”
“Got it.” Brave’s cheeks reddened. He stepped back as Malakai got up and stripped the bed. “But when the bed is fixed, will you let us stay?”
Gathering the sheets in her arms, she smiled at him. “I hoped you would.”
He inclined his head. “Then we aren’t going anywhere.”
Chapter Twenty-Four
Long after the morning sun crept through the small slit in the curtains of the hotel room, Brave lay awake, head rested on a folded pillow, watching Shiori and Malakai sleep. The night had gone well—he thought so anyway. After the bed was freshly made, and Shiori finished her shower, Malakai had cleaned up quickly and they’d all curled up together, murmuring goodnight as they closed their eyes.
Halfway through the night. Malakai woke him with a long, slow blowjob, torturing him while Shiori sleepily watched, nodding as Malakai gave her a few tips. She’d set Brave off the second she’d suggested joining in. Even though she’d fallen asleep seconds after her offer, he’d been laid out by Malakai’s attention and her eagerness.
He wasn’t sure he’d ever had a more restful night. Been more excited about the future. And not because of all the wicked, erotic fantasies he imagined playing out. Being with Shiori and Malakai was like laying the foundation to the first home he could truly call his own. He couldn’t wait to see what they’d build together.
But first, he needed to know where Shiori’s panicked look had come from. Remembering the brief instant of fear in her eyes cast a shadow over her glow of happiness. Malakai suggesting a bath scared her. And not like she was scared of him. Thinking back on his time with Jesse, Brave recognized a trigger. One he’d ignored with the man his brother loved. Which had been fucked up, but he had to live with his actions.
He wouldn’t make the same mistake again, but he had to figure out what exactly had happened to make the suggestion so horrible for Shiori.
And he didn’t have the first clue how.
A faint buzz came from the side of the bed where he’d dropped his robe. Easing his arm out from under Shiori’s head, he held still, watching her press closer to Malakai, her deep breaths steady.
Reaching down, he plucked his phone from the pocket of his robe and headed to the living room, shutting the bedroom door softly behind him as he answered.
“Hello?”
“Brave? It’s Dariel.” The cocky violinist sounded relaxed, as though he hadn’t let the phone ring a dozen times. “It’s almost noon, so I figured it was a good time to call, but you sound like you just woke up.”
“I did, but it’s fine. One good thing about this lifestyle is you don’t usually do nine to five.”
“I haven’t had a regular schedule since I was in the military, so I’m good with that.” Dariel chuckled. “You awake enough to talk business?”
“Always.” Brave headed to the wet bar to put on the coffee maker. “What’s up?”
“The offer to meet the band still on the table?” Dariel cleared his throat. “I’m not making any promises, but I’d like to swing by. Maybe talk to your manager. Hear the offer.”
“Cool, but let’s do one better. I can have Reese send you a copy of the contract to look over within the hour. You’ll get the same offer we all have. I’m working on a song and I want the guys to hear it with you playing along. Come for rehearsal. See what we can be together.” Brave took a deep breath, knowing he was pushing the man, but he needed Darie
l to commit. He would do whatever it took to convince him he belonged with Winter’s Wrath. “We’re going to Europe in a month. I want you with us.”
“Fuck.” Dariel sighed. “It’s fucking tempting, Brave. I want to say yes, but—”
“Sometimes opportunities come at you fast. I get this is crazy. You’ve had other offers and you turned them down. You were waiting for the right one.” Brave’s jaw tensed. Hell, this wasn’t his thing. Reese would have Dariel on board in a minute. But he didn’t want to have to convince them both. She might be hesitant if Dariel started playing hardball. Drama was her kryptonite. “This is the right one”
“You’re damn convincing. And you managed without sucking my dick. I’m impressed.” Dariel let out a soft laugh. “This is me being professional.”
“I can tell.” Brave snorted. “I ain’t gonna suck your dick. But I am giving you a chance to use your talent to get all the dick—or pussy—you could ever want.”
“I get that without you.”
“Can you get a music video? An album? A future with a band no one will ever forget?”
“No. And I didn’t believe I’d have that with the other offers.” A long pause. “I believe I can have it with you.”
“Good. Come in with that attitude and your only concern will be packing your shit to hit the road.” Brave looked up as soft footsteps approached. He smiled as Shiori slid up to his side. “Hang up and I’ll text you the address where we’re rehearsing. The music we’ll make together is gonna be fucking intense, man.”
Dariel chuckled. “No doubt about that. See you in a bit.”
Hanging up, Brave pulled Shiori into his arms and bent down to kiss her, savoring the sweet mint on her breath and the soft warmth of her lips. He’d never get tired of having her close.
Wrapping her hands around the back of his neck, she peered up at him, all cute and sleepy. “You’re in a good mood.”
“I really am. Dariel’s agreed to come meet the band. I think I can convince him to join. Coffee?” He grinned at her nod, eased away to send the text, then fill two mugs. “I wish you could’ve heard him on the violin. You will today. He’s absolutely perfect.”
