She looked like she was about to say something, probably object to me fucking her. But I didn't hesitate, I held her gaze and pistoned into her with a force that made the door shake.
“This,” I could barely hear her voice over the straining I was struggling with to stay together. “This is what you want?”
I pressed my brow to hers, trying to pin her against the door with my hips and eyes.
“I want you,” it came out as a snarl. “Not just fucking.”
I had been holding her to me, but I shifted my hands to hold her face. She looked like the fucking was starting to get to her, her eyes were rolling back and her eyelids fluttering closed. I patted a cheek, hooking my hips up so I was grinding on her clit.
“I fucking want you,” I admitted.
“You don't know me.”
Her fingers were digging into my shoulders, and her eyes clenched closed. She was close, the hold she had on my cock tightened to the point I saw stars.
“Easy to fix.”
I shifted my stance, trying to ride out the onslaught of her orgasm. I wasn’t going to last, there was just something about this woman that had me struggling on the edge of completion and wouldn’t let me hold it off. Even as she was quaking around me, I erupted in her and the chances of me staying on my feet slim. My knees started to buckle as she cried out and spasmed around me, I couldn’t stay up, so we slid down the door until I knelt with her still around me. I panted, sapped of everything I had.
“I want to know you,” it came out as a hoarse whisper.
Her fingers carefully carted through my hair, she was mindful of the bandage that took up the left side of my head.
“This wasn’t going to be just an easy screw,” she released a breath and guided me to rest on her shoulder. “I should have realized that.”
“Was there some kinda sign that said this wouldn’t be cut and dry?”
“No,” she pressed her lips to my temple, and I gave in, wrapping my arms around her middle. “It was more along the lines of there being this… this connection. Honestly,” she hummed. “I should have been terrified of you.”
“Why?” I rubbed my face along her shoulder, inhaling the smell of sweat, sex, and her.
“Because you were so closed off when we first met.” I listened intently, curious of her impression of me. I wanted to know what she thought if she felt like I did. If she wanted me like I wanted her. “You’re so beautiful, but it was as if you were untouchable.”
“You touched me,” I said, because she had. She touched me in a way I wasn’t prepared for.
“Have I?”
I pulled away and caught her chin, I was going to bite this bullet. I was going to admit this to her without shame and take what I already felt was mine.
“You,” I kept my voice low as our eyes connected. “Are mine. You belong to me from here on out.” I kept my tone even like there was no arguing my point. I don’t know what I would do if she decided to argue. “Do you understand?”
Her eyes went huge, brows drawing up and she made no move to shake my grip from her face. There was little room between us, our chests were pressed together. Hell, I was still buried in her sweet cunt. If she were going to try to push me away she would have to use a great deal of force.
“What does that mean?”
The question struck me, because I really didn’t know the answer to it. I still wasn’t sure if this feeling I had for her was love. I hadn’t felt it before.
“It means that there is no one else,” I could feel myself waiver as insecurity started to take hold of the confidence I felt before.
Her lips twitched before curving into a smile, “Okay.”
I felt like I was flooded with relief and I stood, pulling her up with me.
“Good,” I carried her without a problem to my bed. “Fuck all, I didn’t know what I was gonna do if you said no.” I laid her down and somehow managed to find a second wind.

Having a woman wrapped around me is bliss, being buried ball deep into her is even better. Waking up to all of it left me wondering if I were dreaming. I had my face buried in her silky hair, even though it was tangled. Her back was pressed against my chest, and I could only deduce that we had both passed out.
I wondered what had woken me up. Dylan was still asleep, snoring lightly. She was a heavy sleeper it seemed. I guess working graveyard in a hospital could do that. I sat up and looked around my bedroom, the room had lightened, and I couldn’t quite tell what had tugged me awake. I was comfortable tangled up with her, I shifted, and she murmured as I pulled out of her. I could easily go back to sleep.
Then, I heard it, my phone vibrating on the bedside table. It shook three times, paused then began again. I growled and rolled over to grab it. Wilson. I grunted and answered the phone, “Fuck off.”
“You fuck off,” he growled in response. “You were supposed to be up here for lunch. We’re working towards dinner now. Where the fuck are you?”
“I was asleep,” I sighed and stretched. “I had a long fucking night.”
“You didn’t get shot,” he argued.
“My head and shoulder argue,” I said cooly. “So, I did get shot, they were just off with their aim.”
“Are you coming up here or do I need to come to you to kick your ass?”
“Why?” The body next to me shifted, and she rolled so that she was leaning against the length of my right side. It was clue enough that she was awake.
“Full debrief with plans to be made. We have to prepare for guerilla warfare, they sure as shit ain't gonna play by the rule books we were trained by.”
“Figure out who we have that was a sniper, who had training. Do we have any hunters? Stop it before it starts,” it was a simple enough, we had people smart enough to do it with little evidence. If Martinez was able to cover up the confrontation from last night, he could handle taking out a whole club.
“Don't be a dumbass, get here,” Wilson barked as an order, then ended the call without further insult.
I dropped the phone on the bed and considered just staying here. Fingers traced the lines of muscles on my chest until they twitched getting the attention of another part of me.
“So,” her voice was soft and filled with trepidation. “The dangerous thing isn't just a look?”
“Didn't stop you from calling me up the first time,” I looked down at her. “Didn't stop you last time either.” I found her chin with my fingers and tilted her up to look at me. “Never heard you say stop, never heard you say no.”
I tugged her up close enough so I could taste her lips, not caring about the staleness. I kept it short because I was already hard from the feel of her body against mine, kissing her more would just distract me. Then I would need to be in her, and the conversation would get lost in the heat of the moment.
“You want me like I want you,” I phrased it like a statement though I didn't know for sure if she did.
She hummed lightly, making me feel on edge. Her fingers drifted up the lines of my neck, and over my jaw, her thumb slid over my lower lip. I could see the heat in her eyes now.
“Maybe I do.”
It would have been so easy to just fall for that look. To roll over onto her and plunge back into her tight hold. But, there was shit to do. I kissed her finger then shifted to drag my tongue along it.
“Time to get up,” I admitted not ready to let go of her.
Dylan’s lips twisted up, and she pulled away, “Yea, I have to get ready to go.”
I watched her get out of the bed, and the desire to keep her surged through me. I grabbed her when she started to get out of the bed.
“You're staying with me.”
“I'll have to get ready for work,” her protest sounded half-hearted.
“Now?” I got out of bed and tugged her in the direction of my bathroom. “Stay with me,” I didn't let her go. “You'll have time to get ready later.”
“And what will we do instead?”

I'll give you an idea about what I do,” I decided if she were going to be mine she needed to know. Hopefully, it wouldn't make a difference, and she'd accept the fact that she was mine. Because if she decided she didn't want me, I wasn't prepared for how I would react to it.

I brought Dylan to the Clubhouse. We were forced to ride in my truck, given that my bike was likely at the clubhouse. Her eyes seemed to take in everything about the drive, and her brows drew together when we started walking to the cinderblock building that made up the clubhouse. There were flags that flew outside to represent each branch.
“I’ve passed this place so many times,” she said in realization. “I thought it was Legion outpost or something.”
“That’s the point,” we walked into the lot. I went to my motorcycle to inspect it for damage. “There’s a front we put up for anyone that might pass by and give us a good enough look.”
“So,” she cleared her throat and seemed to struggle to look nonchalant. “You do illegal things?”
“You a cop?” I didn’t even look up, I heard the snort she made as I drug my fingers along the gas tank and even checked the leather of the saddlebags.
“Pretty sure you’re aware that I’m a nurse, I think patching up at least once should be proof enough,” she had a little bit of snark in her tone. “So, is this like the documentaries that they show on television about biker gangs?”
“That the shit you like to watch?”
She made a noise that I couldn’t help, but look up at. Her features were twisted up in annoyance, and she had her arms folded over her chest.
“No,” she said in a tone of voice that I couldn’t help, but chuckle at. “Is any of it true?” She eyed me with open curiosity.
I could only shrug when I straightened, satisfied with the treatment of my bike I went ahead and came to her.
“I’ve never watched that shit, so I don’t know. We’re all military, so our hierarchy is built off of that. We have a moral code that some might not have,” I took her hand. “We might do illegal things,” I decided to stay vague with her. “Sometimes when you ride around on a motorcycle with a patched up vest you might get shot at.”
“Or stabbed?”
I had almost forgotten about that, I still had the stitches in my side from it. I started leading her into the clubhouse, rolling a shoulder as I went.
“Yea, maybe,” I’d have to decide if I wanted to tell her why I got stabbed.
It was just after five, so the clubhouse was packed with guys that worked the garage. There were a few women floating around, old ladies that belonged to other members. When we walked in we got eyed, Dylan especially got the look over by the majority present. Surely if she hadn’t been next to me, there would have been catcalls, even with her in her scrubs from the night before. I made sure to give anyone looking at her too hard a dark scowl.
Her curiosity was evident with the way she looked around. While some of the older members sported the dirty biker look, there were others that were still shaking off the old military habits. Myself, I still preferred to be groomed though I let my hair grow longer on top than what was regulation. I wouldn’t let it go long, and I wasn’t keen on the idea of a shaggy beard. The scruff that had managed to grow after the last few weeks was due to being too busy bother with shaving. I tried to maintain myself.
I didn’t give her much time to look, I guided her back to the office where I knew Wilson and Tillman would be sulking. I gave the door a knock, and as soon as the call to enter, I went in first and tugged Dylan in behind me. I had the sudden need to hide her, even though I was bringing her in with me to make a statement. What that statement was I didn’t know, but I had a feeling it would get Wilson’s attention after the talk we had the night before.
“Cole,” Tillman grunted, looking at Dylan with a slight tilt of his head.
“It’s about fucking time,” Wilson grunted from behind the desk. He didn’t even acknowledge the woman behind me.
“Long road trip that ended in getting shot up,” I felt her hand tighten around mine. “I think I’m entitled to sleeping late.”
“I called you at,” he paused to glare at his phone. “Four eleven and it sounded like you were still asleep when you answered.”
“Should be obvious why,” Tillman nodded towards Dylan. “Life and death situations can make you need to reaffirm and celebrate the fact that you’re alive. Can’t blame the guy.”
I felt her stiffen against me, she had also drifted closer to me. “You wanted a debriefing?” Wilson’s eyes connected with mine and I got a nod, there wasn’t a reason to pussyfoot around with this anymore. “We got to Tony and Suzy’s without trouble. Van Cleave chatted them up so we could get a feel for what we were dealing with.”
“What they’d have to say about them?” Tillman asked, looking at me seriously.
“Rough fuckers, gave no shits about the community they were in and had no problems roughing up Tony. Didn’t get names for that, if they had known who did that I would be sure to level them out,” I rolled my uninjured shoulder because talking about it had the anger of it burning up my neck. “When we were on our way back is when they confronted us. They rode up along us and then directed us onto the shoulder where you found us. They were aggressive, and I’ll be honest, we were dicks.” I wouldn’t apologize for how we reacted, it had been a pissing contest. “They shot first, Van Cleave got hit first. I reacted and returned fire.” I kept it to the point, I felt the hand in my grip slacken as she listened. I wasn’t about to let her go though.
“Do they know where Tony and Suzy are?” Tillman asked, the concern evident on his features.
It was understandable, the people that we pushed product for were likable and older. It seemed shitty to mess with them. I shook my head, I didn’t know for sure if they did or not. But, I was sure that Tony’s paranoia would have likely clued us in if their compound had been found.
“If they did pretty sure Tony would be on the phone with us about it,” I paused not sure if either of them had been out there recently. “He’s got cameras to keep an eye out. He’d know before they got there.”
Tillman nodded and accepted my answer, giving the girl behind me a last look before looking to Wilson.
“So, how do we react to this?”
“I suggested we take them out before they become a bigger issue,” I offered. “We have men with experience in this shit. We have men that can cover it up, make it look like an inner dispute if we need to. They’re outmanned and outclassed. Why not stop it before it starts?”
I didn’t even consider how my words would be taken by the woman behind me. Her hand tried to slip from mine, but I tightened my hold and cast a glance back at her. Surprise looked back at me like she couldn’t comprehend what I had just said. I should have known it would be hard for her to understand.
“One of the things we want to avoid is something large and obvious,” Wilson said with an air of authority. “That could draw eyes back to us, no matter how we play it. Martinez is a good man that is highly skilled in what he does,” his eyes connected with mine. “Found him like I found you. But, something like taking out an entire group will be more work than he can do.”
“So,” I had to fight the urge to fold my arms over my chest, but I still clung to Dylan’s hand. I didn’t want to let her go. “What are we going to do? Wait and see if they retaliate? If they can find us?” I waved a hand, “Aside from the bikes outside, there’s no real sign that this is Boneyard property. The only way they’d know is by seeing people walking in sporting our cuts. Are we going to hide and tell people to stop wearing them?”
“No,” Wilson said with a growl. “We’re not going to hide. We are going to pick business back up, and we’re going to start a regular run to Tony and Suzy. We will let them know that stretch of road is ours.”
“When are we going to start this?”
He hadn’t really paid any mind to Dylan before, but I saw his attention drift to her, “Why
did you bring the girl with you?”
I swallowed hard and fought not to look at her, I didn’t want to show my weakness even when she was standing right behind me. “I don’t want to be shot at anymore,” the hand I was gripping seemed to spasm in my grip before her fingers tightened around my palm again. “I’ve had too many close calls too close together.” I put my free hand to the side that still had stitches in it. “This ain’t the Marines, I’m not ready and willing to die for stupid shit.”
