Monroe, Marla - Forever and Always [Riverbend, Texas Heat 4] (Siren Publishing Ménage Everlasting) Page 18

by Marla Monroe

She snuggled into Paul’s back even as she pulled Justin’s arm tighter around her. This was what she had been craving—a home where she felt loved and needed. She wanted to be a part of them even as she helped make them into a family. She could do that without losing her independence with their help. Paul would constantly challenge her but not because he wanted to control her. She now knew he wanted only to take care of her and keep her safe. With Justin’s help, they would forge a compromise that would work for all three of them.

The feel of their skin against hers grounded her in the here and now. She felt as if without their touch she would float away with happiness. Lana kissed Paul’s shoulder and hugged him tighter.

“I love you, Paul. I need you so much.”

“Baby, you’re my life. I’ll always love you.”

“Justin, I love you, too. You make me so happy.”

“Lana, I don’t want to ever think about being without you. I love you.”

Paul turned back toward her and cupped her cheek in his hand. The love she saw in his eyes brought tears to hers.

“Marry us, Lana. Be our wife and let us love you for the rest of our lives.”

Justin squeezed her tighter. “You’ll marry Paul on paper and then we’ll have a ceremony with our friends where you marry us both. Say yes, baby.”

Lana turned to her back and gazed into Justin’s eyes then back to Paul. Her heart swelled with love. No doubts marred her mind as she smiled.

“Yes. I’ll marry you both. I love you both so much.”

They kissed her until she thought she would die for lack of oxygen, passing her back and forth between them until they finally fell asleep holding her.

She closed her eyes and promised herself that she would never doubt their love. If ever she had fears, she would go to them and talk to them about it. She trusted that their bond was forever. It had taken time for her to relax and accept that she had something to offer them other than her skills in the office. She had all of her love to give them, and in return, she took all of their love into her. Nothing could have ever prepared her for what to expect when two men set their sights on her, but right now, all she cared about was that they were all hers, forever and always.
