  We all stand in silence as we watch the lights dance across the sky.

  Words don’t need to be spoken. We all let go of something special to us tonight. We all let a piece of our past go.

  I like to think that as much as we are letting go, we are gaining more.

  “She’s free,” Bash says.

  I smile as we let go of what we lost.

  Holding tightly to Bash, I know she’s always with us. I know that no matter where we go, we are a family.
